I ordered this vacumn from TV, After I ordered I decided I didn`t  want it I tried to email them to tell them to cancel, but in a week it was delivered to me, I did not accept it from the UPS man, telling him to return it. But it has showed up on my MasterCard for the last 2 months. I am not able to contact the company for a explanation, you are put on hold for hours. I have also tried email with no response. Major Rip Off

I have tried to get my money back from them also it is the same story if anyone can tell me where to complain or if we can all join in a class action suit I am all for it. Let's get scum like this off the planet.

I had a similar experience as many complaintants with the Singer Laser Storm, buy one get one, plus steamer for a total of three payments of $39.99.  I agreed to the accessory package for $ 20.00.  I authorized a deduction of about $ 157.00.  The company, IGIA, has charged my credit card $350.00! And, I have not received any merchandise.  In August, I spoke with a "representative" who said that these additional charges were for "shipping" and that my order has already been processed so that I cannot cancel it. First, these are exorbitant charges for shipping and also there has been no product shipped.  Please help me get my money back and penalize this company for fraud.

After talking to a rep about the product, I told them I didn't want it and hung up.  Unfortunately, the asked for all the information first.  They billed my credit card $166.95.  I've never received a thing because I told them I didn't want it, but got charged anyway.  I've tried several times to call them and its busy.  One time I got through and it was automated and told me to contact them at "Customer care @ singer laser.com"  Tried that, got the email back as not deliverable.  I'm going to watch for that informercial again and call them.  Meanwhile I'm out for $166.95.

I've ordered this vacuum cleaner too. I'm extremely pissed off about it. I ordered 1 (get one free) and the steamer. I've been charged over $400 now! Fortunately,I do have the steamer and the 4 vacuum cleaners. But if I want to get my money back - I like many of you - must ship it back to the company at my expense. I'm also seeing 3 different charges to my Visa bankcard - each 2 weeks apart. There is no customer service dept - just some girl that sounds like she's totally uninterested in what your saying to her. I got her only after I called 2 different numbers that have the same stupid script about some high call volume etc. Press 1 or 2 and then it hangs up on you. I finally realized that they now have a 'blank check' and the bank can't do anything since I authorized the purchase. This is a real scam! I will never buy anything from an infomercial again...I've had to close my checkcard and get a new card reissued just to make sure I won't get charged again. I plan on filing charges to my state attorney generals office in my state and file a complaint with the FCC and get this off the air.

I ordered this product online back in July.  Paid for it on VISA.  Never received it.  E-mailed (no response), called (was told due to popular demand there was a 10-12 week delay.  Called again given another number (no response, just rang and rang).  It seems I've been stiffed.

i first ordered this product on 080605 - when it didn't come after 6 weeks, i called only to be put on terminal hold for 2 1/2 hours and then cut off.  i called the next day and went through the same time-frame but then got ahold of someone who advised my credit card was denied.  i was very upset and made a verbal complaint to a supervisor - she said they would try my credit card again and i should receive the products in a few weeks.  i then contacted my card customer service who advised the request had never been made.  now it is november 2nd and i still have not received the products (buy 1, get 1 free and a steamer free).  i tried to call this a.m. but got put on terminal hold again - do these people think my (or any of our) time isn't worth anything?  i beg to differ.  i contacted my card company and am advised the request has still not been made.  i e-mailedcustomercare@igiathis a.m. but am sure i will not hear back after reviewing complaints regarding this product that others have posted.  is anybody in the companies promoting these products listening to these complaints?  if not, perhaps we should all contact the better business bureau and place formal complaints.  good luck to us all!!

We bought the vacuum thinking that it would be a good investment until we had for only about 3 weeks and it just broke while we were vacuuming up dirt! It never worked again and I have tried to contact the company and always have gotten a busy signal, then when it finally rang, it suddenly hung up on me. We bought a 5 year warranty so that we could return it if something did happen, and now i am left with a piece of crap vacuum and does work and spent $100 and something that never was that great!

We saw the infomercial and ordered the Lazer Storm vacum, by one and recieve a second vacum and a steam cleaner for no charge. We placed our order on Sept. 3 2005 and chose to pay by check over the phone. They gave us no total and disconnected. They withdrew $333.74 on Sept. 16 2005. We also called customer service and got a recording saying we would recieve the order in 3 -5 business days. Nothing came, we have called many times but have never reached a real person, each time after holding for 45 min to and hour it tells you to call back later. So we tried the e-mail route, we too got an immediate response stating that we would be contacted by a customer service rep. within 24 hours. Two days later still no contact, so I sent a second e-mail and another two days have since gone by, it is now Nov. 2 2005 and can not contact this company and still have no merchandise. Is there any legal action or a way to get their licence pulled, and all these people thier money back.

I was never given a total amount. Yet was charged over 300.00 on my credit card. Tried to call them but their email and ph numbers are bogus.

I ordered a vacuum - buy one, get one free and a free steamer.  The steamer came lst with an invoice for FOUR vacuums - over $300. I called customer service, waited 40 minutes, had someone who said he was "Gus" say it was taken care of and gave me a fake reference number.  I received FOUR vacuums after this call.  FEDEX showed up to pick up the 2 vacuums I did not want. Said he's had 3 similar pickups this week. Obviously a scam, hoping you will keep the vacuums and pay to $40 each plus shipping fees.  Now they have the two vacuums back and i have a charge in excess of what i originally authorized.  i'm wondering if it is an identify theft problem as well as a merchandising scam.    I'm complaining to our state attorney general and also disputing the charge on my credit card so it is reversed.

I ordered this product back in mid June.   It is now the end of Oct. and I have yet to receive my 2 vacuums.   I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service only to be put on hold for ever, or have my emails bounce back,  I an now working with my credit card company to get the charges taken off my card.

On September 12,2005 I ordered a lazer vacuum from an infomercial. I was supposed to receive one vacuum for three payments of $39.99 plus shipping and handling and get a free vacuum and a free steamer. I received four vacuums and the steamer. I was charged for two vacuums at $119.85 each for a total of $239.70,plus $20.00 for the "free" steamer and $94.00 for shipping and handling. The grand total was $353.70. They charged my account $193.90 on 9/12/2005 and $79.90 on 10/05/2005. I called Customer Service on 10/10/2005. The lady who spoke with me was rude and disinterested in my problem. I asked to speak with her supervisor and after a brief pause she said the line was busy. I asked to hold and she said that I could not. I then gave her my name and number for the supervisor to return my call. This is 10/27/2005 and I have not received a call. Next I emailed the IGIA company atcustomercare@IGIA.comon 10/17/2005.I received an immediate response that I would be hearing from a customer service representative within 24 hours. I still have not heard from the company. I sent a second email on 10/22/2005. Still nothing. In addition the vacuum has such a small waste cup and filter that I had to empty it several times to vacuum one room. It is not a good product and to think that I have four of them just blows my mind! This company lacks the integrity that should be required to operate. Shame on them and our government for letting this kind of thing happen to consumers.

I saw an infomercial in the first week of august and it looked cool and I was in a hotel and we needed a new vacume so I thought why not so I call the number and ordered three of them one for me and two for gifts, they quated six weeks till the delivery I thought that was quit a while to be waiting but I did it anyway and after and on september 20 I called and they said it would be another month and the lady was really ronchy and rude I was going to wait another month until I talked to the lady and she was very unprofessional and rude, so I cancled my order and they said it would take 7-10 business days to credit my visa and now is is aoctober 25 and I have no vacume not money credited and now I cant even get a hold of a live person I even did the email things and no responcs but the number doesnt say singer lazer storm it says (the Vacume) I as well am on SSI income and it is a real inconveniance to me how can we get our money back and why isnt anythings being done about this company I have read all kinds of similar problems with this fraudulent company and I think that should be enouph to go threw the investigation and take down this company also nown as IGIA. so if you are ordering the singer lazer storm stop rite there even if it is called The Vacume because I believe the changed the name because of all the complaints. lets get this problem solved for every one.

I ordered the storm laser and they charged me $348. for which I never got the vacuum. I contacted them and waited for 30 minutes one day, then 40 minutes the next day only to be cut off each time. I hope everyone reads this and doesn't order anything from them. I am retired and live off my social security. Donna

We too were sucked in by the infomercial about the Laser Storm Vacuum.  We ordered it on May 31, 2005 and the order appeared on our Visa for $273.00.  After waiting for 12 weeks with not vacuum arriving, we called several times to enquire, each time being told it would be rushed out.   Finally, mid Sept. we phoned to cancel the order and were told that the credit would appear in 3 weeks time on our Visa statement.  Well guess what, it has been six weeks and no credit.  We called again only to be told that the cancellation was processed on Oct. 11/05 and that it would take two weeks to be processed by Visa.  To date it has not yet been processed.  We contacted Visa and hopefully they will be able to go after this fraudulent company.  ANYONE WANTING TO BUY THIS VACUUM, BE AWARE IT IS FRAUDULENT!!!
