I ordered a Lazer Storm Vacuum back in October 1995, Paid for it by credit card and never received the product, nor did I get any information from the company after many attempts to contact them. I will never order anything from an informercial again. What a ripoff! I have never been so upset.

Help!! I guess I'm not the only victim of this vaccum scam, I too ordered the infamous vaccum back in July and they bilked me for $313.80. I've called each and every month since and have been placed on hold for as long as three hours then they have the nerve and become angry when I've complanied that they've even hung up on me. I believe they even have caller ID because when I call it's on hold when I have someone else call for me it's the same reply oh you account will be credited in 10 business days BULL!! It's been seven month's now. They've even informed me that we can't send you a check because you paid with your debit card, well thats cash isn't it?I've asked my daughter in-law up in NYC to contact 20/20 or Primetime somebody!! Oprah I'll even ask her for help I'm on a fixed income I can't afford to be out any money. Maybe if this reachs TV and is exposed then they'll wake up.

I ordered the storm vac from IGIA and nothing has ever come to my home. I am very upset about this. I have been charged for these vacuums(although not as much as some of the other customers) and have received nothing. The phone numbers are fraudulant as is the e-mail address. Something has to be done to prevent these people from scamming everyone. Please help us!!!

In September 2005, I ordered one vacuum cleaner and was told that the second was free. So I agreed to get the two. Instead to my amazement I received four. I was also charged for four vacuum cleaners on my credit card bill! I called to see how this could be corrected and was told to return the two extra. I promptly did so as I was told that they would then refund me the money within 6 weeks. It is now approaching mid February and I have still to receive my credit due me. I sent letters, emails and made several phone calls. I was put on hold for 90 minutes when I finally gave up. How is this going to be resolved? If there are so many complaints against them, is there no way this can be reported to better business bureau? It is a lot of money for a retired senior person to be robbed of by a comany as big as Singer. I feel foolish having succumbed to such a scam.

I also ordered this vacuum (2 for one price) in August '05. I was billed for four!! They debited me for $330 instead of $150-something. I called which always takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get someone and they said they would credit my account. This never happened. I cancelled everything in November and I am still out $330. I am so frustrated as I have called every month since October and nothing ever happens.

My experience is also like most saw the vacuum advertised on TV in September. It was buy one get two and the final cost was about $179.00. Was suppose to ship in six weeks, but after 8 weeks I still didn't receive anything. Then in December a charge for $371.00 was put on my credit card.( Still no sweeper) I called the credit card company right away and complained. The credit card company has given me a credit while they are investigating this company. What I find interesting is that per the court ordered Injunction referenced in another letter on this sight, the company was ordered to stop all shipments after October 4, 2005. So my account was charged for something that by court order could never be shipped. This is the type of criminals we are dealing with. I hope you all get some justice. Good luck!

Ordered vac August 20, 2005. They charged my account on September 23, however they have NEVER shipped the product. Several phone calls to complain - several times their reps just hung up! Now I find that on September 28, a Federal judge in Yew York issued an injunction against Tactica (IGIA) PROHIBITING THESE SCUM from continuing their ripoff!!! Go to:http://www.singerco.com/company/news.html** NOW WE KNOW WE WILL NEVER SEE OUR MONEY -OR- THE MERCHANDISE **

My husband purchased two vacuums from the infomercial in AUGUST 2005. When we got our credit card bill, it was billed 200 over what we were told the price would be. We called the 800 number on the statement and they told us we had ordered 3 vacuums instead of 2. They stated they would refund the amount for the extra vacuum. But that the vacuum order would now have tobe resubmitted and it would take another 8-12 weeks to get the vacuum. Needless to say, they never credited back the amount to our card and as of yet, no vacuums. I have tried to call the 800 number again but always get a busy signal. I then tried to call 2125750500 and am always put on hold. I am now in the process of disputing the amount with our charge card company. These people are crooks.

i was up late early in december and saw an informercial on the lazer storm vac . buy one at 3 payments of 39.95 and get a second one free as well as a free steamer. i called the # and placed my order and made the payment by my debitcard. on dec 7 th they took ( stole 313.70 out of my acct). I have made several calls to them but am unable to talk with alive person. there is no way i would have ordered this item at that kind of cost. these people are scamming everyone.Furthermore ,I never recieved the vac. I have called my bank to place a complaint. and I hope they can direct me how to get my money back. this is theft pure and simple and this company needs to have legal action taken against it.

I ordered 2 lazerstorm in July 2005 and received 4 (not 2) about 3 weeks later. I tried to reach the company to get return instructions, but it seemed impossible to get thru. I finally simply sent the 2 extra units back to the address on the receipt. Then a couple of weeks later, I finally checked out the 2 units I had kept and decided that they were junk and returned them back to Singer. I also emailed their company requesting return instructions, but did not get a response. Finally, one morning I called Lazerstorm and actually spoke with a person...you have to stay on hold about 30-40 minutes. They confirmed receipt of the first two units, but not the second pair. I tracked down the delivery ticket and faxed the UPS signed receipt back to Lazerstorm. I then called back and after waiting on hold for the obligatory 40 minutes, reached someone who said that my account would be credited. I even received an email stating that I would be credited for the 4 units. That was about 2 months ago and so far nothing has shown up on my bills. Needless to say, I don't recommend this product or the company.

Like many of the stories before this one, we were taken for almost $400.00 from these people. You can NEVER reach these poeple, their answering menu places you on hold. I have subsequently learned that their call system hangs you up after 30 minutes, but you don't know this. My wife was once able to speak with a real person who told us our refund had been delayed because the company had been attacked by a virus and then the company had moved to NY. Emails are never returned. This is a total scam and my bank refuses to credit my account back the funds.

Just like many others - I ordered the vacuum back in Sept. 2005. I was billed twice and since I could not reach them I had my credit card company take off one of the charges. It is now January 20th and I still cannot reach anyone by phone or email. By phone if you accually get through then you stay on hold and never speak with anyone (stayed on there for over 1 hour once). If you try to email then it's returned as undeliverable. Now I see the exact same commercial with a different name. BIG TIME SCAM - anyone who knows how to get through please post on this webpage.
