John Beck Mentoring ripped us off to the tune of $5600.00. Of course their first asking price was $10.000. When we backed out of that they counter offered for $5600.00. It took us over a month to get our first coaching session. The first coach had to cancel because he had personal problems.Well don't we all? The second coach was just dumb he told us things that the average citizen would already know. Here is the kicker before our first session someone from the Tax Club had already called wanting us to pay them over $1000.00 plus a monthly fee for them to do our taxes on our new "business". We were given web sites to go to where we could find properties for sell for taxes owed. All dead ends. At the begining we were told we would make our initial investment back in 60 days. Not true. We were told we would be doing a transaction a month. Also not true. After all this, we sent an e mail asking to be refunded and that we would return all merchandise we received. No response to the e mail .We had a coaching session for the next night and did not receive a call. So a new coach called us the next night and we told him no we wanted out. He was very nice and refered us to Customer Service. Now the lady we got in customer service was another story. Her name was Mandy and if all there employees are like her I can see why the business failed. Right away she was on the defense. She said I will not sit and let you call my company a scam. My husband nor I had not even breathed the word scam to her. It must have been pretty familiar to her though. She told us we could not be refunded but we could start our classes over. We refused again she told us we could not be refunded and that she would let us talk to a manager when we said yes we would like talk to a manager she really started to give the run around. She told us she was management and did not have a superior. We told her unless she was president she had a superior. She then told us she could not just get a manager on the phone that she would relay the info and have him call us back. But that it could take from 3 to 5 days. In addition, we feel like we were very pressured into this. We ordered the package from the infomerical and were contacted the very same day that we received the packages by a sales person who insisted we had to decide now. These classes were going so fast that we could not wait. They also told us not to talk to anyone else about our business venture because people would respond negatively. I think they were afraid we would find out they were a scam before we gave them a credit card number. Of course they did not make a price on the classes until after they found out how many credit cards we have and what the limits on them were. That should have been our first red flag. But we always believe in taking someone at their word. We learned a very value lesson. Never trust sales people and do NOT respond to infomercials. If anyone is starting a class action lawsuit please contact us.

I want to say thank you to all who have reported this scam. I too ordered this system and someone called me and she was rude and digging a bit too deep into my personal financial business. I told her it was none of her business and she got mad and hung up! Thank you whoever you were! I will not go any further with this program and suggest that no one else do es either!!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!

Read this if you are interested in giving any money away to the mentoring program associated with John Beck's name. And please know I have never given a review before, nor been scammed before- so I not one of those people who just gets on these sites and says malicious things just to be malicious. So here goes. Well one late night in March while escaping reality I watched John Beck's infomercial and thought what the heck- I will just see, what's 50 bucks. I'd love to be a real estate mogul!!! I ordered the cheap book package, which I ordered to be sent in book form but low & behold it was sent in CD Roms- not what I ordered. Some how the charge ended up being $97.84. ????? Anyway, Eleven days later I received a phone call from a representative for Free & Clear who said he was just calling to check up on things to see if I got it. Very nice personable guy. Heck, I'd hire him for my sales team....He asked me if I had looked through the information, and then when I said not yet he seemed overjoyed. Next he said that most people who buy the program aren't serious about it because they're not winners...he told me that in order for John Beck's program to be successful, they have to keep having fresh success stories on the infomercials, but that it is hard to do it when most people won't make the extra effort to go out there and be self motivated winners. He said that part of his job was to identify candidates who had what it takes to be success stories for infomercials to help them along more quickly. I asked him if he had tried the program and he said he was just starting it himself. Anyway, he said that it was a special privilege to be identified for a special winning infomercial team, and that if I was really serious about it he could put in a good word for me- but first there would need to be a few questions answered. He asked me my income, marital status, current debt, current credit cards, and how much money I had in the bank. I don't have any credit cards, but I did use a bank card and had over 10,000 in there, but now I have less...we can get into that later. He said that he would put in a good word for me and that if I met the criteria, he would schedule an appointment for me to speak with a coach. So he set the appointment up for the next day and like clockwork the person called. We spoke for over 30 minutes and first he verified all banking information that the first caller had given him. Next, he said, now I want you to write this down... And he went through his sales pitch: We want to create a success story. Real Estate is never going to go away. John Beck made $450 million dollars in the last 17 years doing this, and he is the leading tax lien attny out there & that states actually consult him when writing their tax lien laws. He told me that with this program I could make $3000-30,000 within a month. He said that in order for him to enroll in this program, I would need to make him some promises, but in turn he would guarantee me that there were no hidden surprises. "Failure is not an option"..."You are the X-factor"..He tossed out words like property bank and land vault with satellite images and said that tax deeds have a 2-4 week redemption period with a turn around of 24 hours to 30 days. He said that the average return on preforeclosure /foreclosure properties is $29,000, and that I could make that if I would spend 5-10 hours per week buying properties for pennies on the dollar, investing out of pocket $30.00-$300.00 per property. He said that I could do it all from my house as 99% of the business is over the phone & the internet. He also said that his team didnt make any profit off of the properties I would buy. He said that in order to do this you need knowledge, and that you can either get it from the school of hard knocks or from the school of applied knowledge. Faith & trust he explained were the 1st two principles to action- he asked me do I have those to learn from the experienced coaches? He then asked me what causes fear. He said it is caused by fear of the unknown and that you need to have the attribute of courage in order to win. Next he said that at age 65, approx.. 95% of Americans will retire with a net worth of less than $39,000. Money. He said it takes money to make money. He said it would need a short term $ investment (30-60 days) to get a return on investment. He said that this investment is for me to go out there with all the knowledge that I would have gained from his experts and use it to succeed. Next he mentioned that there are certain tax shelters and that there are up to 27 legal tax deductions that would save me at least $10,000-15,000 each year on my tax returns to put me in the 5-10% instead of 31% bracket. He gave me a number. He said write this down: $10,585. Then on with the sales pitch. He said that they offer a warranty of service. He said the goal was to do as many deals as possible which the coaches would guide me through and that in the next 6-10 weeks if I had not made my first deal that they would continue working with me for a full year at no extra charge. Then he checked in with a question and wanted me to tell him why I thought that was an outstanding offer. He also said that if I did the course I would have to sign a form stating that I would not share any proprietary info. with anyone (little did I know that all of this info is public record). Next he said to write this down: in 3 months $25,000-50,000. in 6 months $50,000-100,000 1st year $ 100,000-250,000 He claimed that is ideally how much I should make if I do this the way my coaches tell me to. He again reassured me that this is real. He gave me coaching staff hours and he talked about a critical care stage of 30-40 minutes of coaching gaining education/knowledge in the weekly sessions. He said I could call the coaching hotline anytime during office hours over the next 6 months. Next he asked me what I was doing on two weekend days in the summer. He said mark that down in your calendar. That is reserved for you to have one on one coaching time with John Beck in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget casino, but keep in mind that the airfare and hotel room charges are on your own & you will be responsible for them and that I would need to enroll for the class at least 30 days prior. He kept saying that they will make me an M5 investor, which means in 5-7 years my net worth would be 5-7 million dollars in real estate. He then said how important it is to learn from the experts so I could have a supplemental nest egg. He said now in order for me to accept you on my team you have to promise me that 1) You'll do the work 2) You will be open-minded the entire 6 months but that they'd never tell you to do anything illegal, unethical, or immoral and 3) Promise you won't quit - my a** is on the line here so you have to be successful or I get in trouble with my supervisors. He said the whole key is continuing your education. He also said that this was completely legitimate. He put me on hold after asking me to think about what my personal goals would be 3,6, 12 months down the road. When he came back he asked me what they were and then told me that congratulations I had been accepted into his team. He just needed my bank card info with exp date and special code on the back so that he could get everything set up to charge my account - I was under the impression that the charge would post after I had signed the contract that they said they'd be sending to me. He also said that remember there is nothing misleading about this- you will have three days to resend. He congratulated me again, gave me over to his secretary who recorded my address & bank data & made me answer yes or no questions and specified that I speak yes or no clearly rather than using words like yeah or nah. Even the secretary kept congratulating me on joining the team. After that recording session, he got back on the phone & told me that he would not be my coach but that another guy would be my coach and would be calling me in the next few days to schedule appt.s . He said kick up your feet, have a nice glass of wine, and congratulate yourself- you just made a life decision. He also then stated that he had run 3000.00 on my card but because it was a bank card I probably had daily bank limits so I would need to call my bank first thing tomorrow morning, authorize the future charges for over $7000.00 , and then give him a call back when I had done that. After getting off of the phone,I felt a little weird at that point that he had already charged my debit card and began to have severe anxiety. Moments later, while doing some online banking, I noticed that indeed a charge for $3000.00 was marked as pending and that another $2000.00 had been attempted. At that point, I began freaking out. I googled John Beck looking for a little reassurance that I was about to make a good investment (keep in mind I had not signed anything or received any services yet), and instead I found hundreds of complaints about real estate scams, and especially about this one with the mentoring program. Now this was where the utter panic set in. I read on site after site where people had lost 1200, 3000, 10,000, 15,000 by giving it away to these guys over the phone. I got sicker by the minute. Why in the world did I give them my bank card info!!! And How could I have been so eager to do so after only 30 or so minutes? They're good sales people I will tell you that! I kept praying to God that I needed help and asked what to do. I began thinking about what that money could have done to help the church or people in need- not a big company like this with an F score from the Better Business Bureau! I decided that instead of investing in this business which was sketchy that I should put the money to better use. Luckily, I thought, there would at least be that 3 day money back resend period. But, after reading more posts, it sounds like people don't get their money back. The next $7000.00+ they were planning on taking out of my account would have wiped out my savings- and to think all for a possible scam- which even though they claim you can get your money back, no proof existed that it was something they would do without legal action. Therefore, the very next day at 6 am I called my bank, who said that they would cancel my bank card to avoid any future transactions and would send me an affidavit in the mail to make a claim on the $3000.00 that they have already taken and the bank representative said they would be able to get it back with legal action if necessary. In the meanwhile, the day that I cancelled my bank card, I was too busy at work and called the John Beck rep I had been working with and left a message in the afternoon when I had some time...they all have caller ID so nobody picks up the phone around there...he called back within five minutes obviously pissed off and said- I have been calling you all day. I don't understand what happened! Your bank card said it's inactive/stolen. And now you left me a message saying you want to give money to your church? What are you having buyer's remorse? I happily explained that I am not interested in the program, it has been less than 24 hours since I talked with him so that is within the 3 day period. He asked what changed "all of a sudden" and why was my card inactive. I said that nothing changed all of a sudden, what was all of a sudden was that in 30 minutes he had access to my bank account debit card and that after thinking about it overnight I would rather spend the money somewhere else. He kept on asking me, what is your real concern here? I said I am not concerend but I want a refund and do not wish to join this program. I stated that from what I understood it is hard to get your money back after it has been debited so therefore I made the remaining funds inaccessible. He then yelled at me that what I was telling him "didn't add up". It was like I was talking to a scorn lover. Finally I got him to say that he would cancel. And then he hung up on me. Next, I called the customer service number they gave me 800-266-5664 and said that I had decided not to join the program and that I wanted my money back and the girl on the the other end said okay mam I will send that info on to the proper authorities. Is that all? I asked her first did she need any additional info from me, and she said like what. I stated, like my name for example, and she told me my name so they must have caller ID. I asked for a name of those proper authorities she was speaking of and she was obviously irate and said that she didn't have that information. I asked her for her name and she gave me her first name. I asked her if there was a fax number for billing where I could send a letter to make sure I was refunded my money and she said rudely that there was no such fax line. I asked her for a form that I could fill out to make sure that they knew my request for a refund and she said that there was no such form. I asked her what those proper authorities were going to do once they received that information form her, and she said that they would be calling me in the next 24 hours to discuss the situation. That to me says that there is no intention of giving me my money back- we shall see. Therefore, I am going to see if they call, and now I have no money because I don't have any checks and I don't have a bank card & my bank is not in my town so I am broke for the next two weeks and out $3000.00. I will return and post positively if I do receive a refund. In the meantime, however, I will follow the bank's instructions with the affidavit. The reason I am posting this is to say thanks to those who have posted previously who gave insight to me about not getting refunds so that I could take necessary precautions keep the damage to 30% instead of 100% of my savings. I must say also that I was extremely upset that the quote that was given to me was based on my current liquid assets and that the figures are so different for different people. Wow am I glad I said I don't want the mentor program & wanted a refund before I actually started with it and signed anything. ...now to get the $3000.00 back.

I ordered the Free and Clear kit (30 day free trial) on Jan 15,2006 off a tv infomercial that I happened to see upon wakening in the wee hours of the morning. As a rule, I wouldn't have even thought of getting involved, but my two older boys were going to be moving out and that left my daughter, ten, and I living on my $542/mo SSI and what part-time money I could bring in. I had to do something. I didn't realize it would be to he tune of $8500 and much heartache. I received the kit on Jan. 24th. On the first of Feb. (1 week into my free trial period)I received a call from Tiffany McMillan, National Director of their Success Team. After interviewing me on the phone, she said she thought I would be a great candidate for their team, going on to tell me about a get together coming up in late March in Hawaii at which she would like to meet me since I sounded so charming and had such family-oriented goals. When we got to the heart of the matter and I asked the cost of the program, first she wanted to check out my resources--which I told her were limited and I was reluctant to use them. After getting my info, she quoted the program cost as $6500. I was ready to end the conversation there. However, she was willing to "work with me." In the end, she split the cost between two cards and left me $300 on each "to buy your first property." Little did I know! In that same conversation, I spoke with Ms. McMillan's sec., Summer, who gave me three different phone numbers (that I could never get through on) and reitterated that I had 3 days to recind my order! My 30 day free trial of the kit would not even be up at that time. My first caoching session was scheduled for 2-6-06 at 10:am (only a few weeks into the so called 30 day free trial period.) I was also given several small assignments to complete before my first session. The most important of these was to sign and return the Enrollment Confirmation and the Roadmap to Success within 24 hrs. of receiving them. All of this attention to how quickly things needed to be done should have set off the alarms, but didn't. During this time, my father had arrived from WY for a 2 mo. visit. He was very negative about the whole thing but I wanted to give it a chance. In order to avoid conflicting attitudes, I rushed to do what I had to do, trusting that others did indeed have my best interest at heart. Also the first week in Feb., my daughter had a few very uncharacteristic bouts with depression and I had to take care of her needs. I reported this all to my coach, Derek the first time I spoke with him on 2-06-06. I told him I felt that this was not the right time and field for me. I told him I was new to real estate and not exactly an expert on the computer. He told me I was doing fine and to just keep working at it. On 2-14-06 I was contacted by The Tax Club, who said they were affiliates of John Beck, and it would be to my benefit to sign on with them so I could stay out of trouble with the IRS. When I asked Derek about it, he said that was who he had used and he would recommend them. The cost of a basic membership was $518.99, with a $49.95 annual renewal fee. I definitely didn't have the time to set up my business the way I was being told was necessary. However, it was rapidly becoming clear that the OPM (Other People's Money) they kept referring to was mine, plus interest! The Tax Club scheduled me for 5 wkly phone appointments. During which I was told to get a Promisory note drawn up ($99) and invest in the bookkeeping system they recommended for $199.99, with $14.95 monthly upgrades. By that time I had had it, and at least I didn't spend money on those. when my father's visit ended, my daughter was out of school for Spring Break week--the feasibility of running a business at home was on the low side. When Derek called, I was once again sitting in front of the computer, doing Due Diligence research on properties listed on the i-net. As I would sit there trying to teach myself from the book and computer, I felt like I was falling into a hole. I had even bought a magnifier to help me read all the maps. This time he started in on me and how he had notes for weeks of how I had done nothing. If that was true, why was the rest of my life suffering? I had epileptic seizures over the stress of all this.I told him that if I had had the time to research this business during my "3 days", I never would have gotten involved in the first place. He was 98% sure I would not get any money back, after all, if I didn't get it in 10 sessions, they said they would work with me up to a year. The fact of the matter is, my family and I deserve more than for me to be spinning my wheels a year from now. When I asked him for advice in certain matters , he would give it, and then later say,"You didn't need that. It was your choice to get it." He knew my situation and why I was asking originally. His answers and emails were as general and vague as the materials. Getting things to work on the sites you went to was hit and miss also. Bottom line is, Dear John, picking up the phone back in January was, as you said, one of the biggest decisions I'll ever make. And I regret making it. I now have found an organized, methodical answer to my issue. When I finish here I plan to take the actions listed in this site by many of the others of you who also got burned.Thank you. A Class Action Suit definitely sounds like the way to go.

I saw the John Becks infomercial on April 2005 and I decided to try it after all it was only $49.95. A couple of weeks after I received the package and an while later one of his agent called me telling that I had to pay $8,000 for some kind of couching sections. According to the agent in order for me to be able to start making business I needed this couching assistance by one of their agents. In my case he was Cory Carlson, who was suppose to help me during three moth and from who I just received around 10 calls repeating me the same things over and over. On the last call he told that I had to buy my first property because I had all the information that he gave me, which believe was not enough, and I did bought the property for $1, 464. He also told me that I could call him whenever I needed help, however that was the last time that I heard about John Beck representatives and Cory Carlson specifically. I had called many times and sent emails but nobody answer me back. I end losing more than $10,000 for nothing. What an easy way to steal money! They also told me that I needed to be a member of some tax club and that I had to pay $1,518 for it. They insisted that if the paper work of my business( they wanted me open a corporation which cost an extra $1,298) was done in Nevada I will have to pay less than if I do it in NJ. I was not sure of doing what they were telling me to, but they kept all calling me and urging me to do something about it. I was really confused and after all they had told me that this tax club membership was like a security that all my invested money was going to be return when I have my 2005 income taxes filled. So I fall again in the scam and paid $649 guess what, it was also a lie. Now this people from the tax club are asking me for more money by next month, $649 to complete the corporation paper work but they are also asking me for an extra $49.95 per month to keep the corporation going on and like this were not enough $9.95 per month for the tax club membership. If I do not receive any notice from their side I will be taking further measurements. I am trying to figure out how to get out of all this mess specially with the big debt that I got into for being like so many people out who really what to succeed and make the error of believing in people like John Beck. I would like to know who can help me with this be issue. Where can I go and who can I talk to? Meanwhile I just make sure that anyone who read this will be alert of the big scam that represents this free and clear business.

First my husband ordered the $49.95 packet from the tv infomercial and paid the "rush shipping" extra money and of course was NOT rushed. Well, after a few weeks it came. THEN came the "California Call" on our caller ID. It was a man named Henry from John Beck calling to tell my husband what a success he could be with their mentoring with his John Beck information. I was so skeptical with my husband being on the phone with this man for like 2 hours, my husband is 28 and they said they had to interview him and make sure he was the quality individual they needed for this business and that they NEVER take anyone his age. Right!! They told him they wanted him for a Las Vegas conference and to be in their infomercial, then kept pressing and pressing my husband to tell him how much credit we have on our credit cards...he really didn't know and I wasn't about to tell him, but Brice Coefield was the guy my husband was talking to by then for over an hour and guessed our credit around 5 thousand or so and told my husband for the LOW price of $5410 he could have all this coaching over the phone, they would review sales and help him with paperwork and all that pertained to making a success out of my husband. They also said that they would give him 60 days to turn his first property AND if he did this then the $5410 would be waived, but they did need our credit card at the time of the phone call. I was sick when my husband wanted the card, but he was so excited and sucked into this really feeling like it was a good deal. These assholes are sooo good and convincing, they actually believe what they are telling you. Brice Coefield had my husband so pumped up and ready to do this. Then they needed me on the phone to see if I was "on board" with the program and Henry was back on the line and it sounded like he was being told what to say through an earpiece or something and he sounded foreign. Well, needless to say, the next morning I called my credit card company to check my balance because I felt sick about it, and Brice Coefield did NOT tell my husband that he was charging us right away and would you know it that $5410 was charged to my credit card. Those bastards! It's a good thing they didn't know that I had much much more credit than that on my card. So we did get by a little bit. I got on the computer and typed in John Beck Fraud and found all of these stories on infomercial scams and rip-off report. I was so sick. We called and cancelled our credit card and instantly filed a dispute. We called within the 3 day window that Brice told us we had to cancel and when my husband got a hold of Brice he was IRATE that he was cancelling and told my husband he would be a failure. We didn't tell him we knew it was a scam, just told him we changed plans. He hung up on us saying we would have our credit in 10 days. Then the rest of the night our phone rang every 15 minutes with that same "California Call". He never gave us our credit, but luckily my credit card company rocks, they do not make you responsible for fraudulent charges even when you willingly gave the merchant your credit number. I got my credit back this past week and this happened in January. PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALIFORNIA CALLS ON YOUR CALLER ID!! They are those mentoring bastards, they change their extensions, don't answer their voicemails, and the receptionists Keelie and Ruby are retards and very rude. When you call for your credit they tell you that you have to call Utah for your credit, their office is there they tell you. Then you call Utah and they have NO idea who to send you to for your credit. They send you person to person and each person says that someone else takes care of it. WHAT A FREAKING SCAM! Luckily we got out of this with only losing the $49.95 from the main product order, but for those of you losing thousands of dollars, please please keep trying to get your money back and get this company stopped!!!!! John Beck will get his eventually.

We were so lucky, last night we almost got duped for thousands! My husband had seen John Beck's infrocommercial last July, he pulled up the website the next day and noticed they had misspelled a word and e-mailed them telling it didn't look professional, and since he helped them out maybe they could send him a free package. They did and several nights ago (8 months later)we recieved a call from Donna who was really checking us out to see if we might want to be a new prodigy for an infrocommercial. They set up an interview for the next night, Raphel Hernandez called and of course my hubby had done his homework about what kind of goals he had for 3 months, 6 months, and a year. He wanted us both on the phone...to make a long story short he had us on the phone for 2 hours! He was trying to get $4360.00 out of us but finally negotiated for $3000. Luckily we only use 1 credit card and it's a small limit, we had several others that we had never activated, so I was to get on a cellphone and activate them. It said right on them it had to be from a home phone so we got him off the phone and went out to dinner!! The key facters here were 1. Had to do right now! 2. Negotiated price! After reading this sight I wanted to put forth this scheme for viewers, keep your money and tell them to go fish! If they call back again and I have time I will waste as much of their time as possible just for laughs!!!

I would have to agree half of the people on here. JOHN BECK IS A SCAM. Please be aware of him. He tried to get $12,500.00 from us via credit cards. He charged credit cards that they said were not accessible or they were maxed out. We just so happened to check those credit cards that they said were not accessible or were maxed out. These are Fraudulent Charges, we did not OK for him to put the $12,000 on all of our cards, only 3. The total that they tried to charge us for was $15,500. Which we did not agree to on the phone. We even asked the Directors secretary to verify which charges were on what account. She said, again, only verified 3 out of the 5 that we gave him. PLEASE CHECK ALL ACCOUNTS THAT YOU GIVE THEM. How many are up for a class action lawsuit.???

First of all, the information that is sent to you is useless. It is stuff you already know or it just confuses you. The scam of no money down is not as good as it seems. All they want is access to your credit cards, they don't really care about the real estate or the people. And if you notice each individual that has written a complaint, has a different dollar amount that they lost. Why is it that we all don't pay the same amount for the same program????? It is all based on your credit and how much of it you have. But I do give credit to John Beck he is a smart mother fucker!!I hope he gets whats coming to him. They use high pressure sales and get people scrambling to find all their credit cards to come up with amount that is needed. In my case, It was $12,000 after the fact I check my credit card balances and attempted to charge me $15,000. I am in the process of changing all my credit card numbers, and frezzing my accounts to keep his dirty cock sucking hands of my hard earned money. DO NOT ATTEMPT to buy anything from John Beck.

I ordered the product for 63.95 and then was informes that my boyfriend had ordered the same product, I sent my product back within a week of receiving and hve not received my refund. I have called daily for 7 days and can not get thru. The The support manager that the gave me stated that I need to get a credit card to use for the start up in the john beck program, then why does the commercials state "buy a home with no money down"

We contacted John Beck to place an order. We were told that we were ordering a "Foreclosure List". John Beck employees now insist they do not sell these but, that is what the representative said we were ordering. They now try to tell us we must have called the wrong number and are confused or "lying" (without using the actual words). This company is still running the commercial on nationwide TV with the same phone number for the same Foreclosure list. We placed an order for $49.95 plus shipping. We were billed $104.95. After repeated conversations with the company we found out that this included a monthly membership for $39.95 that we didn't order. This was never mentioned until we insisted on the details of the invoice. We had spoken with a superviser named Michael earlier that had conveniently left out this fact. This was even after we had asked just what we had been cahrged for. The invoice reads the membership is $7.99, nothing about per month. The invoice total read only $77.95 for the entire product. We refused shipment and sent the item back. Now John Beck will not refund all of the money. They insist that the shipping and handling will not be refunded. Per John Beck, it may take them several weeks to process this. I wonder what that will do to the 30 day return policy? This is a good scam. Send people things they do not order. Add things to the order and give them a confusing inaccurate invoice so they can not tell what you have sent. No matter what they ask for, tell them its what they want and then hope they either don't return it on time or not at all. Then if they do you just keep the shipping and handling. This could add up if you just send people things they do not order. There is a difference in invoice and the amount charged of $27.00. John Beck states they will not refund $20.45 for handling. Where is the rest? Think of the money these companies make. Promise them anything, send them our product and hope they are too slow or too stupid to return it. The memberhsip alone over a one year period would be $479.88. John Beck's employees have been rude, cut us off, called us lairs and hung up on us when we call and disagree with them. Although we were angry when we called, we were not rude or called them names. We did insist that they had sent us something we did not order and wanted a full refund.

I order the John Beck program in Dec. 2005 and reviewed the information which was so simple, repetitive, and uninformative. None of the CDs worked in my new PC, CD, DVD players. I do not think that the program was worth $40.00. I returned it and got my money back. But for the last 3 months I have been harrassed by the coaching department which are very rude. I have called so many different phone numbers trying to get my cell number off their calling list without success. I think that the program is a waste of money and perhaps a scam.

I ordered John Beck's Free & Clear only to find that It was a scam. I tried to notify his company because I was given several phony website for properties in my area that did not exist. He should be sued for every dime he has earned off of people who only wanted to better their quality of life.

I ordered the free and clear system like many others the informercial reeled me in. After I received the system I received a call from a rep of the company interviewinge for a position w/i the John Beck system. After a series of questions she stated that I seem to be a good candidate for the company. Her supervisor would call me back at a certain time to continue the interview. The supervisor calls me back very nice lady, she told me the process and how I would have a mentor but w/i 30 days of paying this $10K I would receive my $$ back by just following the system - guaranteed. They also offered me a scholarship that would be applied and I would only back $8K. I thought how could I go wrong if they are going to guarantee me this money back. I agreeded to this at first but right before I gave her my credit card information, her response was that we will have to record this conversation and that I am not promising you anything - that caught my attention. Throughout the conversation the rep guaranteed me success if I would follow the mentor and pay the money - now she just glides over the fact after our conversation was to be recorded that she did not guarantee me anything. I told her that I changed my mind - this nice lady turned and became irrate - I was in shock... After reading this message board I am very glad that they did not get anymore money out of me that the $54.95 - which is still too much in my book. If one analyzes how much they get per person Mr. Beck is making lots and lots of dollars.

i also am a victim of this scam lucky me i only had a little money in my account when i purchased it. im a firm believer that you dont fuck with my money without my permission. for all of those who got scammed i have a plan. lets start a class action suite between us. between the gross amount of money and the number of states involved mr beck and crew will be in a lot of trouble. because its more than one person its bigger then what can be solved in small claims for each individual case. and as a group we all would say in a loud and clear voice to him we aint gonna take it and get out of business today! if anyone else feels this way lets get an attourney and burst his bubble right away because the longer he gets away with it the more people get screwed. and a class action suite will get you back something after the attourney fees and something is better then nothing anyways

i also got in on this scam of big money on tax liens certificates. but unlike the others i have a resolution to the problem. if everyone that got scammed on this productbanded together in a class action suite mr beck and crew would be in some real trouble. because its is all who have been screwed it would not be settleable in small claims . because its all over the states it wouldnt be in just one state. so lets band together as one voice and say your out of business today!. im ready to join a class action suite now to give him his just deserts

I used to work for Mentoring of America/ John Beck for Years. I quit because so many people have been ripped off by both companies. Fist off if you are thinking about investing in real estate don't invest in program like these. You are promised to make you money back in 30 days and that is not going to happen if you are buying land ar 2,000 with a profit margin of 200-500 bucks per property! If you invested 2k-15k which they charge even if you sell property on the high end it will take well over 20 property flips even to get back 10k! If you ever try to get your money back it is going to be impossible unless you seek leagal action! Also land banc property is a joke they will promise doubling your money and if you research your avenues to resell you will find out these properties are the worst out there and you can't sell them! so now not only zare you 10k in the hole with the course you now invested maybe 2k in some property that you can't sell and now are stuck paying taxes on it. My advise is to not mess around with this program!!!!!! And that is from someone that worked there. If you have complaints emailhbrazil@mentoringofamerica.com, these next two run the land bancnheaps@mentoringofamerica.com,eyates@mentoringofamerica.comthey are all scum bags!

This message is written in regards to another unfortunate customer not receiving the stated product after sending in the amount of $54.45 including shipping and handling charges. Each time I tried to contact them by phone there was no connection. It is a shame to con millions of Americans out of their hard earned money. Most infomercials are legititmate so I never dreamed that this particular one would be a scam. Sincerely yours, Renee
