I bought John Becks Free and Clear Books as well thank goodness<br /> it was a small amount of money compared to what I have read on this sight! I am a sucker I guess because I should of investagated this business before buying. The Better Business Bureau has a report on him and gives John Beck a F on the rating. Anyway, the information in John's books are not accurate as some of the people here say it is. Call your county treasury office and ask them what their regulations are about buying Tax Certificates,or getting in on Tax Auctions.Yes it can be done, but not the way John Beck says it can be done. I was at least smarter on the phone calls they tried to do with me, I refused to talk to them on the phone because they keept saying they were calling to tell me how to use the information they sold me, well isnt that why I bought the stupid books to learn his strategy? So why would I need them to call me and tell me what the books say was my first thought, and just would not talk to them on the phone? Besides if I wanted to talk to them I could call them myself and ask questions, so I just avoided talking to them all together.By the time I realized this was all a bunch of hooo haaaa it was to late for me to get a refund.Do not buy this so called product. Infact do not buy and of these "real estate secrets" it's all a big waiste of money and time, and Lots of frustration!

this is my second complaint. after calling them, they promised me a refund in 3-5 days. nothing. nada. zip. and they have no apparent way to contact them directly other than the 800 number i was given and used -- but that may be in afghanistan for all we know. still out the $100, and getting very, very mad. I am a retired lawyer/judge with lots of time on my hands -- just finished 8 federal prison years. not in a mood to be ignored.

I am very upset with john beck.I have now invested 80.00 dollars into a bunch of nothing. You cannot contact them for a cancellation, and you cannot talk to a person. It is all recordings. YOU WON'T get your money back.

I purchased a CD "Quick Start" and they charged 77.00 to my credit card. It is a waste of money. You don't need the info in the CD to buy the properties. I would like to get my money back; it is a rip-off. Then the next month they charged 39.99 more to my credit card. There was no explanation, no communication from the company; just the 2nd charge. I did not authorize any additional charges. My credit card company said they would dispute it but there is no guarantee that I will ever see the 39.99 again. I had to cancel my card and go to a different company to keep them from charging my card again. I tried to call the company but no answer, I left a message but no return answer. Nothing. Don't even think about doing business with this outfit.

I tried to use the product but to no success and useless time i got nowhere. now i have been trying to return the product and well, it only took me a few minutes to do so. i called the customer service i got through to them and they told me exactly what to do. i will see if it really works. i cut out the bottom left corner of my packing invoice paper that came on the box because that is the return label and we will see how this works. just call customer service and dial 1350 extension and it will take you to a lady named Lori. she helped me with the return.

I also bought the package, and had a rep call me, I told him I was not interested. Decided to keep the information because it wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back, I have been charged the 39.95 also twice and that was not explained to me, I have also waited on hold for days and even hours on end, no answer. I am mad, my credit card company is trying to help me with this.

This kit has only basic infornation and most of the contact numbers are out of date. Great idea...but John Beck's material only wets your whistle. Sorry I ordered the material.

I had saw the informercial and order john beck free and clear. i had call them and left a message saying I want to discontinue the vault, i have recieve no call. it is very hard to contact them. i'm not using the product i do not want to be charged. I'm not wealthy, i don't see why someone can rip other people off, with there hard working money. the informercial showed people made thousands with only couple hundred, but they said i need at least 10,000 in the bank. i just don't want to be changed for something that is useless like john beck's words.

I have not had the chance to try it. I called customer service with a concern of all the add on's and the supervisor got offensive with me. I told him I was concern when a magazine company called to confirm my order and I told her there should never have been a order. I had declined everything but the 39.95. Just the information to give this a try. I was told to call back Friday. So let's see hung up on by the customer service agent, talked down to and offensive to by a supervisor, I can't wait to see if I am tired better on Friday morning. And it did take me starting my calls to them at 6 PST I got through to them at 4:10 PST. If this was the customer service I will be dealing with I will send it all back. I can't wait to let everyone know how this turns out. I am a trusting person so I am willing to see how honest of a person John Beck is. For the ones he has working on his behalf so far has been a nightmare to work with.

I have been trying to get credit on my card for almost 5 months. Each month my account is charged another 39.95. I have tried to contact someone from this organization since the day I received the system in the mail. All I want is to get off this train wreck of a system and get my money refunded.

I too was a fool and bought the package from the infomercial. A few months passed when I discovered that my credit card was being charged monthly $39.95. Thankfully I used American Express and they are on the case for me! What a scam!!

They had an automatic calling system that contacted me. i asked for info only. they sent nothing, but i have had three unauthorized debits of $40. I called 818-464-1650 and spoke with kristie, who said three debits would be credited back to my account in 3-5 days; and i had to report a fraud to the card company. we'll see...

I bought the initial "Free & Clear system from John Beck approximately 6 months ago. There are many reasons why I am extremely TICKED OFF at these JERKS!!! First, when the product arrived, I saw that I had been billed for the overnight shipping. I figured that was no big deal, and that I would discuss that with my potential "property purchasing coach". LOL, LOL, LOL!!!!! Anyhow, I went ahead with "step one" which was to call a particular phone # to get set up with a "personal coach". I and my husband spent 2 hours getting the biggest B.S. sales pitch of our lives! When I say this guy was a good sales man I am NOT KIDDING!! Wow, I thought I could "smell a rat" from a mile away, but this guy was a MASTER SCAM and CON ARTIST!!! He convinced us that if we would give him 14,000 dollars, he would guarantee that we would get it back after doing 2 deals! Additionally, he promised that we would meet Mr Beck personally at a Las Vegas meeting. Well, to make a long story short, just as my husband was getting his credit card out, something told me I should check him out on the Internet, so I quickly ran to my office and found this forum! I immediately ran into the living room and yelled to my husband, "HANG UP THE PHONE!! IT'S A SCAM!!!" We were very relieved that we didn't pay the $14,000. We thought that the "nightmare" was now over,... and then suddenly I noticed a charge of $39.95 on my credit card bill. I called a cust. service number to cancel and AGAIN the next month a $39.95 charge! I was FURIOUS!! I called again and they said they would reverse the charges. They sent an email confirming that, too! Furthermore, they stated in the email that they would NOT bill my account again! However, this all initially started in February, 2007, and I got ANOTHER $39.95 charge on my June 2007 statement. Please SOMEONE tell us all how to file a class action suit for the UNAUTHORIZED charges we are all reporting!

I was watching the John Beck Free and Clear informercial and thought it would be a good investment. When I received the information, I was extremely disappointed. It wasn't what I'd expected. At any rate I tossed the stuff to the side. Today, 6/20/07, I received a phone call from Carl. He said that Mr. Beck wanted him to follow up with me. he said that my name came up to be on the next success team, working 5 to 10 hours per week. He said that I'd be a success story for the upcoming infomercial. He began asking me some questions and I had to cut him off because I was at work and asked him to call me back around 7:00pm. My cell phone rang at 6:56pm. The conversation started off the same way the initial conversation started. I should have known then, that since he didn't exhibit listening skills, there was a problem. During the conversation, he told me that he needed to do an interview, qualification process, to get me approved for the program. He never said anything about the fact that I'd have to pay an exhorbitantly high amount of money to be a success story for the next infomercial. Once this interview was completed, he said that he was going to transfer me to the Sr. Director of Real Estate Education, Joseph Peterson, and gave me a long list of very impressive credentials. When talking to Joseph, he did say that the call was being recorded. He gave a very impressive rendition of his and John Beck's qualifications. I listened as he talked. He told me that the people on his team were making anywhere from $5000 to $25000 a week using this program. He said that he'd been working with John Beck for 30 years. He told me all about the headquarters, the number of employees, the 44 real estate coaches that deal with new members on a one-on-one basis. He told me that the program would allow me to work in 7500 counties throughout the country, and I'd be able to invest in raw land, residential properties, and commercial properties (after I'd made purchases off of the raw land deals. He told me all about the ebay real estate sight where they list properties for either auction or purchase. He had a realy good sales pitch. And he told me that my tuition, to be able to take advantage of this investment opportunity, could be in the form of a 5 week program for $3900 (which is where all of his people start) or a 10 week program for $7500. He explained that I'd have 30 minute sessions for the first 2 weeks of the 5 week program, then increase to an hour during the 3rd week. He was really convincing. He talked about integrity, honesty, being a man of his word, being a Christian, and just seemed to be really down to earth. When he had me to agree to the 5 week program and then asked if I were going to pay the tuition on one or two credit cards, I should have known something wasn't right. He even asked me for the APR on my credit card, and told me that I'd be able to pay the charges with my first purchase, before the cycle ended and the bill. The only reason that I didn't get suckered into purchasing right then and there, was because I don't carry my credit cards with me. I am so glad that I decided to go online to conduct a little research. He's supposed to be calling me tomorrow to get my credit card information to pay$3900, so I can get started making between $5000 and $25000 a week. I was really excited about finally being able to get out of the rat race. But after reading these horror stories, I'm glad that I was only charged the $39 initial purchase. I'll have to check my credit card statement for any unauthorized charges. I really do wish that I'd scene this website before I purchased that worthless information. But I'm going to take the advice of the person that said "don't answer the phone". The word really needs to get out about this guy. He's getting rich by taking advantage of people. He really needs to be stopped. I'm glad I saw this website before I paid $3900.

I initially ordered this product 4 years ago and ended up disputing it with my credit card. The 30 day money back guarantee is crap. you're better off looking up the "HUD" houses for auction in your area. also, i looked up "John Beck" on wikipedia, and came up with an actor that frequently played a businessman. maybe a coincidence?

bought it off the infomercial.got sucked into the extra phone coaching for 2500 dollars I was told the phone coaching would have me making money in no time, what i wasn't told was that i would recieve a meager 4 half hour coaching sessions with a guy who basically gave me websites that were useless but i still tried to use the stuff i learned to get this whole program started...zero success...4 session 2500 bucks that averages out to 625 dollars per half hour..high class hookers don't make that much money. its all BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had found this website before purchasing the John Beck Free and Clear products. I bought it for my husband who was trying to break into the real estate business. Most of the information was unclear and many of the websites did not work. After it was all said and done they kept calling and trying to get me to put an additional $10,499 on my credit card for an extended service or $14,999 to work directly with John Beck and film an infomercial. I am planning to contact an attorney and see if we have the option of filing a class action lawsuit against these scam artists!

what a scam this is !!!! through phone calls they talked my son into sending them $4000 yes $4000 for their assistance in this program. they talked him into authorizing a $4000 charge on his credit card. unfortunately they prey on the people who are most desperate and can least afford any more debts. this is a disgrace that these people get away with this in this country

This product is a total scam! I bought the useless info for $40 and immediately realized it was a scam. I should have gone on this site before believing those myths. To this day I have not been refunded any monies, And I get calls from "mentors" wanting $7500 to sign me up for 10 sessions with an expierienced investor! This is a ridiculous scam and the guy john beck is probably rich off of charging millions $40 a month + scamming them into paying him thousands!
