What seems to good to to be true, is. After reviewing the material I purchased one late night, I realized I must have been delusional from lack of sleep. A Coach happened to call me because he felt that I was motivated. He was motivated to get my money. And when he realized that pressure sale tactics weren't going to work our conversation came to and abrupt end. Let the buyer beware! It sickens me that companies like this are allowed to operate. My heart goes out to the many people that invested hard earned/bollowed money that was their money not other peoples money. Centennial, CO

After my third session with coach Jim H., I made plans to attend my first Tax Deed Sale in Volusia County, Florida about 300 miles from where I live. I was the high bidder on two lots. I placed one lot, which I paid $5,757.00 up for sale on [] which sold yesterday for $7,199.00. And have someone else interested in the second lot who owns land right next to these. I stand to make much more on these lots which cost $6,400.00 and have this prospective buyer willing to pay $19,500.00! Thanks John Beck and staff! Sincerely, Paul K.

I am a College graduate and should have known better. I too purchased John Beck's Free & Clear Tax Delinquent Properties for pennies on the dollar. I have spent over $8,000.00 on the package which included CD's, a binder and a less than, 8 hours of coaching sessions. After I invested my money, the Mentoring Coach in Utah had enough gut's to state that we are not exactly lying to the prospective buyer; we are just not being truthful to them. And then I was connected with another SCAM company associated with John Beck. The name of the company is [], that handles the business and the taxes for your LLC that needed to be set up. This company charged us over $4,000.00 and $59.95/month, and actually sent all of our personal financial state & federal tax information & SSN to India without disclosing this information to us. I spoke to [], at [], yesterday and he stated that now the company must disclose this information to all of the clients and it is now in the contract. This was NOT on the contract that we signed, and was never disclosed to us. He stated that they didn't have to at the time that we signed the contract. I think that we need to form a class action law sute against both of those companies. I am taking this story to the media nationally. Please contact me if you’re interested in a class action law suite.

My husband purchased this and we just got off the phone with them about joining their team. They wanted $15,000.00. They were very nice and convincing, but we were not going to just give them that kind of money. When we hung up afer telling the director no, he seemed very upset and cut the good-bye's short. Very happy I decided to google his name! We're calling the credit card company now and we may even call the director back and see if he can expain all of these complaints.

I placed an order on Sunday, July 27, 2008 and thought I made a hasty decision, I remember the automated machine said, it will take 48 hours to process my order so I thought then I should be able to cancel without any problems. I called twice on Monday, first the Rep told me my order is not shown on the system so I should call back in a few hours which I did and someone else told me the same thing. I tried for the third time and got an automated message which said I could cancel via email, customerservice@familytvproducts.com, which I did that same day. On Thursday I called to make sure that they had received my email and the rep told me no and did cancel it and gave me a cancellation number. I was going through my statement today online and recognise that they did take the money from my account and now telling me crap that i will have to return the product first because they had already sent it out. I have written to the BBB and is awaiting a positive response, they normally helped in the past.

If this system is so easy to use and anyone can use it then why does he have employees that work customer service and coaches? Wouldn't these people be using this program for themselves and make money hand over fist like the advertising states. I avoid all infomercials for this reason. Do your homework and check multiple websites before investing in something like this. Regardless of the type of investment there is always a chance you could lose it, so if you can't afford to lose the investment then don't do it. Good luck to all of you who are trying to resolve your issue.

I just saw the infomercial and based on what I've learn from the tax sales here in Cook Co., IL I doubt those successful bidders on the show paid only a couple hundred dollars and got a house. On the other hand it may be possible in some other state/county. Here in Cook County you or your attorney have to go through a series of steps while waiting for the 2 year redemption period to expire. You may pay $300 or $400 for the house but have to pay an add'l $5k-$10k for other attorney/filing fees. The amount is not the problem, it's the fact that the money is tied up for 2 years or more. Failure to do so and you could lose the house before you get the deed. It's best to check online for investor groups and see what other investors are doing. Tax/Scavenger sales are not the big thing here in Chicago for novice investors because the process is long and you need to have money you won't miss. Do research on your county's tax sale process before you buy this product. It may or may not be as easy as it sounds.

Okay, I have done all the same things. Ordered the package, didn't think I could buy properties in this county since they only auction them off. and once a year for alot more than John Beck promised. Then, they keep charging me that same $39.95 for the property vault even though I have cancelled my membership (by phone to an automated system). I cancelled the credit card that I used for the system so that they wouldn't charge me any more but now on July 18th they charged me for $39.95 on a different credit card. How did they get that number? Who authorized it? Not me. Oh, they said they will take it off. but how long do I have to keep dealing with these people? I've been trying to get rid of them since Nov. 2007. By the way, I submitted a complaint with the FTC.

I bought this product and was dissatisfied from the begining there are no more $250 to $500 houses outthere and I checked counties all across the country. His informercial is nothing but lies and the people on the program are all stooges.

7/27/2008 - suzi writes:
I also ordered this product, and since then they keep on charging my credit card without my authorization for erroneous charges. I have called these people and keep being told the same thing that no more charges will appear. I just checked today, and sure enough, another charge. These people are complete rip-offs and are just scamming everyone. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!

I was watching the infomercial and ordered the product. I tried to log in the property vault and I can't even log in. So I tried calling the tech support number that they provided but no answer. That same time someone called me and introduced himself as a coach. He was a good salesman. He wanted me to invest $5000 dollars to start so I can start buying properties. So I told him that you are a scam artist. Purchased the product over a year ago and they still keep calling me. So people don't be fooled with john beck free and clear.

JULY 25, 2008 I ORDERED JOHN BECK'S FREE AND CLEAR IN JUNE 2008 ONLY TO FIND AFTER GIVING MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER THAT AUTOMATED SYSTEM ASKED FOR MY APPROVAL FOR $39.95 MONTHLY! THERE WAS NO INDICATION ON THE INFOMERCIAL THAT IT WAS A MONTHLY CHARGE. I EMPHATICALLY SAID, NO WHEN ASKED IF I WANTED TO PAY MONTHLY. I HAVE SINCE RECIEVED A PACKET IN THE MAIL WHICH I IMMEDIATELY RETURNED AND DID NOT OPEN. A STERN LETTER OF DETAIL WAS ENCLOSED. WEEKS LATER MY CREDIT CARD SHOWS A CHARGE WITH A $47.00 CREDIT TO A TOTAL CHARGE OF $61.50. THIS LEFT ME WITH APPROX. A CHARGE OF $14.50. NEITHER OF THESE FIGURES MAKE ANY SENSE. REGARDELESS, I'M FEARFUL THAT FURTHER CHARGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF I DON'T GET MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY INVOLVED. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE APPROX. $6.00 THAT I SPENT SENDING THE PACKAGE BACK. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM.

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM JOHN BECK'S REAL ESTATE! Early Fri. July 4th AM I ordered John Beck's Free and Clear by phone. Bad mistake! They have very unethical business practices! I tried to cancel it using the phone no. the automated system provided, only to be told to call back in two days. I called back on Mon. July 7th and was told my order wasn't in their system yet, to call back on Tues. the 8th. When I called back on the 8th, they said my order was shipped on Monday the 7th! How can that be if it wasn't even in their system on the 7th? I immediately gave my Postal Carrier a note NOT to leave a package from John Beck, Van Nuys, CA at my address, and received a note back from my postal carrier that the package was returned to John Beck on 7/15 as refused. John Beck customer service tells me they cannot credit $64.65 back to my account (it was originally supposed to be $34.95 +$14.95 S&H) since I did not have a tracking no. How can I have a tracking no. when I never received or accepted the package? It has been ten days and John Beck's customer service (1-866-530-7294) says it hasn't received a refused from Woodstock, GA package, so they cannot give me a refund, to call back in a couple of weeks! I'll venture to guess that John Beck's R.E. company will never admit to having received the returned package and I'll never get my money back. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM JOHN BECK'S REAL ESTATE!!!

I saw him on TV and it doesn't make sense. It is foreclosure for a resean, how can the county or city or bank or the previous owner can let it go for few hundrend bucks? I checked this site and it confirmed that it is too good to be true. Like it is said, nobody will sell a gold mine map. Somebody has to start a law suite to put him away.

THIS IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM; this company has been taking $39.95 out of my account every month for several months when they indicated that the total charge was $39.95; it is impossible to find any of the properties they advertise. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION. Thank you, David Stubblebine

First to help some people out there customer service number is 888-461-9029 call immediately. I orderd it yesterday and i got the automated voice it took my information and then gave the wrong customer service number. i did my research and called my credit card company to give them a heads up. they say it will take 2-4 weeks to recieve the info so when i finally got in touch with someone today they said it has already been shipped. I asked then why does it take 2-4 weeks to recieve it. anyway i let him know that i called my cc company and he was like you will get a full refund i said if i get the package i am returning to sender and i will get the post office to verify by signiture and i am taking my camera as proof. if your finacial istitutions don't want to handle the fraudulent charges then go to this website and they will tell you how to get it done.

Like maany others I ordered the product based on the 30 money back guarantee. When I got the product I realized they wanted $39.95 per month, not just the one time payment of $39.95 to try the product. I returned the product via FedX within a day of receiving it. I also sent an email notification to cancel and informing them that I returned their product. Some time later i received a call from one of the reps who asked my why I canceled. I told him "false advertisement" regarding the costs. So I know they received my returned package. However, for the past five 5 months they have been debiting my account for the monthly $39.95 charge. When I call all I get is their answering service. This is a scam
