Well I ordered this product also off of the TV offer with my debit card.  When I called to get the amount, they also tried to give me 4 vacuums.  I had them cancel this with no problem, however, I never received my vacuums and ended up having to buy a different vacuum from a local store because my old vacuum died.  I called and cancelled my order and was told the money would be refunded in 2 to 4 weeks.  Well it has been 3 months now and still nothing.   The wait times when using the 800 number are outrageous and they disconnect you anyway. Also, no one has responded to my email in the time they allot for that either.   I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and hopefully that will do some good.  Good Luck to the rest of you.  I feel your pain!!

I ordered the buy-on-get-one free Singer Lazer Storm over the phone after seeing the infomercial early in September of 2005.   It was the end of October when this huge box arrived with 4 vacs and a steamer.   I went to the phone immediately and called the # and after a short wait I spoke to a real person.  She said said that I would receive return labels from FedEx and that I would be issued a credit for the items that I did not order.  It is January 17, 2006, and I have called and emailed this company for months without any results.   They are the biggest scam on TV.  I am filing a complaint form with the State office of Consumer affairs. My credit card has been billed a total of $335 of which $94 was for shipping!  I am trying also to get my credit card company to reverse these charges.  I wish everyone good luck.

I have the same story as most of you.  I ordered the Laser Storm from the infomercial mid September 2005.  I decided to only buy 1 and get the 'free' power steamer.  The payment went through my credit card September 30.  I waited 4-6 weeks for delivery and never received my order.  I started calling the phone number on my credit card bill only to get a busy signal.  I did this several times a day for about a month.  Finally today I got through only to be told that their system was down and to call back within the hour then they hung up on me.  I didn't even get a chance to speak to anyone.  I was looking online for an email address to send a complaint to and I came across this web site.  I called my credit card company to find out what options I had and they were familiar with the problem with Singer and reversed the charges immediately.  I got lucky. I recommend anyone who paid with a credit/debit card call to see if your credit card company can do the same for you, especially if you've never received the product. I'm going to make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can come up with.  Thank you everybody for taking the time to speak your minds here or I may not have been so lucky.

I bought this because it had the SINGER name. I grew up with SINGER.This is the WORST product I have ever purchased and at the time I was so thrilled about the promotion I bought 4! Myself, two kids in college, and for my class room. It is HORRIBLE and I can not get a hold of anyone! My single income teacher pay does not go far...I am sick that this has happened! NO ONE has responded to my calls or to my e mail! DO NOT buy this product!

I ordered the Singer Lazer Storm vacuum online on 9-17-05. Total charge to my credit card $133.26.including extra filters. I have not received anything. I can't talk to a real person at any of the phone #s I've been referred to. There's just a message that says my order will be shipped in 3-5 business days. It's January and still no vacuum.I've contacted my credit card company and they are investigating.

My story follows: But does anybody have suggestions as to what action we can take to put an end to this outfit? So far I see all these complaints but, please, will someone help us take action? This is my horror story about these scam artists. I am sending the letter I wrote my credit card company disputing all charges. Dear Credit Card Company I am writing this letter as I was instructed to do by your office. In August 2005 I purchsed two Singer Lazerstorm vacuum cleaners which I saw on one of their nationwide infomercials and I paid with my credit card. The first billing was on 8/24/05 for $96.95. The second billing was on 9/13/05 for $39.95 and the third billing was on 10/11/05 for $39.95. This made the grand total, including the shipping, and a 5 year warranty, $176.85. My problem, however, really began when I tried to purcase replacement filters through the Windstorm web site, since they are unavailabe in stores. Again I paid by credit card on 10/26/05 for $22.92. If you check my statements they will show these charges. Well I never received the filters and any attempt I made to find out why, was to no avail. Phone numbers were disconnected, etc and they never responded to numerous emails. Finally on 1/9/06 I reached an operator at the 800 number (after a 40 minute wait). This is shown on the bill of 10/24. This very rude operator, who gave her name only as operator 132, told me that the filters were on a back order basis. I asked, "why wasn't I informed of that"? She replied that they don't do that and offered to refund the $22.95 charge, which I accepted since I have lost all confidence in this nationwide scheme. So now it remains to be seen if I acyually getit.  My point now, is that without the ability to buy replacement filters fot these two vacuums, they are useless. Also this infomercial is on TV nationwide and others must be experiencing the same as I have.  My question is, since I have been scamed and the vacuums are useless unless I can buy filters, perhaps I can dispute all the charges. ($176.85 plus the 22.92), and I will return to "who knows who". Believe me I have found no retailer who carries the vacuums, much less the filters! In fact I was told by one retailer that Singer was out of business. I would appreciate your assistance.

June 2005, my mother purchased via a money order  the Lazer Storm Vacuum for $78.35 which included shipping. The vacuum didnot operate as reflected on the TV commercial.  July 2005 the vacuum was returned to Singer Fulfillment 4540 Worth St,Los Angeles, CA 90063 to the tune of $26.65.  As of today, January 2006, still no refund to be seen. Fortunately, the money order documentation came in handy.  My local bank provided me with whom deposited the funds. The back of the money order states these words exactly,"Bank of the West, For Deposit Only,  Brass Logistics, LLC (Singer)." With this knowledge, I have located a company by the name of Brass Logistics , LLC which is a full-service fulfillment company. They do have a web sight. I am going to engage in e-mail discussions with their sales team requesting payback of my mothers expenses incurred with this purchase.   Their e-mail address issales@brasslogistics.com. Hope this is of assistance to any of you consumers who are seeking satisfaction to their purchase of the Singer Lazer Storm Vacuum.  Good Luck...

Just like everyone else complaining I have been waiting for my Singer Vac since August 19,2005. They charged my Am Ex account $101.21 and no delivery was ever made. I have been given the run around from this company. There is no way to reach these people and I'm ready to go on TV to exposed them. There must be some way to protect ourselves from creeps like this. How do we get our money back?

placed an order by telephone after seeing the infomercial on tv on 9-l3-05.  The charges were place on my card on 9-2l-05.  I still have not received the vacuums or a credit to my account.  I have talked at various times to two operators and their supervisors getting a cancellation number from Igia and also from singer at their california number l-800-7ll-8357.   Needless to say many hours were used holding until I talked to someone and waiting for someone to call me back.  However, nothing has been credited and I am out $l74.82.  What can be done about this?

I ordered my vacuum and accessories in late July 05, and my account was charged $266.00.  I waited and waited for the vacuum to arrive, and then I started calling the company in October.  My wife and I have called them sooooo many times, just to be put on hold for hours and hours, and then just hung up on!  The one time that I did get through, I was assured that my vacuum was going to be mailed that week, and that they would call me back with my shipment tracking number.  No call or vacuum was ever received.  I was told that I need to be patient why is it I feel like Ive been ripped-off?  Its now Jan 06, and Im still out $266.00 and no vacuum.  Is there any way that I can get my money back?  This is not the way to treat people!

I ordered 2 singerlaser vacuums per the infomercial in August. My credit card was charged $234.80. In October after waiting on hold for 1 1/2 hours (I timed it) was told my order would ship in 2 weeks. November still no vacuums. Called the customer service after being on the phone for an hour(I timed it) was finally talking to a live person. They cancelled my order and said my account would be refunded in 5 to 7 business days. In December, four weeks later, called again. Was told that a their automated refund system had broken down and the refunds all had to be made manually. Was told a rush would be put on my refund. January 11th. Still no refund. Have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Still waiting.

I placed an order over the internet after seeing the infomercial about the Singer Lazer Storm Vac.  This was on August 11 2005 and was debited from my account that day.  I have made numerous attempts and calls to locate my purchase.  Twice I was told in November that it had been shipped and I should recieve it in 1-2 weeks.  I made another attempt on January 6 to locate my purchase.  I was put on hold for 20 minutes, the lady I spoke with (Rose) told me that it was still on back order.  Once I proceeded to question her about her company and try to get her name and extension she hung up on me.  She could not answer any of my questions.  I'm assuming Rose was not her real name because I called right back and was tranfered it seemed like 30 times and no one knew a Rose and was hung up on again.   I work in retail and I would be ashamed to have my name associated with such a dishonest company.  If Singer was a part of my family business I would be a little more picky about who  I hired to help me sell and promote my products.

In early November of 2005, I too odered (from the infomercial) one (1)Singer Lazer Storm Vac with the promise of "Buy One Get One Free". Two days later, when using the automated system on my checking account, I found that I had been charged $453.70!  After spending several hours on the phone trying to get thru to this company, I finally connected and was told that I had ordered 16 vacuums. I explained that was absolutely ridiculous, denied the order, canceled it an was told my money would be refunded within 15 days. Meanwhile, frantically trying to find $453.70 to put into my checking account was frazzling.  I had already incurred a $35 overdraft fee because of this transaction. 18 days later, hours spent calling and on hold again, I was told, "No, the process takes 30 days, you will have your money at the end of the month". She explained the reason the company was so hard to get a hold of was because they had a "virus" in the system and they were moving offices.  I explained to the woman that I am a single mum with 3 children, it was Christmas and I and I am sure nobody else has this kind of money to just fork over. She assured me the transaction would take place 12/26/05. 12/29/05 still no money, countless hours on hold, cut off, crying, overwhelmed, frustrated at the inability to get someone.  Finally got through, told "i can put a rush on this??????" I asked what my money was still doing there????Could I speak to a supervisor, got put throught to an "automated supervisor" whose recording indicated and immediate phone call would follow up.  Right! That was the last time i have been able to connect. Again, countless hours trying to get through and being put on hold. I have sent numerous emails to their customer service, with automated responses of how important of a customer up and promises of a 24 hour follow up - NONE.  To say I am frustrated, would be an understatement. This has turned my life upside down. It has financially strapped and caused all sorts of charges for me, my time spent trying to get a hold of these people.............I read it all of the other emails.  I am curious how IGIA, a well known company is involved with this.  I also plan to go the the television station locally and file as many complaints as possible.  I have been unable to connect with IGIA at this time, although I did also send them an email. If somebody has found a way I would surely appreciate them sharing the information. Thank you.

Back in September 2005 I ordered one vacuum, one steamer, and one set of 3 additional filters.  What I received was one vacuum ONLY!!!!  However I was billed for the vacuum, steamer and extra filters and then in a separate transaction I was billed for another vacuum.  I have been trying since October to either get the steamer and extra filters and have one vacuum credited back or keep the one vacuum and have the entire package of vacuum, steamer and extra filters credited back.  So far all I have is one vacuum.  This is not what I call customer service, not to mention that when I call before 5 pm pst they have already turned over their phones or I have had to hold for more than an hour once I got through and then still nothing gets done about getting product to me or refunds made!!!!!!!!!!!!

As everyone else has already stated here, I too have fallen victim to the Lazor Storm Vacuum scam.  I am out nearly $200.00 with no vacuum to show for it at all.  This is the first time I have ordered something from the TV and the only reason I did is because I trusted the Singer name.  I am so disgusted with this company right now.  I am a single mom with three young daughters and it makes me sick to think that this company is getting away with this.  I am sure I will never see my money or the vacuums; and by the sounds of it the vacuum isn't worth having anyway.  Like everyone else here I have called, emailed and left voice mail messages all to no avail.  I hope no one else falls victim to this scam.

I made the mistake of ordering the Singer Lazor Storm (or Wind Storm -- it was called one thing in the infomercial and in the box, another on the invoice)in September. According to the infomercial, if I ordered right then, I'd get a second vac free, plus a free steamer. I placed the order, which was all computer-generated (no live person), only to find out at the end that the steamer wasn't free at all -- you could only get it if you ordered $20.00 of attachments along with $20.00 in p+h. The only option was yes, accept this charge or no, refuse "free" steamer. Canceling the order wasn't given as an option at this point. So, in October we got the box -- it was huge. I was hoping that they threw in the steamer that the infomercial had promised. No such luck. Instead of 2 vacuums (one plus one free) and a steamer, there were 4 vacuums and a full charge of 313.70 (instead of the 3 easy payments). On top of all that, the vacuum didn't even live up to the promises made in the infomercial. For example, although the ad claims the filter basket never needs to be replace, just needs to be emptied, and occasionally rinsed, once you get the vacuum you understand why they also offer a "filter replacement" plan during the order taking. Junk. I immediately began calling the company only to be disconnected after long hold times again and again. I tried every number (6) that I had, plus I emailed them atCustomerCare@SingerLazer.com. The email bounced back as "undeliverable." After a few days of trying I finally got a person. I explained the 4 vs 2 vacuums, plus my disappointment in the entire process -- from not getting what was offered, to receiving an inferior product. I got a "reference number" to return the vacuums and was told that when they received them I would get my refund, minus the shipping and handling charge ($74.00 for 4 vacuums -- what's fair about that?). I sent them back through USPS with delivery confirmation. The company received the vacuums in early November. I'm still waiting for my refund. Today I called my bank (I used a Checking card as a credit card to purchase). After explaining the problem to a service rep, he at first told me that it might be too late -- but after we went through the dates and info, including how they told me they would send a refund and they have the products, he believes they can help me out and is filing a dispute. He said that it could take up to 90 days to get it resolved. The moral here? If you bought the Lazor/Wind Storm, call your credit card company asap to file a dispute. Keep records of all conversations, when you called, who you talked to, emailed, etc. Make sure you send the vacuums back with a "delivery confirmation," or "signature required" so you can prove they received them. Next, call or email your state attorney general to file a complaint. Don't let others get taken in by this company's lies.

I ordered one singer lazer storm vaccum  for my vacation home in Florida on a special offer on tv  where they will give two for the price of one and and steam cleaner. To my surprise when i received I found 4 vacuums and no steam cleaner and i was charged $313.70 while on the phone the representative had told me a price of $125. I have  unsucessfully tried many times calling the customer service number on the invoice and sending e-mails with no response. I will never buy anything from this company again.
