I placed an order over the phone to receive one Xpress Grill plus the FREE one for a one time payment of $39.90 plus S/H ($15). But, when I checked my credit card, I was charged $139.60. I called them to cancel my order and dispute the charges on my credit card, but they could not find my account, They told me that I had to wait 72 hours, but I made the call 5 days after placing the order. I called a week later and still no account info! So I don't even know If i will receive them! I have read several reviews/complaints and a lot of people are being charged for 2 orders. So not only will I be receiving 4 grills but I was also charged $15 for S/H per item!!!! The worse part is if you want a refund they WILL NOT refund you the S/H ($60), and you have to pay to ship it back. I am going to call my credit card company and have them reverse the charges and issue an investigation. These people are running a scam!!!

I just received the GT Express and was shocked when my credit card was billed $83.70. The infomercial does not state that you will be responsible for paying double shipping and handling. After looking at the size of the gadget, I too, have determined the wells are too small to make the items I had hoped to make. I will be returning and pray that I will be credited appropriately. I am also not sure why I was billed 9.99 for recipe books and additional s/h of 3.99 when I said no to that part of the order request. I am not pleased with this experience at all.

I ordered the GTexpress back in March 2207, they billed me 131.00, (this was supposed to be 2 payments) I have yet to receive the product. I have called several times for a credit, as of today, May 21st, still nothing. I called them today, and got the run around about how they are trying to track the shipment. Real SCAM

I placed my order over the phone on May 5, 2007 for the 2 for 1 offer. $40.00 (2 for 1) 14.95 S&H Totalling $54.95 on my Discover card. I received the order 5/11/07 and tried calling during business hrs. with no luck getting through the recording saying call during bus. hrs. I was calling at the right time! They sent me 4 boxes with a slip inside showing $153.00 no way! I'm contacting discover and consumer protection and anyone else this is wrong and they shouldn't get away with this at all.

My complaint is the same as Robins posted on 4/25/07 so I will simply parrot her remarks: [] They did the same thing to me. It was a buy one-get one free offer. Buy one at $39.90 and the second is free if you pay shipping for it. I was charged $79.80 (they sent me 4!) and charged me $63.75 !!!! for shipping!! They also charged me $9.95 for #1 recipe collection and if I don't cancel they will send me more every month. This is a super scam and I hope more people report them.

I ordered from their tv commerical. My order was supposed to cost 2 payments of $19.95 & I agreed to pay the $39.95 at one time. I called to find out when the merchandise would be delivered and discovered they had charged me $90.00, not $39.95. I refused the shipment and was credited back only $59.80. I called them to get their address and was told it was Company policy not to give out that information. I plan to call the Concumer Affairs and the BBB. I told the girl in the Phillipines why I needed the info and she told me what I previously mentioned about company policy

I called the number (800-357-9213) to order my GT Xpress. When I learned that shipping was $14.95 EACH I said "No thank you". But they already had my credit card info, so they processed the order anyway. The first payment of $49.85 was charged. Upon receipt of the unit I called and got an RMA. I also requested that they send me a prepaid UPS label. The lady I spoke with said she would instead credit the original amount, plus $10 to cover return shipping. When I checked the credit, only $29.95 was credited. So I am short almost $30. I called my bank to contest the charge and they told me I had to work it out with GT Express. Their phone is busy when I try to call.

I bought GT Xpress at price $39.90 (by one get one free)on the phone last Sunday, I got my order five days later; that seems normal, but the total charge was $83.70 , I was surprise that P & H fee was $33.95 and additional $9.95 for recipe (I was told the shipping fee was $14.99 for each item and never heard the recipe charge when I placed order). I called the customer service and was told the recipe charges will be continue if I don't cancel "the recipe collection order", what was that? also the payment should be 2x$19.9 installation payment, but they took the full amount $83.70 right away when they shipped the order. This is the first time I order from infomercial,it let me feel very bad.

I ordered the GT Xpress & like other people thought that they had lost my order when it didn't come for over a month. When it did come, they had sent 4 units & of course charged me shipping on all, for a total of 153.50! I sent the boxes back unopened because I was so furious. They did credit 89.75 for the product, but haven't yet credited me for half of the shipping, as I requested. Their person in the Philippines told me that they would review my taped order (that was done completely without me speaking to anyone) & then make the decision if they would refund the shipping. This has been an expensive lesson--DO NOT ORDER FROM INFOMERCIALS!!!

I ordered this product and almost four months later, they arrived. I paid 69.00 to buy one, get one free. After I realized that I probably wouldn't use them, I returned them. After a month, I still hadn't received my refund. I called the number to track my refund, only to find out the operators are in the Philippines and the office is in Colorado, which received the product, But could take 45 days for my refund to arrive. And finding out that the product was 20.00 and the shipping was 49.00. RIP OFF!

Have NOT received the product, has been several weeks, now I get a charge on my credit card and cannot reach the company. I have called their Customer Service line, which appears on their web site AND on my credit card statement. I called during the business hours they posted on the web site, which are different from the hours announced by the recording on their phone line. And even though I called during business hours -- at 5:45 PM EST on a Wednesday, and I have tried three times today -- I keep getting a recording saying to call back during business hours -- WHICH I AM ALREADY DOING! I am going to dispute the charge if my item does not arrive in one week.

I ordered a GTExpress a month ago, and they never sent it. I hung up before all the ads were done at the end, and so when it never showed up, I figured they cancelled my order, but today we were charged $83.70. It was supposed to be 2 payments of 19.99 and buy one get one free. Anyway you add that up, it doesn't add up to 83.70. I feel ripped off.

I ordered the GT Xpress back in November. It was fine, but in December money was extracted from my account for some magazine that were suppose to be a free trial with the order. I called the magazine company and they stated that the order cam from GT Xpress and that I would have to take this up with them. My money was then refunded. In February I received a charge on my debit/credit card for 13.90 for recipe booklets that I did not order. I was told that I could send them back for a charge and that it was a part of the original order. I am still upset because I hate the thought of someone grabbing money out of my account for something that I did not order. They are also not trying to work with me to get the money refunded. I will never order from an infomercial again. This has taught me a valuable lesson.

Thought I would try one of them. Looked good at 4:30 a.m. on infomercial. Went to website and went through ordering process. When I saw that the deal was going to be $83 I tried to stop the order. In the attempt with their very bad site and ordering system I thought I had stopped it. Called credit card company and GT to reject order. Both said had not been posted. Now arrives a double order of the things and credit card charged $153.50. If I ship back I will be out $15 per unit plus cost of shipping back. What a price to pay for being stupid and not checking this site first. Am attempting to dispute the charges with credit card company and will not open the boxes or try the things. JB

This is definately a scam. I ordered the deluxe GT Xpress 101 Deluxe and from the commercial, I was suppose to get a second one free plus 4 free gifts. I got the 4 free gifts, 2 GT Xpresses 101 with 2 wells each instead of one with 2 wells and 1 with 4 wells. I can't return it as it will cost me $29.90 and I already paid $29.90 having it shipped to me. I don't want to pay $58.80 and end up with nothing. They are very misleading and I am sure as I read the other complaints, that this will go on as usual with no discipline but at least I got my two cents in. Buyer beware, if it's to good to be true, it is!

Beware of GT Media. I ordered the GT xpress machine on January 15, 2007. Spoke with Dena. She was very nice, and I ordered the buy one get one free. $40.00 plus shipping. She then proceeds to tell me I am eligible to Purchase an Aditional machine for $19.90. This was a double burner machine, and with this I would receive an additional regular machine free, plus shipping. I asked Dena to read to me exactly what I would be receiving. I then typed it into my computer and I read it back to her as follows: "So Dena, let me repeat to you what you just told me, I will received 4 machines, 3 GT xpress and 1 deluxe 4 burner, 1 shaker, 1 spatula, 1 pocket maker, 1 injector, 1 bonus recipe book, and 1 regular recipe book, and my total cost is $89.70 for the 4 machines. Dena replies, "let me check that, yes, that is correct." Again, I repeat, I will receive 4 machines? Yes, Dena replies. I ask, is this a recorded line, Dena replies, yes. I received my shipment on February 6, 2007 and I received 2 machines, a 4 burner and 1 regular. I called 800-357-9213, spoke with Deanna. I told her I didn't receive my total order. She said, you received only 2 machines because that is what you ordered. I advised her, Not true! I gave her the reps name, and I read exactly what I read to Dena. I asked her to check her records for the recording. Deanna said, you ordered this on-line. I said, Not True! Deanna said, "nothing she could do". I would have to eat the shipping cost, plus if I wanted to return them, I would have to pay for that shipping also. I advised her, this is scamming, and the Attorney General will hear about this. I called my credit card company, and they are putting a stop payment on this with an investigation. The credit card company also suggested canceling your cards. I would advise anyone who places an order, to advise the rep that you will record their conversation. Ask the rep to speak exactly what you will be receiving and the total charges, and repeat it to them. Some answering machines have recording. Please be sure to tell the rep you are recording this conversation. If they are serious about the sale, ask them to shoot you a quick e-mail and double check your order with them on the phone. I cannot comment on the machine itself because I have not used it. It is going back. Please take the time to advise your Better Business Bureau and your Attorney General to get this on record if you have a problem.

I ordered this product last September of 2006 and never recieved it, I saw the add again and on January 4 2007 reordered it and still have not recieved it. My debit card was cancelled on the first order but the second order I used my credit card. After seeing all these complaints I think I need to cancel my credit card. How can they allow this Company to advertise on T.V.?

I saw the infomercial around Christmas time myself. I went through the automated order process, denied everything and did accept the second machine for only shipping. Well, I've yet to see my product. I never received the product yet. I'm trying to search now to see if they already billed my account. Looking at the feedback, I hope they don't. I do know that I put my information out there, and I'm a bit afraid. I found this website because I was looking for a customer service number to call for this GT x-press product.

The GT Xpress is an ok product. I've made up recipes for it. I was told I was told my credit card would be billed around $50.00. $29.99 for the product and $19.95(or $19.99) for ship and handling. I just got my credit card statement and was billed by GT Xpres $83.70. This put me over my limit, seeing it was around Christmas time. Now I will call them in the AM. If that doesn't work, I'm hoping my credit card company will help.

purchased product a couple months ago and like the other people on this website, it was smaller than kathy made it out to be. i was stupid enough to upgrade for my free one to a larger model. it was automated system. yesterday i received 3 more cookbooks and a bill charging my credit card for 15 dollars. the cookbooks are worthless and i did not order them. i called the company and they told me "they are automatically ordered" when you upgrade and cannot refuse them on the automated system and i will receive them every couple months. i told them i did not order them and even spoke to a supervisor who told me i would have to pay to return them. thank goodness that credit card was cancelled before the charge was placed on it. i told them that credit card is no longer valid so good luck trying to get money, i will not pay. if credit card company sends me bill i will dispute charges for this scam. shame on you gt express. shame on you kathy!
