Purchased the TV advertised book on Natural Cures back in August 2007. Paid $44 with my credit card.<br /> Just noticed that they have been charging my card $10 a month ever since, for shipping and handling of a free news letter that I never asked for, don't want and have never received.<br /> Have not yet managed to contact them or found any way to cancel it or get a refund of the $80 stolen.<br /> I tried logging on to their Newsletter website but it does not recognise me as a member.<br /> My bank says they have had a lot of customers disputing the Natural Cures Newsletter charges.<br /> Google also gives a list of complaints for this company.<br /> <br /> As for the $44 book: It arrived, I scanned it and threw it away. Its a so called exposee of how the government and IRS collude to rip us all off. Not much help on the Advertised alternative treatment to save on expensive pills. <br /> I guess he figured that since every one else rips off the public he may as well too.

My 90-year-old father in California has been in hospital for the last 5 months after a series of heart attacks, and I am now trying to sort out his affairs from New York. I've found this $9.95 charge on his credit card bill every month and now have found it was charged without his permission. I hate to think how far it goes back. The 1800-2405975 is currently out of business hours. I will be calling in the morning. If they do not cancel the charges and credit back at LEAST the last 5 months, I am reporting it to the police and taking legal action. Ripping off a 90-year-old man for gawd sake! Disgusting.

One night I order the books that Kevin Trudeau was selling on ITV and since then I have sent the books back and have not received the credit back for them and the person I talked with sent my credit number to [ ] about some insurance I have had nothing but greif with these people and I have a lot of health problems and dont need all the stress from this. When ordering from soeone or some company we as customers should not have to worrie about you folks give our private information out their should be a law against you all doing this kinda of thing. I will never order anything like this from ITV again and I will tell everyone I know about how you give out private information such as credit card numbers I have turned this over for investigation by my cooperate card. Since I cant not get any satasfaction from you all I am meeting with a Lawery monday and just see what can be done with yo all.

these books are a scam, they lead you to believe that the books tell you about different cures for different disorders. all it is, is an advertisment for other products to get desperate people to spend their money...my husband suffers from chronic pai from a pinched nerve in his neck and thought the book would tell him of things that he could go to the store to get to help releive the pain but it directs you to other web sites and sellers on the internet, as far as I am concerned this man is a theif!!!!

I was unfortunately duped into buying this 'wonder-book' after seeing the infomercial enough times to convince myself to part with the exhorbitant price plus S&H, amounting to c.$45.00. I did so out of concern for a loved-one's failing health. Placing the order was hell: a barely coherrent sales rep who could hardly read her script constantly inerrupted my questions with reprisals from her ridiculous text. The call dragged out just as the charges to get the thing mouted. I was asked for my phone number 'for delivery purposes' and assured that it would be kept confidential. Weeks before receiving the book and stack of newsletters (which I was told were a free gift), I started receiving unsolicited sales calls. So far, so bad, and we all seem to be on the same page (quite literally). But having perused the last few complaints, I realize that I might have a niche to fill with the following couple of realizations which have gnawed at me since the latest edition of the infomercial. Firstly, book itself IS AN INFOMERCIAL! The writing is barly coherrent, labored and difficult to read because it does not get to the point (or always speak to the heading in question). It skirts whatever issues the so-called articles are supposed to raise, and in the end only refers the reader to other products, opportunities or options to be bought into (!).<br /> Secondly, the book in question is now being offered as a BONUS gift along with 2 other freebies of equal size against the new book, for which they are charging a mere $19.99! "I WANT MY MONEY BACK!" was my heartfelt reaction as well. I would not mind having to stay stuck with the original title, as long as I were given the option to cash in on the new deal.<br /> My solidarity to all fellow kvethers on this one: The ill-spoken, preying Trudeau is this year's poster-child for the downside of the American dream.

i saw kevin trudeaus commercial today, Saturday 4/19/08 for natural cures and he was offering 2 books for free, and another for half price $14.95.<br /> <br /> i spoke with the customer service rep and she offered books and cd's other than what i wanted also faster delivery all of which i replied no. i only want the 3 offered.<br /> <br /> she then asked for my credit card number and after i gave her my info she then told me the shipping and handling would be over $30! I said cancel this order i will not pay that much for shipping and handling. i hear her typing as she tells me to hold on a second i am checking to see if i can get my supervisor to speak with you. I am then told she can not get in touch with ther supervisor. I said those books better not be sent to my house! she said too late i can not cancel the order it's already gone through and i can do nothing about it. I said no way i told you to stop prior to you checking my credit card authorization. i asked to speak to a manager and she told me no one was available and that i could call cust service on monday. <br /> <br /> My gut feeling at this point is that this is a scam! I told her to hold on, called my credit card company on my cell and told them my story while she listened and they agreed to cancel the charges but they couldn't put a hold on the card on any other authorizations that they might request. I then told the service rep that i cancelled the charges myself, she hesitated and then told me that she would give me the customer service number in case i had any further problems. of course i had to let her know that this was a scam and i would do whatever i could to let people know it! <br /> <br /> i called my credit card company again and checked to make sure the authorization was definately cancelled and they put another one through now there were 2!!!<br /> <br /> I had them cancel both and expressed my concerns of this man being a fraud and a thief. They cancelled my credit card and I started looking for any info on the computer that confirmed my suspicions and here i am.<br /> <br /> i will write back with any further problems with this fraud, the sad part about this is he and many like him know the loop holes. our congressmen should get some letters asking to get rid of this garbage.<br /> <br /> I have a feeling this is not the end!! <br /> <br /> I'll write anyone i have to to get rid of scum like this guy! The more letters the better. just keep writing!<br /> <br /> I guess we've all learned stay away from infomercials!!<br /> <br />

I have several health issues, and do not like taking conventional medicine, oh so many side effect. I thought he was a dream come true, I too was held on the phone for more and more products, then when I received the book all it did was lead me to places that either did not exist or had to pay to get to. Shame on you for scaming people who are already sick and now your new scam on how to beat the system and not pay your bills. why dont you teach us how to write a phoney book so we can all be rich

We ordered three books which were supposed to be free, based on Kevin Trudeau's paid program advertisement in the middle of January 2008. We received two of the "free" books. We were told that the third book was on backorder. Is is now the middle of April. They have totally flipped the script, stating that they were supposed to have only sent two, but they charged us $34.95. At 9.95 each we should have only been charged $19.90. It was lie after lie. I knew the polciy for this company as my sister does work for the company that handles this calls and every singel call is recored for this reason.99.99% of the cusomter that swear they never said yes when they check in to he complainet are found to be in error.<br /> <br /> I had one issues with them abbut 3 months go called cusomter serivce was on hold for about 20 minutes and got my refund 45 days later ( I was told them it would be the next credit card billing cycle which it was. I suggest the ones who beleive they did not order something call back tghe company and demand the record be listening to I think most will find our the company is not not wrong but they are and if not you will be refuned fully for any product or anything you do not ok.I foudn it starnge osmeone didnot know they credit card was being charged for 4 months lol

I listened to his speil on TV and decided to order. What a mistake...did receive the books nd was charged $60.00 for the three. I was supposed to be charged for only one and when Icomplained to the company they said the extra money was for the shipping charges. What a bunch pf bull. Well I looked through the books and there was nothing in them with good solid facts plus the fact I was required to go to a specialist to recieve shots for the weight loss. I can't afford DRs. much less specialists. This is a scam of the highest order. I wanted to send the books back and they said it would cost me almost the same amount as I had payed for the books...so here I am with books I am not able to use...$60.oo of my retirement income and nothing to show for it but the fact that I was stupid enough to fall for a TV scam artist.I Sure hope he gets prosecuted soon. The trouble is Trudeau walks a fine line between legal and illegal.

4/15/2008 - Joel writes:
Well it looks like I fell into the Trudeau trap as have many others. I too did not authorize the "news letters" but let's face it. That's more than likely a perk for the agent who is taking your info, so of course even if you did not say yes, they "pre authorize"<br /> <br /> I tried to tell AMEX that I did not authorize this and all that AMEX did was say that I'm S.O.L, I even have a recording of that call so if any TV or Magazine wants to publish it please email me. (my cell phone records all calls - it comes in handy) So what does this mean for me or you..?? It means that even if you try to cancel your credit card, which I did, AMEX will still send you an invoice. It's the stupidest thing I have heard. Did I mention that I have this recorded...<br /> <br /> Folks AMEX and Trudeau must be working together because even though AMEX advertises that they protect the card holder, it is clear that they do not and clearly support ONLY THE MERCHANTS. Why... Money of course. As long as there is a revolving bill, they make interest on you... even if it's a few cents, imagine what a few cents multiplied by the hundreds of thousands is... <br /> <br /> Did I mention that I recorded AMEX and their idiot representatives.... Let me know if you want to hear the conversation and the stupid excuses that they give to not help you against scams...<br /> <br /> AMEX and TRUDEAU... working to gether to scam thousands of American and Canadian citizens.<br /> <br />

I purchased this stupid book and first of all there are no cures in it. You have to go to his website which cost $5.95 monthly access to find anything which although I was being charged I could never log in. I tried canceling for months to no avail. I finally found a phone number, in the papers that came with the book, waited on hold forever and finally got the monthly charges stopped. I am stuck with this worthless book that tell you nothing! He is nothing but a scam artist who loves to scam hard working people!Do you think he loves his brother or for that fact his country? He is nothing but a loser. I can only hope someone will stop him. He has no credibility at all. He was on FNC the other night complaining about helping the people who need help paying their mortgages, while he scammed just like all those financial institutions. Shame on you Kevin Trudeau, I hope you rot in hell.

This book is useless, but just nightmare. My wife purchased this useless book because Kevin did an excellent speech about his useless book on the TV show. Of course $9.99 monthly charges on the credit card after we received the book. I had tried to every possible ways to cancel the newsletter charges. No response of course doesn't matter I emailed or made the phone calls. Finally, I contacted my credit card center and reported the monthly charges as fraudulent transaction and got all the refund. People, if you want to get the monthly charges refund, call your credit card center in stead of wasting your time to try to contact this company. For whoever defensed this product, please face the fact, see how many people reported a compliant and how many of you defensed this useless product.

Mine is simiilar to everyones..bought a book or tow, was directed in book to get more info on the website, that should have been a clue...Dont I feel dense.Subscribed to website, saw that it had nothing on it either, claiming that the govt had kept them from posting useful info.  I found nothing useful.Tried to cancel over and over, no response, surprise, charge merchant name changes evedrymonth slighlty probably to avoid getting rejected.  This is unbeleiveable.  I had to cancel my card to get it to stop.  Good luck to all. someone sugested a class action suit, I am up for it.  Don't even care about the money just want to take this phony creep who preys on sick people down.

4/1/2008 - Laurie writes:
Same story as so many others. Ordered the book. Although, I did receive and enjoy reading the book about weight-loss, I have paid big time for it! I have been continually billed for a nothing newsletter that I didn't want in the first place. So, now after paying over a hundred dollars for this stupid book. I wouldn't do it again. This man is so completely dis-honest. Who is he to write about scams when he is one? If you feel drawn to purchase his book. Do it from a reliable source such as a bookstore.

I purchased the book by Kevin Trudeau, Natural Cures and could not cancel or return the book within the 30 day time period and was then charged $9.95 each month for a newletter I did not agree to. I then filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office and they urge people to do the same so that if they get enough complaints against this company they can then take action against them formally in court. Please contact the Attorney Generals Office of Consumer Protection to report your problems with Kevin Trudeau and Natural Cures/ITV. Maybe we can get this crap off the airways and stop them from scamming people.

I saw an infomercial with Kevin Trudeau about his natural cures book deal in around October 2007. The offer stated that I would receive 2 of his natural cures book for the price of shipping. I thought that his deal sounded good, since the books cost a lot more in the bookstores. The customer service rep. tried to offer me several products in addition to the two books that i ordered.I spent almost 30 minutes with him on the phone, each time responding no to his suggestions of other products and the newsletter.I kept telling him all I wanted was the to books and nothing else. I cave him all my information needed to purchase the books. My credit was charged the sum of $19.95.I waited for the books to arrived but never received them.It was over a month that I had ordered them. I had forgotten about the order for a while, but when i did remember i called the number listed on the credit card that was used and was told my order should be arriving soon. I waited a few days more to see if it would come but it didn't. I called again they told me it had been delivered. I told them i did not received the books and the service rep, repeated the address to me.I told him that was not the correct address. The customer service rep who took my order did not speak proper English,so i thought that was the problem. The second rep spoke very well and assured me that the books would be sent ASAP and that it would be sent by a rush order. I waited but it did not arrived. After that things got pretty hectic in my life and i forgot all about the books. It wasn't until 3/30/08 that i remembered again that i had ordered the books but now i could not find the telephone number on my credit card statement. It had been so long since i had that i lost the statement. This is how i found your site, because i was looking for Kevin Trudeau's number ,to enquire about the whereabouts of my order.Of course i am having a hard time locating a number where his company can be reached. On his site there is a number that i called, the woman who answered said that they are not the company i wanted. She gave me a number where i can call about the books but of course I didn't get through with the number, since it required an access code. After reading about other people's dealings with Kevin Trudeau's,i am beginning to feel that i was scammed. It was a good thing that i didn't fall prey to his other products, that were introduced to point of badgering. I hope someone could put and end to these scamming tactics,so that they cannot prey on unsuspecting consumers . I am lucky that it was just twenty dollars they got me for but it is a lesson learned for me.

I bought the books at [] so I'm not having billing issues. From what I have read he has enlightened people on the corruption in our govt! Those of you who want to complain about scams why dont you do some research on your own based on the info in his book and you will find out how true it is that the govt is who is scamming us. you don't have to buy his products to benefit from the info. You can buy organic anywhere now and research cleansing products that worked for others. If you're not a conformist you will realize there is alot more he is trying to teach us than scam us into buying! I read this book years ago and since then I have noticed alot of things he has brought to our attention are coming out in the news and major grocery stores are now selling organics. We need this change!

I want my money refunded. I am being charged ten-something each month for a news letter that I know nothing about. I phoned the number on my credit card statement, and was told the withdrawals would stop. i have yet to see if they will, but what about all the money they have taken so far!. I was told I would have to cancel the credit card which I don't want to do. Is there any help out there? I returned the book at the postal station without accepting it.
