I have seen their TV advertisement for pain relief of arthritis which sounded very effective. I called and got a machine asking me what product I wanted to order, and, asked for my credit card information. I foolishly gave it. When I realized it costed more than it was advertised on the TV that is $39.95 more, I wanted to cancel the order immediately. However, it was a recording, and, I couldn't talk to a life person. I had to call their customer service on Monday. ( It was Friday evening when I called them ). On Monday, I called their customer service to cancel the order, they advised me it was too late, it was shipped already. If I don't want it just shipped it back. I shipped it back and didn't get the refund until a month later, however, they again charged my visa with second installment of $39.95 for shipping and handling and the tax.( which is Can$41.45). I can understand the shipping and handling charges but not the tax as I never want to buy this merchandise. I wasn't able to cancel the order on the spot as it was a machine who can't accept my cancellation then and there.

In conclusion, please do not order anything from Light Relief as you can't have a second thought even when you realized the total cost is not you wanted to pay at that moment of ordering it. Now, I felt cheated or forced to pay $41.45 for something I wanted to cancel right away at the time I called them. I felt like a fool to order over the phone from Light Relief who uses automatic machine to take order and not a live person so that you can't cancel the order and had to go through the pain and frustration of paying so much for something you wanted to cancel at the point of sale!!!

I now learn a lesson not to order anything from TV advertisement especially, from this Merchant- Light Relief. I sincerely hope no one has to go through the pain and frustration of feeling stupid and feeling being cheated with this Light Relief's way of doing business.

Sincerely,

Fung

I ordered this product on 2/17/08. On 2/19/08, I tried to cancel the order but said it had already been shipped. I received it, did not open it, and returned it. I got the tracking number and emailed them. On 4/1/08, I was told that I would receive reimbursement on my credit card and an order confirmation was given. It is now 4/15/08 and when I called today, they put me on hold and never came back on the phone. I have been duped.

I ordered this product as a Christams gift and told the reciever that it came with a guarantee, if he didn't like it, I would send it back. He decided it was worthless and I agreed to return it. Within the 30 days,I called the customer service number and was provided with a return authorization # and was told to send it back. I also had signed up for the auto shipment of vitamin supplements that was offered with this product and also cancelled that subscription when I called the first time. I was provided with a confirmation # that the subscription had been cancelled. Several weeks later, I was still watching for my credit card refund when I recieved another shipment of the vitamins. I returned that shipment refused return to sender. I called the company again and they stated that they did not have a record of my first call but that they would cancel it then. Today, about 2 months later, I still have not recieved any refunds and just got another shipment of the vitamins. I called the company again and they stated that they had no record of me ever having called or returned anything. The representative that I talked to today stated that he would AGAIN cancel the vitamin shipments but that the one that I recieved today was non-refundable and non-returnable. I told him that I wasn't going to pay for anything that I had cancelled months ago. He also stated that they never provide return authorization #'s or cancellation confirmation #'s even though I called the same customer service number off the same sheet of paper that I had called the previous 2 times. I am now disputing their charges with my credit card company and want to make sure that no one else gets caught up in this nightmare!!

I purchased this piece of crap before doing any real internet search on it( no fault but my own)!! If only...the product is supposed to give complete back pain relief. Only thing I got out of it was a great big headache. I used the piece of crap for two weeks, and then it stopped "lighting up." When I called to ask for a refund (You know they swear by that 30-day return policy. "If for any reason you are not satisifed...." you know the rest.)I was told that it may "start working again" and to give it more time. Whatever!! I told her I wanted to return it, so I was given a return # to put on the package. Did that, in the same box it came in. Not only did I not receive a credit to my account, they took out the second payment due the next month. Won't return my emails and the phone calls are always the same.."what's your name, address, phone #, return #, etc. We'll get right back to you". What the devil steals from me, God will pay back 10 fold!!!

Not only did I never receive this product- but my credit card information was stolen and used! I tried to email and call the company, but got NO response.

I returned a duplicate product that was sent to me and requested that a refund be made. Three weeks later, I emailed asking when I would receive the refund for the unordered, second shipment. Three days later, I received an email saying that they had no record of receipt but that they would refund as soon as they received proof of delivery. I faxed a copy of the USPS proof of delivery card and called to see that the fax arrived. I was told they could not access faxes for 48 hours since the machine was in another building. When I asked to be transferred, the customer rep hung up. I called again and asked for the name on the email and was told no such person worked for their company.
