wow!! i thought i was only one of a few, but wow, guess alot of people got this same problem as me, you should check out DEFEND THIS PRODUCT under wind storm. this is not the lazer storm CSRs i've been dealing with, mine are always rude and like hanging up on me. yeah i got charged 396.23 for my one paid a one free vac and replacement filters. oh yeah chris told me before they shipped 4 vacs that he fixed the problem that's why 4 vacs got shipped to me. after many people telling me that fed ex labels were being shipped to me to send back the extra vacs, i finally was told, we don't send labels out you have to ship them back to us a we will refund your shipping charges. i spent 20.00 to ship everything back, and they charged what 80.00 to ship it to me. just that is a scam. oh wells a year goes by and still no refund. i guess i am also out 396.23. i still think singer should handle this problem since it was because of their name so many of us bought them.

I seen the commerical on tv. thought they would make good gifts for our two sons and one daughter that have recently just moved away from home.I purchased 3 units for them, and one for ourselfs in AUGUST 13 2005. After 17 calls, many promises and no response I did a little research and found this: MILINEX POWERSTORM VACUUM 4900 ZAMBRANO STREET COMMERCE CA. 90040 PHONE 800-716-8667 I have tried many times to call, no response. I have wrote 2 letters, return to sender. I have also tried e-mail---www.milinex.com, returned attn:can not be recieved from sender: This is July-2006, ten months later no vacuums, NO ONE TO TALK TOO! AND NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING TOO HELP ME OR ANYONE ELSE OUT! All I know what to do is to tell everyone I can DO NOT order this product! I am out of$353.47 and have recieved nothing in return!!!! thank you BERNIE

I ordered my Lazer Vac (2 vacs & 1 steamer) on 9/28/05. After a couple of months I called to try and find out where my vacuum was and I was told it was on back order. I was never ever notified that it was on backorder. They told me it would be shipped out within 2 weeks. Well that never happened. Finally, on 1/5/06 I called a spoke with Diana and cancelled my order. She said it would take 14-21 days to return the money to my credit card. So far NO MONEY has been returned to me. I've tried to call on multiple occasions and was either on hold for long time, wasn't able to get through, got a message that they were not open due to the transit strike in New York, or talk to someone who plan out lied to me!! All I want is my money back and I don't understand how this is continuing to happen. Why have they not been sued? I wish that I would have seen this before placing my order!

I ordered product back in July 2005. I tried to cancel 2 days later when I saw that my credit card was double charged. I have written over 50 emails to several websites b/c of the various name changes for the same vacuum. I understand that Singer has files a lawsuit against Tactica forbidding them from using the Singer Name. I have become obsessed with trying to get my money back and I have been told several times that my refund has been "processed" but no check has been cut. Sometime they tell me it will take 7 - 10 business days other times 15 - 21 days. I have read the majority of the complaints and see so many similarities. I do not understand how so many people continue to get scammed. Why is this allowed? I made my purchase over a year ago and people are still running into the same problems that I am. I have tried the following email addresses: Customer customerservice@stormvac.com', 'customercare@igia.com' 'customercare@stormvac.com' 'Customer Mail'; 'customercare@milinex.com'; 'response@stormvac.com' and the following phone numbers: 212-967-6917, 212-575-0500 in addition to the 800 numbers. The amount of time and energy that I have spent is ridiculous. For some reason I think if I call daily they will finally get sick of me and give me my refund but I continue to get the run around. The other complaint that I read are amazingly similar. Why is no one doing anything about this. Can all these people be contacted and a lawsuit be filed? I purchases this product based on the Singer trusted name and what seemed like a good deal. The shipping and handling fees are also suspect. They tout the items as being a low price or free...just pay S&H. I returned the 4 vacuums back in October (unopened) and I never did receive my free steamer. I have no idea why I am writing in this information. I can't see anything being done.

Wow, I can't believe how many of us got ripped off. I bought 2 Lazer Storm Vacs, one for me and one for my dad (who is now deceased and never got his cleaner). I ordered in Jun 05 and like many of you, was told time after time it was on back order, it had been upgraded, etc. Finally in Feb 06, I canx my order and was told I would be getting a refund check in 203 weeks. Well, here it is Jun 06 and still no cleaners and now refund check. I called my credit card company and was told it was too late to dispute it (I knew that, but was willing to try). I've tried too many times to count to reach them and now the phone number has been disconnected. Is there anything we can do???? This is just wrong!!

I ordered the vac back in Sept 05 and recieved 4 vacs instead of the one I ordered. After returning the extra vacs, I was told that I would receive a refund in 2 weeks. I have been calling about that refund on a weekly bases and have been told everytime that it is coming. It is now June 06. I never received a refund and now the customer service number has been disconnected.

I ordered the Vac on November 13, 2005, and on November 14, 2005, $348 was charged to my debit card. After waiting 8 weeks, and no Vac, I cancelled the order. I was told I would recieve a refund in two weeks. I have called twice a month since then, and still get the run around. It has now been 7 months! How is it that they can take my money in 24 hours, but still not returned it in 7 months?!?! And I never even saw the amazing Vac they were selling!

I order one (1) vacum, on the 8/25/05 i received four (4) vacumes i called the company to let them know what happen. They told me i have to keep two (2) vacumes i did, i sent two(2) back on 8/26/05 which i was told i'll be refund $329.00 within 30 working days. today is 6/13/06 i hav'ent receive a penny to this day.

On 9/30/05 I ordered 2 Lazer Storms. On 10/03/05 my credit card was charged $261.22. The charges were made by Singer. On February 13, 2006 I was told by Singer that they aren't responsible, IGIA is. Yet they are the ones that charged my account. When I got a hold of Igia they told me it was on back order and would be shipped within 21-30 days. It wasn't. On February 13, they again told me it was on back order and would be shipped in 21-30 days, it wasn't. I then cancelled my order and was told my account would be credited withing 21-30 days. IT wasn't. I spoke with them again on 5/17/06 and was told the same thing. I spoke with a lady named Angela who was snotty and rude. My account still has not been credited.

Ordered the product in February 2006... gave a PO box as an address, they supposedly shipped to a street address (I wonder whose?) I have contacted them on a nearly daily basis since then, and have been promised I would receive my refund in 10 days. In fact, they tell me that every 10 days but so far, no refund. I have even suggested I would call the police and report it as a theft. Is anybody making any headway with this rip-off company???

I ordered the now infamous Singer vac as a result of an infomercial my wife saw. I used an automated system. I really only wanted 2 but received 4 and my credit card was billed for about $434. I returned 2 of these in December 2005 and was told I would receive a credit of $206.85. To date, I have received nothing. Not only that it cost me $46 shipping to return the 2 vacs. If I had not sent them back I could have at least saved $46 and had the 2 additional vacs which I could have given away as presents perhaps. On May 30th, I sent them an e-mail and received an automatic response that I a customer care rep would e-mail within 24 hours. Well, it's been one week more and still no response.

I ordered the singer lazer storm vacuum in august of 05. I ordered the buy one get one for cost of shipping, so in all i should have been sent two vacuums. I was sent and billed for twice that amount. I had trouble from the very start with their service department so I chose to send all four vacuums back. They recieved all their vacuums back in the first week of October. I have called several times, sent endless emails, been given even more promises of refunds, and yet still I haven't received a penny back. I use to just call every day hoping I could bug them into giving me back my money, but now the number just gives me a recorded voice. I don't know what the answer is, but with this many complaints it looks like something could be done.

I had no idea there were so many victims of this scam. I ordered the 2 vacs and steamer after watching an infomercial on TV back in August of 2005. After mpt receiving the items by Sept 21, I called to find out the problem and was told it would be mailed in about 2 weeks. Novemeber called again.. First part of December should receive. Nothing received so called back. Should have by Christmas. Nothing! They said instead of getting the 2005 products, I would be getting the better 2006 products. Still nothing by March. Called and told employee that answered to cancel the order and send refund. Said I should receive on Credit Card by April 1st. Checked with CC Co. on April 7th, still no credit. I have tried to call time and time again with being put on hold for hours only to be hung up on..The latest on the recording is to try back during their business hours even though I am calling during the hours he refers to on the recording. It looks as if we have all learned a hard lesson with the money that we have lost. I guess I didn't miss out on anything as far as the product goes, according to the other complaints I have read, but I am missing out on the $174.82 they took from my credit card. I would appreciate knowing if there is something that can be done to get my money back. I am recently widowed and could use that money. Thank You

I purchasd the Lazer Storm. Like many of you, I have not recuped my money. It sounds like the BBB has been notified along with the attorney general's offices in California and New YOrk. Is there any legal action pending. It seems like there are many of us who got taken in by this.

5/30/2006 - Tamika writes:
First of all, I am relieved to see I am not the only person who is waiting for a refund from the Lazer Storm people. I have been waiting for a refund for $196.85 since November 2005. See, I sent the vacuums back because they were about as cheap as the garbage they didn't pick up. I have called and e-mailed for months about my refund which they keep promising to send month after month. I too have filed complaints with the FTC and the Michigan Attorney General's Office. This too has gotten me nowhere. How can we go about starting a Class Action Lawsuit? This isn't right and something should be done. I can't believe the pittiful response from the FTC. I thought they would have done more.

I ordered the lazer storm on September 13, 2005. I only order the buy one get one free promotion, however once I received the order there were 4 units shipped and I was billed for all 4 units. I then returned all 4 units because I wasn't please with the product at all. Here it is May 30, 2006 and I've yet to receive my refund for any of the products, like everyone else when you call the customer service area they tell you again and again and again that you will receive your refund on a certian date, but you never receive it, and now the customer service area won't even pick up the phone the only thing I get know is that recording. I didn't realize that this was such a widespred problem. I wished I had done my research before ordering the product. I need help badly!!!!! Please If anyone has had any sucess in receiving a refund please let us all know.

I purchased a Lazer Storm Vacuum on 07/24/05, it is now the end of May, 2006. I still have not seen my Vacuums or refund of $222.08. Reading all of these reports has made me ill. I believe reading from both sites all of the comlaints that the victims of the fraud have a Class A Fraud Suite. If there is an attorney willing to take on all of us in a 'Class Action Suite' we may never see our money, but they will never sell another whatever. Is there anyone amoung you that knows an attorney? 'Class Action Law Suites' go on quite frequently. Let me hear.

I ordered a buy one get one free of the Lazer Storm Vacuum in June, 2005. They sent me a double order and charged my account double. When I telephoned them, they immediately picked up the extra order, but to date, I have yet to be credited my refund. I have called many times and have been told I would get my refund on so and so date. To date- thay hasn't happened. It's not the money anymore. It's the fact that I was taken for a scam. Is there anything that can be done?

i, also have fallen victim to this lazerstorm vac scam. i lost $453.63 and never received anything. calls, calls calls ... same as everyone else. i am in new york and have noticed many ppl here mention that they are making complaints to their State Attorneys and many ask about CLASS ACTION SUITS. i would like to know if a suit action has been filed or started in any way in new york. i, as well, will be contacting the NY State Attorney's office to see what information they may have. if there is a suit, you bet i'm going to join it! if anyone has any information about a possible pending class action suit in new york state, please post that info here, i will be checking. i tend to think there is no suit pending at this point, or, if there is, information regarding all the people who bought this product is unavailable. usually, when there is a class action suit, a letter is received by the person possibly effected to alert them about the suit and their eligibility requirements to join. thanks and better luck to all.
