Briefly, all you get is 5 cd's with the same lame info on it. You could get this from any realtor or government source. I too was charged the property vault fee, even though I cancelled within 30 days. A "mentor" called me and after 10 minutes, confessed that I was "too smart" for the program. Do NOT get caught up in the mentorship program!

I just ordered John Beck's System over the phone with a "computer" voice. Now I find this site explaining about a lot of problems with this company, and now I am very worried. I will say if there is a problem, I can always cancel my card so no further charges can go through. I pray I am Not a victim like the rest.

11/5/2007 - Elizabeth writes:
I bought the CD's several months agao. Have been too busy to try them. My credit card keeps getting billed every month for "property vault" to the tune of $39.95. I have called the credit card company and they have it in dispute. I specifically said I did not want the monthly property vault. These guys are crooks.

11/3/2007 - Josh writes:
Ordered this program and was disappointed with all it came with, few days later a guy calls me from the John Beck program and talks to for an hour and tells me they will use my credit cards to buy propertys with $4300.00. So he transfers me to a woman who goes over everything he just said and she was recording the conversation. So she gets to the part about the money...she says "you agree to pay $4300.00 to pay for coaching sessions?" and I said "No I was told my money would go toward buying property's. She said "No it goes towards our people training you." So I said "Well he told me something totally different so I CANCEL!!!" she got real upset and I hung up. So a few minutes later the man called me back and said "Whats the problem!" I told him and he started yelling and screaming so I hung up...So I started getting worried so I called my credit card company and come to find out even though I CANCELLED they still charged my credit card $4300.00!!! I filed fraudulant charges against them and I'm getting it worked out with my credit card company. John Beck Company will not return my phone calls so I'm going down to the Attorney Generals office to what I can do...If that don't work then I will be getting a lawyer. John Beck and his organization are giving these people that see his infomercial FALSE HOPE!!! When we try to believe it's true and they know you have a little belief and give a hour long speech about started a business and the whole time their really robbing you blind!! Taking all the money off of every credit card you give them...John Beck is a Thief!!!

11/2/2007 - Tyler writes:
I came here to pay it forward...I got sucked in. They maxed out my two credit cards, even overdrafted! There various customer service centers are a joke. I felt depressed and felt like giving up. I talked to my dad (an attorney) and did some research online and talked to my cc companies. They weren't going to go out of their way to help me, so I filed an error billing dispute with all of them. Provided them with receipts, confirmations, names and other info. After 4 weeks of investigating I got a call from a JB rep asking me if I would sign a refund agreement so the matter could be settled between us and the credit card companies wouldn't get involved. I felt bad agreeing to this, because I knew it was bailing JB out from their unethical business model, but I wanted my 8 grand back and I didn't think I would ever get it. So if your looking to get your money back, make sure you got receipts and confirmations from sending materials back. Make sure you include their guarantees, like "if you return the materials you get your money back" and so forth. Goodluck. When you get your money back, help pay it forward....

I was interested in what John Beck said his product could and does do, to make an opportunity to purchase a home for pennies on the dollar. To give hope to a realization that it is almost imposible with housing so expensive , to buy a home in Calilfornia. I Felt that $39.95 was a price that if it did not work out, or measure up to the exciting promisses, that i could live with the initial loss of $39.95 And be proud of myself for gambling with a small ammount ,, for a big dream. When i called the number all was done electronically. no human person, and i was so disappointed after they kept offering in an aggressive way,, more options, and some with a large addition of money which i do not or would never have,
I kept saying NO, AND TRIED TO FOLLOW the directions of the electronic voice.. and i did agree to ten more dollars for that other option. and then i kept saying NO, NO NO, AND THEY KEPT OFFERING MORE,, AT THAT POINT I GOT VERY FRUSTRATED AND I WANTED TO TALK TO A LIVE PERSON TO MAKE SURE THEY KNEW I DID NOT WANT TO GO THRU WITH THIS ARRANGEMENT, AND it was a big dissappointment,, and very pushy. and all i know is i was disconnected somehow and in trying to call back they do not offer any option other than PURCHASE, PURCHASE, ETC Then i went online and looked up John Beck and communnicate this way, They offer no assistance or desire to communiate if it is to cancel.. and they say to call a 800 number for that purpose. I DID CALL THE NUMBER. and waited on hold, for a long time, and then i was disconnected and started again, When i finally spoke to a live person she informed me that i have to wait 24 hours before i can cancel,, and i told her i wanted to make sure they did not debit my bank acct, and that ther was not really an order, i never completed, or had anything confirmed,, and i ask her for a e-mail address for Mr, Beck. The person i spoke with said she was Kristie and game me a number 17334 and was polite, and Kristi said i should call her back in 24 hours. which i did and i spoke to a male who said my order has not gone thru yet, and to try in a few hours,,no other options. I DID CALL LATER AND WAS TOLD BY A MAN NAMED KEVIN,,that it looks like my order was just shipped o ut. and i was terrible upset, and said ther is no order, and this is not what they are supposed to do, In as much as Kevin seemed sympathetic, he checked around and said that the order was and is in shipping ,, and that Lupe who is in charge of shipping, would not remove it from the truck because it was at the bottom on the pallets, or whatever,, I ask him to go find his supervisor and resolve the situation immediately.. and DO NOT DEBIT ME, DO NOT ETC,
Kevin ask who i spoke to the day before, i told lhim Kristie, and he said he did not know her, and i thinnk this is a lie, because her name is mentioned here in your complaints.. The fact that i was feeling beaten down, an d the number Kevin game me was for a supervisor, (I DID ASK HIM FOR THIS) i was given the name Michael and Marsha to contact, I DID CONTACT THEM TO ONLY GET A VOICE MAIL MESSAGE, AND IT WAS FROM OTHER PERSONS,, I DID leave a message with details about my situation and ask the "voices" TO PLEASE MAKE SURE MY MESSAGE WAS DIRECTED TO THE PROPER CHANEL,, I then went online and checked my bannk balance and saw that these frauds, debited my acct 2-times in the amount of $77.00 WHICH i can not afford, and some other of my bills will have insufficient funds. maybe rent check bounce, I am so upset, and i am not finan cially secure,, i am also not deserving this stress,, Well, that is it, and i do not know what to do,,and have no idea what to do next,, my bank Bank of America said i have to settle this with the person that sold me this . and i could not stop payment on a debit, and it was paid, just not posted, I guess i will have to close my bank acct, because there is nothing stoping the greedy, scam artists from deducting more, and keep destroying me. I AM SURE, BY NOW MR, JOHN BECK IS FINANCIALLY SECURE, YET ALL THESE BEHAVIORS JUST reinforce that conclusion that whomever is in the way, on the way, or nearby will be aggressivly consumed, and without a way to guard or protect myself, my life is in fear, stress, and depression.. It is 4:30 a.m. and i can not sleep, and i do not know what to do next. i am very grateful for constructive advice,, and hope i can get some,\ thank you

i purchased this product and had no real compaints unitl now! unlike the people below me i was only charged for what i wanted $55 for the books w/shipping, i signed up for the vault and caneled, no problem.....or so i thought. Now two months later i recieved another charge for $39.95 I have learned nothing that a realestate agent couldn't told me for free! I get called every two weeks or so, by a guy named Adam who wants to mentor me. Let me be very clear so people understand this is not just someone complaining because they didn't read the fine print.... 1)All the information availible in John's system is easily avaible at your local town or state registry,(some online) it may require leg work, but so did Johnny boys system.
2)What John is doing is NOT ILLEGAL, when you pay for the coaching, you are entering into a contract (regardless of the quality of the coach) 3)For the people defending the product, it is obvious they are employees of Johnyboys, you can tell because the never make mention of thier location or thier succsess, in fear that some one will do the digging.

I too ordered these books and cds. I got harassed a few times before the calls stopped. I just got a call a few minutes ago asking me if I wanted to continue with my Vault Services which was free for whatever amount of days they said. If I did not want to continue with the Vault Services to call this number - 1-877-636-3032 Customer Service is open 6am to 6pm Pacific Standard Time. So I called and they refunded me my 40bux. I don't see how that is so difficult. Sure it might be a scam that we all fell for but look on the bright side, I gave you a number you can call. Also if you tried to cancel this service on your credit card and they refuse to, Call your credit card company have a stop payment put on and ask for a charge back.

After watching the informercial on tv one night I decided to call. When I got the kit I looked it over & decided it wasn't for me. I had several phone calls from the company trying to get me to take time to talk with them. I told them clearly that the program wasn't for me but they continued to call. I tried to cancel the program via email but my CC continued to be billed each month. I tried to call their customer service # but all I get is a recording telling me their business hours & to call back then. I have tried at all hours & taking into account that they are on a different time zone as I am but I still get the same recording. I really felt like a sucker until I read the letter on this site & now I know that since they make it sound so wonderful on tv it suck alot of people in. Please help us all!!!!

I ordered the $39.95 and it turned out to be $80.00 when I looked at my credit card. The stuff they sent was nothing more than what they tell you on the commercial. Now I am getting me cards saying that they are going to charge me another $39.95 for the vault property stuff if I don't contact them. I have emailed to cancel anything concerning John Beck's Property Vault Free and Clear Program. Please include me if anything is done about this scam. Thanks!!! Verna Maxine Davis

DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS My fiance and I purchased the 'Free and Clear' Program offered by the John Beck Mentoring of America company back in Feb '06. We were charged almost $3000 for a program which took over a month to finally get to us, which was past the so called money back guarantee time frame. We had 5 coaching sessions which were a joke. Session 1- waste of time with past success stories, so no information was gathered. Session 2- coach didn't even call to inform us he wasn't going to make the specified appt. Session 3- we had to call to find out what happened with our coach. He quit so we were given a new coach who was going to call a week later. Now realize this has been 4 weeks. In Texas the auctions in the county we reside and the surrounding counties happen on the First Tuesday of every month. So during the first 2 weeks of researching all of these tax properties by the time our next session came up the properties had already been auctioned. This happened to us every time. Session 4- was the coach asking us how we were doing and if we had any questions. I told him (Jim Heninger) that we were having trouble with the county offices trying to get the information and he gave us no pointers or information on how to really go about inquiring about the properties. After I told him what had been happening in the last two weeks he advised us that "'oops' it looks like the 30 min is up. I guess we'll talk next week" Session 5- was to be over advertising and marketing the property which we hadn't even purchased because the hotline number they give you always goes to voicemail and it takes weeks to get a call back. So the same thing happens as in week 4. He asks us how things have been going. We tell him our frustrations and once again,"oops, time is up." We do not even get a chance to go over the suppossed 5th session. He tells us to call them with our success story whenever we flip our fist property. We have tried corresponding with John Beck's Mentoring Institute to get a refund because we were highly dissatisfied and still are. By the way, The first coach we were given didn't know anything about how to flip these properties or the proper procedure to actually purchase the properties. Every State and County is different so when I had questions they answered. "ummm, I'm not sure on that one" Wow, that's really walking us through every step of the way. I believe a class action lawsuit is in order on this one!!!! DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS!!! DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS DO NOT BUY JOHN BECK'S PRODUCTS

I bought the 39.95 startup kit which has about as much info as you will get. I was told for additional $12,500. I would get a personal coach. I paid the 12,500 and received the kit. I bailed on the program and the several people I talked to tried to convince me otherwise. Each was nastier than the one before. At this point they are refunding 12,000 and holding 499.00 for enrollment fee BULLS@$T. I foundout that they base the amount on how much you make. I met a realtor who gave me more info than ever and the advise was free. now we buy and flip on a regular basis. I would like to get all of you to email me and we should stand and give them what they deserve. 20/20 would love to do this story. I need support. This email []

There never is a person to deal with. Computerized recordings are a bigtime HOAX. You get into their website, with all the appropriate login names and passwords and then they give you a TEASER of the properties but when you need more accurate information, they direct you to a phone number and that stupid recording again entices you about success stories, NO PERSON on the other end of the line, then the recording says, "GOODBYE". HOAX bigtime.

I was on this website and put in my personnel information. Before I click confirm the order I change my mind. So, I was still charge for the order and received a oackage in the mail. O.K. I got the package no problem but I still didn't want to proceed. Now each month my account is being debited and I can't get in touch with no one to cancel. I called one number and it sent me back to the website. I just want the deductions to stop.
