I bought Investools in August 2006. It was expensive ($1,999) with an additional 6 month access to the website for $300 for a total of one year's subscription for $$2,300. After one year of trading using the Investools method and their books and the website and talking to Coaches in Utah (that's where they are headquartered) my losses came to around $12,000. I started with $19,000 and finally quit with only $7,000 remaining. In short, the Investools method didn't work. The Three Green Arrows failed to give reliable buy signals and the Three Red Arrows were indeed signals to get out...well after the stock had already plunged! Stay away from Investools. There are plenty of books and websites that are free or nearly free that you can use to figure out how to make money in the stock market.

I bought this product when I was a beginning investor. I really should have went by the rule, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Unfortunately, I believed the lies of these smooth talking presenters who say they've quite their jobs and are trading full time and doing presentations. I really should have asked for trading confirmation and reports. But that isn't necessary. The fact is, NONE of these stock, options, forex, real estate, etc etc etc programs work, because if they did, the owners would be using the product themselves and not sharing their secrets. I really didn't learn much from this program. I actually learned ten times more just reading investing books. That's the best way to learn about investing. That's what Warren Buffet advises people - to get your hands on as many good investing books as you can. I do forgive these people. What they're doing is unconscienable. However, I forgive these people. There will always be evil in the world. A person has to really be careful with their money because there are thieves everywhere - lawyers, contractors, plumbers, auto mechanics, the list is endless. It's tough to find an honest person in one of those fields. There will always be evil in the world. I forgive Investools. If we forgive, we will also have our sins forgiven too. I hope they stop deceiving people, and hurting people. God bless.

This scam works like this... 1. They get you to a seminar that promises free information on investing. All you get is a sales pitch for their course that cost (I did this in 2005) $3000 and a limited time subscription to a web site. I chose to take the DVD set which I was told was identical to the course. I watched all of the DVDs and used the web site for the period it was free. 2. The course is also a scam, since it teaches you how to use the web site. The site is $600 per year so in a sense, you are paying the $3000 for the privilege of paying the $600 per year. 3. I cancelled after 6 months because I did not want to pay for the web site each month. If I had known I was signing up for a program that required a recurring fee in order to realize its value, I would never have done it. I have the DVD set, but the education is really worth a fraction, at best of what is available for free, unless I want to pay them for the web site. If you are willing to pay for the web site long term, the course would have some value. Otherwise, you are throwing your money away. I feel that they should be up front about the fact that the road to riches they promote for $3000 is a toll road and they are the toll collector. The only way to realize the value pitched in the infomercial is to commit to a long term financial obligation. In that regard, they are no different from other companies who offer subscription based web sites, but unlike these similar companies, they make their money up front and on the subscription. I would be the defection rate is very high.
