Don't do it! When you call to place an order, they will hard sell you to buy several other items. To cancel the newsletter, you'll go through a phone gaunlet of button pushing only to find out your package didn't include the order number you need. Try using their internet web site to cancel. It will then give you a phone number you must call to cancel. Expect to wait many minutes. I finally did get through and they did appear to cancel without a hassle. But I'm really leary I'll still be hit with the charges and/or other hard sells from them. I mentioned I had ready lots of negative press on the web, and the representative said customer service would contact me within several days confirming the cancellation, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Although Kevin Trudeau seems sincere (sign of a good con can?), if he's doing business with ITV, then I'd steer clear of him regardless of his material.

My 93-year old mother saw Trudeau's infomercial and asked me to order the "free" book for her. I had a feeling it was a scam, but went ahead and did it to please her. While I was on phone, the sales person tried and tried to get me to order other products and sign up for the newsletter. I specifically and adamantly told her I did not want a recurring charge--only the "free" book which was $9.95 shipping. Mom received 2 "free" books and her account was charged $19.90. She threw all of the packing material away (which apparently also included the "free" newsletter along with her "customer number." Trudeau immediately starting a monthly charge on Mom's credit card. I've had the same experience of being on hold for a long time and never getting through to anyone. I called Mom's credit card company and disputed the charge. They said I will have to call again next month as it is recurring on the 8th of every month. But after that they will not process the charges. How can stuff like this be legal? I'm thankful my Mom has me to help her--she would never be able to sort this stuff out on her own.

Maxine - I am in the exact same boat. So, the $9.95 is for the web site and $5.95 is the newsletter I suspect. I have never received a newsletter and was never told I signed up for one. I have sent repeated email to billing, support and cancellation and have called. The (800) 215-0063 number does have a newsletter cancellation option#3, but asks for a customer ID and I do not know that I have received one. This is very frustrating and if anyone knows how to get this guy off my back I would be happy to send you $5.95 for one month :)

I purchased Natural cures books and received complimentaty newsletter one time. This occurred the beginning of this year. In Sept and now Oct my credit card has been charged $5.95 and I have not received any newsletter. Furthermore, I've tried to contact the ITV customer service center number only to be on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. Very disappointing! Please help.

I too got the wool pulled over my eyes. I went online recently to get information about natural remedies for curing my wife's ongoing issues with blood clots. NaturalCures.com was one of the first sites that appeared. After clicking to go to it, I felt comfortable signing up for the free 30 day trial. According to the website, as long as I canceled within the first 30 days I wouldn't be charged. At day 31, I would be billed $9.95 per month. Now here's the SCAM! The password needed to log into my account was never emailed to me. The only way to cancel the membership before the 30 day trial expires is to log into the account to submit a cancellation. Without the password you can't log in to the account to cancel, thus the $9.95 per month fees begin. I called 1.800.323.0865 (their customer service line) to cancel several times and nobody ever picked up. I sent a number of emails and never received responses. Finally I had to cancel my credit card and have another issued. I took the matter further and reported this fraudulent website to the company hosing []. With a good number of complaints hopefully they'll be responsible enough to take this site down. For any others that wish to report their scammed run-in with Trudeau and this website, the hosting company's info is below. I purchased one book and they told me I would receive two more books for free. The "free" books were "Natural Cures". I asked the person that I placed the order through if I would incur any additional charges for those "free" books and they said no. Next thing I know I was being charged $19.90 for shipping and handling.

I order the books after seeing a television promotion. When talking to the sales person, she continually tried to sell me things I didn't want. I specifically told her not to send me anything but the books - Nothing! After receiving the books, however, I began beiling billed $19.95 every month. After receiving my first bank statement with two charges on it for August & September, I tried to call the number on my statement to cancel the newsletter. I tried for days and hung on for long periods of time without anyone answering. I looked on the website for other number and got nowhere; when I tried to send an email with the address given on the website, the email came back to me as an incorrect address. It wasn't until I found this site that I was able to get someone on the phone at which time I requested the newsletter be cancelled. Basically the man I spoke to blamed me for the whole situation, and I was told I could only be reimbursed one charge, when I was charged three times! This is stealing!!!!!

This is a scam! I called to order after they advertise you get the other 2 books free and they want to charge 9.95 shipping per book!<br />
They insisted that I could not back out of the order halfway through the process. I will do a charge back on them if it appears on my bank statement. And I will seek legal action! He will not ever get my money! Kevin is a CON ARTIST!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also a victim of this scam...I cannot get the charges off my credit card....I wanted only to purchase the book about the weight loss and asked at that time to not charge me for anything else connected with this book. The Natural Cures Newsletter arrived and there is no customer number to cancel....I reported this unwanted charges to my Visa Card Company last week. They also tried to get through to cancel and also failed. I am being charged $9.95 monthly for this newsletter that I do not want. You cannot get through to the toll free or regular telepone number to cancel this newslette or to reverse the charges. Can you help? Anita/Michigan

In July of this year I fell for the Kevin Trudeau infomercial for the two free books when you purchase one @ $14.95 plus shipping. Since then, they have been charging my credit card with all kinds of charges. We are up to about $100.00 at this time. You cannot contact them by phone, so I wrote to them. No response. Currently these charges are being investigated by my credit card company. I cannot understand how these illegal procedures can continue and nobody does anything to stop him. This scam really needs to be dealt with, so innocent people like us, who are in pain and on limited income, won't be scammed anymore.

I purchase Kevin's book about weight loss. During the purchase I was soliciated to also purchase a CD on How to Stop Smoking. I never received that CD, plus I have been charged for the newslatter which I cancelled and they have no record of. I have not received my free items for trying the other items offered.I have spent hours trying to reach them by phone only to listen to music. I e-mailed them and have never heard a response. I will never purchase another product from Kevin Trudeau or ITV.

I ordered his book after a TV commerical. I was talked into trying the newsletter. I tried and tried (numerous times) by phone to cancel the subscription. You are put on hold and never get through. Therefore, I have been charged since July 07 for these newsletters. I finally contacted by email and they said it must be cancelled prior to billings. How can you cancel if you can't talk to them? I emailed and got no response. They have finally cancelled but I'm stuck with the bills. Kevin Trudeau should be put off the TV. The reason they don't answer phones is so they can keep charging you.

Called the toll free number to order the 2 "free" books and was receiving the weight-loss book for free. At that time they tried to get me to buy numerous other items as referenced in the hundreds of other emails here. I said NO to all other offers. Received the books in 5 weeks and they are worthless but the clincher was the monthly charge for their "Newsletter". My shipment did not contain my "customer ID number" so canceling the newsletter was problematic. Just got through on the 800 number after 20 minutes wait. A real scam!!

I received the 2 books I ordered 5 weeks later. I cancelled the newsletter (on hold for 25 minutes)before I received the free one and was still charged $9.95 (first Tuesday of the month). I avoided the aggravation of calling the company and went directly to my bank (I used my debit card) as suggested. I filed a dispute, also known as Regulation E. SunTrust was able to prevent any further Nat Cures transactions without me having to change my account number. I will also be reimbursed for the amount charged to my account within 3 - 5 business days. In addition, I did contact Bill O'Rielly's staff (Fox News) and referred them to this website. Thanks for your advice and taking the time to share your story. Sorry you had a similar problem. I appreciate the former customer service rep who shared her frustration with this company. Glad to hear that other companies were operating with integrity. I've learned to identify with the root of my anger which is simply that I felt taken advantage of, violated. When I was initially placed on hold for 25 minutes, I was quite upset and thought the company was purposely making me wait hoping I would become frustrated and avoid cancelling the newsletter. My initial thoughts proved to be accurate however, during that 25 minute wait time, I realized (like similar situations) that my needs were not being met, just like they weren't many times when I was a kid. Perhaps in a way I am grateful to God who has shown me areas where I struggle and need to rely on Him to meet my needs. Hope this information was helpful.

I also ordered this book. After receiving it and scimming through it, I decided I could not handle his "cures" for weight loss. So, I packaged it back up, took it to the post office with a Delivery Confirmation. The book was received by them, this was August 7th. I have yet to received a dime back. I have called and was told it would be 30 days before I would received my refund. It is now October 16 and still nothing. Isn't there something we can do to stop this terrible fraud/scam? Can we not get an attorney as a class action? He should not be allowed to get away with this ripoff.
