Honestly I like my magic bullet... use it every day as a coffee grinder and no problems at all so far. Also if you want to cook with pot it does a great job grinding up large quantities. Makes shrooms bearable as well (grind 'em up and put it in something).

I bought the two for one it turned out to cost more than they lead you to believe. A christmas present for my daughter and myself. It does real well for some things but not for every thing the advertize. With in the first month the motor burned up. I called them and with out question they replaced the bottom part(motor). I do use it but my problem is after I ordered it I saw it at [] for half the price and I would not have had to pay the shipping that was to me rediculous. As for as the product like I said it works for some things. every thing I use it for my blender can do. On a fair not my husband works away from home and when I am cooking for my self it is more convient for it's size for one person. Not worth what I paid for it but not a total lose would be more satisfied if they had not said not available in store when it was for less. Go figure. Decide for yourself Now wal greens has it. GOOD LUCK

This is certainly not all it's made out to be. Really, it's only good use is making smoothies. It does not make salsa as shown nor is it capalble of grinding chocolate etc.

Love it! My husband and I saw the ad on tv, and decided to give it a try. We use it for EVERYTHING! It's especially great for small things, like if you need to quickly chop nuts, or an onion. I will say it doesn't chop ice very well, but other than that we have been very pleased. I have friends who have been dissapointed in theirs, but we have been really happy with ours and recommend it to everyone.

I saw the "amazing" infomercial. I usually don't fall for these things...but I did since it's near the holidays and I'm "attempting" to eat better and fix healthier foods for my family.
I went to the website and made sure not to sign up for the fine print stuff. I am always hyper aware of those sneaky deals the put in there that sign you up for a subscription which you can't return or cancel. So I did avoid the "boost" powder.
I entered all my information but I was waiting until I was absolutely SURE I should order. I did NOT hit the "PURCHASE" submit button which stated your order is NOT COMPLETE until it is hit. I shrunk the page and looked around at some of the reports. I was trying to hurry since the infomercial said I had only 12 more minutes to order at that price and with the bonuses. (That is one ploy they do so you don't research it and change your mind...you just buy it while you're still excited from the infomercial) Well I went from site to site (watching my time of course...LOL) and realized it looked like many people had problems with the Bullet. The problems they had definitely were things I would expect the Bullet to deliver. So I went back and "x-ed" out of the order form and DID NOT hit the "PURCHASE" button. I never received an order confirmation page. I never even received an e-mail with an order confirmation. So I wrongly assumed I had stopped the transaction since I didn't complete it..RIGHT? WRONG!!!!!! Only 2 days later I get a shipment confirmation. ARRRGHHH!! I immediately try to call. They aren't open. I go to the website to file a cancelation form(I'm advised they will be charging me the $39.95 s+h.) It goes on and on about calling and getting a refund. They want it to be a lot of trouble so most people won't other and will chalk it up to making a mistake. The end result is they still have your money. I had called and talked to [] of course no last name...but the e-mails I got back had a last name for the person sending me a automatic response saying they couldn't get back to me for 5-7 days. That name was [] Homelandhousewares Customer Service Representative. Well this [] kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes. He basically was calling me a liar about hitting the "purchase" button. He told me the website wouldn't process the order without me hitting the button. I repeat..I AM NOT CONFUSED about NOT hitting the button. I purposely made sure I didn't until I was SURE! I was calm and polite to him and finally after going round and round I asked for a supervisor to release the "PENDING" charge on my card. (I had called my credit card company after I couldn't get through to Homelandhousewares on my first attempts to call) My credit card company documented my complaint and told me that HomelandHousewares could release the pending charge. If they didn't then I can follow up the dispute process which I WILL DO! [] told me I'd still be charged the $39.95 s+h. I told him no I wouldn't as I was disputing the entire charge.
The nice lady at my credit card company told me she doesn't fall for the infomercials since she deal with irate customers all day long. She said that she was very familiar with Homelandhousewares and how they conduct their business. That is why she doesn't fall for the traps. She said she probably would otherwise, but wouldn't want to endure the nightmares she has to help customers navigate.
So...I'm spending all this time dealing with an order I didn't even place. I should know better. If you put your credit card number on an order form online..even if you don't hit the "submit" button don't assume it won't get processed. Also don't assume an order hasn't been processed if you don't get a confirmation page or an e-mail...or you could be in the same annoying boat I am... granted I have LOTS of company sadly...
I feel a little bit better now having vented. I hope others will steer clear of this scam... OR at least don't buy it on the website. Buy it at a store with a better return policy!!! I wish I had!
Now I'm off to the BBB and [] List site to warn other. At least this is a little therapy for me to get this anger out of my system. Then I'll be done with it!

Well until about an hour ago I was a happy owner of the Magic Bullet but had one of the rubber gears sheer so I went online assuming I could just find a replacement part, order it, wait a few days and I'm back in business. After chasing my tail for 45 minutes without any luck, I stumbled onto this site and realize that I'm another unhappy MB owner.
Got it earlier this year for my birthday from my daughter. good luck with the receipt. Can't believe a company won't sell a part that fails pretty clear their intent is to make you buy a new one what a rip off. I'll buy another product instead and tell at least 50 people about this fraud.

I've owned my Magic Bullet for a year and a half. I've ended up using it only to make salsa, and that is with already pureed tomatoes. I can add small amounts of cut onions, fresh cilantro, and green pepper, which it blends into a nice puree. Beyond that, I've tried making icecream shakes and smoothies using frozen fruit but it won't blend the mixture. 80% of the frozen content stays untouched at the bottom of the plastic mixing container (shaking it doesn't help) and only the contents close to the blade action blend. Recently it produces a loud whining sound and the blades don't rotate any longer. The plastic tabs on most of the containers have broken off over time. I could not find anywhere that you could buy just replacement containers without buying the whole product again. Frequently the containers jammed in place so I was unable to stop the blending action without unplugging (so it wouldn't overheat) and then working the container back and forth to get it to detach. In a nutshell, it will blend almost anything if the contents are highly liquified to begin with - icecream, frozen fruit, or hard veggies will get stuck and not even move around in the container - you would be better off purchasing a good blender or a small food processor for the money.

It appears that the Magic Bullet i have owned for 3 years now, and, no i no longer have the box, nor the receipt.
The flat blade blending part has finally, well bitten the bullet, and the 4 cross sections underneith that link to the machine have worn out.
It appears i cannot buy a replacement part, unlessI have a receipt as proof of purchase
OR
1 I take 5 photo's of the product
2 Send in two original pages from the recipe book.
They have stronger security that[]and his [].
All i want is to buy a new base so i can continue to grind my coffee.
It cant be that hard to allow people to buy parts surely?
DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT, parts are hard to come by !

Garbage! Dont waste your money. The old lady with the fake ciggarette and the bad acting should have given it away immediately. I bought one at a store, it never did any of what it said. It made great smoothies. Egg salad,Oh my gosh try egg mush. It couldnt even grind coffee properly. Chopped cheese, yeah right.!.I'm sending the cups to the thrift store, the rest is going in the garbage. The thing quit completely after 12 months. Do yourself a favor and get one of those hand held choppers, you push down repeatedly and the bades turn and chop your food. Ive gone through 2 in the last 10 years. They work great and dont cost you a first born. I will never buy anything that has been advertised via infomercial again. Its just not worth it.

I must have seen the infomercial for this product 50 or 60 times during a 10-day (and, more to the point, night) stretch of hospitalization. I joked about it to my husband and best friend, and they saw the commercial, too. One thought it was a scam, but the other agreed it looked like fun to try (guess which of the two!). When my best friend saw a buy-one-get-one-free sale, she got us each one. My husband, being the family cook, was game to try it, and bought avocadoes and a spice packet to make the guacamole they touted it as being so capable of whipping up. Wrong-o, MaryLou! It didn't mash the avocados, and we got a lumpy mess that we couldn't even make ourselves taste. My friend admitted that after using it to make a few milkshakes, they tried a food recipe and had the same non-luck with it. Clearly, while this is a cheap blender, it's not the mini-food-processor they sell it and price it as.

I only use it for making protien shakes and it works well. I'vehad it for a few years and the only problem has been the plastic cracking on one of the cups.

I used the magic bullet almost every day for about a year to make a weird cleanse concoction of lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. It was really good at making lovely, thick emulsions, but there were always chunks fo stuff no matter how much I shook, blended, scrapped, and the like. The plastci tabs that make the blender cups work broke off one by one. The plastic blade on the motor cracked into three pieces and now I can't get a replacement. Plastic is CHEAP!!! Don't buy one.

good product, i have it for 4 years already and it still working like a charm. probably the magic bullets from 3 yrs ago are better quality than the ones they have now.

I purchased the Magic Bullet from [] a month ago and have used it twice. This morning I placed a tablespoon of coffee beans in it and the plastic gadget on the spindle broke into 3 pieces as soon as I pressed down for 2 seconds. It only comes with a 30 day warranty. Absolute rubbish to sell something of inferior quality. VERY disappointed.

I've had this product for years. I bought it when I was single and used it quite a bit for meal prep, making drinks, just like on the infomercials. After I got married, my wife started using it and she loves it, too. We've used it to make baby food for our kid. I've had it for over 5 years now, and it's still going strong. My only gripe is that the bullet cups are very wobbly and don't store too well in the fridge. Based on my experience, I would say this is a legitimate product and not a scam.

For Christmas we received a Magic Bullet mixer set. I had seen the commercials and thought it was a neat product. The third time we used it, the blade broke and would not mix or chop anything. I contacted the Magic Bullet company and reported the problem, expecting a new blade cap to be sent to me. I was told I needed a receipt to prove my ownership. I contacted my motherinlaw to get the receipt. My mother in law couldn't find it. She had paid cash at a local store so there was no credit card statement to prove she bought it there. I again contacted Magic Bullet and told them the story, they told me that I would have to prove to them that it was a real Magic Bullet and not a copy, that required at least a dozen photos mailed (not emailed)to them along with a lot of BS paperwork. I don't have time for such nonsence, especially since I don't have a printer that can do color pictures. I told the Magic Bullet people that I would happily PAY for the new part so I could continue to use the mixer. They would not/could not supply me with ANY information on replacement parts or prices. Several requests went unanswered. The Magic Bullet is a piece of junk and I would recommended it to no one. Mine went into the trash.

I used this magic bullet very little. I was making a smoothie and heard a crack. The cheap little plastic piece on the motor mount had cracked. I was told by the company that I would have to buy a new moter piece. What a joke. This is a scam as far as I am concerned and sadly a lot of people listen to the infomercials and believe all they see. Use your kitchen blender it does the same job and is more substancial. I hate being taken to the cleaners.Lorene

I have had my Magic Bullet (the authentic one) for years, and it works really well. It's not a food processor or blender, and I don't try to make it be one (I don't use the blender attachment). I do use it daily for all sorts of small chopping/blending/whipping jobs, and it works great on those. As some have mentioned, you do sometimes have to remove the cup and shake the contents, etc., but that's not a big deal, and I find this much simpler and faster to use for small jobs than my big food processor.

actually, this is one of the only things i bought from infomercials that i love. it was great making smoothies and chopping up stuff. but i've seen A LOT of products out there that pretends to be the magic bullet but isn't which can account for bad quality. also, i've heard of the motor burning. but the booklet tells you that you're not suppose to keep it on for more than 30 seconds at a time, which can seem inconvenient, but if you abide by that, the motor shouldn't burn.

I've had my unit for 6 months now with no problems at all. We use it almost nightly to make 3 smoothies, in fact this is the only way I can get my son to eat fruit. Sorry others have had issues but we love ours. If it broke tonight I'd be out buying another one.
