My problem is dealing with customer service.  I am speaking about this entity called IGIA, from who I purchased the "as seen on TV Storm Vac", I have been trying to get an issue resolved with them for over a month now.  When I call on the phone I'm placed on hold for ove an hour before I'm completely cut off.  The phone greeting also tells me that for faster serivce send them an email.  I have sent them 5 or more emails in the past month and have not received a response from them.  It is a shame that a business like this is allowed to operate.  As a matter I'm beginnig to wonder if this is some scam operation.

Wow was I ever surprized to see so much to complain about.  Everyone has said about all there is to say and Iam inthe same boat.  I ordered May 22 and am still getting the same run around.  I would like to see some kind of law action brought against this company.  If anyone has any ideas I would like to be added to yhe list.

back in oct of 2005 my husband and i ordered one of the lazer storm vacuums. what a joke! 1st off when i was ordering it, the checkout was such a ripoff because we were supposed to get a free steamer with the purchase, but you had to pay shipping for the steamer which was 20.00 and you had to agree to buy all the attachments for it which was another 20-30.00! what a rip off. so we did receive the vacuum cleaner and it was terrible!! it didn't even work as good as my cheap little dustbuster!! we immediately decided to send it back. shipping charges to mail it back was almost 34.00! so we have almost 55 dollars invested in a vacuum that can't even handle a little bit of dust! needless to say we have never received our refund for the vacuum cleaner and it is now almost january!!

I have not had the chance to try the Storm Vac, because I have never received the product.  My debit card however has been charged.  I ordered the product in a weak moment early one Saturday morning.  My checking account was charged within the week.  Six weeks later no vacuum & have been unable to get any information regarding my order.  I have called and e-mailed to no avail. I contacted my bank as I am concerned that they could debit my account at any time with no recource available to me. I had to reorder a new debit card with different number to avoid further withdrawals. I lost $100.00, but am thankful that it wasn't more. I am contacting the Better business bureau, my attorney general and my local news station.   These people are making money thru fraud and misrepresentation.  I can't believe they can continue to do business without any responsibility to the public.

I order a Igia Singer Laser vac via info-commercial for $39.00. Two days later, I check my account and $534.00 was debited from account. I call my back and was given the Bank ref # and 800#. I called for several days ( from morning to evening( but to no avail. The voice message stated that, " Due to the high volume of calls, please email us at:customercare@singerlaser.com." To this day, one month later, I have never gotten a reply from Singer Laser or its fullfillment house/ customer care. When I did reach a customer service rep, I was given a confirmation # and told that I would get a refund on an item that is sold for $39 and charged $534 for "handling and shipping fees". I am still awaiting my refund. I have called and written both the fullfillment house and corporate IGIA in NY, but to no avail. Next step is the Attorney General and FCC for false advertising and fraud. Plese check the Better Business Bureau .. lots of complaints and no response from the company... It took IFIA 3 days to debit my account and now its taking me more the 1 month to get my account   credit for an  item that was cancelled 2 days after I ordered via the phone ... Stop accepting these types of ads...

I ordered 2 Deluxe Vacuums back on 6/13/05.  Delivery was promised in 4-6 weeks.  The vacuums never came.  I made numerous attempts to contact customer service.  Emails were bounced back.  I could never get through the 1-800 number.  Finally one day, I talked to a real person who promised me the vacs would be shipped out within the week.   A couple more months went by. Every time I called th 1-800 number the message would change. My credit card company billed me for all the payments. Eventually, when I would call the number it started promising shipment within 3-5 business days. Finally on Oct. 28, 2005 I called again only to get the same message.  I tried cancelling the order but I never got a confirmation.  I spent 2 months with my credit card company trying to get the charges taken off. They declined saying too much time had passed for their investigation. Now I've paid for vacuums I've never received.  I just spent an hour on hold either with a busy signal or being hold with a voice mail message telling me a customer service representive would be with me shortly.  Then I got disconnected. I am very angry. I order products off the internet all the time and never have I experienced such a problem.  The only reason I ordered was that I trusted the name Singer. What a joke.  What can we do?

I woke up in the early hours of the moring and my TV was still on.The TV was showing the Singer Lazer Vac.  I thought that it was a good thing to have and if I ordered before the program went off I could get one free and a steamer.  I ordered on my visa debit card in August.  They would charge my card $39.95 for three payments plus shipment and I would have it in about 10 days.  They charge my card for the total price and on my last statment they had taken out $39.95.  I am waiting for my next statment to see if they are still taking out the money.  I called them in November because I have not received the products.   It took about an hour to get to talk to someone.  I was told they had sold out and was waiting for another shipment and I could get my money back.  I told them I wanted the product and I would wait. I called again in November to see if I would have it before Thanksgiving.  It took a long time to get to talk to someone and when I did they told me that they wasn't using Singer anymore that it had been update and was a better product.  I asked if I would still get the free Vac and the Steamer.  I was told I could get two Vac and two Steamer.  I called again before Christmas and was told they were in the process of sending them out by the 23rd. and I could get my money back.  I told them if it took this long to get the product how long would it take to get the money.  I called again Dec. 28th because I never received anything.   After an hour I kept getting messages to callcustomercare@singerlazer.comor stay on the line for the next available person.  That person never came on the phone.  I finally got a dial tone and I called right back and went through the same thing again for 3 more times and finally I got a message that the place was closed and to call again the next day.  This was like 3 hours later.  I don't have E.Mail at home and I am at work. After reading others report I don't want the product now but I do want my money.   How do I get that?????

Hi, I just wanted to let you all know that I too, have been ripped. I have called and been put on hold more times than I can count. I have had 2 reps promise that we would have the money credited back to our account. It has been over 3 months and still have not seen a dime. With the kind of money and time we are all talking here, maybe we should all hire an attorney. I'd be happy if I only received a dollar if that meant something was done to stop these people. If anyone knows how to stop this and get something back to show for our $400.00 loss besides a vacuum that has problems picking up bread crumbs I would appreciate it.

I too am another Victim of this Rip Off Scam of this Lazer Storm Vacuum.. Call this # for results& a Live person: 212-575-0500. I only ordered 2 of the vacuums and the free steamer on the "3" payment plan, to my surprise I have been charged $293.90 so far and after speaking to a live person today and then a Supervisor calling me back in less than 5 minutes.. I am furious to find out that they are going to try and charge my account a total of $453.70 for 2 of those lousy vacuum cleaners.. They told me I was accidentally charged for 4 of them, I asked how do you accidentally charge someone when the system is all automated??? They could not give me a Straight answer..!!!I was alos told that a credit would take 2-4 weeks, when I questioned why this amount of time they said it's their policy... I have turned this over to my bank for investigation, I will take this further including Legal Action, News Media etc...I am looking forward to a Class Action Lawsuit with this co, Hopefully... Good Luck!!!!!

It is funny that you ask if I own or have tried the  Product!! I never received it to try it.  I tried to cancel the order, because of the ordering process, but my e-mail was returned.  I ordered 10/4 and have not received anything, except the withdrawal from my bank account, of course!!  Is there ever going to be anyway to get some help with this.  All I read is the complaints, but no one has any answers that can help. I would like to know if there is going to be a class action!!

Hello, On 9/22, I ordered one of the vacuums that were available, totalling $156.85.  On 9/29 I was charged $313.70.   After trying numerous times and hearing only a busy signal I got through.   Then after waiting on hold for over an hour, I finally talked to a real person and notified them of the situation and asked why I had been charged this amount.  They told me that it was because I had been charged for four of the machines and that I should just reject the package that was shipped via Fed. Ex. They told me that I would be refunded the entire amount.  Well, on 11/15 I still had no refund from you and chose to try to call again to ask what the hold up was.  After trying numerous times, I finally got through the busy signals and got to wait on hold again.  Then after quite a wait, I was helped by a woman who told me that I would be receiving a refund of $276.70.   I asked why it was not for the whole amound when I was told previously that it would be.  They said that the reason being was for S/H fees.  I was furious but chose not to argue, only to get the majority of my money back. I still have received no refund and first I called on 12/01 to ask what the problem was.  They told me that I should expect the refund the next day.  I didn't receive it so I called back and was told that my card would be refunded on 12/09.  On 12/18 still no refund.  I tried calling again today but only got the busy signal for about 30 minutes of calling non-stop.  Then when I did get through, I waited on hold for over an hour with still no answer.  So, finally I got off of the phone and decided to write. Please do refund the entire amount immediately. Thank you, Jill

I am another victim of this stupid vacuum cleaner.  I have ordered mine back in July 4th weekend and they credited $266.85 from my credit card on July 6th.  When I still didn't see my order in September, I called to cancel my order.  The rep told me it would take 21 days to have my refunds and I am given a ref. # of my cancelled order.  However, as of today, December 25th, I still haven't received my refunds yet.  I have called and e-mailed them million times but it doesn't seem like I am going anywhere with it.  All I got are those generic e-mails saying they will get back to you in 24 hours. If anyone knows how I can get my money back, please advise.

We too, like may other purchased the Singer Lazer vac in 9/05.  We returned to sender unopened via Fed-ex.   Waited on hold several occasions for 60 minutes only to be told credit had been issued. As of 12/21/05 still no credit for the amount of $313.70  There must be some type of legal action against this company on Worth Street, Los Angeles, Ca 800-711-8357.

I ordered the lazerstorm vaccum in September.  They withdrew the money from my account but I have yet to receive the vaccum.  I don't get any where when I call all I get is a recording with the message it will be shipped within 3 to 5 working days.  I have yet to talk to a person.   I will neveragain order anything from tv again.

I ordered the singer lazer vac on 9-4-05 with a debit card. I was supposed to be billed in installments of $39.95, receive a free vac, and a steamer. On 9-14-05, $313.70 was debited from my account, which made my account negative and bounce four more checks at $30.00 for each overdraft. I contacted my bank shortly after, and explained the situation to them. Within a couple of days, my account was credited the full amount (less the overdraft fees). On 9-21-05, I received four vacuums and no steamer. I opened one of the vacuums and decided to try it out. What a waste! The vacuum is complete garbage. My daughter has a toy vacuum that cleans just as much as the lazer and it only cost $15.00. I've been trying to get a hold of a "live" person since september so I could return this garbage. I finally talked to someone in October, but was told that someone would call me back because that was the way they work. I've been trying ever since to contact them with no luck and still no calls from them. Now I'm stuck with four lousy vacuums taking up space in my basement, but luckily they don't have my money. I've since closed my checking account since they had all my information. Oh! I forgot the best part! When I told the bank about the situation, they gave me a contact number that the company gives them to contact them at, and it was my own cell phone #!

I purchsed 1 vacuum with the understanding that I would get another vacuum for shipping and handling.  Maxium price approximate price $160.00.  They shipped 4 vacuums and charged my Visa $371.67.   I returned all vacuums via US post Office w/ a tracker number.  They kept the vacuums and have not credited my account.  This happened in October 2005.  How can this company continue this practice?  I have complained to the BBB of Las Angeles.

Frustrated - is one word to describe this experience.  Back on 8/21/05, I ordered the singer lazer vacuum.   After all of the additions, the total price was 143.75.  The very next day they processed the payment.   In 3 or 4 weeks, I tried to call and never connected to a customer service rep.  I sent an e-mail, and no response, even though the generic response is "someone will get to you within 72 hours".   I then went to the Singer website and sent them an e-mail.  They advised me of a lawsuit that they had against this company, Igia.   Singer indicated that they would not allow Igia to use their name for this product, however, they (igia) were told to send out the orders that have been made.  This was in September and I have not received my vacuum with the "free" (right) steamer.  I sent numerous e-mails and no response.  I called, and waited 1 hour and finally hung up as I believe they "do not" have customer service reps!!!!  I even thought I would out-smart them by ordering another via phone and they out-smarted me. . .no reps; just voice activated order.   In October, they finally had a recording indicating that you can check on your order.  When I did, they listed what I ordered, included the charge and indicated that it was being processed and would be shipped withing 3 to 5 days.  Okay . .. it is now December and still no vacuum & steamer!!!   I then sent another e-mail with "cancel" in the subject and this was the first time that I did not receive their generic e-mail back (they would get back to me within 72 hours).  This was in November.  To-date, my charge has not been credited.  Today I sent an e-mail with the subject as "Legal Action".    This is outrageous!!!!  I have never been so frustrated!

Ordered and cancelled the same day on 8/24 when they hit my account for $153.90.  Have called at least weekly since then - have refund number and still although they say account will be credited by "Friday" - never appears.  Customer number given was 1800-711-8357; of course you are put on hold for 45 min (thank goodness for speaker phones) and then disconnected.  Emails get bounced back and IGIA, although it thanks you for the recent email, doesn't respond in the 24 hour period it promises.  How can they still be advertising?  Look how much money they are bilking and false advertisements......
