What a deceptive and fraudulant commercial! I watched the informercial on TV and was intrigued. I had just moved into my new home and was interested in hanging some pictures without doing much damage. For $14.99, I figured in was worth the try. I wrote the toll free number down and contacted them by phone to order. I was surprised that it was an automated ordering process--I never was able to speak to a real person. They asked if you were interested in ordering (which I was) and they then asked for your credit card information. After providing the information, they asked if you would be interested in their lifetime replacement program (which provided 10 hooks "whenver you need them FREE for life...just pay shipping and handling"). If you say that you would be interesteed in the program, they immediately send you 10 additional hooks and bill you $5.98. They automatically continue to bill you $5.98 every 60-90 days (even though you may not want them). Never during this automated process are you informed of the shipping charges. Instead they continue to offer their additional products. After 10 minutes of replying "no", "no", "no" to their additional offers, I finally hung up the phone. When I received my bill, I was charges $31.90 for a $14.99 set of hooks. When I called the customer service dept, I was told that they billed $10.93 for shipping/handling and I was also billed $5.98 since I "enrolled" in their replacement program. I informed the service rep. that during the ordering process, there was never any mention of the shipping/handling charges (which by the way, ended up costing them $2.07 to mail) or that they would automatically bill you for the replacement program. I informed the rep that I was not interested yet in ordering any additional hooks in their "Free for Life" program. She indicated that they start the "program" once you agree to participate and would bill you every 60-90 days automatically. I informed her that I was not interested and wanted that charge credited back to me. She indicated that they would eliminate any future charges but I would still need to pay the $5.98 charge for the initial additional hooks (that I did not want or order). They have refused to credit by account so therefore, I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the bill. I will also be contacting the Attorney General in Tennessee (home office of the Hercules Hook company) to file a complaint. In addition, they also never clarify their 30 day money back guarantee. I have since found out that they would refund your $14.99 charge if you mail the product back to them (of course, your cost to send it back!) What a rip-off company.. How many other people are also getting ripped off by them daily!!!

I ordered the Hercules Hooks thru their automated phone lines. VERY missleading and very confusing. They make it sound like the life time membership was ONLY offered at that time and they said nothing regarding being billed immediately for the extra $5.98 for shipping nor did they mention that every 90 days they would automatically charge your credit card and mail you out 10 more!! I told the customer service people I did not want the laser light as I did not want to pay the additional postage. They said I had no other choice and that it was mailed out in a package separately along with the extra 10 free hooks they advertise on their TV commercial. They is a lie! They mail everything together, 30 hooks and the laser in 1 tiny padded envelope that cost them only $2.07 and charged me the additional 2 shipping charges of $4.98 (for the laser) and $5.98 (for the extra 10 for the lifetime membership)!!! They are purposly misleading and taking advantage of honest customers. What a scam these people have going. They not only are getting the profits for the product, they are also getting rich off the bogus extra postage they are making. This needs to stop and they should be shut down for unethical practices.

Ordered the product in Oct recieved and paid 31.90. This included lifetime membership. I would only pay $5.98 shipping an handling when I ordered more. Since then I was charged in Dec and Feb. Dec I missed the charge on my bill but in Oct I noticed the charge and called. I was told even if I refused the shipment I would be charged. I cancled my credit card and my credit card company is returning the $5.98 for Feb. I called Hercules Hooks again and asked for the recording they said they had. The only way to hear it is to call the number you ordered from. Like you keep a record of it and even then ther would be no record.

On Jan. 3, 2007 I was told that I ordered Hercules Hooks. On Jan. 16th $194.94 was removed from by checking account. I called and reported that I did not order the hooks. My mistake was getting mad and hanging up telling the computer I didn't want a set of hooks. The box of hooks finally arrived on 1/30/07. The same day I mailed the hooks back Priority Mail. It arrived 3/31/07 at 3:31. I have called and called and no money returned to my account. I was told that besides the $8.10 it cost to mail back I would be charged a restocking fee. Thats when I blew. Well..Hercules Hooks upper management would take my complaint under advisement. Today is Feb. 14th Happy Valentines Day and still no money. I will never order anything over the phone again. Never do business with Hercules Hooks.

Ordered Hercules hooks first week of Jan, 2007 and paid for the "rush" delivery in 3-4 days. It is now 3 wks later, and no hooks. When you try to find a ph# on their website, some things you click on are not there! They say you can fill out this form, no form. I emailed "support@hercules.com" no response. I did a 'live chat', they didn't offer anything but the support email address! Do Not Order these things

Hercules hooks sounded so good on TV that we ordered 10 for $14.99. It took a while but we did receive 30, a bonus laser level, and our card was charged with $31.90. I called the complaint number given on their website and was given a cancellation number for future mailings. If it ends here, I think I got by a little better than some of the other complaints on this scam site, but I will never order anything from an infomercial again!

I ordered this product about 8 weeks ago and do not have it yet. To order, you have to sit through 10 minutes of automatic sales upgrades, especially a faster delivery upgrade that cost a lot more before the order is completed. Do not deal with these people.

The Hercules Hooks infomercial said $14.99 plus S+H of course. It was an ALL automated phone call and said nothing about the cost of S+H. It only cost $2.07 for them to ship it but they charged us $16.99 for the handling. So we called them and they said it cost $2.07 for shipping but $14.93 for handling!!!! I was outragged!!! Their 10 little hooks you shoved into a little bag, how does S+h cost more than the product!! What a scam, unfortunately they got my $32.

Hercules Hooks is a rip off. They send out products that you do not order and charge ungodly shipping and handling charges. The package was marked $4.73 in US postage... I was charged over $60.00 for shipping and handling. Note the package was an envelope less than 6x9 in size. And to top it off I never ordered the items enclosed. NONE!!!
