I purchased the Miracle Blade II knife set a couple of years ago, they worked great. Some of the knives were dulling, and I was missing a couple. I figured for the price I purchased them for ($35.00 roughly) I would just order another set. This is were it all goes bad.
I searched on the internet for Miracle Blade's website and found it. I wanted to deal direct with the company not a retailer. I placed an order the end of October 2007. As some of you have already stated, this began the onslaut of up selling and the relentless atempts to get you to buy more! I stuck to my guns and insisted that the only deal I wanted was the "buy one get one free" deal. So the order was placed. (free set would make a nice christmas gift)
Around Thanksgiving, I still have not received my order which was positively charged to my AMEX already. I called and a very curteous man assured me that they would be on the way they were "Backordered". I explained that one set was to be a Christmas gift, he assured there was no problem I would have them , and by the way would I like to buy the cutting board.
Christmas was a week off, I called again, spoke with someone else and assured they were on the way, and by the way how about a Butcher block knife holder & cutting board (they were running a special, yipppeeee for them). I suggested that perhaps when I received my order I may consider these items (not likely).
Well needless to say Christmas had come and gone & we are into the New Year. I called for the final time in mid January 2008, only to be told that shipped the knives to me at an address that was a combination of my home address & work address (how convenient) and they were in a "General Mail Facility" in Orlando. They gave me some really long tracking number and said I could go there or call (I live about 4 hours away from Orlando, not too likely I will drive there) and have the package re-shipped. I suggested that they "rush" ship me another order as it was their mistake not mine (well I guess it was mine for thinking this Company could get the order sent AGAIN hmmmm sure.)
The voice on the other end agreed to re-send the order again.
Around Valentines Day .... you guessed it STILL NO KNIVES, I called AMEX and asked them to issue a dispute and exlained the story. I was advised that it would be up to the Company as the original charge was over 30 or 60 days (there is a time limit to dispute)!!! I was not aware that disputes had to made within a certain time. I explained to AMEX everytime I called and gave names of who I spoke with, and the replies given to me.
AMEX contacted this company and evidentally were VERY happy to refund my money. THANK YOU AMEX!

Good thing I read these complaints. It'd be a waste to such products, and to a company that treats their clients in such a manner.

My wife and I bought the miracle blades along with the holding block at Wisconsin State Fair. About a year later we noticed the blades were getting very dull. Then we remembered what we were told by the rep at the fair. If they get dull or break you can call and they will replace it with a new one. So we had saved our receipt just for that reason. We called and told them our story. To my dismay the person said that we had a generic receipt and that we didn't have a real set of the knives. That was funny it was at the fair and had miracle blades name all over the place. They do not honor their warranty. My advice is to stay away from all miracle blade products!!!

I have had the Miracle Blade II set for over 3 years and they have performed very well until one of the two large cutting blades broke off at the handle. The warranty states that they are guaranteed for life...thats a scam. I have tried for over 3 months to get the blade replace just to be told it will take 10 to 14 days to be shipped out then they say that the order has been canceled and I have to start all over again. They continually try to sell me the Miracle Blade III collection which I have no interest in. I dont know what to do next other than to file a complaint with the NC Dept of Consumer Protection

I saw an infomercial for these knives claiming to send two 11-piece set of these knives for only $29.95 if you called within so many minutes of viewing the commercial. I called to order and spoke with a pleasant American sounding woman who initially tried to offer one set for $29.95. When I stopped her to explain seeing a commercial offering two sets for this price, she put me on hold and returned to confirm that this price was available. She then explained the heafty S&H charges of 14.95 and proceded offers for further products. The mannor of offering these products was very decieving. She read long monologes which seemed to lull you into bordom, slyly sneak in a product offer and ended in "okay" to which you are tempted to just respond okay. I listened very carefully and each time I clearly stated "No I don't want anything else" as she had already informed me that our conversation was being recorded. When the order arrived, there was only one set of knives with an invoice that reads one set ordered for $29.95 plus $14.95 S&H. When I called the phone number on the invoice, I spoke with a male who spoke in a thick Indian accent. Initially, he just responded that the order is for one set. Upon repeating the facts to him, he repeatedly spoke over me without listening. I then stated that I believed the phone order was recorded and if there was any doubt perhaps they could refer to the recording. He then stated he was entering a complaint and attempted to end the phone call. I asked him when and how I would hear back from the company or how it would be resolved and he did stuttered and began to go on about how difficult and serious a matter it was. I clearly stated that I would allow them time to look into my complaint, that I expect someone to contact me with a response within 10 days. My expectation is that they would send me the second set at no additional cost. I informed him that if I do not hear back I will contact my credit card fraud department and file a report with the Better Buisness Bureau. Now, as I check the internet I see many with similar and worse experiences with this company. We'll see if I ever see the second set of these knives.

We ordered one knife from this company (if you want to call it that) we should have gotten billed 20 something dollars. They sent us two other knives I've never heard of and charged us $78. When we called corporate they said that there is nothing that they can do! THEN they tried to sell us a cutting board. This company will be out of business by the end of '08 with antics such as these. "PLEASE save yourself your sanity and don't even consider ordering anything from the joke of a company"

I have ordered Miracle Blades in the past, however, this time I am extremely disappointed. Last Christmas I purchased a set for my mother. She has really enjoyed them, however, my father lost one of the steak knives. I decided to purchase just the additional steak knives for her to replace the missing one. Once I placed the order, I received a confirmation with no details on it. When the items came in the mail, I have two full sets and the additional steak knives. The orginal order was supposed to total 19.90. Instead I have been billed for 79.90. On top of the additional charges, my order was shipped to my house instead of my mothers. Now, I am stuck with extra knives and having to re-ship the original order to my mother. When I called to speak with their customer service representative, I was hung up on. Then when I called back, I was treated very rudely by Eric *EMP #6070- for what its worth*. The said their were no managers around and that he couldn't do anything for me. Told me to call back the next day. When I did, I spoke with a supervisor, Micky. Unfortunately, she had no authority either. I was then instructed to call the Corp HQ. Once you call this number, all you receive is elevator music. I waited on hold for 20 min to no avail. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. They will charge you for whatever they decide at that moment.

We ordered the Miracle Blade and was asked on the phone if we wanted all this extra stuff. We said no. They sent it to us anyway and billed us for $99. We sent the extra stuff back that we didn't order, but our credit card was never credited. We essentially were called liars and accused of never sending back the extra things. We actually had one customer service rep lie to us and say that he had credited our card for the entire amount. We called our credit card company and that was not the case. It took MONTHS of phone calls and rude customer service reps before we finally reached a nice girl who took care of the situation for us. The ironic thing is we were fairly happy with the knives we ordered. I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody, just because of their dishonest way of doing business and rude customer service reps.

I also have the knifes and block set and at first they were great. Then they became dull and even broke the handle off of the scraper knife(chopper), and bent one and scissors broke and they have rust spots on them when put in dishwasher, even on top shelf and i dry them right away. I would like them replaced but not if everyone else is getting the run around.

Like almost everyone else I saw the infomercial and thought what a great product and went ahead and called to order it. It took about 10 mins, never spoke with a real person, kept offering more and more stuff. When I would say NO they would offer it again for about $10-20 which tells me it was never worth the original price asked for. By then I was inpatient and upset and just hung up I did not finish the order or so I thought. Oh by the way something else that scared me when I gave them my phone number all information pop up even though I never ordered from them before. Anyway just to ensure I called back and spoke with an agent to cancel the order he then told he could not because its not showing on the system. He asked for me to call back the next day as it takes 24 hrs to upload. Well 3 days later it was still not "showing" on the system yet that same evening after I talk to a rep I saw a charge by them on my bank account. I then called back and was told it just came thru the system but somehow someone fail to realize I tried to cancel the order. I felt cheated and was so irate they are just quite lucky I cannot see them in person. To make things worse when I would call to cancel the order my information would not come up conveniently. The same number I gave which pulled up my address and name suddenly didnt match any info. Again they told me to not accept delivery and they would refund my money once they item has been received by them. I am still upset they have taken $59.99 out of my account for something I dont even care for. The whole procedure was a scam. It felt like I was dealing with an organized but legalized mob. I will give you update late.

Same story as everyone else. Received my set and it worked great - for the first couple of months. Then they dulled and rusted. It's been a year of calling customer service and no new Miracle Blades - even though I already paid the shipping for the new ones. So in fact they stole my money. And they accused me of receiving the new knives, even though I have never. Very displeased. Never buy this product. Big, Big Waste of Money!!

I purchased the MIracle Blade III package with suprise extra charges for stiorage block and high shipping/handling fee, paying $94.80 - much higher cost than the strongly touted $39.95 original cost. Rust spots, dulling blades and breakage of the Chop 'n' Block blade along the handle seams somewhat disillusioned me. Customer service's repeated claims of sending my replacement - with no actual delivery of product - for over three months qualifies the product, warranty and sales/marketing as false representation and a well-orchestrated scam. Do not buy this product with expectations of delivering on it's marketed claims.

I ordered the set for 39.95 not knowing what the shipping was. When ordering the shipping is not mentioned. In fact they try to sell you a bunch of other stuff. I said no to all and then they just hung up. I got my knifes today. They are flimzy and cheep at best. They sent a block holder for extra charge which I did not order. They left out the free knifes. The bill was $99.80 for junk. When I called I was treated extreamly rude. Mocked and told they had no supervisor on duty. They said go ahead and report them to the beter business. They didn't care and hung up. I will never deal with them again. I never buy from info comercials and this is why. Life lesson I guess. Do not buy if you do not want to get ripped off.

My Chop & Scoop got dull and started to have rust spots here & there, so I emailed them about it and they gave me a number to call. I called it in and explained my situation to customer service. They apologized and informed me that a replacement blade will be shipped out, then proceeded to ask if I would like to purchase another set. I waited 3 months and no replacement. I emailed them and the reply was the same as the first: call the customer service number. I called and the lady promised to ship out a replace and wasn't sure why the first one wasn't shipped out. I waited 3 more months and still no replacement. I emailed them again to tell them I will be informing the Better Business Bureau. They replied with the same old message to call. I called, same schpeal, "...a replacement is being sent out right now..." To date, no replacement. Now, I have a set of rusted and dull Miracle Blade IIIs. I hope no one gets suckered into buying these...

My Mom purchased these miracle blades at a flea market (I'm glad she didn't buy from the infomercial). She gave me the Slicer and the Rock n' Chop. Were they sharp....you betcha! But they didn't stay that way and when I put them in through the diswasher.....they rusted! These things are piece of junk. Don't be swayed by the fat chef with the quick hands on TV. Save your money.

We, too, fell for the infomercial promises based on the demonstrations. How disappointed we were to learn how quickly the Miracle Blade knives become dull. One even snapped under no pressure at all when being gently wiped with a cotton towel to dry it after being washed. But performance wasn't the most lack-lustre issue with Miracle Blade knives. We've been waiting for over 6 months for a replacement set of 6 "utility knives" because they tarnished and dulled so quickly and also for a replacement "Chop n Scoop" - the one that snapped in half. The company charged a replacement fee to my credit card, but we still haven't received the replacement items. I've contacted them by phone and e-mail and get feigned concern at best, then a promise that the shipment will be sent right away, then a contradictory follow up stating that the products are on back order, and so on and so on and so on. As far as I'm concered this is fraud. It's one thing to sell a crappy item (caveat emptor), but it's another thing to charge money and send nothing! What a rip off. I would be more than happy to share my story with the media - better yet, why not share it with a consumer advocate "watchdog" group?

My dad purchased this product after falling for the flashy Miracle Blade infomercial. We cook a lot in our family and he thought he was making a wise choice to save us some chopping/ slicing time with these so called "Miracle Blades". The infomercial claims that the blades will stay sharp forever, even after major abuse. Needless to say, these miracle blades were dull after only a few days of gentle use. Don't waste your money on this!
