My dad got one for Christmas and I was try to cut up an onion with the bullet well the the onion was turning to liquid and i had to get another one and cut it up the old fashion way so luckily we didn't waste the money on it but one of my aunts did so unless u want an expensive smoothie maker I would not buy it

We received a Magic Bullet Blender set as a gift. It looked cool in the infomercials so we were happy to receive it. On our THIRD time using it, one of the blades broke. We tried to get a replacement from the company but they said they couldn't honor the warranty because we weren't the original buyer. We had no phone number so all communications were through email. We explained it was a gift and they said that we had to send them photos of the unit, box, literature, accessories, etc. I couldn't believe this BS. Finally I tried to BUY a new replacement part. I emailed them several times about buying the part and NEVER received an answer. Avoid this piece of crap. I WILL NEVER buy anything advertised on an informercial, ever!

Purchased it because of the way it chopped onions and other veggies on the infomercial! I purchased the buy one get one free and I was silly enough to also purchase the warrant!!! It has been a great disappointment. Every single time I have tried chopping onions, bell peppers, etc, i got mush. The juicer is a joke. Ice....it doesn't chop it and it doesn't chop frozen berries. This product is a true scam...I wish I had not purchased it. I have only purchased infomercial products twice before and I was satisified except for the Magic Bullet. As someone else stated the only Magic was taking me for a rider. If anyone has any suggestions about how to get our money back, please let me hear it. Cecilia

The tabs broke off the cups. Received it as a gift. Would not honor waranty without receipt. Who gets receipts with gifts. Buy American, not cheap China junk. Laura at customer service was useless.

We recently bought the magic bullet at []. I was soo excited after seeing the informercials - an easier way to chop up veggies and a whole lot else. I tried to use it for onions and cilantro. The blades would chop only the bottom and not pull the food down. so you needed to keep shaking it so that everything would get mixed up. Even then, the veggies were only partially chopped. I tried it a couple time more before packing it all up and taking it back to the store. A total waste of money. Stick to your blendar - that actually works.

I bought a magic bullet direct from the website. It was a buy one get one free deal for $99. First, you can buy one bullet at any department store for about $50 making it not really a deal at all. Second, they sent me, what I thought, was a 30-day free supply of the weight loss boost. Come to find out, it is a subscription, and I have now been charged almost $100 for this stuff. It is disgusting, doesn't work, and I will not use it. They have a no-return policy, even for an unopened shipping box. Perhaps I didn't read all the fine print, but this should really be made obvious. I am a single mother and $100 is a lot of money to my family. I do like the bullet blender, but I hate the sneaky way in which the subscription is done. I definitely do not recommend buying this product from the online store.

What a total piece of JUNK!!! Do not buy this product. I like most people was mesmerized by the infomercial for The Magic Bullet. It still is highly entertaining to watch. However now I am also really mad when I see it as well. I received mine from a department store as a Christmas present from my father. Yes it is a legitimate Homeland Housewares Magic Bullet, it has an official UPC symbol, plus came with the instructions and cook book. I tried to make guacamole. It could not even cut through an avocado! And yes I scooped it out of the skin and took the pit out first. I tried the tap method as the manufacturer suggests and that only helped a fraction, if I was to successfully use the tap method to make anything with the magic bullet it would have taken five days to make their "10 second guacamole". The infomercial is a total LIE. Please don't waste your time or your money on the magic bullet. If you surf the web you will find two equal schools of thought on this product, the first is the people who actually got one that works and like it, and the other is the people who got one that does not work at all. How can a company continue to sell a product that only works half of the time? Shame Shame Shame Homeland Housewares.

i can't believe this thing costs as much as it does when you only get a few uses out of it before it stops working. I also can't believe that the owners of this item were able to get a patent on it because it is not worth a dollar & yet it is selling for $60-90. What a rip-off!!!!!!!!!!! I want my money back & anyone who purchased this piece of junk should try to get their money back so we can put this company out of business.

This thing is a piece of junk!! Its only good for making shakes. The rubber teeth wore out on both blade bases so its useless now and it leaks when in use. Its difficult to use, having to use 2 hands and getting it to align properly. DO NOT waste your money on this item!!

My mother purchased this thing, I try to tell her about the horror stories regarding infomercials, but she falls into them anyway and even tries to justify her wasting of money by believing that they work. First thing I noticed is that when you run this thing for more then a few seconds it starts smelling like burning electronics. I don't know if they all do this, but the few I've seen all make the same smell. Second, It gets HOT. I guess the whole 'gets any job done in 8 seconds' thing is more of a safety precaution. third, what jobs can it do exactly? Sure, it'll 'chop' fresh fruit pretty well, but it just kinda rounds over ice cubes. It came with a juicer attachment that is the most inefficient thing I've ever seen. Finally, the blades are utter junk. The main chopping blade seems to have chewed itself up on the bottom. The only way i see to avoid this is by plugging the unit in AFTER it's all put together and hoping the amperage doesn't want to jump to your wall plate while plugging it in. if the thing just had an external on/off switch, this wouldn't even be an issue, but since it's actuated by inserting the blade and container assembly, it wants to start winding up immediately before the drive engages the blade. The other blade doesn't seem to be useful for anything outside of maybe mixing liquids. The best thing to use is a standard blender. Gets the same job done, more control, parts that are designed to take the rigors of this kind of activity, and it has a bigger container on top.

I have had Two of these now and the blades on the moter itself have broken making it a worthless machine. Stay away from this Company!

I purchased the magic bullet, never received the items. When I called magic bullet to find out why it was taking so long, they explained to me that the address was not put down correctly. They told me that they would have to wait until the post office returned the items back to them. When I called the post office, they explained to me that there was never a return address on the package, and when they stated this problem in the tracking, no one ever contacted them. Now I am told from magic bullet that I would have to wait, until the post office declares it lost before I am sent a form to declare my money back less shipping and handling. What a scam.

Imagine our excitement when my sister gave me one of these for Christmas, NOT. I had a feeling the product was a bust, so we did not even open the box and planned to regift it to her next Christmas. I am glad I saw this site because now it will be even more fun to return the gift to her.

I saw this on TV and decided to check out the website. I went through the screens to buy this, and realized they were totally overcharging, and it wasn't such a great deal at all. Espically when you compared to the people selling it []. I never hit ANY BUTTON to approve this sale, and looked at my bank statement today and was charged $139.97 anyways. I went on to buy one for 70.00 [] for the 22 piece set. I have since contacted the company and am waiting to hear from them. *****WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS FROM THE [] WEBSITE***** SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!!!!!! BEWARE!!

I received the Magic Bullet for Christmas. I tried to use the flat blade attachment and there is a manufacture defect. I called the company and the scam is: If you receive as a gift and cannot give a proof of purchase "All future repair parts you will have to pay for and the shipping." Another words you have no warranty. Additionally, this product does not perform as portrayed on TV. The motor is weak and does not chop foods thoroughly.

I saw the commercial and thought what a great idea. I purchased one and they signed me up for the Bullet Booster. I would receive them in the mail and return them. Wasn't getting credit for the ones I returned. I received 2 boxes in the mail that I didn't order and was charged 135.94. I called to ask them to please stop sending them to me and the person on the phone was very argumenative. Told me that nothing could be returned without their Return Authorization Number and when I asked for it she wanted some information off of the invoice which I didn't have at the office with me. She told me to call back when I had the invoice in front of me. when I called to get my Return Authorization Number they tell me at that time that the Booster is non refundable and I can't get my money back. Very dissatisified with this company and will never buy from them again. The magic bullet isn't what it's cracked up to be.

HI.. well I got this for xmas last christmas.. and I thought wow on t.v. this product looks amazing.. but in reality it sucks.. again like other complaints. its messy, it doesnt chop ice for smooties and doesn't chop frozen berries.. so its useless to me as the reason I bought it was to make those drinks. I posted it online and sold it for just 25 bucks but it seems alot of people think this is amazing.. as i got tons of interest. but really its a piece of crap dont buy it.. if u havent yet dont bother.. i wish i read up first..

My Bullet gears seem to be jammed after using it about once per week to grind coffee for a few months. After reading these I doubt if the manufacturer will do anything. I, too, have noticed that it just seems to turn everything to mush rather than doing any chopping. Now, it's in the trash - waste of money.

I too watched the infomercial, and I called to place my order. I then felt a little funny about it so I checked online and found I could buy in the store, so I called back within 10 minutes and told them I wanted to cancel my order. They told me I had to call another number and that they were closed already, but to try first thing in the morning. I tried around 8 am and they said it was too late my order was already on the truck. I thought wow...a Monday morning, and it hasn't even been 24 hrs and they have my order on the truck already! I called my bank right away and told them that MB was refusing to let me cancel my order. My bank told me to refuse mail and they would not pay the MB company. Well they MB must have charged my card 6 times. I called the bank again, and I told them that I never did receive the product to refuse, and that they are charging my card for something I never got. The bank asked me to 3way call the company and I did. So, my bank knew what was up with this scamming company. My bank decided that they would change my account info and card, so that MB wouldn't keep charging me. All that went on for months, and what a headache it was. I will never order from the infomercials again. I've learned my lessen!
