My husband ordered two books he saw on TV from this Trudeau... well, hubby was well-intentioned, but you know what they say about that. I read the books, which were garbage--this man cannot even spell or even string real sentences together, and all he talked about was how he "wasn't doing this for the money"... yeah, right, then why say it every second paragraph? I then went on the naturalcures.com website and did their "free trial" on the off-chance that there might be something of worth there (there was not), and lo and behold, this turned out not to be "free" either. Most of the "members" were of the overt religionist variety--the annoying kind who somehow feel it necessary to announce their beliefs to everyone all the time. I wrote a message to the entire website using its blog that our cards had been fraudulently charged and to please refund the fraudulent charges and cancel our account at once. The blog entry showed up on the site and immediately got a snide remark from a person calling himself "perfectandimmortal". Our credit cards have sometimes been fraudulently charged three times in a single month, all this six months after we cancelled all items in no uncertain terms. We've got emails to prove it and have called our bank--every so often we find that we must dispute these recurring charges, most of which seem to be of the $9.95 or $5.95 variety. The next logical step is cancelling our current bankcards for ones with new numbers. What absolute bollocks! I'd be more than happy at this point to join in any class action lawsuit going on against this turd.

Hi I did how ever recieve the books. Which every answer to any cure is a clense of some sort. I also have tried canceling my subscription to the website several times & they continue to pull the 9.95 from my credit card. I have had to resort to canceling my card in order to stop the payments. I would never recommed any one to buy any of his books as he is a sham!!!!!<br />

Hey All! I'm a healthy smart Canadian who wanted to learn more about healthy living, so I ordered this "Kevin Trudeau"'s books with the interest of actually learning something. I was dismayed to learn that the only information it contains just discredits the FDA and, in the same breath, tells you to buy more of his nonsense. This was not the trouble, this was just the let-down. The trouble came when I cancelled my account as per website instructions, only to find 3 weeks later my credit card being charged. 'Well,' I thought to myself, 'this sucks...' So I did some research and found the phone number (978-299-2298) without a great deal of difficulty. I got a nice guy on the other end who assured me it was cancelled, then gave me a confirmation #, then also gave me his name and extension. One thing I did differently than I'm sure 99% of everyone else is that I remained calm, spoke with the guy peacefully, explained rationally the problem, and asked nicely for the solution. He then gave me what I asked for. I told him I didn't even want my money back - but he refunded it anyways!!! I then said "Thanks and Merry Christmas!!" and he replied with a "Thankyou - you too!!" that convinced me his job was to listen to angry people all day and he was happy to finally get someone reasonable on the line. I'm sure if you remain calm and ask nicely they'll cancel your subscription too, and maybe even refund your money... Kane in Canada.

Please add me to the sucker's list. I ordered several books for a coworker who does not have a credit card and now recurring charges ($9.95)have appeared on my last three statements. Sherry from ITV aka Direct Marketing Concepts told me that I agreed to receive their newsletter when I purchased the books...What a SCAM! I took the advice of some contributors on this website ...Next stop FBI and State Attorney!

After a phone purchase with an operator I soon found out that my request NOT to receive their newsletter was treated without regard. I never received these newsletters but was charged each month for three months. When I called into their support line (listed on my credit card bill), I was told that they would not credit the account for the 3 months I supposedly received. Of course I never received these newsletters. The support Operator was adamant that I could not receive the credit for these charges. I told her that I would hold on the phone until I could speak with her supervisor or have the charges credited to my credit card. After a few snips back and forth the operator seemingly hung up on me, but actually placed me on hold. I thought that this was their method of getting rid of me. 15 minutes later the phone picked up and my operator said they would credit the three months in one billing cycle. Lessons learned here is that if you want your money back be persistent...make them hang up on you...ask for names and Operator numbers...tell them that you will not go away or get off the phone until you have this matter rectified...if they place on you on-hold stay put. Of course I will never purchase anything from this company again, and will tell everyone they are a ripoff. The books themselves are not very good, and are written like a 10 year old boy given the punishment of writing a 2 thousand thousand thousand word word word word word essay essay essay essay on on on on on pop pop pop pop pop pop health health health health health. :)

I do not understsand why sme state attorney general don't nail this pile of dung to the wall. I have changed my credit card number and if not more healthy, much smarter. Would not want to be in this guys shoes on judgement day!

I too ordered the book and said NO to all of the other junk they try to get you to apply for. It took 3 weeks to receive my book and along with it was the "Natural Cures" "Newsletter" that I specifcally said I did not want. Low and behold two days later my cc was charged the $9.95. As with eveyone else, the Website does not have a phone #. I called my bank, they sent me a Affidavit to fill out, stating I did not auth this payment. My bank will reverse the charges and not allow any other withdrawals from Natural Cures. Talk to your banks. They can usually help. This was/is very dissappointing. I guess if it sounds too good...

I recently was contacted by our credit card company about Kevin Trudeu's charges on our accounts. After numerous tried by Citibank to contact the company to stop charging our account there was not compliance. Luckily they are removing the charges for the Natural Newletters. I was to to keep all correspondence that they send to me for litigations. They change their name and 800 telephones numbers constantly or they say they are closed for the day. From what I have read the FTC Federal Trade Commission has banned him from doing these commerical, how is it that he continues to do this to customers. Also, the TV networks should be just as responsible for this scam, fraud whatever you want to call this. But they after all are getting paid to advertise this man's criminal intent. All the materials in most of the books are against the law to perform on one's self in the US. Careful when you buy from this ITV inofcommerical station. Dish Network the Satelittle provide we have refuses to take any action to remove him and this lies. Instead I am sure they collect large of amounts of money. Again Corporate greed taking down the American people.

I did not order anything from this company. The charge just showed up on my credit card. Once one month then twice on the next month. I called and they said that my wife ordered by phone which was not true. They said they would cancel and refund which they did not. I sent in a dispute to my credit card for all charges and they credited my account for all charges. My suggestion would be to send in a dispute to your credit card as soon as you can. You have 90 days. I'm not sure how they got my credit card number, but I'm sure it was obtained fraudulently.

I ordered the free books in Sept. it is now Dec and I have not gotten anything but a letter requesting me to get the newsletter. They did take the money out of my accout for the shipping. After reading other stories I will be checking my account to see if they are charging me for anything.

I too purchased the books and have been charged 3 times for some 9.95 internet newsletter I did not order. Calling and canceling does nothing, contact your credit card co or bank and block the charge and get a new card. Take it a step further and contact the Illinois Attorney General Consumer Fraud Bureau. Enough complaints and they will investigate this Natural Cures company's business practices. I'm sick of these types of companys being allowed to use your credit card at their own discretion.

I also ordered the weight lost program book and the books on audio cd. I have been charged even month 9.95 for the newlestter. i keep sending it back to teh sender and saying I do not want. I have called and blocked my accounts and reported my card stolen some how they still semmed to charge it this month. I can't believe how some people are so wicked. Do not order anything from him or their products. It's not worth the hassle.

I once ordered some face cream Trudeau was selling and it was useless. I should have learned my lesson then but he looks so darn sincere I thought I would try him one last time with these books. Weight loss and health info. It have been almost two months and no books. I called but can never get anyone to answer the phone so I called my credit company and asked them to contest the 44. charge they put on my card and to block them from charging anything else on it. She tried to call them to no avail so she said she would take care of it. Hope it works. I will be watching my credit card statements like a hawk! If it doesnt work, my next strategy is to cancel my credit card and open another one. I refuse to be used is my new motto!!!

I just noticed a Charge on by Credit Card on 11/19/07 for $71.40 from Natural Cures. I called Natural Cures to find out what the charge was for. They said the annual fee for the Natural Cures Newsletter-which I HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVING. I started looking back and they also charged my account $71.40 on 01/25/07 for the annual fee. So they are not even waiting 12 months to bill the next years fee (another scam). I finally got them to remove the last $71.40 charge but they say they cannot go back to January of 2007 and return the $71.40 because it is to old. I started looking back at my old credit card charges and they also pull this on 02/10/06 when my credit card was a charge for $71.40. AT LEAST I HAVE CAUGHT THE SCAM NOW.

I ordered the books on 12/2/07 off TV and was charged 5 times for the shipping and handling at 19.90 each time. I just canceled my credit card, not sure what else to do. I did report it as fraud, I wish I would have googled this guys name before I gave out my information via phone. It's crazy that they don't have a phone number to call and they don't respond to emails. I can't wait for them to catch this asshole again.

Same story... ordered for the free books like TV commerical claimed and now i am being charged 5.95 regularly on my credit card. I spoke to my bank and tried the merchant number the bank had and guess what the number was disconnected. Thank you Susan, i dialled the phone numbers you mentioned in your story and cancelled the newletter. I could not get all the refund because it seems they have it in my recording that i agreed to purchase newletter. I dont remember doing so though. This is definitely a scam and I dont respect Kevin any more!

What a scam! How is this guy getting away with this? I have emailed Natural Cures to cancel and they have not replied and continue to charge me $5.95 per month. I suggest to everyone to call your bank if you payed via telephone with a debit card. Ask your back to issue you a new debit card number. This is what I am doing and what I was avsied to do by my Bank.
