I used to work for "John Beck's Office". Actually it was MSI inc. in St. George, Utah. What they would do is call people who ordered the $40 John Beck Free and Clear Program and sell them "coaching". They were ruthless to these people. If a customer called asking for a refund, they would forward the message to everybody in the office for a good laugh. I was just out of high school and very nieve but it only took a couple weeks to see what was going on so I quit. There is no affiliation with John Beck at all. NONE. I heard some of the rudest and most awful sales techniques while I was there. My advice to you is if you get a call from "John Beck's Office".... Stay free and clear from them!

I ordered John Beck's product on 12/09/03. After paying the extra $7.oo for express shipping I did recieve the product in a timely manner. This was the only positive thing about this product. After reviewing the material I was highly disappointed to say the least. I knew immediatley I wanted to return it for a refund. I have tried calling customer service many times with no one ever answering the phone. I even called a number I found to place an order in an effort to get in touch with customer service. I was givin a different number but it was connnected to the same so called customer service line. This company is a scam and they will pay in the long run- what comes around goes around.

Beware of the bonus products that go along with this purchase. We made it clear that we did not want any "free" subscriptions or services, and in fact called back in 30 days to be sure any that might have been activated were cancelled. This was January 2003. In September we saw the first of four recurring charges to our account for $59.78. The only information given was the name WellQuest which we had never heard of. My bank was finally able to track down where the billing was coming from. I called the company and was put in a phone loop (your call will be answered in 10 minutes, then if finally rings and the whole thing starts all over again). I got the name of the owner and called the office directly and was eventually put into touch with someone who could look up the account. He sounded very nervous and said he refunded the four charges. I asked him where he got our personal information since I had never heard of the company and he said we had probably bought something from an infomercial. The charge turned out to be some type of long distance phone card. Next I tried to contact John Beck's company (good luck!) and then sent an e-mail demanding my original money back plus a letter stating that all our personal information had been removed from their system and that all affiliated companies had been contacted. I told them if I didn't receive this within 30 days I would be contacting the attorney general's office. I haven't heard back or received the refund yet, but will try to hope for the best. If not, I keep my promises and will file a complaint.

I ordered the John Beck Program had the money taken directly from my checking account.I waited and waited recieved made numerous calls I was treated rudley and even hung up on. They said it was delivered to my door Oct.31,2003.And I was told a false tracking number. I was also told by a superviser that he could reship it but I wouldn't be able to send it back for a refund. I stated no I wanted my money back he stated he would put in a request for my refund and I'd recieve it in 30 days. I am still waiting! I was told it was my fault I didn't get it. I feel my money was stolen from me. And after reading these other complaints here I wonder in my opinion is this how people make their money by scaming people. Because I truly believe I was scammed. And they also had their phone number changed. When I contacted Fedx they said no deliveries were made to my area on Oct.31,2003. People beware!

I am one of the hundreds of people who have been scammed by John Beck's Real Estate program. I returned the Program unopened and insure, after having tried numerous telephone numbers to reach them, and email addresses that don't exist. I tried in vain to cancel this order but could not reach anyone, or a wrong number, or a phone answering service that just keep repeating itself. When the package arrived, I refused it and sent it right back unopened, and Insured. After nearly 3 weeks of trying to contact a human, I reached someone "Marvin" who told me to go to the Post Office, get a copy to confirm the delivery, and fax it to them . I was promised that my charge card would be credited once I did that. The person who faxed the info showing that it definitely had been delivered back to them, also verified that the fax also went through successfully. After about 3 tries, I called the company back, and eventually got someone who told me that there was no record in their computer that the package arrived, even though I have verification from the Post Office. She asked me to send another fax with the same information. I still have the charge on my credit card, the package infact WAS received, I paid to fax the confirmation and a cover letter and paid for it and now I am expected to pay again and go to the trouble of going back to the P.O., going back to the Fax place and paying again. SEEMS TO ME, WITH SO MANY TONS OF LETTERS LIKE THIS, THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT A COMPANY LIKE THIS, AND GET OUR MONEY RETURNED TO US!!! If you have an 800 number or any other number to contact the Better Business Bureau, I would most appreciate it.

Five months ago I was duped into this scam. Yesterday, I received a letter from the company stating, that they would refund my money, provided I returned all the unopened and unused material. Since, I opened 1 of the three DVDs, all 4 of the CDs in order to participate with the coaching sessions, it is invalid. It is embarrasing to admit that I paid $4340 for all of this. they are offering to refund $2400 of the monies invested. I doubt it is for real. I live in Colorado and the program is unworkable in this state, unless you have several thousands to invest. The only profits are for this company, not the investor.

I've tried the "email adresses" and "websites" that are supposed to help you, but you know what? they're all phony. This john beck guy is nothing but a ******* liar who plays with many people. honestly, if i could get my hands on him. what i can't believe is that i was foolish enough to believe this john beck guy. I am warning all of you: don't order this shit.

After purchasing John's program and loosing over $18,000.00 I ran across this forum. Too little too late I'm afraid. I'm in the process of spear heading a class action lawsuit against him as well as being instrumental in getting a federal fraud inditement against Mr. Beck personally. Please make my email address known to anyone who would like to participate in the class action. I would contact them myself, but their addresses don't seem to be visable.

How rude!! I paid almost $55 for that john beck's free and clear crap and nothing came. The number that they gave me that connected me with that nimrod Nathan Hall (good luck getting a hold of him) someone told me he was coming to the phone. they put the phone on mute, but barely because i can hear them calling his name and talking to him. they asked me what was i calling for again, and when i said an inquiry about a product i requested, she put me back on hold, then i heard him say, "tell her i'm on vacation, call back in 3 weeks." i couldn't believe what i heard!! do not buy from this company, they are the epitomy of disgusting scam artists.

I ordered the john beck free and clear and was charged 60 bucks. When the package arrived I called the number to get started quickly. That day they talked me into putting over 10,000 dollars on my credit card. I thought about it and quickly changed my mind. The way the person was talking sounded scripted so the very next day I called to cancel the transaction. First I was giving the wrong number to contact their financial dept., then I was given the wrong fax number. Eventually I did get the right number and was told to write them a letter explaining why I wanted my money back. I wrote the letter and faxed it from my bank, whom I also called the very next day. The bank told me that they could not imagine a charge of that size being charged without a signature. They kept calling me wondering if I received the comfirmation letter because I really needed to sign it and send it in. I never did and I also never received the kit. The bank told me not to except anything or sign for anything because they would be able to use that against me. I disputed the charge and got a refund 2 months later(whew!). Now I just received a letter from EPN,INC. An attempt to collect a debt that they are saying is $2519.72. I called them and was told I received the kit. I moved not more than a month after this whole nightmare started. I never received anything but get this. When I called the so-called collection agency I was put on hold for about two minutes. When the lady got back on the phone she told me they(John Becks people) told her that I received coaching sessions and I was being charged for the kit I never received. I then told her I never received anything. She put me on hold for another minute. She got right back on the phone and told me a coach tried to call me and I hung up on him and thats why I was being charged. Then she told me they were cutting me a break on the price. SHE WORKS FOR J.B TOO. How would she get that kind of info that fast? They work at the same location. THERE NEEDS TO BE A CLASS ACTION SUIT BEHIND THIS CO. THATS HOW HE GETS RICH. SCAMMING PEOPLE!!!!!!!TIME TO TALK TO A LAWYER. THIS COMPANY SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS

I oredred John Beck"s Free and Clear System on Sept. 1st 2004, and to this day I have not received any thing yet!!!! when I called the customer service # at (800) 538-2002, I was told that there was no record of my order, I paid using a pre-paid Mastercard and spoke with an operator by the name of Valerie who took my order, I received a letter saying that their warehouse was hit by the hurricane in October, and , that if I did not receive the materials by nov. 5th, the package would be free, because they would return my credits to my card. Please see what can be done about this and let me know what I can do. $50 is too much to pay for a stupid scam like John Beck's system.

I ordered the Free & Clear Real Estate Program in Nov.2004 on the internet;it was receieved in about 2 weeks.I paid by debit card. When I recieved the CD's, which were 4 total. I have tried to play them on my cd player,my car cd, a portable cd and my grandaughter's cd player, and could get none of them to play everything. I have tried to reach John Beck by phone on 4 different numbers 3 were not in service and 1 needed a passcode. The Attorney General's Office needs to know about this.

Ordered Free and Clear, got Read Me First Letter. Letter states You can work with a personal coach... (not everyone is as special as you). We will do everything for you. Blah, blah, blah. Called the number on the letter. Guy wanted to Qualify me to be on a success story. Let me tell Mike about you, Mike Clark is John Beck's "right hand man" and you can work directly with him. Dude tells me 3 names I will hear in the business..John Beck, Michael Clark and Larry Bickel. Okay, so I think this Mr. Bickel is their code name for "Customer Cancel", "Complaint" or "We've been found out". Tell ya more later. So they get me in for 6840! What a dope. I find this website a couple of days later with the help of a friend. I began calling said company immediatly to cancel. As soon as I called and said I wanted to cancel the order, Oh, Let me let you talk to Mr. Bickel.. he finally gets on the line and wouldn't you know he sounds suspiciously like Mike Clark. "OH, Hello Michelle, Mike is trying to call you as we speak, oh hold on...on hold..." Yes, Michelle, Mr. Clark wants me to clear the line so he can reach you...click." Phone never rings...HMM Imagine that. I finally reach Mike by calling his cell phone! (Bet that number will change)I told him this program wasn't for me, that this company was not a member of the Better Business Bureau, and that it had very bad standing with the BBB. He flat lied and said yes it is a member, I stated, No, only John Beck's law practice is a member of the BBB. He just said OH. He Changed the subject and continued high pressure sales pitch and harrassment. He said, "You Can't Quit" "We make you do this because no one would ever be succesful otherwise". "stop looking for an out". He was very indignant stating, Well, we are not a scam! I continued to state that this program was not for me and I did not want to be charged with their fee (of$6840). I had been in contact with my credit card daily after this stupid initial call. My card co. advised me that until the charge went through they could do nothing. Well of course it goes through. I have started the dispute process, included this website in my letter to credit card co. along with another website and a copy of the letter I faxed and mailed to JB's Mentoring Institute. The letter I sent confirming my cancellation to JB was faxed and sent express delivery and return reciept, We'll see if there is an actual office. I have hope that justice will prevail. I am consulting with a lawyer. I am going to ask about a class action law suit as well. I hope it will help. It is November 2004. Keep checking back.

Just wanted to give you the latest numbers for John Beck Free & Clear Real Estate. As of October 27, 2004 they are in Utah (supposely) and the names and numbers are as follows. Jeff Garfield 877-704-6346 Ext 3308 John Young (over Jeff) 877-704-6346 Ext 3375 Amber Garfield (John's assistant/married to Jeff per John) 877-704-6346 Ext 3517 I only spoke to Jeff and John. Jeff was the scout and John the heavy hitter closer. I , too, ordered from a late night infomerical, received the kit fairly quick, and then the calls started, offering me the chance to be one of the "selected" ones.... for a fee of course. Thank goodness I didn't do it. It is a shame they trade on peoples desire to get ahead, live the dream. I hope these new numbers help. Of course I bet they visit this site also and will change everything.

I was on the way to pick up my phone and order John Beck's Free and Clear Program. I don't know what made me stop by my computer, maybe the too good to be true factor, but I am so glad I did. I needed only to enter beck, free, and clear into the search engine and your's was the first site to come up. I'm sure you are saving 1000's of people and their savings. Thank you.

On 10/4 I purchased Jeff Paul's program after watching an infomercial on TV (29.95). I received it, and found it quite intriguing. On Tuesday (10/12) I listened to Jeff Paul's conference call and by the end of it I decided to give this business a try, so I called and placed an order for $1,995.00, which included a detailed list of products (books, recordings, ads, etc), in 4 monthly payments and with a 60-day unconditional money back guarantee (which is the only reason I signed up). Needless to say the "bait-and-switch" came a couple of days later (10/14) when I received a call from one of their associates (Jed Johnson) offering to refund my 1,995 investment and instead get me into a 'fast-track' Mentoring Program that would take me 'by the hand' and ensure my success. I later learned that I was not dealing with Jeff Paul anymore but rather with Mentoring of America LLC, a company well known for scamming people under other names (John Beck's Free & Clear Real Estate System). After sensing some interest and excitement from me (and checking my available credit limit), Mr. Johnson then transferred me to Mr. Shane Jones to 'close the deal' and get me to commit $8,500.00 on 2 credit cards. This guy got me all 'fired up' and guaranteed that I would make my investment back in 2 to 6 months or they would continue to mentor me for free until I did. Now here's what's happened so far: I never received a confirmation e-mail or invoice stating the terms and conditions of my investment. Everything has been done verbally and very vaguely. It was never made clear to me exactly WHAT was included with my investment. All I was told is that I would get the 'products, ads and mentoring' After doing some research online I discovered that they're conducting a very elaborate scam. They refuse to refund my money claiming that I let more than 3 days pass (I called on 10/16 to cancel but was told to call back on Monday). I called Mr. Jones and asked for a refund and he said that the sale was final and he "might" be able to refund everything less 15% re-stocking fee. I have not received any packages and I already initiated a charge dispute with my credit card companies. On 10/25 I called customer service to see if they could refund everything except 15% 're-stocking' but the rep was extremely unhelpful. She just said over and over 'All sales are final and you agreed to it'. Bewarde of Jeff Paul or Mentoring of America, they do everything "by the book" and yet they know how to protect themselves from the consumers. Unfortunately the law is on their side.

I ordered the John Beck Amazing Profits program in January 2004. I was told I would be assigned a "Mentor" or "Coach" to help guid me through all of the information I would be receiving. Well, the mentors they assigned to me were just too busy to assist me or just flat never called. I also never received all of the information or product. The man who signed me up, Jeremy Foote, told me he would refund my money. When I called to see when I would be receiving my refund, the people in the customer service were rude and said that they do not do refunds. I called my credit card company and the disputed the charge and it was taken off of my credit card. Now I have been sent to Collections by the John Beck bunch.........Can Anyone Help!?

I just want to say thank you all for saving me a bunch of time, money and aggravation! Your pain has served to save others. I was going to order "Free and Clear" this afternoon, but after doing a bit of last minute research, I have found that the complaints far outweigh the recommendations. I became a real estate agent in Florida a couple years ago (fell through, but that's another story), and can tell you that all of the information you need to get started is readily available in libraries and the www. As a word of caution, be sure you also have a plan for selling properties you acquire. You can pay all of the back taxes you like, but if you can't sell the properties, you're stuck. If you have to ask if you're ready to get started, you're not. You will know when it's time. Good luck and take it slowly.
