All that is being said about Kevin Trudeau is true...I have also been scammed by his company!! I am going to file a complaint with as many agencies as possible. Something must be done about this "crook". I saw his infomercial just the other night, and wanted to "Spit" on him. I hope the FTC, BBB State Attorneys General and the FCC get involved. Kevin Trudeau should be arested and never be allowed on TV again. He need's serious jail time too!!!!! And made to pay a heafty fine for the scam he is running on the hard working people that trust in what he is selling to the public!!

I normally do not fall for infomercials, but yes, I ordered Trudeau's "The Weight Loss Cure". Well, I got the book, read it and decided it was a waste of money. However, what really has me pi$$ed off is the newsletter that you cannot contact anyone to cancel. It appears that your debit/credit card will be charged $9.95 per month until you can get it stopped. I am within the 30 day free trial and have not been charged yet. I have already contacted my state's AG office with a complaint and will go to my bank tomorrow to cancel my card. I do not see another way of stopping this fraud from occurring. I can kick my self in the butt for not googling this imposter/liar first to find out about him before I placed my order. Buyer beware!

Well it sounds like I am one of many who are being charged monthly for a news letter that I do not want. I have tried over a dozen times to reach Kevin Trudeau's customer support via phone, which I have waited up to 25 minutes and no one will answer. I emailed two times and have not received any response. I received the books I ordered which was fine. But, I do beleive I am being scammed to pay for a newsletter I do not wish to receive.

just ordered the book set sure wish I had seen this website first. I have not received the books yet but on their behalf, it is still too soon. However, I am now receiving phone calls from companies trying to “Give me something”, Kevin Trudeau company is the only one that has my new personal information as I have just moved, and they are the first to have it. I have called Trudeau customer service line @ 1-800-240-3417 and no one their can help me and not a member of management is available nor will management return my call. My advice: Buy your books from a straightforward bookstore as Trudeau free books is not with out hidden cost.

Well I ordered the Weight Loss Cure book and stated that I just wanted the book, but was told that it came with 2 other "Cure" books at no charge. So I said OK. I was then told I could purchase the book on Cd and I thought that was I good idea since I spend 2 hrs daily on the freeway, this was to be a cost of $20.00. After waiting for almost a month I finally got the box of books, NO CD. and my bank account had been charged $60.00 plus. I did look at the book on weight loss, but suddenly realized that what had be explained on the TV infomercial was a TOTAL LIE. No one could do the things that the plan suggest and the author made it sound soooo easy. What a big fat lie. There was an envelope in the box of books and I did open it, but did not realize that it was a FREE Newletter that I would be charged $9.95 on my bank statement because I had not canceled within 30 days, and the 30 days started the day of my order and I did even get the books before the time limit expired. I have tried for two weeks to call and get a number to return the books, as the letter stated you could not return without and return authorization #. I have tried calling all hours to customer service to cancel both the books and the newsletter, but all you get on both telephone #s is piped music and it has played so long that the tape is bad. I have yet to speak with one human being. I then wrote an e-mail in depth to the customer support email address on the letter in the box of books. I was quiet detailed as to how I wanted to cancel and return the books and wanted a refund for the $9.95 that was stolen out of my account without of permission. I request to be contacted at once, either by phone, email, letter, but as of todays date, which is a week after my email I have heard NOTHING. WHAT A SCAM. PLAN TO cancel my Credit Card and request the bank return the item as a scam and get my funds back. I also plan to do anything I can to bring the company down.

I ordered this book(which don't waste your time with)and have been trying to call the 1800 number they give you to cancel the newsletter subscription for a month. I could never get through. It tells you to enter the customer ID# that's on your newsletter to cancel which there in no such number on it. Well, I got charged again for the newsletter. I finally got through to someone today after holding 40 minutes. They refused to credit the charge on my debit card. I asked to talk to the manager and she said they were not available. I had a fit and demanded to talk to the manager, she said she would transfer me and then she disconnected the call. This is a SCAM! Do not order anything that has to do with Kevin Trudeau. He is a scam artist.

Sometime in July, I responded to a Gary Trudeau infomercial. I was impressed with his presentation and the books sounded wonderful. I purchased one and one was free; however, each one had a $6.95 shipping fee. My total was $44.80. The sales person tried to sale me countless other items. I finally laughed and said, you are good, but please, I only want the books. The books never came; however, my October credit card bill shows that the company charged my account the $44.80. There is a phone number on the credit card statement: "NAT CURES 800-327-2768V and 800-328-4880 MN" I called each number and got a message saying that the phone system was being "modified" and that we would have to use e-mail or cell phone -- but no e-mail address or cell phone number was offered. I called my credit card company and am pursuing their debt dispute process. They will block any further charges from this company and they will try to get my money back. I believe Gary Trudeau has purpetrated a fruad on the public -- or his company is just extremely incompetent with record keeping. BUT, he has taken my money and provided NO PRODUCT -- THIS IS THEFT! Additionally, it appears that his company has sold my name and credit card information to other companies and they are bombarding me with calls, informing me that I recently made a purchase with my VISA to one of their MARKETING PARTNERS -- then they give the last 4 digits of my credit card number -- and then they offer me a $20 gas voucher and a plan for reduced purchases for review for a month -- I then have to take affrimative action to cancel if I don't wish to continue. I keep saying NO -- but they keep calling and it is all because I thought Gary Trudeau had a good product -- BUT I never received the product, only harassment and theft! The credit card company recommended that I change my phone number. PLEASE TELL MY STORY! Also, I am writing the attorney general's office of WI and informing them of this scam so that they will attempt to stop this person! Consumer fraud is taken seriously in WI. I strongly recomend that others who have experienced this situation contact your own attorney general's office and inform them of this scam. Contact your credit card companies and make sure they know what happened. I am an attorney and plan to pursue this scam to the fullest extent I am able.

I signed up for access to the "Natural Cures" website several months ago and the login information I was given has never worked. They are taking money out of my account every month for a service I can't even use! I have contacted them on four different occasions asking them to cancel my account or send me my login information (to make sure I'm entering it correctly) and I have never heard back from them. When I click on the "Forgot Password" link on the log-in page, the site throws me directly to a page where you order more publications from the company. No support or password information is offered at all.

I ordered book on 8/23/07. was charged 29.90 on M/C. Returned the b ook, priority mail with return receipt requested and they promised to refund cost of book, less shipping. The, on 9/26/07, they charged my credit card for another 29.90. The credit card company says they can't do anything to stop his charges, unless I give themn a cancellation number from the company, like that will happen. I don't understand why the credit card company can't just block charges from this guy. They said even if I cancell this credit card and get a new account number, this would be treated as a legitimate charage and would come out of my new account. I am a wreck over this, but I have contacted IL Lt. governors office, the chicago BBB, the FTC and have a call in to the local FBI. Hopefully, this will aid in getting these crooks out of my credit card.

My mother-in-law is one of those people who love to read the homeopathic/natural cures type books. She ordered this book and the weight loss book at the same time. This book tells you "to treat diabetes, cut out sugar". Well, duh. Diet and exercise. I can hear that from a doctor. His weight loss book is even worse. Multiple times in his books he advocates his website. So I log on to the website and he wants me to pay another $50 to browse it. No thanks. This guy's books aren't worth the price of the toilet paper they have become. :)

I ordered the 3 books offered from this infomercial. It's been a month, I never rec'd anything, and I don't want them anymore. I called to cancel a number of times. I was on hold 30 minutes or more each time, cut off, and told they were sending the books anyway and I would have to pay postage non-refundable!!! I am disputing these charges on my credit card!I canceled newsletter as well, there better not be any charges for any of that on my card either. I tried canceling everything, but these people are money hungry and are looking to make a buck any way they can!!There's no customer support! That's BS!

i bought naturl cures and the weitht lose cure, both have nothing usable in them, the weight loss cure, he refers to, is not legal in the united states, you cant even buy it , also, when i ordered the weight loss cure, they offered me the 2 other books free, just pay postage, i turned the offer down, but was charged for the books any way, and did not recieve them, i am in contact with my credit card company about this

I ordered (1) Natural Cures book and was told by the customer service rep, when I asked for my total she said that I would be billed $9.95, just shipping and handling, because the book is "free" you know. So I receive my bank statement and guess what? I was billed $19.90. I did not pay for express shipping either, I got my book 4 weeks after placing the order. I'm assuming I paid for a "free" newsletter as well. Anyway, I called customer service and said that they would cancel the newsletter and I will not be billed. Well, that was over a month ago. I received another newsletter today. I guess the best thing to do is cancel my debit card. This is just crazy. Is this not stealing? FOLLOW-UP: It's me again. I just forgot to mention the worst part of this mess. I tried contacting all the numbers in the books and none of them are active. Is this not fraud? Cancel your debit cards now!

I ordered the book for $9.95, and was charged AGAIN this month. When I called the #, it says they are changing phone systems! I am going to the Bank today, to cancel my Credit Card, and I would suggest others do that also, or they will continue to be charged each month, according to what I am reading on this site. Mr. Trudeau should be arrested and jailed for this SCAM. I haven't even opened the book yet, and after reading these stories, I can see it would NOT be worth my time.

10/2/2007 - Jill writes:
I ordered the book, declined the newsletter, was charged for the book but after one month I have not received anything. I am unable to reach anyone at the number given which was 800-327-2768 which they are claiming is being revamped and to use an alternate contact means which they never provided.
