THEY DEDUCTED $63.74, OUT OF MY ACCOUNT, OVER DRAFTED IT, I HAD TO BORROW TO COVER IT, THEN NEVER HAVE GOTTEN MY $19.95 CREDIT IT HAS NOW BEEN OVER 12 DAYS. THE POLES I HAVE BUT THEY TOO ARE CRAP AND I FIND YOU GET NO ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON AND THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING. NOW I AM TOLD IT WILL BE IN MY ACCOUNT BY WED THE 19TH! AFTER ON NOV 6TH THEY SAID IT WOULD BE THERE!!
ONE POOR GUY DID NOT EVEN GET HIS PRODUCT SHITTY AS IT IS BUT AFTER 2 MONTHS STILL HAS NOT BEEN REFUNDED HIS MONEY

Used the Instant Fisherman four times. Three times had to take it apart and untangle the line. Fourth time the rod broke. The rod is made of very low grade material. I can get a new one, but shipping and handling is $6.95 and the rod is not worth it. The rod is a good ideal but just to cheap. Also did not get the free muli-tool, I called and they never took care of it. This product needs to be taken off the market. I did not expect much but this product is a piece of junk DO NOT BUY.

I purchased one(1) product from this company. I received it shortly after with no problems. Then I noticed that i was continuing to be billed. I received two (2) more that were NOT ordered by me! there are only 2 number to reach this company. It is impossible to reach them, and they appear to screen their calls. I am still trying to get the money that I am owed. Do not buy this product.

The worst thing i have ever bought. I bought the 2 for one deal i was so excited to get it from seeing the infomercial. I though cool i can use this thing anywhere. The first time i tried to go fising i took it out of the package. I pulled the line out to adgust the trag and the pole snapped in 1/2. Every one laphed at me and said what a joke. I called to get a refund the guy said it would be minus shipping and handeling so i said no way and he said i can send you another one for free. I said ok i will give it another shot. I took it out yesterday at a small pond on the forth cast the pole flew in to the water and i was left hold the handel in my hand. I tried to fix it and with no sucess it would not reel. I am going to call this company and give them a piece of my mind do not buy this item it is the worst investment you can ever make. I would not buy this product for 1 dollar you are just going to waist your fishing trip when your pole breaks in 2 minutes.

I too bought this as a birthday/fathers day gift, but i bought 2 sets of them instead of one, all four either broke in half or would not cast. i bought mine back in feb 08 but did not give out until april 08'. I have called the company several times and each time i got outsourced to india and of course it's someone different each time. lets just say i was suppose to get a full refund back in may it's september and in the mail today i received 1 instant fisherman instead of a refund, someone from corporate is suppose to call me at some point, yeh right. I AM TRUELY P. OED!!! this company sucks big time.if memory serves me correct, total cost for 4 crappy instant fisherman poles over $175. [] sells something similar for $19.97 not to mention they take back anything!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I purchased this instant fisherman for several reasons. First, it was for my fathers B-day present and second, I thought that is was really cool product. I was totally wrong. I took this instant fisherman to go cat fishing however, when I cast the line out, my rod and spool area of the reel broke off and flew in to the water. I was unable to retrieve those parts. I was left standing there only the handle. The other instant fisherman were not doing so great either. They would cast however, it would stop casting because the line was getting caught on something inside of the reel compartment. This product really sucks and this is a good lesson for me. I am telling ALL my friends and family and even strangers to not buy this product. This product made me have the worst fishing day of my life.

Terrible product, we bought 2, one wouldnt cast and the other broke in 1/2 the first time we tried to catch a fish with it. Sad that it is difficult to contact the company and they charge you to replace them. Do not purchase this product - you will be sadly disapointed. My kids bought this as a fathers day gift for my husband before we went on a fishing vacation. Needless to say we had to go out and buy more fishing poles in order to fish. Please beware. You will not be happy.

Last year in September my husband asked me to purchase this 2 for 1 plus bag for our twin grandsons, age 15, whose passion is fishing. We surprised them with the poles when they came to visit us in Florida in February of this year. They attempted to use them once and the line kept getting tangled on the reel and it wouldn't work after that. One wouldn't cast at all. Besides that I was charged $40 instead of $20 which was the advertised TV price. What garbage and what a disappointment. We bought new ones at a bait shop which were half the price and twice the quality. Needless to say the 30-day guarantee elapsed before they were even opened. Wish I had checked this site before ordering them. Infomercials are SCAMS...don't waste your money! This is the second expensive lesson for me!

I wish I would have found this site before purchasing this piece of garbage. My husband saw the commercial on tv. He is handicaped and thought that it would be easy for him to use from a wheelchair. He could'nt wait to use it. He cast it twice and the third time it would'nt reel in. We tryed and tryed and it was like the gear was grinding. Do not buy this piece of junk. Wow what a mistake. Now I have the fun of trying to get my money back. Lets hope I can!

I called in after seeing the commercial on TV. I received three rods in the package when it was delivered. They charged me full price for the third one I did nopt order. I called customer service to find out why they send me three rods. They could not explain but offered a $10 discount if I kept it. I was so p'd off I send the whole package back. If you entrust someone with your credit card info does not entitle them to charge whatever the heck they want. The rods I received was not worth $10. All plastic, the reels did not look like you could reel in anything heavier than a paper plate. Be carefull ordering cause they may just try to up their sales number and send you more than what you ordered. If you complain, they will ask to keep it and give you $10 off the additional item. Oh, the shipping they charged for the 3rd rod was $17 compared to $11 for the first two.

Apiece of crap is putting it very nicely. My line stops short of being able to have a full casting. It has come apart and when trying to redo the line it was very hard to put back together and still does not cast properly if at all. I strongly urge that this product be removed from the market ASP.

The old Pocket Fisherman was a piece of crap and this on tops that!! I ordered 4 for the family for Xmas presents. BIG MISTAKE! Just used them for the first time. The first one opened and the plastic mechaism that enables you to extend the rod split into 2 pieces making it unusable. The second rod stopped casting after 4 casts and the line was stuck inside. When tried to pull it the line snapped. These are MAJOR pieces of CRAP!!! Do not waste your money!!!

I bought this rod cause I was going to Florida to fish. Big mistake. I brought it there and while I tested it in my apartment -I let the line extends and then reeled in it. Only problem was... it didn't reel. I ended up renting a rod instead. I had bought two so I used the other to go fishing in a small pond. What a joke, the thing doesn't even cast. You can get a better rod for 9 dollars at walmart that has a picture of scooby doo on it. Total Piece Of you know what. I would've thrown the rod away even if I got it for free. After it wouldn't cast I was so pissed I broke it across my knee. Snapped like a twig. Biggest joke - PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAM!!!!!!!

My grandmother purchased the buy one get one free deal, and there was a free gift for a tackle bag. so my grandmother ordered the 2 poles and they came in the mail. there was no tackle bag. so then i called and told them i wanted the bag, and they said they'd sent it out. well we waited 2-3 never came, called again and they said it was their mistake and they'd send them. so i call today, and the representivies got rude with me, and told me we never ordered the tackle bag, and we'd have to pay $40 more for the tackle bag. . i talked to a supervisor and she said the same thing, so then she hung up on me, after i explained that i had ordered . well i called basck and the supervisor this time told me they never sold us the instant fisherman poles with free bag.. and that i was lying. so i was like i have them in front of me, and he was like screaming at me telling me i was lying. so i hung up. NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT. THEY ARE FALSE ADVERTISERS

When I saw the infomercial, I got caught right up in it and ordered 3 as gifts. One of the three came already broken and another one was very hard to windup after the first cast. Needless to say it hasn't been used since. In terms of the broken one, I sent it back and never received a new one or my money back. I have e-mailed the company and have not received one word back. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

The Instant Fisherman sucks! The only thing I caught was hell. The retrieval grinds and wears your arm out after 2 throws. I have had numerous problems with these rods and do not plan to use them anymore. Do not buy this product!

I saw the commercial for this product, and was so excited. I immediately ordered 2 for my brothers as Christmas presents. I did this 2&1/2weeks in advance, and agreed to pay extra for rush shipping. You would think this would have guaranteed delivery prior to Christmas, WRONG! I have made call after call to customer service, and waited forever to talk to a real person, and even then they barely spoke English. Now I find myself going to Wal-Mart at 6PM on Christmas Eve so that my brothers will have something to unwrap. I might add that this was not the shipping company's fault, but Instant Fisherman's for waiting so long to ship the product. I am cancelling my order, and will spread the word to everyone I know how pathethic this company is. If the way they handle their shipping and customer service is any indication of the quality of the product itself, I am not willing to take that chance. Instant Fisherman buyers beware!

What a rip off! I ordered the two units. The first time I had a chance (after two months)to use them, the unit hangs up about ten to fifteen feet out in the cast and causes the bait and tackle to go flying off. I was appalled at the grinding during the retrieve. I asked for info to return them and they have a strict 30 day return policy. Too bad some of us actually have to work for a living before we get a chance to use the product. It is junk and the "customer service" people are rude and uncaring. I believe the product should be banned from the ads as it is a bogus product. Too much hype, not enough quality and very misleading. I predict the demise of the product because of it's poor quality and the demise of the company unless it changes it's lack of real "customer service". Cheap, cheap, cheap.
