I purchased this product almost 2 years ago. I just received a nasty letter in the mail supposedly from this company. They are claiming that during an audit, they found that I owe one more payment of $39.99. If I don't contact them immediately, then they will turn me over to a collections agency. What a load of crap! I truly believe that this is either not from the company but a scam artist, or this a poor attempt of screwing customers out of more money. They wait for a year or two then claim you owe them money. At this point, it would be extremely difficult to prove that I paid in full. Why wait two years to do an audit? Besides if they didn't take a payment that was their fault not mine and now 2 years later, I'm suppose to take their word on it! I don't think so!

Purchased Lateral Thigh Trainer 6 months ago. It is marketed by Keith Mirchandani of Tristar Products. On arrival it was defective, so I called and asked for a refund. I was forced to send it back with signature required, and still this day have not received a full refund. It has now been 9 months and I have called a dozen times. I always get a child by name of Jenny whom appears to have no education and no customer service stills. She told me she could not get fired as she was Mirchandani's daughter and ran the show. I ask for a supervisor, and shes says she was the only person I would ever talk to. This is one of those companies you never want to deal with as they believe in Money only and the customers can simply jump in the lake, if they want their money back.

I bought it and loved it at first. However, it does not last long. I know it was only $100, but they claim that it is a sturdy piece of equipment. The tension breaks after only a few uses, and then you no longer feel much of a workout. I wound up throwing it out, cos it was only gathering dust in my living room. Don't buy it. It's a total waste of money.

I bought this piece of crap after watching the infomercial. After I recieved it, I know I over paid and this was a total waste of money! The pedals didnt work at all! They did not move the way they were supposed to, like in the infomercial or instructional DVD! All I could do was stand on the thing. So, I called the company and asked them what to do, maybe I wasn't doing something right, but the customer service rep told me maybe I had a defective piece of equipment and that I could send it back, minus my $25.00 that I paid in S&H. Luckily, [] sells this thing on-line, and I was able to take it back to them, and get my refund. This is a piece of crap!!! BUYER BEWARE....DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Purchased lateral thigh trainer Nov 2003 from retailer.  chain broke before one year.   customer service won't fix because I didn't purchase from them.  I had the chain repaired.  Now, one year later it broke again.  customer service refuses to help because I didn't purchase from them.  They claim no one else has had this problem.  it is their product.  what difference does it make where I purchased the item?  It is obviously defective.  Fix it.
