Was considering buying Leg Magic. Entered my credit card info but then searched the 'net to see if there was a less expensive alternative and found about the scams. I exited the Leg Magic program without continuing and still got charged $200! Got an email from As Seen On TV and when you respond to it, it gets bounced back. I am working with my credit card company to catch these crooks. This is the second problem I've had with As Seen on TV. Don't trust it! I lost $40 on something I tried on a trial, returned and never got my money back and they never respond or answer their phones.

Be careful when even visiting their website, before you even submitt the order, the order is already placed for you even if you back out of it and decide you don't want to go thru with it. That's what happened to me. I filled that all my info including my cc number but once I got to checkout and saw the final price and decided i'm not gonna buy this products especially since they're selling it on ebay for about $100. Couple weeks later I get this big box under my door and it is leg magic. I didn't even order IT!!!! But I decided to give it a try since i had it. The machine is not of the best quality but its O.K. I'm in pretty good shape and I couldn't do more than 60 seconds on this thing. I would recommend. After few weeks of arguing about complete refund of hte product, I finally got my money back but it was a big hustle. I wouldn't buy from them ever again, and I stronly urge you not to deal with this company. Buy from ebay if you really want this piece of C***P.

I feel so silly. I too got sucked in by LegMagic. Had problems ordering from the web site but finally did get a confirmation. I received the product and then another. I ordered only 1. When I received the second shipment, I did a "refusal" since it was a duplicate. It was returned via USPS as unopened with the proper endorsements. That was almost 4 weeks ago. When I checked by bank account this morning, they hit me for $150. They have already charged me twice $14.95 plus twice $49.95. They now have almost $300 of my money. When I called about this last $150 charge, they claim that my return has not yet been recieved. How can they get away with this? Although the product is okay, I would recommned that NO ONE ORDERS THIS PRODUCT!

I received this product in the mail, it required a signature at the post office. I had my mother pick it up since I couldn't get to the post office. When I got home I have two hugh boxes with nothing on the out side to tell me what it is. I opened the first one and saw it was the Leg Magic. This is not a product I would have bought. There was nothing on or in the box indcating where it came from, who ordered it or anything. It had a pitcure of the product and at the bottom it said if you return the Item before the 30 trial is over you must return the riser also for a full refund. There was no address, phone, or any place to send it back to. I am not paying for this, I didn't order it and I'm not paying the postage to have it returned. I am however turning this over to the postage investagations and let them deal with it.

After assembling this product you step onto the side foot pedals (hold on as you get on as the foot pedals slide out from underneath you). I have arthritis and felt this might help my hips in some way. This product is the most PAINFUL piece of exercise equipment I've ever used. Someone in Product Development overlooked a major defect in this product: the resistence involved in moving the foot pedals back & forth was so excruitiatingly painful for me that I had to discontinue its useage. I am still on pain meds one week later!

I purchased my Leg Magic after viewing a late night infomercial. Wish I had read the blog on this product first. If so, I would not have ordered. It arrived via USPS. I picked up at post office on 7/13. I have yet to use this product. When I opened the box, I searched for written materials. The contents were disorganized, and I could not find instructions on how to assemble. I understood that no assembly would be required. Not so. A written document instructed me to be sure and read owner's manual thoroughly before use. I had to rummage through all the contents of the box to find the manual - very frustrating. I noticed this product is made in China, so this explains why contents are not very helpful. The product arrived with a dvd disc. I would not have ordered this as I do not own a dvd player. Hence, I have not viewed the video information, nor do I have complete contact information for this company. From this site, I sent an email requesting return information. The reply was not helpful at all. I was told to "contact the company from where I purchased." I am in my trial period, and have not even been able to use the product. I suspect they are just scaming and letting time waste so my trial period is over so they can fully charge me for the product. I want to return it and I want a full refund. I am sending a copy of this communication to my state's Attorney General's office and reporting this company to the BBB in my area. I will have not further dealings with this company if I can help it. I will also contact my bank and have them refuse any further charges from this company.

I bought the "Leg Magic" after watching the infomercial during an attack of insomnia. It arrived within 2 weeks and I received just the 1 I ordered. It arrived broken. I immediately called customer service to return. I asked for them to send a return shipping label or send UPS to pick it up. They said they won't do either. I asked to talk to a supervisor. She was "on break". I asked for another one. After 15 mins. they said they would send one. We'll see. I'm going to the bank tomorrow to put a stop payment on my debit card. NEVER again!

Yes, I'm like the others who didn't actually confirm the order but got it anyway...... Ok, this company has a problem with their website purchase process. As an Web Producer, I know what the problem is and have alerted the parent company's President to this problem. Right now if you go into to purchase and decide before order processing that you opt out of purchasing, there is no option to do this. Another words, the site is set up that when you add your information the order is automatically processed. That's not standard ecommerce procedures and I have informed the President of this and will continue to advise him on this so, others like myself will not receive the Leg Magic or any other product, you did not confirm purchasing. Actually, in my case I must have back spaced or something because my order was duplicated! The company is taking back the merchandise and giving me my credits. Case resolved. Would like others to not go through this and it's certainly a lose-lose for a company in terms of reputation and costs. I know that the President will look into this and work with his internet team to resolve this. Will keep you guys posted. I'm happy with the results thus far. Keep a positive attitude and stay calm but don't allow yourself to be a doormat either.

I bought the leg magic and worked with it for about 2 weeks. I didn't see much of a result, so I packed it up and sent it back. No return lable from the origional packaging - Very fishy! I shipped it back certified mail and boy was I glad I did... about two weeks had past and no refund had been credited to my account. I called the company and they said they didn't recieve my package. I found my tracking number and called them back. The package was delivered on July 31st and the conversation I had with customer service was 8/17. Over TWO WEEKS for them to find my package and start the refunding process that was going to take another week... WHAT A SCAM. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I feel like the biggest idiot in the world for even considering this product. I have severe Restless Leg Syndrome, and wanted to try this out for my many sleepless nights, hoping it would ease my symptoms.
First and foremost, I did not order this. I did enter in my cc# and address (via website), and was prompted to press "continue." When I did, the payment options appeared. The $14.95 trial offer was nowhere to be found. I was furious. I tried to go back, but the website wouldn't let me. I even tried to use another browser, but the website was "locked" at the page I left off on. I never received a confirmation, nor did I ever press "submit" on the payment option page. I just closed out of it, relieved that I didn't follow through with the ordering process. However, the stupid thing arrived about a week later, and yes, I was charged. I did try to use it and not only is it a loud, cheap, wobbly piece of plastic, it's also very, very bad on the knees. If you don't have knee problems already, use this product. You will soon. In addition, I was under the impression from the infomercial that "Rosie" would pay to have it shipped back if anyone wasn't completely satisfied. Customer service has told me that I must pay for shipping now. I do not want this junk in my house. I want it out of my sight, I want a refund, and I will not pay to have this shipped back. Any suggestions?

I too ordered leg magic. The product is good and effective. But the company sucks. During the ordering process every extra thing the sales rep tried to sale to me I turned down. I could hear the resentment in her voice (talk about customer service). Plus it took almost two months to arrive and was just sitting on my porch when I arrived home.

I too went onto the website and purchased this product. I had difficulty with the order on-line and ended up closing out and doing the order correctly - at least I thought. I received my machine within a week and have been using it and it does seem to work muscles I didn't know I had. Everything was going fine when I finally received a 2nd machine. That is when I found this site...wish I had found it earlier. I am afraid now that I will be in for the same hassle as everyone else...but let's see.

About 2 months ago, I placed an order for this machine. One of the questions the sales staff asks you is would you like a second machine for anyone in your family to try while you are enjoying yours? I said no... The machine took almost a month to arrive. I found out after the fact that a second one was mis-delivered to a like numbered address in my complex. [I have identical "north" and "south" numbers in my development]. My neighbors were out of the country for over a month, so the thing just sat on their porch. [I think Leg Magic deliberately "staggers" or deliberately misdelivers these items, so they can justify charging for two machines]. That is why some people get them like pennies from heaven. "My" machine was delivered in a box full of holes, tears and the label was mostly ripped off. So now, I have...2 machines. I tried the Leg Magic machine and it hurt my knees and ankles so badly, I needed mega doses of motrin just to be able get to sleep that night. Ok, it was a bad idea and a bad choice. How the hell can I get them to take back TWO machines? Sincerely, Maureen North Palm Beach, FL

First I wish I had seen this website before I ordered this thing. DO NOT get this if you have osteoarthritis in your knees. My left knee is grade 4 osteoarthitis and I thought this would be easy on them - when I ordered it they told me (of course they did) that it would not hurt my knees. The first and only time I used it, I had to scream for my husband to get me off of it. And for the person looking for the return address, it is: Merchandise Direct, 300 Returns Road, Wallingford, CT 06493. Caveat Emptor!

My mother originally ordered one and she likes it to help firm her butt. I tried hers and also liked it. The video that comes with it is recommended. It works well with the other exercises (plunges) shown on the video. My mother uses hers along with her own exercises and plunges rather than the video. If you have bad knees you shouldn't use it. It actually strengthens mine. I've had knee problems in the past, but I have had no problems as long as I'm using knee strengthening exercises with it as suggested in the video, and as always, you should check with your doctor before following any exercise program with any exercise equipment. My complaint is not the leg magic itself, it is receiving two of them when I just ordered one online. I put it on my debit card so when they drew out for the second leg magic, that at the time I had no knowledge of, it left my account negative. With your bank and credit card bank you can dispute the charge and get a credit. I do want to send the second one back - that I got a month after the first one was sent. I called the number to leg magic from their site and asked for a return shipping label. I was told they would send one. It's been two weeks and I have not received it. You can report them to the BBB and the States Attorney General in Connecticut which is the state shown on the Leg Magic site which has a P.O. box address. You can also complain on the Government site: govspot.com, and in that site in the box, "General Sites," use the FIC Complaint form.
