I used the magic bullet almost every day for about a year to make a weird cleanse concoction of lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. It was really good at making lovely, thick emulsions, but there were always chunks fo stuff no matter how much I shook, blended, scrapped, and the like. The plastci tabs that make the blender cups work broke off one by one. The plastic blade on the motor cracked into three pieces and now I can't get a replacement. Plastic is CHEAP!!! Don't buy one.

good product, i have it for 4 years already and it still working like a charm. probably the magic bullets from 3 yrs ago are better quality than the ones they have now.

I purchased the Magic Bullet from [] a month ago and have used it twice. This morning I placed a tablespoon of coffee beans in it and the plastic gadget on the spindle broke into 3 pieces as soon as I pressed down for 2 seconds. It only comes with a 30 day warranty. Absolute rubbish to sell something of inferior quality. VERY disappointed.

I've had this product for years. I bought it when I was single and used it quite a bit for meal prep, making drinks, just like on the infomercials. After I got married, my wife started using it and she loves it, too. We've used it to make baby food for our kid. I've had it for over 5 years now, and it's still going strong. My only gripe is that the bullet cups are very wobbly and don't store too well in the fridge. Based on my experience, I would say this is a legitimate product and not a scam.

For Christmas we received a Magic Bullet mixer set. I had seen the commercials and thought it was a neat product. The third time we used it, the blade broke and would not mix or chop anything. I contacted the Magic Bullet company and reported the problem, expecting a new blade cap to be sent to me. I was told I needed a receipt to prove my ownership. I contacted my motherinlaw to get the receipt. My mother in law couldn't find it. She had paid cash at a local store so there was no credit card statement to prove she bought it there. I again contacted Magic Bullet and told them the story, they told me that I would have to prove to them that it was a real Magic Bullet and not a copy, that required at least a dozen photos mailed (not emailed)to them along with a lot of BS paperwork. I don't have time for such nonsence, especially since I don't have a printer that can do color pictures. I told the Magic Bullet people that I would happily PAY for the new part so I could continue to use the mixer. They would not/could not supply me with ANY information on replacement parts or prices. Several requests went unanswered. The Magic Bullet is a piece of junk and I would recommended it to no one. Mine went into the trash.

I used this magic bullet very little. I was making a smoothie and heard a crack. The cheap little plastic piece on the motor mount had cracked. I was told by the company that I would have to buy a new moter piece. What a joke. This is a scam as far as I am concerned and sadly a lot of people listen to the infomercials and believe all they see. Use your kitchen blender it does the same job and is more substancial. I hate being taken to the cleaners.Lorene

I have had my Magic Bullet (the authentic one) for years, and it works really well. It's not a food processor or blender, and I don't try to make it be one (I don't use the blender attachment). I do use it daily for all sorts of small chopping/blending/whipping jobs, and it works great on those. As some have mentioned, you do sometimes have to remove the cup and shake the contents, etc., but that's not a big deal, and I find this much simpler and faster to use for small jobs than my big food processor.

actually, this is one of the only things i bought from infomercials that i love. it was great making smoothies and chopping up stuff. but i've seen A LOT of products out there that pretends to be the magic bullet but isn't which can account for bad quality. also, i've heard of the motor burning. but the booklet tells you that you're not suppose to keep it on for more than 30 seconds at a time, which can seem inconvenient, but if you abide by that, the motor shouldn't burn.

I've had my unit for 6 months now with no problems at all. We use it almost nightly to make 3 smoothies, in fact this is the only way I can get my son to eat fruit. Sorry others have had issues but we love ours. If it broke tonight I'd be out buying another one.

I am surprised that so many people found this product to be of poor quality. We use our MB about once a month and we love it. We make tons of frozen drinks by just putting frozen fruit into the cup and turning it on. It is a little more difficult then the commerical shows... as you have to shake it a bit to get things to move around. But, it is still much easier to clean, operate and store then a normal blender. It is also great to be able to make each drink to the specific person and not have a lot of waste.

i loved this product! mine finally broke after 5 yrs of use. its good as a mini blender. it didn't do a good job on cheese, but i did't really need it for that. also if you are going to buy just buy the basic package. the juicer isnt really that great either. great for blending and making drinks for everyone. sad they didn't make replacemts blades either. however i am going to buy a new one cause i used it alot.

My husband and I got this MB for a wedding present. I was so excited because I had been wanting one so bad. Well within 6 months it was completely broke. The little plastic star piece that spins the blades broken into pieces. PIECE OF CRAP

I got this THING for my birthday from my brother. I didn't want it and would have NEVER bought it for myself. My husband wouldn't leave me alone about the thing and actually bought the ingredients for hummus, something that can take out a good quality blender if you don't know what you are doing. Needless to say the motor started smoking and giving off a smell of burning wires right away. Every five seconds you have to take it off the base and shake the contents- something that was not shown on the infomercial by the way. I am a late night TV junkie and watch infomercials for entertainment ONLY. Even in the infomercial it looked, worked and sounded like crap. The 'actors' couldn't hide the truth of how worthless the Magic Bullet was - the 'old' lady with the foot long cigarette ash was hilarious and annoying at the same time. I repacked it carefully in its original packaging and stuck it in the garage with all the other duds!!!

My wife bought me a magic bullet for Christmas. I have used it to mix simple meal replacement drinks (MRP). These MRP drinks include skim milk and MRP powder. The blender lasted 4 months and the first rubber gear sheared it teeth off for no reason. Tonight the second gear sheared its teeth off. The box and book include no contact numbers. I agree with other posters, this is a very poor product. It makes really good mush. It was great for making MRP drinks but I have never been able to make anything that didn't look like baby food. Don't waste your money buying one.

Terrible, terrible product. I picked it up on sale for around $30. It came with four little handled cups, I figured it would be perfect for making drinks, as well as other items. Much to my surprise, no matter how little or how much ice I put in, and with varying amounts of liquid, it refuses to blend it. There are always 4-5 whole ice cubes that bob around on top, even if you pick the unit up and shake it while it's blending. Also, the more I used it, the more I started to smell the horrible smell of burning electronics. I was following the directions, short 1 second bursts, but the smell continued to worsen every day. I've since thrown the unit away and picked up an inexpensive brand name blender. Works every time. I feel like an idiot, especially because I usually research these things first. It was on sale, and I was foolish. Bottom line, don't make the same mistake I did. Don't buy this garbage. It's a terrible feeling to be completely ripped off.

I bought a Magic Bullet for myself and my girlfriend last year. Their spamming infomertials about it here in Canada.
Well i never buy things i see on tv EVER. And against my own logic , i fell for this one. The MAJOR thing to consider about this product is THE NOISE !!!! This machine is SUPER NOISY , the tv commercial completely anhiliates the noise of the machine when they use it. It is EXTREMELY NOISY.
Also , i only bought the thing to blend frozen berries into smoothies. It cant even do that. If you put 5 strawberries in it with juice it will blend 2-3 and leave you 2 full ones. Even after " pulsing " and removing and shaking and starting over , you always get something left whole in it. And if you unscrew the thing to stir whats in it with a spoon to bring the big peices closer to the blade the cup will leak all over the place. And when you start " pulsating " the cup will eventually unscrew itself slowly and leak inside the motor. The plastic peices that you have to crunch with the cup to operate the machine are stuck because liquid leaked from the cup.
And to add insult to injury , [ ] sells them cheaper then the tv does. And you dont have to buy the stupid " second unit free " wich you get with more shipping and handling fees.

We received a Magic Bullet Blender set as a gift. It looked cool in the infomercials so we were happy to receive it. On our THIRD time using it, one of the blades broke. We tried to get a replacement from the company but they said they couldn't honor the warranty because we weren't the original buyer. We had no phone number so all communications were through email. We explained it was a gift and they said that we had to send them photos of the unit, box, literature, accessories, etc. I couldn't believe this BS. Finally I tried to BUY a new replacement part. I emailed them several times about buying the part and NEVER received an answer. Avoid this piece of crap. I WILL NEVER buy anything advertised on an informercial, ever!

Purchased it because of the way it chopped onions and other veggies on the infomercial! I purchased the buy one get one free and I was silly enough to also purchase the warrant!!!
It has been a great disappointment. Every single time I have tried chopping onions, bell peppers, etc, i got mush. The juicer is a joke. Ice....it doesn't chop it and it doesn't chop frozen berries.
This product is a true scam...I wish I had not purchased it. I have only purchased infomercial products twice before and I was satisified except for the Magic Bullet. As someone else stated the only Magic was taking me for a rider.
If anyone has any suggestions about how to get our money back, please let me hear it.
Cecilia
