the whole scam here is the shipping and handling too. To charge $30 in shipping and handling on a $40 product is just plain fraud. I wouldn't order the product when I found that out during my call, and now I am glad i didn't since i see the coating peels off!

Purchased GT Xpress after seeing infomercial. I ordered 2...Received 4 units and was charged over $63.00 in shipping costs. I hope I have the resolve to NEVER order from an infomercial again! (I'm no spring chicken, you'd think I'd have learned a thing or two by now)DUH

This company is blood sucking bussiness. I actually spoke to someone twice, returned the product, but they kept deducting money every month for 8 months from my bank account. I didnt even have the product any more! I just got off the phone and they said this time they will stop automatic billing, but they are not able to refund any money!I am outraged!

A Total Scam! Question: How can this cold blooded company remain in business? What law is protecting them day in and day out to continue peddling their useless GT Express with such impunity? We bought 2. The non-stick peeled away after second use, need I say more? No returns allowed, no customer service, should I go on? Better not! Thanks to this site I realized the extent of this heartless outfit! Starting with the so called host (she definitely is aware of the trash she is selling yet she continues on, probably a millionaire by now sucking out the hard earned money of consumers like me! Love to meet her in public and give her a piece of my mind-just a small piece, mind you) Incredible how Television opens itself wide to assist these manipulators! As long as the channel takes no responsibility for the program they are exempt of any liability excepting the profit they make for allowing the infomercial to show day in and day out through this Great Country. What are they going to sell next: blood for vampires? As long as a disclaimer is exhibited I guess they can sell crap disguised as granola and probably get away with it every time. I urge consumers to use credit cards that are protected from fraudulent transactions and this one sure qualifies! Change your credit/debit card number if that is what it takes but do not let these "money sucking" beasts continue to augment their bank accounts! Enough is enough! Yes, I bought the GT Express and it is a terrible product. Wouldn't wish on any decent american citizen or indecent for that matter. With all the legal loopholes and carefully worded literature they knew from the beginning that the money would come! The Shipping and Handling alone is profit for these calculating merchants of deficient/defective goods. I learned my lesson. A nice Lady that works for the Post Office said to me: "If you can not find it at Target or Walmart, you are probably better without it" Hear, Hear, A Beautiful Wise Lady Has Spoken!! Thank you Infomercialscams.com, you are the real deal! Long Live America!

I'm fifty years old and you would think I'd know better! I am extremely unhappy with the way GTMedia (marketers of GTXpress101)
does business. I did NOT order the cookbooks which they keep sending and billing my credit card for. I plan on contacting the U.S. Attorney General's office about this scam. Suggest you do the same because the Better Business Bureau does not have clout. The Attorney General's office does.

I ordered products called GT xpress cooker in 10/2007 however, I didn't order any of the cooking recipe or anything but when they sent the products over with bunched of paper recipes -I don't need and don't know about & charged me with $83.70 half of the amount wre for shipping cost!! I took it as a bad buy and lesson to learn. by the way, the product are useless anyway. That is not enough for them in December they charge me $13.90 with unauthorized debit to my bank account-I called the WAMU bank try to dispute the amount - GO no where! I though Oh boy! lesson to learn what a bad deal to deal with this bank. I stop putting money to my account and tried to deal with the GAI express by calling them on the 800-357-9213 they never answer the phone -that is not enough for them they took another unauthorized charge on my bank account again this monthe Feb. 7, 2008 for the same amount $13.90 for what - I don't even know - itry to call them again - never answer the phone. i try to dispute with the bank- they told me I authorized it - I tracked all my order - save all my bills for years -I don't have any records on this company and why are they skip months on the charge if it is suppose to be monthly charge why I donot get any bill or alert by email or mail or invoice or nothing! I'm going to call the TV News to report this scam company. Do you have any Idea what to do. It make me so angry-i don't car that the amount is not much but it is my money and I work hard to earn every pennies of it.

My GT xpress non-stick coating peeled off in patches after less than a dozen uses. Grill a cheese sandwich, wipe off the excess cheese AND a patch of coating. Purchased on phone with automated order. Never got a total of the charges. Did not get amount for shipping. Sounded like I would pay $80 something. But billed $139 in three automatic withdrawals from my checkcard. A HUGE rip-off. I did not bother with return or complaint to the company because I did not want further irritation or frustration and figured this is how they do business--by ripping people off & I would just get ripped off further & angry as hell.

They charged me 13.90 for something I never received or ordered. I called and was told I would have to return the merchandise in order to get a refund. If I never received the merchandise, how could I return it. I was told that was not their problem. I am going to have to fight this out through my credit card company. By the way there customer service dept is awful and no help at all.

GT express cooker 101 is a huge scam. I could repeat the same information that everyone else has, but it's just as easy to say Dido !!! It is more than a simple scam, it is fraud. When you talk with someone, they our from the Philippines. The cookers are sent from Ohio, but the main company is in Broomfield Colorado. They represent a number of info ads and product to include Billy Blanks TaeBo. Go to [] if you can get it to work. They need to be shut down ASAP. If they don't stand behind who they are advertising then they are part of the scam. They have also filed a chapter 11 already. NICE !!!

After I paid for my GT in full and my account closed, GT continued to debit my bank account for items I did not order and did not receive. GT agreed to send me a refund check for the 6 unauthorized debits they made in 2006,but have not sent the check as of this date 1-3-08. I had to close my bank account to stop the debits by GT and inform Bank of America of the unauthorized debits. I wonder how many other customers they are doing this to.

I ordered the product this past October. A month went by with nothing received. I happened to look online at my credit card statement and I had a credit, but not for the full amount. I called, they said that it was returned undeliverable as addressed. Of course! So they gave me a credit for the remaining amount. I thought this was all set, until I found a charge today for $13.90 and I can't get in touch with them. The phone has been busy everytime I call. Keep your eyes out everyone!

I was going to order this product in August of 2007 when the lady on the phone said buy one get one free! Then she explained that I would have to pay shipping ( a lot) for each machine. I told her never mind, to cancel my order and send me nothing. A few days later there was a charge for 69.80 on my card and a couple of weeks later it showed up at my door. I tried to call them, but you can't get in touch with customer service, they are constantly busy! It is easy, however, to get in touch with the ordering side. Through several hang-ups, transfers, "I'll call you backs," etc. It is now January and I am finally getting back my full refund on something I never ordered in the first place! Awful company, awful customer service! What a scam!

The same has happened to me with the GT xpress. I just ordered it over the phone and was shocked when I saw the bill for $69.75 first payment. I called and they told me I still owed a payment of $19.95 next month. I argued and argued and they finally agreed to deduct $15.00 off to prevent from sending the whole package back. But today,, I checked my bank acct, and low and behold, there's a charge on there for $13.90. Now, I knew nothing about this until I read the other reviews. They never mentioned this. I'm going to the bank Monday and changing my card. They never gave me the $15.00 credit either. I'm scared to send it back because I may never get my money back. The person I spoke with said to be sure I sent it certified to be sure I had a record it was sent, which also sent off another flag. Never again will I order from a TV commercial. I've learned my lesson.

the product is worth very little they lie about it not burning food. Also when ordering this they rell you that you get new books every month , and you don't have to accept them. On top of that they tell you you can cancel them anytime. these books have kept coming for months and they have been aautomatically deducted from my charge card,' The bank card I have is not very good as when i called them to complain about this charge they told me that they had bo authority to cancel the deduction. I was told I had to cancel it with gt, that it a double whammy as I had cancelled it with the company and they continue to bill my card. i Thought thtat bank cars are to protect this happening. There was no contract to accept all the books, and I remember when I called to cancell she insisted that I continue , but i said no, she also stated there were only 4 more sets. I stated that is not what I was told when I ordered the gt express. I was told that the books could be cancelled any time there was not supposed to be a charge unless you kept them-thye charge your card as soon as they send the books,

We purchased the xpress and for some reason returned it within a week. 2 months later I noticed my bank account showed a debitted amount from the company. I called my bank and the xpress company, only to find out that when we boght the machine they also signed us up (I am sure we agreed to it in some shape or form) for a recipe program, for which we would have been charged every 2 months forever, even when u cancel the product, so there were 2 accounts. May be not a scam, but be careful what u sign up for and read every line of ur bank statement.
