This infomercial is a scam. I did not know about it until I saw a clipping of news about one of 3 lawsuits being filed. Luckily I only lost $39, but after further investigation and finding Ripoff.com, found out there were a whole bunch more people having been scammed out of anywhere from $1500-$15,000 based on your individual credit availability. If you have been taken for more than $39.95, there is recousre despite what you may be told on the phone, if anyone answers at all. Do a google search on John Beck scam. With due dilligence, you are going to find out how to get ALL of your money back. There are people out there willing to help. Don't just roll over and say 'oh well'. This is your hard earned money they have taken and there is hope.

I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to make some money for my kids college education. I started getting suspicious once I gave them my account info and they wanted to sell me additional services and material to "boost my success" it was difficult to not authorize additional charges to my account.I waived express shipping(another rip off)got it 3wks later and realized I only had 1wk left on my "free" membership in the "Property Vault" I went to cancel the monthly fees same story came to this site and immediatly called my credit card company to not authorize any more payments to this THIEF.I'm not even going to try to return it.I'll think of it as a $54.45 fine for being stupid. Or I'll donate it to FOX undercover news!!! and if not stop the scam at least expose it.

Hello I also ordered J. becks course and the info was not useful. It contained public info and no instruction on how to use it. I then called my personal advisor who was trying to get me to invest more money, instead of helping me get started, as the infomersial says they woud do. The advisor was telling me if I paid about 1500.00 i would be getting a good deal on the program and he would help me. When I explained to him that if I pay that sum of money to learn something I usually would be certified and if he could not do this I would not pay anymore money for the program. He treid to insult me by saying I did not want to make money and all that. After that did not work he stopped calling. LOL. After that they tried to charge my credit card another 39.95 the next month anyway. But through the luck or unluck of god I did not have any money in the acct I used. So all they could do was say that my bank declined them and they have not bothered me anymore. I guess they tried about two months and when they saw my act was dry they gave up. I have put money into that acct and no more charges. If you cant cancel put your money into a new acct and after they see you do not have any money for them to take they do not waste anymore of thier time trying to charge you LOL. So I may be a good story because they only charged me the 39.95 and could not charge my asst anymore. I will now use gift card if I decide to invest in anymore infomecials. Melvin

Cancelled course and the cancel persons "slammed" me back onto the billing roles. This is a corrupt practice and needs to be reported to your attourney general of your state and the attourney general of California on each occurrance. I am in contact with the Treasury Dept. on this and am reporting it as a theft by wire case. I reccommend you do the same.

Ripped off and laughed at by "Debbie" manager of Mentoring. All the problems reported here about Jonh Beck are true. I found a lawyer experienced with these frauds, had to get his mother's money back the hard way. He will do a class action, take them to court at no charge to us. Beck will drag it out, and it will take as long as they can delay action before they pay up, but at least we will get our money AND save other people, as I can get local television news coverage that usually gets passed to sindicated news when it as compelling as this. I could have killed my husband when I looked at our bank statement to find out there was a $73.95 charge to John Beck Free & Clear. I immediately called and asked him "WHAT DID YOU DO?" He then goes to explain that he order some tapes that were only to cost him $39.95. I have tried to call these scam artists to return this junk and get refunded some of the monies maybe, especially shipping and handling because to my surprise they charged and extra $14.00 for rush delivery. I called them and finally after about 25 minutes of hold time, I did get a representative on the line to try and cancel this order and get my monies credited back to my account prior to the order arriving. He informed me not to refuse the package or return to sender, but to call back when I did receive the order and they would give me an address to have it shipped back to them. I then tried to pull up their website on the computer and got this website instead, to see that more than my husband have been scamed. Is there any stopping these folks. I would glady take whatever measures to end their reign of terror on innocent fools (meaning my husband).

I have the same problem cancelling this damn thing. I have been being charged fo this shit for 5 months. All of the phone calls saying that I was personally chosen by John Beck...Bullshit! I have found the little blue paper in the kit to stop the property vault membership. i tried the e-mail address that they gave an it comes back as not able to be delivered. I also tried to call and cancel and I left a voice mail. I ended up getting signed up again somehow. I finally got that postcard in the mail with the website to cancel www.JohnBeckCancel.com. I went to it and there was a site there so I did the stuff to cancel. hopefully it works this time!

WHAT A SCAM! How could the government not monitor a bogus, horrible scam like this? I keep trying to get my money back, and no luck. STAY AWAY from JOHN BECK.
I was taken by John Beck too! The $40 per month they keep charging you after your original purchase is very shady! They say there was a blue piece of paper (buried in the materials) that indicated you needed to "Opt Out" of the recurring monthly charges. I called the customer service number and spoke to three different people...an unnamed service rep, Caesar and then Steven. I say we have a letter writing and calling campaign to complain to their CEO (who Steven would only identify as Michael O). Here's the contact information for the company (which by the way uses the corporate name of "Family Products"):7030 Havenhurst Ave Van Nuys , CA - 91406 818 464-1600 or 888-461-9029

I to have been a victim of John Beck's free and clear Bull.... I am very upset about the events that have taken place. I did not realize that so many people were in the same situation as I. I am a college student who was just trying to make an honest buck and I'm about to get married. I realized that they have been taking out 39.95 out of my account for over 10 months. The only thing that I thought I was going to be charged for was shipping and handling. He is a liar and a thief. I WILL take further action to see that this matter is cleared up and my money that they stole from me is returned. It's really sad that you can't trust ANYONE nowadays! This is some real bull....!!!!!!!!! Rhagan

Yes! John Beck is a fucking scam artist. How about I ordered the free and clear kit for 39.99 and went to the property vault and didn't find anything of fucking importance. Don't buy this scam!!!
I talked to a representative at corporate office...actually I talked to 3 reps. The turn over at the office is so high that each time I called my representative's extention, I got a new person. But thats not the shocking part. Do you know that those bastards wanted me to shell them out another $6,500 dollars. Yes $6,500..they actually said that the normal price to join this so called gold club is $15,000. When the man asked for my credit card number to charge the $6,500 I quickly changed the subject and asked for him to let me call him back. Oh my god, what a scam. You can buy and sell houses with out John Beck or any other scam artist. Just look for real estate auctions in your area by using google. Hundreds of affordale properties exists!!!!

I purchased john becks free and clear product on 2/1/07, $64.45 was withdrawn from account and I was billed again on 3/19/07 where $39.95 was withdrawn. I received no result from mr. becks product I wonder when he'll try to charge me again for something that was suppose to be free aside from shipping and handling.

4/4/07 I too have been taken over by John Becks Free and Clear realestate system. After reading all the many complaints I just had to enter mine. I too received the pressure phone calls, on a daily basis. I also told this gentleman that I had not yet gotten the information, after days of the calls, I suddenly received the package, and he never called again. I tried the # that he had given to me and was not able to make a connection. I finally checked out the information in the one booklet, and it was then that I knew I was scammed. Every time I entered the e-mail addresses, I was taken to a bogus site that gave me none of the info. promised I too have tried to cancel. Couldn't find the site I was told to go to. I sent an e-mail to John Beck.com and Bcc'd myself. I will have to notify my Credit Union tomorrow.
