My story is about the same except I never got the product or was charged for the longest time. All of a sudden, it showed up on my credit card. I called the next day and they "claimed" it shipped out the day before. I was told to return it without opening it so I did. I guess we will see if they credit my account!

I saw this advertised on television and thought it would be a good protection for my 3-year old dryer. Of course, one cannot talk to a live person and has to give all information to a computer. The price was supposed to be $10 plus shipping. Then they said tey can provide the "longer" version at nocharge, just pay the shipping. I agreed to that. Then as a final shot they asked if I wanted expedited shipping (if I said no, it would take take to 12 weeeks to arrive. This made me angry, and I told them to forget the order. That of course was the end of the call. It arrived in about five weeks, and it's a piece of junk. The charge to my credit card was $37! Things got rapidly worse when I called Capital One (under Master Card). A very rude lady told me that if didn't have written proof of what the price was that nothing would be done for me, other than a perfunctory report. When I protested that I was the proof as I was paying attention to what the ad said, she told me that my word was worth nothing. When I pointed out to her that I spend 3 to 4 thousand dollars a month with this credit card, and I do not expect to be treated like this, she said that none of that was of any of her concern. Furthermore, she was not in the least interested in hearing the 15 complaints from others who had been swindled (see Justin leonard's Informercail SCAMS.com). How they let people like this deal with the public is unbelievable. Sanford []

I am furious. I wish I read these before I ordered. Never did the website say how much the shipping was going to be until after confirmation of the order. So, it was $15.90 for shipping. I pay less shipping for a video camera!! And to top it off, they charged me an extra $10 for an "upgrade" I never ordered! $35.90 total. Please, do no be taken in by this scam.

I ordered (what I thought was good deal) 2 sets of brushes @ $10.00 each in addition to $7.00 regular standard shipping cost for the total package. What I was charged was $53.84 for 6 pro brush sets??? Amazingly I got customer service live after 2 or 3 rings.. stating my dissatisfaction, where as they told me to refuse shipping and have the Post Office return the items "Un-Opened" and I will be reimbursed on my credit card. Only time will tell if they abide by what they say!!! I was Boon-swaggled...Hook, line and sinker!!!

I ordered the brushes back in mid-Feb. on-line. I thought it was wierd that it didn't have a mailing verification, confirmation or reciept after I made my transaction. I chose not to have it express delivery and they said it would take 10-12 weeks. I thought that was very unusual, but suprisingly it came in about 5 weeks. The box was almost destroyed when I received it and I thought it strange there was not receipt included. I received my credit card bill and they charged me $53!!! I couldn't believe it. They need to be brought to justice on false advertising. It's just wrong!

I recently purchased the Lint-B-Gone brushes. The tv add is very misleading. It says you get two sets for the price of one, but in fact you pay s/h charges twice which is more than the cost of the brushes. I was charged a total of $25.90. I am canceling my credit card, as I have heard since my purchase that others are being repeatedly charged for more sets without ordering them! This is a big time scam!!! Some one needs to be informed! I am calling my attorney general in my state to see what can be done! I would advise others to do the same.

I got so scammed by the Lint be Gone! Something that I thought was going to be only $10.00 plus $7.95 S & H ended up w/a charge to my credit card of $53.84!! Because I chose to upgrade to the "Deluxe" it was more and then they thrown in the "Free" second set but neglect to tell you they will charge you another $7.95 for shipping! I am so outraged! I contacted them and they said I have a 30 day guarantee and to return them. There is no packing slip so she said to return it in the original box to the return address indicated. If anyone needs the phone number to contact someone at Lint Be Gone it is 1-866-304-4252 between the hours of 9-5. I am in the process of packing them up and returning them HOPING my credit card will be credited - probably minus the $15.00 S & H I was SCAMMED out of! I might even pursue this with my credit card company and see if they can help at all! Good luck everyone and tell all that you know to beware of Billy What's his name and this infomercial SCAMS!! GRRRRR!!

It is about the same as the others. I ordered the two for one for $10.00 plus $7.95 shipping. I received the 2 sets of brushes but the total was $25.94. It does no good to talk about this or write about it. These people are using the airways of TV to scam the viewers. The FCC should know about these crooks.

I ordered the Lint B Gone brushes having purchased a brand new washer/dryer set, I wanted to keep the dryer in top operating condition. When I called the 800 number, I was greeted by an automatic voice response system. However, the system was hijacked or something because without any response from me, the system decided I had said yes to upgrading to the professional model, wanting an additinal set for a friend, etc. There was no way to back out of it or change it. There was no operator assistance. I was charged over $37 for what was supposed to be $17.95. Somehow these people need to be reported!

I ordered the lint-b-gone online in December 2006 and thought it was pretty good deal buy one get one free. When I received the brushes it was March 5, 2007. I received my credit card bill and was charged $77.00 for the $10.00 plus the $7.95 shipping. When I called the customer service line I was told I was charged for express delivery - 3 months not bad for express delivery and also I had received the delux model lint-b-gone brushes. They got-me-good.

I called after seeing brushes on TV and was trapped for over 20 minutes with other offers. I had agreed (stupidly) to but two for $10 with postage charge of $7.95. Three sets just arrived with no paperwork and there is no way to contact the company. The charge has not yet appeared on my credit card. I have no idea why I received three, but assume I will be billed for them, possibly with expedited mailing (another offer droned out by that automated ordering service. I don't want any of the brushes, but without paperwork (and with a ripped and damaged box in which they arrived) I don't know how to return them. Any suggestions?

My wife got a set of these a year ago. It was pretty crappy but she kept them. A few months later another set arrived without her ordering them. She sent those back but we never received a credit. Today another unordered set arrived. Once again no paperwork. I had her credit card canceled and reissued. Don't buy this product! The company cannot be found (the return address doesn't exist according to Google). It is a complete scam and who know's what they'll do with your credit card info. The return address appears to be in Connecticut. I suspect it's a fullfillement house. Tomorrow I will see if this constitues postal fraud and if the USPS will do something about it.

I ordered the "Buy one, get one free" version. First, they made it unclear on the website whether you needed to order two or if by ordering one you got the free one automatically. I ordered them on Dec 1, 2006. It is Feb 20 and am still Lint B Gone-less. I did place a call about two weeks after I ordered to verify the status of my order and found out at that time they were poised to charge my card a whole lot more because I had ordered two (meaning four total). I explained that I only want two total and she supposedly changed it. She also told me they were out of stock because "they were sold out" and waiting on new products to come in. Hmmm...it's been almost 12 weeks....how long can it take to make some overgrown pipe cleaners???

I received the lint b gone brushes. They looked like branches off an artificial Christmas tree!!I was charged 37.86 for this "crap" on my credit card, however, there was not an invoice with the items NOR did I ever receive an invoice in the mail. There also was no way for me to speak to them.I did return the brushes to the address on the package, however, there has not been a credit of 37.86 on my credit card account yet. Do you know "how" I can speak to these people?

I bought lint b gone from Eagle Eye Marketing. The total charge was suppose to be under $20.00. They charged me double at $39.00. They did not include any shipping documents. If you want to pay double the quoted price than the product is O.k. I would not have purchased this product for what they charged me!
