My wife purchased the MB at [] to replace our larger Waring blender. It sounded like a great idea until I used the MB the first time. I tried to make smoothies. It would not chop ice, it would not blend frozen berries and it was a mess to clean up. I misplaced my owners manual and when I contaced the company, I was told that I would have to purchase a replacement. They do not post it on their web site. On top of that, I had to send them a copy of my invoice before they would even talk to me. Bad customer relations. This unit is going to Goodwill and I'm going to buy another GOOD blender. What junk.

I've had the "Bullet" now for about 9 months. I would rather use a food processor or chopper to chop items such as onions, nuts, etc due to the fact, the darn thing turns it into mush. And my husband was going to make a milkshake with it just last night and the gasket fell apart and got mixed in with the shake. When we went to replace the gasket though, he noticed that it has to be put in it a certain way and they don't tell you this in the instructions. I got the 2fer deal and I wish that I hadn't bought it at all. It's not worth the price that they are selling it for. I went out and paid $5.99 for a chopper that does a heck of a lot better job than this piece of crap.

KEEP IT IN THE BOX~ I was given the Magic Bullet as a gift (and, therefore, the friend who gave me such could not find receipt). I, too, used it for smoothies often... One morning, making such for a brunch, the motor began making a crunching sound and I shut it off; took the cylinder off, and the piece beneath it popped into my face. and it was VERY powerful. Be careful. Buy a GREAT blender from one of our trusted, tried and true brands Ellen from Rhode Island

My parents bought the unit after watching it on TV one late night. After a few weeks of use, the rubber ring inside came off and got caught in the blade. After replacing the rubber ring, the new one came off again after a few days. My parents have since gave up on using it. But I still use it to make my smoothies. I think it's a great machine to make smoothies with, but it certainly did not live up to the billings of chopping onions, making salsas, or anything else.

I bought a Magic Bullet at [] a few months ago because the infomercial was so compelling. It really doesn't live up to all the claims made by the infomercial. You cannot make salsa in this thing, everything becomes mush. You have to constantly shake the cup to get vegetables down to the blades, otherwise nothing gets chopped. Baby carrots and onions are the biggest pain, it always seems to leave giant pieces behind. It's only been useful for making milkshakes. Save your money, invest in a nice blender or food processor, the Magic Bullet is a piece of junk.

I to think this thing is a pile of crap I purchased the 2 for one deal one late night watching those scam fo mercials. it did come rather quickly so I went to use it for the juicer application so I tried carrots oranges ect all it did was make a big mess and all it was able to do was make a baby food like slurry. but it was far from any juice. so I called the company to return it and they were fine with that so I brought the units to the UPS store to ship it back and I still had to pay the shipping 20 dollars per unit. so yeah i got a refund but still payed 40 dollars for the shipping. money back guarantee my ass. anyway I since got rid of that pile and now own the Ron Popeil juicer works fabulous

I also bought the 2 package deal. When using it for anything, the bigger chunks always stayed at the top. I have to keep detaching it to shake it up. You can only use it for a short time as well. One of mine started smoking and the motor burned out when I used it non stop for about 2 minutes. The other one is still around, but...waste of energy use it. You're going to be standing there for 15 minutes, starting and stopping, then shaking it around, just to blend one thing.

Please do not buy this product. It is a waste of money. Save your money for something that will last. The only magic is removing money out of your wallet and into the garbage can. The plastic gear on mine broke after using it twice. What a piece_______________!

On June 18, 2007 at one o'clock in the afternoon, I was making my nine month old daughter her baby food. I had purchased some organically grown peaches at the market the day before. I started to chop and blend the peaches by using my magic bullet kitchen gadget. My sister bought this machine for us at [] as a wedding gift. I had been using it off and on for about a year. In one week, I would probaly use it on average about two times. Previously I had looked through my magic bullet ten second recipe book and noticed that you can make baby food with it, so I decided to give it a try. After preparing the fruit, I tasted it and knew my daughter would enjoy it. She was strapped in her highchair. I started feeding her the food, she loved it. With the next bite, I had given to her, she began to choke. I immeadiately grabbed her from the chair and started to pat her on the back. She was still coughing and gagging. I was about to call 911 when suddenly something had fallen out of her mouth and she became calm. I bent down to pick it up and noticed that it was a piece of plastic. I was very shaken up at this point, being so cautious and nervous as a young is. I walked into the kitchen and rinsed off the lid of the magic bullet. The lid has the blade attached to it. I examined this and realized that the plastic ring that surrounded the chopper blade had unattached itself while chopping the peaches. The ring got tangled in the blade and was grinding itself into my daughter's baby food. I inspected the bowl with the remainder of peaches in it and learned that there were several pieces of plastic lying in the bowl. Shortly after making sure that my daughter was going to be okay, I called the magic bullet toll free number and spoke to a customer service manager named Ozzy. After explaining what happened, he stated that he was very sorry but the only thing he could do was send me a new product in exchange for the damaged one. I told him that I wouldn't be able to trust that the next machine I received wouldn't be an inferior one as well. He then offered me the deluxe package. At this point I was annoyed by his insensitive attitude. He instructed me to place the magic bullet and all of its accessories into a box and he would arrange for Fed Ex to make the pick up, total packaging and shipping costs included. I did not comply with these instructions. I still have the parts to the maching just as they were since this incident. A little while later, I spoke with my daughter's pediatrician and he thought that my daughter would be okay. Thank God the situation didn't get worse. I only hope and pray that there is not another parent out there trusting this product to make their child's baby food. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

i Bought the Magic Bullet from [], i was so excited to use it as a replacement for meals and make smoothies, to my surprise the blades wouldnt blend the ice nor any frozen strawberried, Finally i decided to add more ice and liqud like the recipe says and it took even longer, i had to shake the cup so many times it had to take at least 3 minutes for anything to actually blend, then i read the back of the base and it says **********Do not use for more than a minute, When i wake up in the morning its going right back to the store. Please dont waste yr time or money on the Magic Bullet

The gaskets on this blender come loose and get chewed by the blades. It ate all my gaskets (ships with a half dozen or so) in less than 6 months. When I contacted the company for replacement gaskets, they accused me of having bought a counterfeit unit and REFUSED to sell me replacements. Yes, they would not sell me replacement gaskets. The blender is now useless to me. Unbelievably shoddy customer treatment. Lodged a complaint with the BBB. Avoid this lame bar blender and this unbelievably shoddy company.

I wanted one so bad that when it came to [] in my area, my husband bought me one. It does NOT do what it says it will do. To grate cheese is something to be desired. I will never ever buy something like this again. I wish I had of known of this web site to check out things before I actually bought my so called "Magic Bullet" It is just a piece of junk to sit on my counter. The only thing I have found it is good for is for crushing ice and such.

I bought the Magic Bullet at my local [], paying $60 for it. It didn't come with the blender or juicer attachment, but you could call the company and order them for an additional $39.95 plus shipping and handling (I didn't). I was disappointed with its ability to crush ice for making sorbet and coffee drinks. It did work okay for soft foods, like cooked figs for homemade fig bars or scrambled eggs for an omelet. I wound up giving it to a neighbor (trading it for her minichopper), as I couldn't send it back to the company for a refund.

I bought the Magic Bullet and the extra set with the juicer a while back. It is still sitting in my cabinet. I have to agree, that it makes more mush than it does blend. I tried to make salsa as directed in the commercial and in the booklet, and it was a watery mess, and all mushy. I was really dissapointed. The juicer was a huge watery mushy mess too. The only good thing I can use it for is making smoothies. I havnt even bothered to try the other things they did in the informercial. I am not a coffee drinker, but I can see why a lot of you say that it only grinds coffee good.

My husband bought this for me since I wanted it soooo bad. I have used it maybe five times. I agree with the majority of you that it just liquifies everything, and unless it is really moist it will just sit in the container and not even try to chop, hince when it finally works it is liquid. It is very nice for smoothies, but liquid does leak out, and for grinding herbs, but other than that it sits in my cabinet. I ended up getting a 2 cup kitchen-aid food processor for a cheaper price than what my husband bought the bullet for.

I bought the so called "Magic" bullet in early '01 thinking it would help me grind coffee. Instead, they billed my credit card 5 times the amount and I never received my product. Please help if you have any contact info, I have found none. Thanks.

I purchased the 21 piece magic bullet 1-month ago and the base unit is no longer workable. The plastic gear which meshes with the other units has broken and does not turn the blades in the two other units am thoroughly disappointed with the whole product. When I contacted the manufacture to see if they would replace the unit base power unit, or fix it. The answer was sorry your out of luck
