I am contacting you about the following company. IGIA Inc. 11 West 42nd Street 7th Floor New York, NY 10036 Phone: 212-575-0500www.igia.comIn June my wife had me order a vacuum she had seen advertised on tv for her birthday. The Singer Lazer Storm by IGIA. I visited the web site and then ordered one by way of a phone number they provided. The 4 weeks stated for delivery came and went and no vacuum. I called and they had no explanation other then they did not ship it. They stated that I should wait another 4 weeks., so I did and no vacuum. I called and again no explanation other then they didnt ship it. I at this point requested a refund. They said no problem the check is in the mail. Well after at least a dozen calls by me since and several more by other advocate agencies the canned response is the check is in the mail. I did a Goggle search   on this company  Fraud+IGIA+Singer lazer Storm There are lots of web sites that came back with people telling the same story as me ( I would be gald to send you copies of my search results). I have contacted the BBB, my credit card company, my bank, the attorney generals office for NJ and NY, the FBI internet fraud/white collar crime division, the fair trade commission, and about 15-20 Consumer advocate groups. None of them have been able to help me. This company doesnt answer phones, puts you on endless hold if you do get them and if you out wait them and they dont just outright hang up on you they tell you the Mission statement the check is in the mail   All I want is my $220.00 back. I know it doesnt seem like a lot but I live check to check and that was a big expense for me. Please help me. If you cant Please direct me to someone who can. This company is committing Fraud and theft on a grand scale. They still run tv ads, radio ads, internet ads, still take orders and are still ripping people off. If I did this I would be arrested ,charged and at the least made to pay restitution, and yet nothing can be done to this company and no one can help. Please research this company and what it has been doing before ordering any products. Thank you for any assistance you can lend.

As you can research, the Lazer Storm infomercial is a scam. My MC was charged three times the amount it should have been and I've sent everything back with Fed. Ex and never got my MC credited.

i have been trying for 3 days to each someone at the 800 number that they gave me after they took out 193.90 out of my account for something that was to be less than they said. i reported this to my bank now they are investigating the claim. no one answers the phone number they give you then they give you a customer care number that no one answers. i tried for 3 hours one day and got the customer care number that no one answered. i tried the email address and that didnt go either. if you are smart you will not get anything from the tv again i surley wont.

We sawthe infomecial about the lazer storm and my wife wanted to try it. After recieving our vacuum(plus our free one) for almost $160, we decided the value was not good and it didn't work as well as promised. We returned the Vacuum and were told we would be credited on our account within 3 weeks. It has been almost 2 months now and no credit. Everytime I call Cust. Service, I get put on hold for up to an hour and a couple times, I got cut off. We tried e mail and they e amiled us back and told us to call customer sevice at the same number I tried before. The vacuum itself I have seen on the web for about $60 dollars so did I really get a free one? The infomercial also say you get a free steam cleaner with our order but since we didn't want to pay an extra $25 dollars for the accessory kit and pay $20 shipping and handling, it wasn't included. This is the poorest customer service I have ever dealt with.

I too ordered the Singer vac. Because Singer is an old reliable Company. Worst of all it was advertised on my favorite Christain channel. What could be more trust worthy that that. I ordered ii and all the trimmings, plus the free extra vac. on Aug. 19th. They charged my visa $493.70. After too many repeated calls (all unaswered) and endless e-mails, of which none have been answered. It is October 11th and i still have not receiver my vac. What can we all do to get our money back and put these people where they belong?

i ordered the singer lazer storm with all of the 'wonderful' free incentives (which ended up being and extra $57 in shipping).  the first thing they did was ask for name, address, credit card #.   then they got into their long winded selling speel.  upon completing the order, i was not given a total or a confirmation number.  because they are COMPLETELY automated with absolutely no way of contacting a human being.  i immediately e-mailed them and asked them to put a stop on my order.  i did not want it.. i did not like there customer service... do not charge my card.  they ended up charging my credit card $133.00 (i think there will be more charges)  i have not received the product and there is no way of contacting.  i have e-mailedcustomercare@singerlazer.comseveral times.   i have now been getting those e-mails back as undeliverable because of no such address.  i have also e-mailed igia.com (which who charged my credit card) and i only get automated responses that a representative will personally handle my e-mail with in 24 hours. HAH!!!  THESE PEOPLE ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered the Singer Laser Storm Vac through an infomercial on TV. The offer was Buy One Get One Free (just pay s/h). Also, included Free was the Steamer (again, just pay s/h). Everything through the order was automatated by phone and I was never given a final total. I figured the total to be $183.00. Three days after I placed my order, I was debited in my checking a whopping $353.70. I immediately tried to call the phone number listed on the charge and it just rings and rings. I tried to email them and all I get is an automated response saying they will respond in 24 hours. They never do. I have called every number listed on their website and am on hold forever. No one ever picks up. I have told them through email that I want to cancel my order and want my money back and I do not want to do business with them. I have called my bank re: this and am going to pursue getting my money back. Watch out for this one!

I ordered Singer Lazer Storm vacuum in May 2005, I prepaid with credit card.  It has been months and I haven't received the vacuum yet.  I've contacted customer service  via e-mail, I've called the customer phone # several times.  I've been given different delivery dates but no delivery. I've even written a letter to the company and still no vacuum!!!!!  I believe they should refund my money or send me the vacuum.  They are still advertising the vacuum on  with delivery date within 4-6 weeks from date of order.

tried the Singer Lazer Storm Vacuum and it did not work as advertised on the infomercial.  I returned the vacuum to receive my money back and it has been three months and I still have not received my money back.  I called the customer service number and what on hold one time for one and a half hours and then they disconnected me because by that time it was 5:00p.m.   I called again and was on hold for three hours and no one ever came to the phone and by that time I had to do other things.  I have emailed them 10 times and they have not emailed me back.  The product was loud and did not pick up as promoted on the commercial.  This product is horrible and the customer service was even worse.
