I wish I had read this before I tried to purchase!! My aunt asked for Hip Hop Abs for Christmas. I went online and ordered the product. I had the order confirmation on the screen for $78.33. On the same screen there was a print receipt link. When I hit print receipt, it brought up a totally different order for another one of their products for $269. I checked me email for confirmation and it was the wrong order!! The company was closed, so I called my credit card company and froze my credit card so nothing could be billed. The next morning I immediately called the company and they said I ordered 2 of this other product!! After arguing that I hadn't he tried to convince me to keep my order!!! I told him no way for $269 and to cancel it now! He was argumentative until I told him I had already froze my credit card and under no circumstances will this be approved! He gave me my 2 cancellation #'s then tried to get me to order hip hop abs. I told him no way and told him I felt this was a shady company and did not trust them. Needless to say I still called my credit card company and had them re-issue my credit card # because I do not trust they wont bill this in a few weeks!

Wow is all I can say. I had the same experience with Beachbosy as well. They really need to get people who speak english to work the customer service line. I got so frustrated I freaked out at the poor lady. I know it wasnt her fault, but come one why have people who can barely speak english work the english customer service line. And the so called supervisors that are not willing to do anything about it. I got sent 2 different orders and was charged for them. When I returned the one set which I didnt pay for at the time, I sent it return to sender. They told me it got lost and that they would'nt refund my money until they received it. After calling a million time and freaking out some more they finally received it but it was after the 30 day money back guarantee. How convenient for them. So I never did get my full money back for one of the products I didnt even order. Whay a gong show. I would not recomend ordereing anything from Beachbody. You are probably better off to buy it [].

I ordered this product and after reading the scam complaints I decided to call and cancel my order. Sure enough, they gave me the same response as the others. I cannot cancel because the order has already been processed. No where do they tell you when you order that you cannot cancel. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!

Major Scam...Do not order this item. I ordered online and was billed 2 times. I called to inform them of their mistake and was told I was my error. I even spoke w/ the supervisor and was told they could not do anything about it. At this point I have to have my credit card company deal w/ it. I am very dissapointed that I did not read all the bad press first!!!!!!!

DON'T DO IT!!!! I am not sure about Hip Hop Abs Directly, but I tried to order from this CORRUPT company BEACH BODY today & it was not fun. I spoke to 3 people 6 hours apart, none of which could communicate worth SH**! & they all told me to call back in 3 hours when my order is processed. They tried to charge me a total of $160.00 for what Hip Hop Abs was going to offer me directly for the $60.00. I know this, because I called the 800# directly for HiHopAbs & she offered me everything for $60.00. I called Beach Body back again & I had to cancel my order with a supervisor over the phone w/beach body & I had to email them to get confirmation of this, because she of course had no conf# to give me over the phone & I had to report my card lost/stolen because the people that worked there asked my for my card info again & again & I stupidly gave it to them. I would not trust this company!!!!

Just so everyone knows, it is not just Hip Hop Abs that is trying to scam you! It is the entire Beachbody website as a whole. I wanted to order the hip hop abs DVD until I saw what website was advertising it. I had ordered from beach body before, and the same thing happened to me with the multiple ordering and charging my debit card without authorization. While filling out the information, I decided I couldn't afford it at that time, so I placed my order (so I thought) on a hold. Then I went back a couple days later to actually place the order, and changed my mind again. Without even hitting send, both orders were placed and charged to my card without my knowledge. When I called to cancel, stating that I never completed my order and did not want the merchandise they basically told me , "oh well". Not to mention could barely speak english! I asked them what I was going to do with double work out DVD's and 2 exercise balls. They were not cooperative and would not refund my money. I even sent the merchandise back immediately once recieved, which I had to pay for shipping out of my pocket! I contacted my bank and reported it as fraud, stating that I never placed the order. Thankfully, my bank credited me and went after beachbody themselves. I had to get a new debit card so they wouldn't keep charging me, and I've never ordered from them again! Hard lesson learned, and a real pain in the ***!!!!

This whole company is a joke. I fell into this commercial thinking dancing would be fun for another form of exercise. It would have been fun if this guy wasn't completely annoying and didn't use cuss words for my toddler to pick up. I sent back my product but only received partial credit. They claimed that it was because I didn't send back one of those little 4 page booklets telling you to starve yourself for 6 days. You can't tell me that those stupid books are $20.00. The customer service department is useless, barely speaking english and telling you things that are not true! Avoid making the same mistakes that all of us did! THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SKAM!!!! By the time they took out all their charges I only received 30.00 out of my 70.00. This should be illigal.

I too fell for this crap! I order by phone and in a few mins. I decide that I did not want to order because it would cost 70.00 for some tapes when I can work out for free or at school. I call to cancel right after my order and the lady told me that I could not cancel and I need to call customer service on a Sunday. I called and spoke to a man in India or one of those places and he told me the same as everyone else has written. Can not cancel at this time it was shipped. BS! Check do not get mail out that fast so, why would Ibelieve this guy. I told him that if he does not cancel my order that I would contact the credit card company and have it cancel and place under fraud charges. Next day I call my bank I they told me that this has happen to a lot of customers and they suggested that my card be cancel and but the company under fraud alert. So I did. Have not had a problem since. I am keeping the tapes because I have paid 40.00 to the company and this is pay back. When someone says to cancel a order for whatever reason do it! This is why the company is making money because they are stealing from the consumers. I suggested if you have brought anything off of the TV, CHECK YOUR CARD CREDIT SUMMARY each month because they will keep charging your credit card! Trust me on that one!

I have read the stories on here and mine actually started out like many of yours. I'm a big infomercial freak, I so naive to think it must work because they are on TV! I started my order to Hip Hop Abs at 1:50pm I submitted all of my information and went on to the next page. At the top of the page there were progession arrows that tell you how much more you had to go before your order is done and completed. I get to the next page and realized that the tapes I actually wanted were going to be another 3 payments $19.95. The infomercial as I saw it showed a bunch of taps that you do not get unless you pay another $60 or so. I decided that since the tapes I wanted were extra that I was going to think about it, so I closed the browser without completing the order process. About 30 minutes later I see a email alert pop up saying thank you for your order and it was from Hip Hop Abs. I was too HOT over that. I read the email and immediatedly called them, I got some on the for who didn't speak English very well of course. He argued with me about the fact that I did indeed ordered the product and I had to call back the next day between 11-2pm because that was when the new order batches are picked up. In that same breath he told me that they can't stop the orders because they are immediately processed and shipped. You and I all know that is a bunch of BS. I was so upset I started screaming at the poor guy that was only reading off a script what he had been told to say. I got off the phone and later that night I responded to the email telling them I wanted that order stopped immediately and I did not want the product. I received a response the next day saying there is nothing they can do because the order shipped as soon as I paid for it (whatever) and I had to wait until the order came and call back to get a RA number and they would credit my money back minus shipping and handling once they received the tapes back. I went off again and told them they are ripping people off and I wasn't paying for shipping for some crap I didn't want in the first place. I also threatened to file a report with BBB and told them not to contact me any longer. I received an email the next day telling me my order had shipped LOL!! At this point I was out for revenge--like making copies and handing them out to everybody--anybody. Having said all that, the tapes actually came in about 3 business days I tried them and LOVED it. I was charged the right amounts so far, but they do rope you in by conviently sending you emails at the end of 30 days for more tapes. I've gotten great results from the workouts, they are very fast paced and not for everyone. I do not encourage anyone to by from beachbody.com though.

ok, where do i start... I ordered Hip Hop Abs on 9-10-07 and recv'd a order confirmation for the 1 order I placed. the next day, I recv'd a email confirmation of the order beeing shipped. two days later, i recv'd 2 more email confirmations of my ORDERS being shipped. I placed 1 order, so i sent an email to Beachbody.com to ask them about this. 3 days later, TODAY, i recvd a response telling me that i placed 3 orders and when the other two get here, i can return them. OKAY, WAIT A MINUTE I THOUGHT TO MYSELF!!! i ONLY placed 1, and now i am charged for 3? then i also got my package today. so, i called beachbody, was transfered to another #, just to be told that MY computer must have made a mistake (the day after my origional order) and hit the submit button 3 times. my computer did it... not them. they told me that they could refund me the $ back, after i get a tracking number once my orders came in, and i would have to pay for the shipping to get it back to them. i was charged a total of 196.53 for 3 orders, when i actually placed one! so, now i sit here, mad as hell, and not a thing i can do about it but wait until they get it back in there hands. so my advice to you...DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. BEACHBODY.COM... IS A SCAM! out to get all that they can from you. please do not make the same mistake i did. i wish i would have found this website before i ordered. if you do order from them... then i will wish you luck...

Okay, I got sucked into the infomercial. It looked like fun and it was fun the 1st time through, after that, some of the moves really hurt my hips and back and it does move too fast. I didn't have any trouble sending it back and getting a refund. The return authorization # is the order number. One thing I learned is if it's too good to be true, it is. The only way to get fit and stay fit, is to make a commitment to yourself to incorporate regular exersise and a sensible balanced diet of fresh, healthy food in modest portions. Make it a habit like brushing your teeth, or breathing!
I'm 51 yrs old and in the best shape of my life. I walk 4 miles a day everyday and also do alternating days of light weights for upperbody, basic core exercises such as Joey Atlas's Core of Steel, and hip, butt, thigh DVD's. Takes about 35-40 minutes and it goes fast. No frills just the basics and if done on a regular basis along with a healthy diet you will be amazed at how good you feel and look. Not magic, just plain hard work. It's my addiction, everyday I look forward to my workout. It's my time for myself.

My sisters friend ordered Hip Hop abs, and i have to say doing the work out made me not only look but feel really silly. The moves did not make me feel the ab "burn" and then to top it off the whole thing goes way way too fast. This is just another scam video just to make money. Im just glad i didnt even have to pay the 60 or 70 $ fee.

I ordered this product by telephone and gave my bank information. They guy I was speaking with kep trying to sell me more and more product, even though I kept stating I only want what is being offered for 3 pymnts of 19.95. When I would say, "no, thank you", he would tell me how all the people I had seen on TV doing hip-hop abs had all the products they were offering and if I wanted the same results, I needed these other things. I just kept saying no, and to please stop offering me anything else, but he just kept on. I know I was on the phone for more than 20 minutes with this jerk. I almost just hung up w/out ordering. When I looked online at my bank account I saw that they had charged me a one-time fee, it was over 170.00! I immediately called and got major run around and they couldnt credit my account for 7-10 days! I was overdrawn, it was a Friday and I had no groceries for my children. This was a nightmare. Then a magazine started charging me money because of these people-it has gone on and on. They finally credited me and then a month later there was a 39.80 charge. Oh, and I never received the product. They said they shipped it and even gave me a tracking number from some shipping company but never gave me the company name or phone number. Learn from my mistake and never give out your cc over the phone or bank information. I finally had to cancel out my checkcard and have my bank reissue another one to stop all the charges. There was a woman named Kandace Bonner that finally helped me and gave me credits to my account.

I purchased this from an infomercial advertising 3 payments of $19.95 each, and what I thought was free shipping. Repeatedly throughout the ordering process I was asked if I wanted to buy other upgrades; repeatedly I told them I only wanted what was offered for 3 payments of $19.95. The order finally arrived about 10 days after I ordered - hardly priority shipping. My first bill came & it was for $38.55. I assumed that was 2 of the 3 payments. My next bill came and I was charged $19.95 PLUS $41.55 by Million Dollar Body. I had noticed emails from them but when I clicked & they were nothing more than ads to buy more stuff, I deleted and thought no more about it. I then called Customer Service. The CSR was very polite but insisted that he could not reverse the charge for MDB because I was "over the 30 day free trial period". Yeah, if you count from the date I was charged; not if you count from the day I actually got the shipment. I told him that, told him I didn't need to pay for commercials coming to my inbox, etc. and he basically said he couldn't do anything for me except send a transcript of my order. I said fine. The transcript finally showed up about 2 weeks later; it won't open. I have serious doubts that I would hear the actual conversation I had anyway. After all, they've had plenty of time to doctor it up to say whatever they want it to say. I know that I repeated many, many times "I only want what I get for 3 payments of $19.95." I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the onerous shipping & handling fees. Come on, $19 for a 2 lb box that took two weeks to get to me? I told the CSR that he needed to look for a new job. That he was a very good CSR but that he worked for a really shysty company. Any company that has to resort to this kind of tactic to make sales ought to be censored off the airwaves and out of business. Shaun should be ashamed of himself. Although I doubt he cares as he sits around in his fraudulently earned sweats probably laughing at all us suckers who fell for this product.

I was charged an amount that was not shown on the confirmation page. The invoice said my credit card would be charged $78.33, but it was charged $78.44. That seems small, but when you only put $78.33 in your bank account and it overdrafts because of a company's stupid mistake, you go crazy. I tried to get a refund and cancel my order, but they refused and my package had already been shipped out. The entire customer representative department has been outsourced to India. None of them know English and they don't listen to you. They act like they don't know what you're saying and repeat all these rehearsed sayings to you over and over, constantly harassing you with more deals and other things to waste your money on; along with thick, difficult-to-understand accents. They're rude, obnoxious and crude. I am currently awaiting my package in the mail, it's been 3 days and so far and I am very displeased. Hopefully, when the video gets here I'll be through with them. Be ware.

Customer Service Reps from hell! No matter how hard you try they just don't shut up trying to get you to order more crap. I have to admit I like the videos and they have held my interest and have gotten fairly good results. One of their best scams is the member ship. I didn't even realize I was getting a membership. They don't email you to let you know the trail peroid is over and then whack 49.50 onto your card. They promised to call me back after they had reviewed the tapes on which I supposedly said I would try the membership. That was about 12 days ago still waiting to hear.

What happened to Inem happened to me. I was on the web site because I wanted to check out the product. However, I wanted to see what was being offered with Hip Hop Abs and how much it would actually cost with shipping, since I live in a US territory. I made the mistake to put in my credit card number; that was the only way to "proceed", so that I could see every thing. I did not confirm the order yet Beachbody charged me and sent me some email stating the order had shipped. When I saw it, I said to myself, "What order?" There was no way to remove the product from the basket. Buyer beware of Beachbody and its products period! Don't, I repeat, do not put in any of your information or you will be screwed.

I am outside the country and ordered hip hop abs while away so it could be there when i got home. i ordered through the website and wanted to get the basic what i thought was a free upgrade to the advanced. when i got to the checkout page i realized it charged me another 60 dollars for the advanced, so i tried removing it from the cart, but the whole thing freaked me out so i closed out the page WITHOUT confirming the order. Well, i read some more reviews and decided to go for it so i went online and ordered just the basic and hit the confirm order button ONCE. I saw 2 30 dollar charges on my bank account so i thought that was the 60 dollars that it cost and that was that. 2 months later i found out they went ahead and processed that previous order where i had x'ed out the page without confirming the order, as well as the one basic order that i wanted. the 2 30 dollar charges i saw were for the first charges for the 2 orders. since i was out of the country i didnt see the second charge until more than a month later, i got screwed and i can't return the second package because it's been more than 30 days. Seriously peeved and don't know what else to do now.

I called and spoke to customer service who was less than helpful but they admit they received the items but couldn't explain the additional withdrawl. They said they would rectify the situation in 2 weeks. It's april 19, 2007 and I have called repeated to their customer service and just get nothing but hold. 1-866-370-8219 if you need the number. I will NEVER order anything from TV again.
