My husband and I purchased the CD for $49.95. Since then we have been charged 2 months for the $39.95 monthly fee. I have tried for a week to cancel this service through the phone numbers they gave us and through the email address with no success. The email does not go through. When you call any of the numbers you sit on hold continuously. On another complaint noted about these infomercials they had instructions to cancel. I did what it said and I got a property vault cancellation notice in return. Now I will wait for the credit card bill to see if it cancelled. The instructions were:
type www.johnbeckcancel.com./JohnBecksPropertyVaultCancelhtm. Then at the bottom of the screen after it talks about canceling click on the submit button and fill out form and submit. Hopefully this works.

I am reading all of these complaints about Beck's system, and for the most part they are all true. The product really is garbage and not worth what he charges. And yes my credit card was billed more than once, but I was able to get it cleared up no problem and no hassles. With this said there is some valuable information in between all the useless filler stuff he puts in, you just have to look for it. What he doesn't tell you is that sales of tax liens, especially here in NJ, is extremely competitive. In fact unless you are a seasoned veteran, or owkr with someone who is, you will want to stay away. There are many other avenues to make money in real estate. This means is too time consuming and too much of a headache.

I ordered the John Beck free and clear system and was very disappointed with the information I received. To make matters worse I recently checked my email and found out they are charging me another $39.95 for something I never ordered or even authorized. This program is truly a scam. The information we received is not usable and not worth the paper it is printed on. I am calling my credit card company and placing a hold on any charges from this company. I tried to cancel my membership which I didnt even agree to and cannot even get to the website.
I ordered the John Beck Free and Clear in November 2007 and of course they tried to sell me many other items to which I responded in the negative and they charged me the $64.00 for the CDs I received which does not give you much info. Recently I received a card in the mail about J.Peterson in Utah making thousands of dollars and that they will be charging me $39.95 for what I do not know. I haven't ordered anything else from John Beck's Free and Clear. I came to this site in an attempt to cancel any further charges that may show up, after reading all these complaints I have called my Credit Card Company to advise them that I am not accepting any charges from this company, only to find out that they have already charged my account another $39.95 for what I do not know, since I have not ordered anything, this amount has now been placed in dispute. I am glad I came to this site.

I Purchased the John Beck software to review the claims made by John Beck on his infomercial. I found that much of the data on the CD's was dated and totally useless. I only purchased the software and did not request any further follow up on their part and did not sign up to a monthly charge. While getting ready for taxes this year, I reviewed my American Express expenditures and found that I was being charged $39.95 each month since I purchased the software. This charge was not authorized but my wife did not question the billing. I tried several times to contact the billing department at John Beck’s through the phone number on my billing statement. I could only get the recorded message and no one would ever answer the phone. I tried sending emails to the email address that was recommended on the phone recording but these emails were all kicked back to me. Finally I called my credit card company and filed a fraud charge. My credit card company could only credit back the last three months of billing so it appears that this company has stolen $400.00 or so from me that may not be recoverable. You certainly take on a risk when you give these guys your credit card information. Maybe it's my fault for not checking my statements but since I did not authorize any further charges I didn't expect to be taken advantage of. Buyers beware. Doug

Please understand I do not want property in some far off States that I will never visit. That is what you get. Also trying to cancel John Beck...well the website does not exist.

This memo is to info John Beck Free & Clear, LLC to stop the harrassment. Do not charge my credit card another cent. I request reimbursement to my credit card before I take legal action. I have received post cards with invalid info. In the interim you charge my credit card an obscene amount for a post card with few words & no real info. This is the largest Scam I have experienced. Stop the Harrassment Immediately.

I registered for their free trial (30 days) of real estate information,I then agreed to pay $39.95 if I liked the program. Idid notlike the program and caciled same within the thirty day period. Beck's company billed my credit card for $72.44. I called three numbers( 800-410-5712 ,800-550-4728 and 888-461-9029 at the last number I contacted a emploee who agreeded to remove me from their list of customers and to refund all charges against me,I then requested that they remove my card number from their files, she refused to do so and i told her that it was illegal to hold my card number without my consent, she then advised me that they could retain and use same for customer ID,Ithen told I was no longer a customer and was contacting our state attorney for their violation of my rights|| I have now recied a card advising me that they billing me for their services again.

I purchased the program and decided not to pursue it. I cancelled at the number provided. To my surprise I received a postcard in the mail telling me that I had to cancel again at a website. If I didn't my charge card would be charged again. I believe that it is unethical to send a junk postcard that can easily be missed in the torrents of junk mail received daily. I certainly hope this is the end of this problem. If not you will hear from me again.

i had ordered the john beck free and clear product and ever since i received it i have been trying desperately to contact them but was unable to reach them. i have gone to all their websites and contact them in all their phone numbers and cannot reach them. some of the phone numbers i have called kept me on hold for up to 45 minutes and others just keep ringing without anyone picking it up. i went online and do a search on google to try to find a reliable phone numbers and came up to this website which had numerous complaints about the program and all of them have one thing in common and that is the program is a scam. so that is why i am filling a complaint

I purchased the books that they advertise. These books are as useless as a flat tire on a bent rim. When they called me to "Invest" $5000, which pay for my personal coaches expeneses and other materials... something didnt seems right, then they offerd me a "scholarship", where i could get in for only 2500....wow an even better deal. After that didnt work, they resorted to insults, questioned my intelligence and all that. Then I realized that these were nothing more than tele marketers trying to make a sale. As soon as I hung up I called my credit card company and yold them what happened and that no purchases from this company "except those lousy freakin books" were allowed and thankfully they noted it and no more charges were allowed. Its a bunch of crap. Its been two years since I bought those books, and every so often they still call me to see if I want to be successful. Successful at getting screwed is more like it. The conversation always ends up in an arguement and I smile hoping I gave then just a fraction of the grief they have givn out over the years. These people do not care about you or your situation. High pressure sales...the now or never tactic.... is a clear sign of "somethings up". If its sounds to good... it always is. I'm calling my local newspaper and Senator to se if someone can do something about this misleading pile of balogna. I was hoping tomake an honest buck with the program, instead they made a dishonest con.

This Property Vault is of no use to anyone in Mich, unless you simply want to buy unpaid tax properties, and then I don't know if that is even valid, I was not interested in obtaining unpaid property and have to wait years for default. I was interested in a list of properties up for immediate sale, as was the pitch on the infomercial. Trying to cancel the Vault has been unsuccessfull for over 5 months and I am at my wits end to know how to cancel other than cancelling my credit card that I have been billed to. Isn't that sad. I hope John Beck can live with himself. God does not like UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris

They give you no information that is any more legitimate than just contacting your local trustee's office and getting the information from them. You will also be changed $39.94 a month until you call them to cancel. When you go to order it for the first time they put you in a loop of ordering 20 other products that they do not give you any option to say no too. You have to guess at what key to press to say no you do not want to be billed another $40 dollars for this or $20 dollars for that. You are scared to hang up because they already have your account number. No one should ever purchase this product. We should form a class action suit for the misleading information you get when you go to sign up. The monthly fees can be blamed on our own ignorance, but they say they sent me a card monthly. Yeah right. Sure they did. They bill you and don't tell you. If it is your primary account you are watching it, but if it is something you don't use they just drain your money and don't tell you.

I tried the John Beck Property Vault Program and found it to be a total scam.I don't know how anyone can just be billed for services they don't want. When you try to contact them the site brings you everywhere but what you want.I finally got to talk to someone that called me trying to sell me more stuff when I told him that I did not want anymore stuff and to please don't charge my card $39.95 anymore he agreed. I thought that it was finally over but to my SURPRIZE I just received a postcard stating Don't trow your property vault membership away! J.Peterson in Utah is making thousands of dollars a month using the Property Vault bla bla bla bla bla. Here is the punch line You are about to be billed for these incredible services only $39.95 they are a $250.00value! Yea right. People what can we do? if we tried this we would be in jail. Then the card continues with If you really want to quit going after your financial dreams go to www.JohnBeckCancel.com when you do, to remind them of your cancelation, it brings you right back to products for sale. Can we sue for harassment?.

my husband bought the product and since then we have been receiving monthly charges that we were NOT informed of beforehand. i have since called to cancel and get a refund. they did refund the money, however, they keep posting charges to my account! now i have received "the postcard" and have had the same problems as the rest of you. tell you friends to beware!

John Beck's Mentor program took $2,200.00 and when I tried to get the money back they closed the office and opened up a new office and did not have any of my information, I contacted the BBB (2002) they said here was nothing they can do. John Beck ripped me off; and he is still doing it. I see year after year here, and people who want to learn something to make a better life for themselves and there family, but, what I learned and what some of the people have learned is john beck get you money and you get the bills with interest. He took $2,200.00 I am still paying for it today 03-09-07. I did everything I could to get my money back, but after they found out how much credit I had and they needed to charge that much at a great deal to me (go figure) I did not have the money to go to Utah to file a complaint with the court system. By the way it took three credit cards to be come dead broke. after all it's OPM's, other peoples money after all. still paying. I hope the John Beck group of ______ get what is coming to them.

In response to a John Beck infomercial I ordered the materials in November of 2006 at a cost of $54.45. In evaluating the material, it was apparent the data was public information readily available from the county. Subsequent to obtaining the material I have recieved several phone calls from representatives trying to entice me to "invest" in John Beck programs. One called the Property Vault. Since November, my credit card has been billed $39.95 each month, for what I do not know as I ordered no further materials from John Beck. In an attempt to get this matter resolved I have called John Beck Company on numerous times only to be put on hold lor transferred to other people who put me on hold. I called the cedit card people and asked the charges to be removed and have sent in the necessary forms to pursue this....
