I bought Instant Igia Cover from the TV (light, medium, dark) and yes it arrived in time and yes it didnt work at all! I was gutted! Then trying to get the money back as promised in the advertisement was a complete waste of time to. Although above all other things the one one thing that really really made me angry was that it wasnt water resistant! It even states on the front of the product above the shade that it is "water resistant"!!!!!!
Never Again!
I origanally purchased igia in the states and loved it as it did exactly as it said covered dark blemishes perfectly and gave the perfect complection. As i live in the uk i brought 5 packs home with me. It took me two years before i needed to open a new pack and when i did it was not the same. the coverage was thin and seemed to almost be transparaent. it would not cover anything. i did notice that the ones i had opened and started using were still fabulous and never lost there consistency. i think the sealed packets of igia went off! as and became unusable however i am still using the igia i originally opened 5 years ago. it seems to be that the air in them keeps them in constant consistency. anyway i am still desperately trying to get what i call fresh igia but so far have ordered from ebay and have had several packets sent that are no good to me as they are not fresh. its not the sellers fault as they do not realise this when they sell it unless its dated as it looks just as good as the day it was made but smooths onto the skin like a thin cream as opposed to the smooth glowing full coveridge the fresh igia gives. i hope that explains it perhaps the manufacturer should sell them unsealed as this maintains the freshness. its a fabulous product when new. but absoulutely useless when stored for long periods. i hope that helps if you have any fresh igia that works, im fed up of buying igia and putting it in the bin. as its hard to explain to the sellers that it doesnt work when you try to send it back..and its cost me a fortune

I received a kit of Igia instant cover for the body and the eye...i used them...for my big SHOCK nothing of what they advertise in the TV are correct...their product is a big LIE...i used them and used them and used them with no positive results; the stretch marks still can be seen, the spots are still shown, the dark circles around the eye still say 'HI AM THERE'...when i first saw the videos of their products in the TV and in the internet i said to my self "is there realy a product that can cover all what they talk about: spots, birthmarks, blotches, freckles...etc... . To tell u the truth i was so happy waiting to receive my order and even encouraged 3 of my friends to buy it...but now i will tell all of them that DIFINITELY there product is a big lie....

I too put in an order for Instant Cover. The charge was on my credit card asap while I waited for months for it to arrive. I contacted them with no response. Decided since it was for one jar of their coverup I was not going to spend one more dime fighting them, not one minute charged on my cell phone . I'll call it a small lesson learned and hit it where it hurts them most........in their pockets. Word of mouth can spread far and wide, especially with the internet. I will use my time wisely, put out the facts to any who intend on making a purchase, instead of wasting my time on the phone with empty promises. They don't need my help, they do a great job discrediting themselves. And once I decided not to waste any calls to them, being talked to like I'm uneducated. I did the proper thing, I contacted my local Attorney General in my state and did it the right way, the same way this company should have handled their customers. Who would even trust their skin to the claims of their products now?

I'm a full-time college student with a part-time job, meaning I don't have a lot of time to spend in front of the mirror and I'm on a fixed income. So, when I saw the TV infomercial for Igia Instant Cover I thought, "finally a cover-up that will allow me to show my face and wear shorts again without feeling self-conscious! This could be the product to build my self-esteem and the price is manageable!" I could never have been more wrong. Little did I know I was in for a nightmare! Well the same day I saw the TV ad I called their 1800 number. What should have tipped me off was the automated order service, no real life customer rep. to process your order, only a recording asking for your name, address, and credit card number. Still believing this product was to give me beautiful looking skin, I gave my credit card number and then the line was cut. I was hung up on before I could give the shade of cover up I needed or any other necessary info. This occurred June 2006. The next day I called to speak to someone to see whether or not my order had gone through. After finally getting a hold of an actual person, they told me they had no info regarding my order but it does take time to process so I should try calling back. This went on for 3 months, during which time different reps. kept giving me the run around telling me their computers were down so call back in 15-30 min;I would call back only to get no answer. It wasn't until I finally received the product that I was able to really speak with someone. However, what had originally been $39.95 plus $8.95(S&H) had turned out to be a total charge of $200! I WAS SHIPPED THE WRONG ITEM AND WAS CHARGED 5 TIMES WHAT IT'S WORTH!! Afterward, I called incessantly to have this problem solved. I was promised a full refund if I returned the items. Needless to say, after returning the items I was still not credited the absurd amount I was wrongfully charged. Again, I called practically every day and again they would fill me with their lies, "our computers are down, call back, it will take 30 business days to process". During those 30 days my calls were never answered, it would just ring and ring, and then I find out THEY HAD DISCONNECTED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBERS! I was able to get a different customer service number and when I called the # it turned out it was for Igia Instant Cover in Tennessee and California. They claimed they had no affiliation with Igia Instant Cover in New York (which is where my order came from) so they had no record of my purchase, therefore, could not help me. I even tried speaking with a supervisor and was given the same story. I was basically told to stop bothering them and I was crazy because they had nothing to do with any NY Igia! I should have known at this point that these people had finished scamming people at their NY station and had now stationed themselves in Tennessee and California to sucker more innocent people out their hard earned money!!! It is now January 2007 and I have yet to see the $200 I was robbed. I put all my hopes and trust into a cosmetic company, Igia, and product that DOESN'T EVEN WORK! I am now in the process of trying to get the justice I deserve through Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau. Please don't make the same mistake I've regrettably made. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM IGIA! I feel like the biggest chump in the world thanks to this experience, and my nightmare continues. I have no clue as to how Igia is still allowed to do "business"!!! If there are any other victims out there that were successful in resolving their problems with Igia please post your story!

I too had the same issue. Last year I did order this product and I did receive it but was not happy with the product. I kept it and this past July I received another order of it. I never placed this order and was charged on my credit card for this. I called them and they informed me that I did order it. I told them I wanted to send it back and they told me that they would reimburse me. It has been over three months and everytime I call, I get hung up on after 10 minutes. I also e-mailed them, and didn't receive any response. Very discouraging and I would not recommend anyone buying anything from this company.,,

I thought that it only happened to me! I am very happy to learn that I'm not the only one! It's been over a year since I ordered instant igia, thinking that soon my problems would be over. With high hopes, I waited without complaint for three months and finally began to call and email. Nothing happened. I would be hung up on, and all my money was wasted! Don't buy this product!

I ordered Igia Instant Cover almost 3 months ago and have never received the product. I sent a postal money order via Priority Mail. I tracked the money order and it was cashed in by Igia. When you call the phone number on their website, it puts you on hold for about 5 minutes then disconnects the call (tried this several times -- same result). I sent their customer service several emails but haven't gotten any responses (their "auto-response" reads that you'll receive an answer in 24 hours -- not). I will file the usual consumer complaint forms (BBB, etc.) to warn others, but I guess I have to write off the money. I will never again order anything from them. Thank god I didn't use a credit card and give them access to that!

About Five months ago, I ordered makeup from Igia. I have never recieved any of it. The money for my order was taken out very quickly, but I still haven't recieved my makeup! I e-mailed them and told them what had happened, and they said I should get it in about three weeks. Well, it is past three weeks, and I still haven't gotten it! I have been trying to call the numbers they have listed for customer service, but no one answers, it just rings or says you need to call this other number for customer assitance. When I call the other numbers they give me, the same thing happens! No one answers!! I am very mad that I wasted money on ordering something from Igia. I will never order from them agian!!!
