I ordered John Beck's Free & Clear system on a Monday and recieved it by Thursday. Only 3 days for delivery, but that was the only good thing. I tried to access some of the websites provided and they are not functional. I got duped into agreeing to pay $4000 for a website to sell Real Estate from, as a "student" of John Beck's. Right after agreeing to pay the $4000 I found this site. I am glad I did. $2800 already got processed onto my credit cards but I froze my bank account and saved the other $1200. I am now trying to get my money back from the credit cards, I doubt I will be able to get a hold of John Beck's company. I will have to file a dispute with my credit card companies...I already changed the credit card account numbers so they can make no more charges. Why is the FBI doing nothing? I am mad as hell!!!

I want tell you that the customer service department is less than cooperative when one wants to cancel an order. In a moment of weakness, I ordered John Beck's package on real estate. The next day, when I realized that I did not want the order, I called the customer service department. I was told that I was not in the computer as yet and that if I called back the next day I could cancel. I called today and was told that because my credit card had already been charged, the order could not be cancelled. Although I called within 3 business days to cancel. My card should not have been charged until those 3 business days were past. I find this to be a deceptive practice. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told they were all in a meeting. That is a very tranparent lie. I now must wait until I recieve the packet and pay to have it returned. I think this is a scam, nothing more and intend to report this to the Better Business Bureau.

I just ordered the John Beck kit on I believe it was tuesday, 10/14/03....they have charged my card....which is a debit card....my fiance and i were discussing it further, at first we thought this is great, we could make a little extra money....i've called FED EX, and they said the package was in transit and is scheduled for Tuesday delivery 10/21/03. So I guess I am actually going to get the package. I tried to call customer service because after reading all of your stories, i decided i should try to cancel before i even get it....no dice...tried 2 different numbers and get the same exact recording...you press 2 for customer service, and a voice says, "I'll transfer you"...you hear ringing 2 times, and the same exact recording you heard first after dialing comes on again. I can see already this is going to be a problem. I am going to my bank tomorrow morning and reporting it as fraud, disputing the charge and changing my bank accounts. If i don't there is a chance they may try to withdraw more money from my account, and then I will be living on the streets in a box...can't let that happen!!! I think that all of us should get together and FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY....they are listed with the better business bureau, and so far they've had some complaints....we should complain too.....Hope more people read this before deciding to buy. As for you all that have posted, my sympathies.

I am currently trying to get my money back from John Beck thru their marketing arm MSI Marketing Solutions Int'l in the amount of $5,410.00.Moses Miller and Justin Lund sold me a totally false claim as to what is required and what i stand to gain from their program. I have tried to refund immediately but was declined. I kept calling them back and people there agreed i was fraudulently misled, like the coaches Randy Merchant, Ron Owens, customer supports Amber Allen & Jodie. Everytime i call back the people i spoke to was either terminated or has resigned from the company. I'm pursuing to file complaints to the Better Business Bureau.I would also recommend 2003 Consumer Action Handbook from GSA Federal Citizen Information Center. They have all the appropriate agencies that could help.

On 9-11-03 around 9.00 oclock at night, I receieved a phone call from a guy name michael white, he told me, he work for the John Beck free and clear, and gave me is phone number This guy Mike White, was a great disappointment to me. He did not treat me in a proffessional manner. he was very pushy, rude and a mean person on the phone with me. He was demanding that i work with him on this advertising plan with him. I did explained to mike, that i did not view any of the vhs tapes yet, because all the information was not sent to me. also I asked mike, who would pay for this type of advertising plan, mike said, i would pay for it. I told him No Way! and then mike go on sayin "you would not like to make 20,000 a year," I said not with my money. he called me a jerk and hung up the phone on me, I do not understand why your company let this type of action to continue this will damage your good repulation, in all honesty i cannot see people being treated like this it is not right.

The only truth about this is that John Beck got our money free and clear . That basturd laughed all the way to the bank.I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing that he took the last 60.00 some people had, hopeing to make a lot of money but getting nothing in return. Just remember John easy come easy go. One day and I hope it is real soon someone will take you for the scam of your life.

I am semi-retired and a victim of corporate greed called "downsizing." My loving wife saw Beck's Infomercial and ordered his product, without telling me. Upon delivery I searched the WWW and read what many of your readers had complained. Upon examination of his product, I discovered that the quality and organization were indeed poor, as some of your readers had also complained. The tape lost video half way through and there was no outline, other than a "read me first" document, which immediately got you hooked up with another sales person. Having some logic, I figured that Beck's course was about purchasing real estate through different types of tax sales. However, before I could verify what he had written about Florida's laws was accurate, one of his sales persons phoned me. It was easy to recognize that he was pre-qualifying me for another sale. He desperately wanted to know my credit card limits. I provided information to him and asked for more time to examine his product. If the product was good, I wanted it. However, another person name "Zac" phoned me later. I indicated again that I needed more time. He was very courteous, at the time. I researched Florida's tax sales and discovered that there were things that Beck did not mention and that the bidding process had been as low as = percent. You also had to wait a minimum of two years to apply for a foreclosure to get your money back, and there were hidden costs he did not mentioned. My wife and I decided to keep the product in fairness to Beck, but did not want to purchase anything else, especially give "Zac" 4200 "bucks." "Zac" phoned again and became indignant when I declined to purchase training through my credit card at a minimum of $4200. I told him that I might look into the foreclosures, but didn't see parting with my money so easily. He complained that their coaching was garanteed. But, getting a refund via a credit card is "BS." He knows it, and so do I. Why do I need a $4200 coach? Nonetheless, he got so nasty and insulting, I hug up the phone. Now, my wife wants her 60 "bucks" back.

I have to apologize to all.. I DID NOT!! get caught by this scam by Mr. John Beck. I live in NYC and I was at the Dept. of finance(Handles Parking Tickets and Real Estate) and asked about the Tax Lein sale. I was notified that New York ONLY sells the Tax Leins to 3 corporations and no one else would even be considered. Also, finding out about the forclosure auctions. It seems that only the Mega Rich can afford to buy one. But, Mr. Beck is a disease that needs to be innoculated and unfortunately there are only a few honest individuals left in this evil time.

Woah be unto thee who orders that "30 Days Trial Offer". Informercial runs in the early morning hours, you're tired or half asleep when you call to order and the lovely sales rep on the line grabs all your personal info and makes sure to get the credit card information BEFORE they will take your order! Then they proceed to start offering this and that either for "FREE" or for an additional $1 to view for 30 days. They ,however, neglect to tell you those "FREE" and "$1" items are going to cost you in addition to the course you ordered after the 30 days. And they let you know you will be "billed" in 30 days. To most that means a paper billing sent, but they will bill to the credit card without telling you "WHEN" it will be billed, SURPRISE! Also you wil not get an invoice in that package UNLESS you are a "test customer" for them and then they will put an invoice in the package! Also you will start getting calls from other companies, "DING" you have been sold to others, since AMS is a marketing company! Also later on they will call offering you other services form AMS aka Carlton, even if you say NO, a lot of times, that greedy sales rep on the other end of the line will send it out to you and on those "aftermarket" items you are billed in FULL when it ships, oh,,but they say you have 30 days to review it! And don't try to cancel an order you just placed, you can't. for 24-48 hours you are lost in the "system" until they get the trial offer charge taken, then when that happens the company DOES NOT ALLOW A CANCELLATION OF SHIPMENT! It's their stand that they want the "customer" to be able to grab the actual "free" items from the box then you the "customer" has to pay to ship it back! Even if you refuse delivery from UPS or PO, you WILL NOT be refunded the trial offer charge of either 9.95 or 10.95. Nice little scam huh? Also as soon as you get that package call in find out HOW MUCH they! will charge you "IF" you keep it for good and WHEN your EVALUATION time is up too! THe only way this company will back down is if threatened by attorney and lawsuit and if BB steps in and if you threaten a chargeback to your credit card, they cannot afford these threats! BEWARE!!

I received the material Jan 31st 04(guess i got lucky on that)and checked it out. I even checked some of the web sites listed, seemed ok. I got a call from John Cook 1-877-7047-6346 ext. 4224 on Feb 5th 04. He wanted to "qualify" me for being a potential canadate to work with John Beck as a success story to promote their product. He asked about how much i had to invest, $4,000-$8,000 was a conservative investment and i could use O.P.M (other peoples money)ie a credit card. Well I told him that I would have to check and see what I could do. Today is Feb 10th and had planned on calling him back. Curosity got the beeter of me and decided to do some more checking, well i found all these complaints and now I will definitly Not be ca! lling back, nor will i be answering their calls. I consider myself fortunate not to have lost any more money.

I purchased the program back in November 2002. I was told If I pay a much larger amount I will get 1 years worth of consulting with a RE professional who will help us and walk us through our first deal within 3 - 6 months. I was also told that John Beck wanted to partner with us on deals. We were given this website Real Estate Lending Network thata would make funds available to the students of John Beck for their real estate deals. I accessed the site and input the required information and no one ever got back to me. When I compained to customer service I was given another web site "Yes Lender" where I spoke to a Shawn Rowbotham at 1-801-975-9334 and this guy is just as slippery as the rest of them, after my first conversation with him he has never returned my calls. When you send Yes Lender customer service an email they never even open it up. This one as well never gets any lenders to contact you. This whole program is a massive scam. I would be willing to join any class action lawsuit against these guys, they have taken my business for thousands.

I sent off for the John Beck reality course which promises not to ask you for 2 or 3 Thousand dollars but after I recieved it they kept calling me. they promised to give me a personal coach if I could show that I had two thousand and five hundred dollars in my visa account and if they could just verify they said they wanted to set me up in one of their Info commericals. By law they were to give me a three day cancellation which they never did but their commerical it gives me a thirty day I recieved no contracts but they took the money out of my account. I was told that I would meet the coach but they later they told me I couldn't meet him because they were affraid some one would hurt him. nothing was as they told it would happen and everything had to happen over the phone. I talked to a realitor and She told me it was a scam and they had many unfavorable complaints through the BBB she gave me copies. I asked for my money back and was refused.

Ordered the product and it took 3 weeks to get to me. I then received a phone call from a man named Nathan Hall within 2 days of receiving my package. This man told me all about how they only pick "special" people for their team to work with for the purposes of concentrating on a few individuals who get all the inside information (not sent with the package I guess)and special techniques, secret information, etc... that they can't give to everyone because they don't want to saturate the market. He told me that these special individuals get private coaching and aggressively work with the person to make sure they make at least $50-100 thousand the first year. Within 30 days of working with coach you are guaranteed to make 3-5thousand dollars. You learn all about using "OPM" other people's money (at this point I am thinking, "Yeah, like mine, I'll bet). These special people are used in the new infomercials for their success stories. I just kept listening and once in a while I told him, yes, I am special, I am smart, I work hard. Eventually, as I knew he would, Nathan Hall asked how many credit cards I have, and what brand they are, what my limits are and how much I have available on each. He asked how much money I could lay my hands on, because when properties are found, that the money was needed to put down fast, just in order to secure the property and then flip it in 30 days, that the money was just to "buy us some time" (for what? I am wondering; and I noticed that the OPM, other people's money, was suddenly MY money). I told the guy I was maxed out, that I was 20,000 in debt and that I ordered the program to make money, not spend a whole lot more. He hastened to assure me that it would only be temporary and that not many people got this offer because they didn't have enough coaches to work with all the people that bought the product. I am thinking the whole time, if the coaches can guarantee me to make 3-5thousand a month, why aren't they making it themselves so they don't have to use my money? I smelled a scam as soon as he began asking me how much money I could lay my hands on. The material they sent is pathetic. The "Read Me First" letter states that if you are a natural born sales person, our start-up Specialist can help you design a system especialy for you and your market. (I thought I was buying the system from them with this package) Notice how you have to be a natural born sales person. The material smacks of illiteracy - "Also the start up specialist job is two fold: #1 - The start up specialist will complete a profile of where you are at now (in my hometown, fool, right where you mailed me the package), and assist yo in developing a plan to achieve your financial goals. #2. To see if you qualify to work with one of John Beck's coaches on a one on one basis. Now to qualify for the success team, we need 3 important things 1. Time investment of 5-10 hours per week 2. Financial investment. There are coaches, we will show you how the investment is *Tax Deductible * You'll see a fantastic return on your investment *Little or no money will come out of your pocket! How the hell do you make a finanacial investment with little or no money coming out of your pocket? 3. Knowledge - we will supply that to you. What you have to supply us with is to be: *Open-Minded (is this a sex show now?) * Teachable (Am I supposed to be a dog now? ) *Decision maker. This ad is empty of any real information; just full of sentences that don't say anything, poorly structured grammatically, don't make sense, obviously just a scam. I am cancelling my credit cards after this posting as I am worried after seeing all the stories about money weaseled out of people and no one on the other end of the bogus numbers given, no calls returned, no web sites as advertised, etc.. The part I liked best about this Read Me First Letter is the patronizing Second Step to Success - Write down your goals. If you don't set goals to strive for, it will be very difficult to succeed. Again, your start-up specailist can help you with this step. DUHHHHHH! Imagine that, the second thing to do in order to succeed in my life is to write down my goals. I think I am going to go out and buy a whole lot of pens!!!! Who knew it could be this easy. I am going to report this also to the Fraud squad of the OPP and the RCMP - provincial police and federal police respectively in Canada. I am totally embarrassed that I ever ordered this package. It is just garbage and a scam to take money away from innocent and naive trusting people. Don't part with any more money people and ignore any get rich quick schemes. The only people who get rich quick are the ones who can tell lots of fast lies and then run like hell when they get your money. By the way Nathan Hall told me I could reach him at 1-800-820-8642 Maybe if some of you call it you can ask for your money back. I posted this on 2/4/2004, so they have been at this for a long time. Report them. and hide your credit cards - better yet change them.

To everyone who might be interested in ordering John Beck's Free and Clear real estate system, I would strongly suggest you not. This is clearly a scam and I don't care who or how many people tell me otherwise. I have been scammed by this unscrupulous company. Keep in mind that any and all rebuttals and positive opinions posted on this website are from people most likely affiliated with the fraudulent company that sells this scam via PAID infomercial, or John Beck himself. It is obvious because the messages sound scripted and way to beaver cleaverish. I ordered the program and it took hella long to arrive. I was blatantly misled, deceived, and coerced into investing $6,400.00 into this mentoring program that is nothing more than an overpriced advisory service. Very financially risky advice!! The so-called mentors at this company are not seasoned real estate investors as they would have you beleive, but rather are trained to just follow an incomplete curriculum. Think about it, if they were successful real estate investors, they would have absolutely nothing to gain by sharing their knowledge with any one else and would have no time to sell this garbage to the general public in the first place. To make a very long story short, this company structures all of their transactions in such a way that it is really difficult to nearly imposssible for someone to get a refund. The so-called mentors are totally unwilling and unable to deliver anything they are selling. The staff in customer service is very rude and enjoys nothing more than giving people the run around. The bastard that scammed me never returned my calls and even threatened to sue me for merely exercizing my right to dispute the quality of service. THIS IS NOTHING SHORT OF EXTORTION AND ROBBERY!! I think I may be running out of space here so I want to say: DON'T ORDER THIS PROGRAM!! They have scammed many and have no remorse for doing so. They have caused me tremendous heartache and health problems. Believe everything that I have written because I have nothing to gain by sharing this information. If you are like me and would like nothing more than to protect the ones you love, tell everyone you know not to order this program because it is a flat out scam just like the many other infomercials aired. I am going to update this message very frequently and make it my life mission to get a refund with compensation. If you have been scammed you should do the same. If you already gave them your credit card number, call your credit card company and dispute the charges "immediately"!! Until next time take care and God Bless.

It has been (2) weeks since I ordered the Free and Clear Real Estate package and have yet to receive it. I ordered it online, and I thought $12.95 seemed a bit steep for standard shipping. Now I know it does not take this long to ship anywhere within the U.S., even if you add time for order processing. I called this phone number: (800)261-8844 which I found on the BBB website. This connected me to a live person who was taking orders for multiple products. When I asked about the status of my existing order, I was given this number: (818)464-1650, with operating hours of 9am-8pm, Mon-Fri (Eastern Time). Even though it is the weekend, I called the number anyway, and the greeting did not even sound like anything related to real estate or John Beck. I realize now that I should have known better, but I hope this info is helpful to some people.
