The product is worse than worthless. My glasses that were scratch are now scratchy, blurry and have fuzz balls. Don't buy! I am generally good at following directions and able to make things work, but nobody can make this stuff work. Buy yourself some new glasses instead!

I ordered this product in January of '06, and still have not received the product. From other reviews, it sounds like I am better off not receiving the product. However, I am still out the money, and the time wasted trying to get the product or a refund. I say a class action lawsuit is in order. The FTC will never do anything about it. All they do is draw their monthly paycheck.

I purchased this product in hopes of it doing what the infomercial said. My glasses did not have any coating on them and they still were hazy and cloudy. On the infomercial it showed using a q-tip applicator why do they have one attached that leaves fibers all over your lenses. This product is a fraud. Not only did they get my money for this but I bought the binoculars and have never seen them either. Buyers Beware. Now I know why people hate to buy as seen on tv products. This one sucks.

I was told to try this product to fix scratches on my son's iPod video. After reading this, I think I'm going to try another product. It's a little more expensive, but still cheaper that a new iPod video.

I was about 10 seconds away from ordering this product for my prescription glasses. Thank God, I decided to take a minute to read the reviews of customers who had already tried this product. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you all for informing me as well as others on this scam. I am a single mother of three who at this time can not afford another pair of glasses. I also don't have money to just give away to dishonest people. Again...thank you.

I wanted to order one bottle of Lens Dpx. There was a page that said do you want to upgrade your order -which led me to believe I was getting it for a discount price when in fact it was placing an order for two bottles. There was no page to review and edit your order- it just immediately sent and charged me for two. I tried to call the company right away and cancel my order. I only got recordings and then left a voice message telling them that I wanted to cancel my order because I was misled. Nobody ever called me back. That same day I went to the website and sent an email cancellation notice. Shortly after I received a reply saying that they do not have products with those order numbers. Two weeks later I received two seperate packages of Lens Dpx kits. Neither one contained any information with my order numbers or information about how to return the item. I tried to call the company but got recordings again and then tried to email again but when I tried to send the email it said that this service isn't available. If this company isn't a total fraud then they are horrible at customer service and seem shady with not letting you review and edit your order before actually agreeing to the payment. I would just advise you to avoid any product from this company!

I bought and tried this stuff a couple years ago, on a pair of glasses whose lenses had gotten a little hazy from cleaning them with kleenex over the years (now I use a soft cotton T-shirt--wish I'd started out using that). In my first attempts, I applied too much of the coating, and the first effect was somewhat gloppy, but after cleaning off these first attempts and trying a couple more times, I finally managed to get a nice, even, clear coating (but the little tiny fibers in the applicator kept flaking off the brush, and onto the lenses, requiring even more work to remove those). The results looked very good--none of the haziness other people experienced--but when I put on the glasses, I immediately realized they weren't usable, since the shiny coating caused so much reflection inside the lens, that it was now uncomfortable to see through them. Guess that's why they say it's not for lenses with an anti-glare coating, since you're going to be disappointed by the difference (my glasses originally had an anti-glare coating, but it had largely worn off by the time I tried this stuff). Fortunately, the cleaning chemical that came with the stuff, successfully cleaned off the new coating.

Alright, how can I get in on a class action? Anyone willing to get a lawyer? Lets nail these guys, I lost HUNDREDS of dollars on my glasses!

After reading all the complaints on this website, I'm convinced the marketing of this product is nothing but a scam. I became suspicious when after I placed my order, the website informed me that it would take 3-5 weeks for the order to be shipped via standard shipping. That's highly unusual and much longer than for other products I have ordered on the internet. Moreover, the website tried to sell me three other products before I could finalize my order. I have submitted a complaint to the FTC via their website and encourage others to do the same. Maybe if enough people complain, the FTC might actually do something to put this company out of business. Like others who have been taken, I wish I had checked this website before purchasing this useless product.

I purchasde the Lens Dr. and tried it several times on an expensive pair of prescription reading glasses. I followed the directions carefully and the Lens Dr. not only didn't fill in the minor scratches, but it formed a cloudy haze over the entire two lenses...ergo glasses are ruined! The product is a ripoff! I am trying to get a refund, but cannot seem to get an address ore phone number. Any suggestions?

My husband ordered Lens Drx in Oct. 2007. After a month, he called to see where the order was. He should have just let them have the money. The "special" cleanser is nothing more than regular glass cleaner. The goop in the other bottle has to be applied with the attached applicator, much like shoe polish. You're supposed to apply one coat, overlapping as you go, wait awhile, then apply a second coat. The stuff is goopy, sticky and results in a cloudy haze all over the lenses. It is too thick to find it's own level, so you can see every swipe of the applicator. I tried to remove it with the "special" cleanser. With repeated applications, I was able to remove all but the final haze. Luckily, the glasses were almost over the hill, so losing them is no big deal, but paying money to have goop on your glasses is a very big deal. If they lose your order, don't go looking for it. Consider it a lesson learned and move on.

I wish I would have never bought this stuff! It smeared all over my lens and left streaks. Thanks goodness the cleaning solution removed the mess. I just wasted my money and I was stupid enough to order two kits! Class action suit, count me in!

As many others here have stated, I wish I had seen this site BEFORE I ordered Lens Dr... I received it promptly, but then I went use it on my Military Grade Randolph Engineering Aviator sunglasses, which had several scratches on the right side lens. The lens in these sunglasses are made of otical quality Glass, not plastic polymer...anyhow, the Lens Dr product left an opaque film and the glass lens was destroyed. I had planned to get a new pair of glasses anyhow, so I suppose that this was an experiment in wishful thinking..NEVER AGAIN..!

I applied Lens Dr. to my Ray Bans strictly following the instructions. Short story, the lens are destroyed for future use. I have ordered a new pair of lens for $42 from an optician. Not worth being frustrated by calling and talking to someone in India. I do not recommend the Lens Dr., but strongly urge that others not purchase this fradulantly claimed merchandise.

Wow, I don't feel quite as lonely or silly as I used to. I thought I could get a "like new" pair of glasses for less than 20 bucks. Same story. Nothing worked, followed directions and kept hoping. It sure didn't take out the scratches (and I have a bunch) like it did on TV! I even "tried" to belive it had worked for about 10 minutes trying to focus thru that coating of gunk. Finally after admitting defeat, I was able to use their cleaner to get my good old scratches back. Maybe I did get a better pair of glasses after all, I know I appreciate them much more now, scratches and all. Just couldn't hang with that film. Sounds like I'm lucky too, at least I was ABLE to wash the junk off mine. Can't really report any shipping problems, I live way out in the boon docks, so it takes a long time to even get the daily paper....but I'm now afraid to get the credit card statement. I thought I'd only lost 20.00, I'm now afraid I may have lost more. I opted for the extra bottle too. Is anybody having any luck with their credit cards reversing the charges? I guess you can always dispute the bill but perhaps at your credit risk..?

Warning! Do not buy or use the Lens Dr product unless you want to ruin your glasses. My story is the same as what I have read from others. I used it on a pair of glasses that were broken first just in case it didn't work, I didn't want to ruin my 350.00 pair that I use daily. It looked so bad like I had painted streaks all over it. It had a film over it like cellophane would look stuck on a glass surface. It was horrible and it ruined them including the frames. The applicator releases lint and then it comes onto your lens with the next stroke. The mode of applying this product is such a joke in that skinny container that has enough room only for a swab to fit. So if the swab retains the dirt and lint, it will undoubtedly circulate it right back into the container to contaminate all future applications. The instructions do not give you enough clarification on how to really work this product since it came out all wrong apparently and I followed them very closely. It was an awful product. Nobody should buy this especially since it deals with fixing a very expensive item that we all depend on daily, our glasses! I will get my credit card company to work on a reversal of the purchase of that product.

Do not buy this garbage. My problem was the same as all of the other complaints. I did manage to get ahold of this bunch and Mr. Grillo and Mr. MacKinnon said that it is "not intended to be used by anyone under 8 and that I should have read the instructions". HA! They told me a was a cheap a$$ because I told them they ruined my $350 glasses and told me to get contacts instead. I did some research and Mr. Grillo wears glasses himself. I wonder if he's smeared this garbage on his glasses? Don't use it Mr. Grillo.....It's Garbage!!!!!!!
