Last may I ordered the Singer Laser Vac. from Igia. They told me 3-6 weeks for delivery. When the product never arrived I called back and was told that it was on back order. This same process took place several times before I was so frustrated that I canceled my order. It has been over a year now and I have put so much time and energy into trying to retrieve my money from this company it is crazy! This is fraud in it's simpilest forms. What they are doing is illegal and immoral. We can't allow these huge corporations to get away with there wicked ways. I can't even describe how upset I was through this whole thing, but I've reach the point where all I want is for people to know about the scams that Igia Singer Laser (AKA: Tacticia Int.) have been doing. We are the little people who work so hard to make a buck and here they are stealing it from us.

I got sucked into this scam, too. I ordered a total of 3 vacuums, one for myself and each of my daughters-in-law. It took many calls, many "holds" and finally a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (you can complain on-line to them, too) to get things straightened out. I was "double-billed," and my own unit was unreasonably "delayed" in shipment, although they didn't waste any time in charging my Discover Card account. I complainted to Discover Card and got the charges suspended (in dispute) until everything was received, but it took months to get everything resolved. At that time, they were advertised as being manufactured by The Singer Co., and who wouldn't trust Singer? I believe it was only after hundreds, if not thousands, of complaints that they took the name "Singer" off the product and changed it to "Millinex." Same product. Different name. The biggest scam in these TV offers is in the "shipping and handling" charges. You pay so much in S&H that even if you return the product for a refund (at your own expense, of course), they have still "made money" on the transaction. I've finally learned that if I wait just a little while, nearly every product sold on TV will come to my local [] or [] store. You may have to pay sales tax, but at least you aren't lining the pockets of the TV rip-off artists with their over-inflated S&H charges. And have you also noticed how they charge SEPARATE S&H for EACH ITEM in the order, even though they SHIP IT ALL IN ONE BOX? THAT should be illegal. I placed my order, by the way, on their then website, and I, too, was excited at the prospect of getting a "Free Steamer." What they don't tell you on TV is that you HAVE TO BUY THE ACCESSORIES that cost OVER $20, PLUS ANOTHER $20 in S&H to get the "free" steamer. Oh, yeah. That's "free," all right.

My wife and I bought the laser storm vac in June of 2005. When we recieved it in August 2005 we tried it and did not like it so we returned it at the beginning of Sept. 2005. We still have not recieved our refund! We called (many times)the 800 number on the invoice to find out about the refund. Leaving voices messages for supervisers. One day one of the employees that I spoke with told me it was pointless to leave a message because they would not call me back. Iwas given a different 800 number to try. I have made many calls to this number, sometimes holding for a long time just to be cutoff. When I call this *00 number I get cut off EVERYTIME iI ask to talk with a manager. I have found out that the companies name is Tactica and the special 800 number set up for problems with the laser strom vac is 1-800-974-8590 the email is response@stormvac.com I am still waiting to see if I get any results with this number

I called to report the error and I finally receieved a phone call back and I was told I would get my refund for the 2 storm vacs in 20 working days. I never have received that refund to this day. By 01-25-06 I had not received the 2 storm vacs and canceled the order. I was told that I would receive my refund in 20 working days which would be 03-03-06. I was also told my first refund would come by 02-02-06. This is 05-18-06 and still my refund money for the orders. I have e-mailed 3 diffrent times and have not received a response in 24 hours like they advertise. Now when you call the new phone # 1-800-716-8667 you still get a recording and after a while they hang up on you. $353.70 lost

I Purchased (through igia) Lazer Storm Vacuum Cleaner Replacement Filters (3 to a Pkg.) on line, on Sept 8, 2005. My Debit Card was Debited $24.40 on Sept. 21, 2005. Ever since Sept. 05, several E-Mails were made to (customerservice@iga.com) and Phone calls (1-800-716-8667 & 1-800-711-8357). When I did reach them, the customer service Rep. kept saying to expect delivery in 7 to 10 days, This kept going on until April 17, 2006. I finally cancelled the order and received a cancellation Number. The Representative said the $24.40 would be would be credited to my account. I called back on May 1, 2006 (Mon) and was told to check my statement on Friday. No such luck. I am hear to write this complaint to let other people know I am one of the many innocent people that has been Scammed. Thank You. Joe

I had ordered 1 vacuum with 1 free as advertised on TV last September 2005.When I received my bank statement, Brass Logistics Singer had taken from my account $313.70 just a few days after I ordered the item which was an amount for 2 vacuums at regular price.Since I thought that maybe I made I mistake for the quantity when I ordered I just decided to have the 2 vacuums +2 free as advertised.I waited for 4 to 6 weeks for them to arrive but to no avail. Finally, I decided to call them and was promised that I will receive it in 2 weeks.Feb 2 came and still with no vacuums I called and talked to Jessica and she told me that my order was not in their system. She asked for all needed informations and I told her that how come you already took from my checking account $313.70 and you don't have my order informations.Feb.10,2006 I called again and was promised by Kathy that I will receive my order by the end of Feb as priority delivery. As usual no vacuums arrived.I called again and talked with somebody and she told me that the second set of vacuum was cancelled and I will receive 1 set only. She told me that I will receive the refund which is half of 313.70 in two weeks time and 2 vacuums in 4 weeks time since they had a backlogged in orders.I told her that's fine.March 13 came with no vacuums and no refund I called my bank and asked them if what they can do to help me have my money back into my account but their representative told me that they can't do anything.I e- mailed at theircustomercare@igia.comseveral times but received an electronic response that someone will answer me in 24 hours of which had never happened.I had experienced also to call them every month, weeks, hours and minutes of which nobody answered and they gonna plced you on hold for hours. This is so inappropriate for such a big company to treat their customers like this.It affected me mentally, emotionally, financially and socially.I was expecting these vacuums since October 2005 hoping that I can give it as a gift to my friends since it is very spetacular as advertised and to have one for myself. It wasted my time trying to contact them.I thought that I am the only one who was experiencing this.Everyday I am thinking on how to file a complaint and even planning to go today to the police to inquire since I'm just new here and I don't know the process.I am so glad that I was able to read all your complaints and the steps that you had taken.Today I will go to my bank and ask their help to have my money back and if not , just for them to help investigate or even file a complaint about this company.

In September of 2005,I ordered the buy one get one for s/h of 12.95, paid in 4 monthly installments of 24.99. Three days later 313.70 was deducted from my bank account. I tried calling customer service to straighten it out and never got through. My daughter finally did get to speak to a person and they said the product would be shipped in 7 to 10 days, I told her if she could get through to them again to cancell the order. she finally got through in December, and was told they would send a refund out within 7 to 10 business days. Nothing came and I then emailed almost everyday and in January I recieved a letter that my refund would be sent in 25 to 30 business days, well it is now April 25 and still nothing. they are also no longer even accknowledging my emails any longer. I would be more than willing to join a class action suite. Not only that I feel these companies or any company that owe a concumer money for any reason, should also be made to pay interest and service charge or penalty to anyone, we as consumers have to if we are late on our payments for any reason. Please add me to a class action suite against this company.

I too ordered 2 laser vacs 9/2005, never received them, cancelled the order (twice). I have been fortunate enough to get through to customer service and was even given a refund date of April 14, 2006 which didn;t happen. I filed a complaint with BBB and got no satisfaction from that. My question is where do I go next? I don't just want to sit back and wait. These people are crooks and should not be allowed to get away with scamming so many people.

I ordered two Lazer Storm Vacuum on August 19, 2004, however four arrived on September 1. I called to have the two extra returned and have them taken off my credit card. They told me FedEx will return to my house in two weeks. This did not occur. I called the company several times and no one answered. Then the company changed them name from to IGIA and now they sell Wind Storm Vacuums. I sent several emails to their coustom care line and did not recieve any assistance. I final recieved a live person in Feburary. She promised that FedEx will pick up the order in 4 to 6 weeks. She even provided me with a reference number. It is now 2 months later and once again on one will answer the phone or someone will pick-up and immediately hang up. The product does not work and I paid for four vacuums eventhough I ordered two.

I too fell into the trap of ordering off of an infomercial. I ordered the vaccum back in June 2005. Called them in August, September only to be told they are backordered and will get the shipment out to me ASAP. They also said that they will call me when they are ready to ship. Well, I did get a call October at 3:00am telling me that they are shipping the order via FEDEX. Well I called in December, they tell me the same story, it's backordered. Well January comes and one agent went on to tell me it has been shipped and you should receive it in a week. Well guess what - still no product. I called them again in March 2006 and they said that they will be crediting my credit card, because they do not have the product. We'll see, I'm waiting for my credit card statement. If anyone is pursuing this, please let me know. They deserve to get busted.

I purchased one sweeper received 4 just like everyone else. They debitted my account for double the amount and to this date 4/4/06 I have not my money back. They did finally pick up the extra 2 vacumes in September of 05 but never credited my account. I have all the names of people I have spoken with but now I can see it is a lost cause. I will learn from my error and never order on line or from info mercials again. If anyone is able to give this company its just deserts I would truely be appreciative.

In September 05 I purchased the Storm Vac per the informercial on television. I immediately told my husband and he asked me to cancel it because we could not afford it. I called and was informed that the product already shipped (how, i had just palced it) but they informed me that when I receive the product, I can send it back. That is what I did, i didnt even open the box, i shipped it back. I even received a Fedex proof of delivery and to date they never refunded me the money. In fact, they charged me extra. I am poor, and I am out of $35370. I call every day, speak to different people, there is one supervisor Monica Smith and she doesn't even take my call. they still tell me that they will put in the request to have it refundd. still i am out of the money. what can i do. i can't afford a lawyer i just don't know what to do. when i first started to call all of the representatives had a field trip with me, they laughed at me they told me they didn't have a last name it was horrible.

Like all of the others that have posted I have been ripped off to the tune of $450.00. I was also sent 4 vacs when I only ordered 1. After many e-mails and phone calls I returned the vacuums to the address on the box. I have spent hours researching this company. Here is what I have found. Call the following number and you will talk to a live person. Ask for Judy or Julie in Customer service. If that doesn't work ask for Monica Smith. I think they are the same person. I have called and talked to someone every day for the past 2 weeks. I will continue to call every day until I get my money. If you Google Tactica International you will find out all kinds of information. The number is 217-967-6917. None of the 800 numbers ever work. Let's all keep after this company. They don't think they are doing anthing wrong. One more thing. On Feb 28th the Early show featured this product. Everyone needs to e-mail the Early show and let them know what a rip-off this is. I did.

In Aug of 2005 when the item was never received I cancelled the order and was told I would receive my refund with in 7-10 days. When the refund wasn't received I contacted them, and just like everyone else I played phone games with them. Waiting on hold for up to 2hrs only to be disconnected. When I was lucky enough to get a real person on the phone I was lied to and again hung up on. If I dared to ask for an address or the name of the Pres. I was hung up on again. I have never be so upset in my life. I have called and emailed more times than I can count. I don't know what else I can do. I would love to be included in the class action law suit. Like all of the people who complained on this site, I too ordered the Singer Lazer Storm vacuumn. on September 3, 2005. I was assured by "Betty" on the phone that I would be billed on my debit card an initial payment of 76.00, which would be for one payment on the vacuumn cleaners plus shipping for the vacs that would come to my P.O. Box. I was assured that there would be no problem of shipping the vacuumns to my P.O. Box in two separate shipments. Then, I was to be billed for two additional payments of $39.00 each for a total of $156.00 On September 15, 2005 I received my bank statment and learned that they had taken $179.78 out of my bank account on my debit card causing an overdraft. I had told Betty that, and was assured that no more than $76.00 could be taken out initially because it wouldn't be covered by my bank account at that time. LIke every one else I did my best to contact the company, I.G.I.A. I was told on the CustomerCare number given, by a recorded message, that there would be an additional 5 - 7 weeks before the product would be shipped, and to email the company, which I did. When they emailed me back it said to call the Customer Care number. After going in a circle several times, and checking out the company on the internet, I cancelled my order in writing, and demanded the $179.78 be returned to me. After I.G.I.A received my email they shipped the product to me overnight by FedEX. I did not open the package, but sent it back, refusing to to accept it. I did, however, make a copy of the bill that came with the package. The bill was as follows: 4 Lazer Storm Vacums @ $239.70 Taxes 25.88 Shipping and Handling $74.00 Total Balance owed $339.58 This was after they had already taken $179.50 out of my bank account. I reported this as fraud to my bank, who did an investigation on their own and concluded that I was right, that the whole transaction was fraudulent. My bank canceled the debit card that I.G.I.A. had used and issued me a new one with a new number so this company could not help themselves to any more money from me. I kept all of the documentation, and had planned to file a complaint with the FTC and the Attorney General's office in California, since the product was shipped out of California. However, I got lazy and never filed the complaint. I thought the whole thing was in the past for me. However I still have it all documented in writing. Yesterday I received a letter from a collection agency from Bohemia NY, claiming that I owe this company $159.80 The company had tried to take more money out of my bank account, and complained that my debit card number was no longer valid. In the complaint against me it was also claimed that I had received the product and had refused to pay for it. which, of course, was a blatent lie. I do not have the products, and they had already confiscated more money than the cost of the products. That was the final straw. I will gladly file complaints with anyone I need to. This company is praticing fraud and need to be stopped by any means possible. I will call this Collection agency on Monday, and they better not file this report with the Credit agencies after talking to me, or I will include them in the fraud charges. Phyllis

The Nightmare of the Singer Lazor Storm gets even more horrific! I have a similiar story to the Singer Lazor storm complaints posted by others on this site, so I will not bore you with all the details of my similiar account. I will tell you that through my banks merchant card services, they were able to recover the $393+ dollars I was charged and I did what a lot of you have done, lodged a BBB complaint that went unanswered, filed online with the FTC, and got a pathetic letter from them stating my complaint had been filed and a consumer booklet was in the mail to me ( never recieved ), I could never get through to Singer Lazor via emails or by phone, etc. etc. But now it is February 25, 2006 and the latest con is- I just recieved a "collection letter" from Eastern Collection Coorporation saying "Wind Storm Vacuum" has placed me with this "National Collection Agency" about an overdue balance for merchandise that was shipped to me. This "collection" letter states my credit card could not be authorized for payment, and instructs me to give them complete credit card information or send a check today! I looked them up online, google the name, you'll find it:http://www.ecc-online.com/and this "Collection Agency" is a member of DMA, a Direct Marketing Association. I want to alert everyone that the Lazor Strom, Wind Storm, IGIA NIGHTMARE has possibly a new SCAM running, trying to scare people into thinking they are being sent to collections!!!! The company is ECC 1626 Locust Avenue, Bohemia, NY 11716. Like I said, the nightmare continues....
