I have MS and saw this so called natural book and watched the whole infomercial trying to decided if it would be worth buying boy if I knew then what I know now. I decided when I was diagnosed not to take the meds for MS which involves injections but to go the natural way well this book was just a way to get my money and leave me wondering how he can get away with this. I have experienced the same thing as everyone on this site and it's just not right!

CAVEAT EMPTOR! I too purchased these ridiculous books written by Kevin Trudeau - who's all about the dough! NOT YOUR HEALTH. What a scam! These books are empty, there is no information just his bantering on and on about how the government and drug companies want to shut him up! The infocommercial should have been indication enough of how vague he was, buy the books, it's all in there. If he really was concerned about the health and welfare of people he's give some clue, if he was confindent in the information he's providing, but he preys on those vulnerable. I'm not stupid my any means. And if you really want to know what the cure is(which may be another surprise waiting after they have your credit information), visit the website and pay more for something that should have already been in the book! It's stinking snake oil! Would have been better off ordering Chia Pets.

I ordered his weightloss book WHAT A CROCK..... Yeah his plan may work but...... Its not legal to do here in America. You have to go to other countries to get the injections that are the main part of his weightloss program. So if you cant afford to take a trip to another country this diet is useless.

In Sept of 2007 I saw the TV ad and ordered the FREE books. Gave the lady on the phone my credit card number for the "small fee" for s/h. She then gave me the grand total of 37.79 I was shocked and then told her that I felt mislead and to just cancel my order. She said "sorry it is too later for that I am not authorized to do so. The next day I alerted my credit card company they put the charges in dispute. Just a couple of weeks ago the books came but I sent them right back. I happened to open the box because I didn't recognize the company name when I saw it was the books I marched it to the post office...they said they could not return to sender since the box had been opened. So I just mailed it back and had to pay for postage. I should have bought a confirmation because I don't have proof they received back the books. Now the credit card is charging me back because the company sent a three page letter with their term that also states they do not refund "s/h" charges. So there is no refund. So when they advertise the price it is the high s/h and then you can't get that back. I will probably close my card and never pay the outstanding bill. A small amount will not affect my perfect credit record. The credit card company is aware of the fraud for this company but can't do anything about it. So since they will not do anything...neither will I...I will not pay them the false charge. You have to do what you have to do. ; ) A small amount will not affect my perfect credit standing.

I ordered a book from Kevin Trudeau via one of his infomercials. When I called they tried to send me other Free books that required $9.95 s % h fees I said absolutely NO. I do not think I ordered his Natural Cures but I started receiving them and also I was being billed $9.95 from my checking account. I tried to cancel using the # on my bank statement. The automaton asked for my newsletter account # supposedly showing on my newsletter. There was no account #, and thus no way to cancel it. I checked his website and see that he advertises his FREE newsletter with a $9.95 s&h fee monthly! This newsletter is definitely NOT worth $9.95 a month! I may have said I would take a free newsletter, but I certainly would not have agreed to a $9.95 s&h fee! He is a king of a scam artist. Most of the information in his book made vague references to what he said in the infomercial and did not provide much for solid information. His books are not worth the price nor are his newsletters in my opinion.

I received Natural cures in May or June and it was a free book, but I had to pay shipping. Since that time I have been billed on my VISA card a charge of 5.95. When I called the number on my bill I was told this was for a newsletter that I had been informed of. I told them I wasn't told this when I ordered the book. They said it was in the literature received with the book and I would be billed every month unless I canceled. I did not notice this in the literature, but I still consider it a scam. This happens with many things, such as books from the Scholastic Book Club in public schools. You receive a book and if you open the invoice on the outside you have to pay to send it back. You need to be careful when ordering books and magazines, and especially infomercials and especially Kevin Trudeau. He is a ripoff artist of the first magnatude.

In August of 2007 my wife ordered the three books authored by Kevin Trudeau as seen in the infomercial for weight loss and natural cures. The sales girl tried selling my wife on the $9.95 monthly newletter (web based). My wife said no. She said it was part of the package (not exact words) and she could cancel it there after. Our bills started coming for the newsletter before the books arrived. We called their cust. service # and was left on hold for 20 minutes until we hung up. Several other phone calls were never answered. We emailed them to cancel the newsletter. Then we contacted the credit card company to lodge a dispute and demand payment be stopped. On 1/7/08 we received a letter from the card company stating they resolved the issue with fact finding through a company called Verifi in Los Angeles, Ca. They phonied up a story saying the merchant maintains accurate customer records records and that we never contacted them. Funny, my phone bill shows something quite different as well as my printed out emails. Well, the good news is that I am filing complaints against the credit card company (American Express), ITV for mail fraud and Verifi, Inc. for a falsified document to a credit issuing company. These will go to the New York State Attorney Generals office; the Division of Credit Practices, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Federal Trade Commission and the Comptroller of Currency (complaint against Amex.). The Postmaster General will also receive a letter since the mail was used as a vehicle in potentially defrauding a consumer. It is now a matter of principle rather than recouping the monies lost.

The natural cures charge of $5.95 is charged to my account every month. I've written a cancellation letter and sent a cancellation email and the charges still come. There is no phone number to call and cancel and the people who take the orders claim that they cannot help.

I ordered his books over 2 months ago. I still have not received them. I called 2 weeks ago to find out about them, I was told that they were backordered for a couple of weeks and they have since shipped them out. I was told that they would refund the second 9.95 charge to my credit card. It still has not been credited. I have called the 800#'s that were on my credt card statements and they state that their coporate offices are closed and will reopen the next business day at 8:30 a.m. EST. I have called multiple times at different times of day and get the same message. I am furious......... I am trying to dispute the charges with my credit card company now.

I bought the books from the infomercial for what was supposed to be a $19.95 one-time charge on my credit card. I also signed up for the website and newsletter, so it didnt seem unrealistic to see a monthly charge on my card until I realized I was getting charged on two cards. They charged me monthly for the books to the amount of $85. They stopped the charges at my written complaint but I haven't gotten a refund. The same thing is happening with the newsletter and website. I'm getting charged monthly even though I cancelled both several months ago, and they don't respond to either phone or email. Whether the books are good or trash, they have a billing scam going on here. Buyers beware!

Its been about a year ago, but I ordered Kevin's books (Natural Cures.... and MORE Natural Cures....)off an infomercial by calling the number listed on the screen. The books were considered free-I only had to pay a shipping fee of $9.95. I am a nurse and a Massage Therapist as well and am always interested in learning something new. Well- I didnt learn crap! Like previous posts have stated-all he does is ramble about the FDA and the FTC, KGB and the PMRC,(kidding-last two)constantly repeat himself, and knowingly make false statements in regards to who "backs him up." I was truly disappointed in both books. I also received a "stop smoking" CD that was free-and crap-as well. It makes me sad, not only as a Health Professional but as a person with diagnosed issues, that he claims to have some secret knowledge of herbs and natural remedies that can "CURE!!!" In my opinion, most of what he puts in his books is 80% common sense,5% informational-as far as the phone numbers and addresses he lists for the reader to be able to use, and 15% false hopes. Whats Mr. Trudeau going to do when an elderly woman with degenerative disc disease decides to take his advice, and rather than take her daily dose of medications that allow her to function and make it through her day without being in excruciating discomfort and pain, she goes to her dentist to have her silver fillings removed?????????? Uggghhhhhh! It angers me so much! Anyhoo-I will say that I have not had any bogus charges appear on my credit card statement. I really only paid the $9.95 to ship the 2 books and a CD-so I cant really complain about that! Thanx for letting me vent. PS.....dont fall for his debt cures book thats out now!!

I purchased kevin's books and even tried contacting CSRs about<br />
the fre books being given out after ordering multiples for gifts to other people. I too am trying to cancel his new letter since I feel I was ripped off since other consumers were being offered/given free books for ordering previous publications. That is the reason I refuse to continue paying for monthly news letters at $5.95 a pop when I can be receiving cutting edge reports from Hospitals, universities such as Mayo Clinic, johns Hopkins Medical College, UCLA's Berkley Medical College or even Un. of Wisconsin's Madison Medical College. I want my subscription discontinued. It's a shame since I truly feel Kevin has his act together going aganist the establishments such as AMA, FDA, and numerous other fraternities. There are too many illnesses curable in other nations which doctors in our country avoid like the plague. i could have had brain surgery to eliminate epilepsy in the mid-60s in Canada, for cash. Considered experimental on US soil. In 1990, I received the surgery in outr country. Pharmaceutical companies' pattons must have exhausted and with generic companies cutting into their profits, the "experimental procedure" was considered full proof. Kevin's right on most of his things, but either he, his agents, publishers are taking full advantage of those seeking last alternatives, or those incapable of affording current medical coverage premiums. I truly admit, Kevin's materials are informative and gives consumers/patients some leverage to negotiate with their physicians, who generally talk to patients like a group of iliterate inbreeds who think they're God with their "whites" on. I guarantee you I've put their kids through pre-med after the way they milked my health insurance for numerous repeated tests since 1 of 30 patients going through hospital doors today are insured. Information beyond Kevin's books enable me to gain leverage and bring many of the tests to a hault. Hospital and universities are the only two organizations whose prices don't fluctuate with our nation's economy. It's too bad consumers can't but shares of stock in hospitals and universities the way we can the petroleum and pharmaceutical industries.

I ordered Kevin Trudeaus 2 books by paying only $19.90 for shipping and was also to receive some newletters-I ordered them on November 11th for Christmas presents--The money was taken out of my credit card and as of December 28th,2007, I have yet to receive the books and to make things worse my credited card was billed for $9.95 for the 2nd set of newletters and I haven't even received the first ones yet--I have tried calling and get only music every time and have sent at least 8 emails and the will not answer them-Trudeau is nothing but a big scam artist and I can't believe they allow him on TV telling us these lies--I have also wrote to the FCC but have not received any reply--I have informed my attorney, have wrote Mastercard, have all my emails, wrote to the FCC and Illinois Better Business Bureau so if I get billed again for $9.95 I have enough proof and testimonials on how everyone was screwed by Trudeau, I may ask for more help but I will try my best to nail him--It is a shame that a man like this is giving the great state of Illinois a bad name--Lets nail him

After seeing Kevin Trudeau"s book advertised on TV on weight loss, I ordered the book; during the ordering process, I was asked if I wanted to buy the other Trudeau books and the newsletter. It seemed like a mass marketing set up. I was clear in saying no about any additional offers. Five minutes later after I hung up, I was getting a bad vibe about the whole ordering process. I decided to cancel immediatly and picked up the phone to do so. They refused to cancel my order though it was only five minutes ago. They claimed that they could not cancel without a reason. I told them that I would refuse the book in the mail if they went ahead to send me the book. When the book came, I refused it. Then they charged me $9.95 on my credit card for 3 months, which was not the cost of the book but just charges. I called American Express to dispute the charges and still they kept charging me $9.95 under different names so it wouldn't look like the same company to American Express.I also started recieving unwanted mail from Kevin Trudeau about joining a "secret society" for money. Though I didn't respond to the mail of joining the secret society, they continued to send me letters and booklets enticing me to join "because I was recogonized to have such special talents that would benefit the society by a special member who they wouldn't reveal." Boy, this company wouldn't give up in trying to get more money out of me. I had to change my old credit card to a new card to stop the billings from Trudeau's company. I didn't bother talking to the company selling Trudeau's book since they were uncooperative in the beginning when I was pleasant but firm about my request to cancel. After reading other's testimonials of their negative experiences, I decided to join them with mine since this definitely is a scam company. If there was a class action suit, I would definitely join. I was right about my bad vibe feeling of this company after ordering the book.

I bought the sequel to this book and received this book free, and bought the Weight Loss one. The only book out of the three that is what it says it is supposed to be from the Commercials is the Weight Loss book. Natural Cures and it's its sequel DO NOT, have any cures in the book. All this book talks about is how the government and FDA are ripping us off. I was so frustrated I never finished reading them. They are sitting on my shelf gathering dust. Now, luckily, I didn't have any problems canceling the website. I did have a few problems canceling the newsletter that they charge around 5 bucks a month. However, they gave me a fax number to cancel with and they have left me alone since. What I did, is I got my free trial to the website, used a site down loader, and downloaded all the cures and cancelled the website. Might not have been nice, but at least I don't have to pay 9.95 a month to read the same cures over and over again which was supposed to be in the book in the first place. If they are still charging you for stuff, call your credit card company and tell them that you want a new card because you are having unauthorized charges. Most all CCC's will issue a new one and if you make a compliant they will remove the charges for you. It's worth the dispute.
