About a year ago I too bought Trudeaus' book and was over charged for items I was told were free. I had the charges removed from my bill, may have changed my card number, I do not remember. Sooooooo now nearly a year later , much to my surprise, a new billing has appeared on my credit card bill for the same amount from the same company and I have ordered nothing!I have not called or communicated with these scoundrels. So why the charge? I think they are crooks.

In February 2007, I watched Natural Cures Infomercial and ordered the book. I called appx two weeks later to cancel the newsletter and was assured no charges would be made. When I received my credit card statement in March, there was a $5.95 charge. Today I received my statement for April and there are two more $5.95 charges, one dated March 30 and one dated April 18. My credit card bill list the phone number for the billing company. GUESS WHAT---THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS, none of which has a person at the other end. Can you stop this????

I like most ordered the FREE booklets for the shipping fee of $19.90. I refused to buy additional products like most and a few months later I start getting billed $5.95 on 4/1/07 and again 4/18/07! That is not even a monthly fee! They are ripping people off and I will call my bank and dispute the fees if possible. DON'T BUY FROM HIM!!!

I have all of Kevin's books and thought that he may have had a valid point with a lot of things he stated in his first two books. Now, after reading all the negative reviews about his company and how we are all being charged for a subscription that we did not agree to, I am starting to believe that he is part of the "they" in his titles. He obviously knows how vulnerable AND gullable "we the public" are and he has taken advantage of us as well. The weight loss cure protocol is a JOKE! I am very upset that he does not mention how difficult it is to get the hCG which is an important part of the protocol. Being a pharmacist, I cannot figure out how I would go to a physician and convince them to prescribe this to me even though he tells us to take the book to the doctor. He also fails to tell us how expensive the protocol is! I priced hCG and it was close to $400 for a vial. His website has a # that you can call to order through their doctor, but the lab work they require costs around $400 not including the hCG! Just because he has millions and can travel outside the U.S. to get hCG doesn't mean the rest of us have that luxury. I wish he could have been honest from the beginning to let us all know how difficult it would be to follow this protocol.

Add me to the thousands who got scammed by Kevin Trudeau, I too bought the book " Natural cures " they" dont want you to know about" I paid $30.00 for the book when it first came out, now you can find it in the dollar store, when i received the book and read it I was ENRAGED to say the least, I'm a medical assistant and i was insulted by the crap I was reading I wanted to have Mr. Trudeau in front of me to shovel this " book" down his throat !!! I tried returning the book with no luck, I finally put it out with the trash, where it belonged, afterwards I did some internet research on Kevin the crook and guess what? he's been in trouble with the law for years and years, even went to jail for fraud!! oh geeez, what a surprise!!! from now on, I make a point of never watching or buying things from infomercials.

My mother has ordered both of the books that Kevin Trudeau offers. The first, which this listing is specifically about, was the same "only shipping" deal as others have reported. The charge was 15 dollars(14.95 or something of that nature) is obviously far more than it would actually cost to ship the book. The catch is that it's shipping and "handling." Even though this leaves room for extra charges, it's basically a scam in and of itself since he's getting enough to make some money off of each book that is ordered. Anyway, first book arrived slowly, but surely and luckily my mom escaped the mystery charges that you all have talked about. The book itself though is a waste of time since almost no real information or advice is presented. As he says, it's his "opinion" as a "researcher." He seems to be a pretty poor excuse for a researcher though since he doesn't give you any real research or information on the topics he discusses, and barely names the supposed multitude of doctors that back him up(I'd love to see someone research the claim he's made such as overseas universities covering up cures for cancer and diabetes look into the credentials of the doctors he references) and the majority of the book consists of conspiracy rantings. Given, some of his claims may be true, and I believe some of it, but I could've gone to an online forum to hear ranting. Overall his claims are misleading, even if he does give disclaimers constantly. What worries me even more is that he recommends dianetics/scientology for anxiety relief. If Kevin isn't a scientologist, which I'm starting to suspect(because of his rantings and claims of vitamins and toxic{thetans?} cleansing being able to cure anything, sounds oddly like similar rantings from tom cruise), it's highly irresponsible to recommend a religious writing to someone as a "self help book." Can you imagine a psychiatrist giving a patient a bible and recommending they read it to get better?(even if it might help, that's beside the point) The second book we received was basically more ranting with a bit more information than the previous book, but still largely useless with the power of the internet at most people's fingertips. Both times my mom managed to avoid any mystery charges but the second book didn't arrive, and it took numerous phone calls to get it. I think it was well over 6 months before we received the book after billing. That isn't acceptable by any standard of business conduct. Another thing I should mention is that the books constantly refer you to his website for more information, which I wouldn't pay for since it's more than likely the same rantings and lack of real information, but I can't say for sure since I haven't seen it. The news letters on the other hand I have seen since the first book came with some of them as samples, and basically they're as useless as the books, and not even near worth the 9.95 per month other people say they've been charged for em. Overall the "product" if you can call it that is a rip and his claims of being a researcher are ludicrous since he gives no real information, but rather makes wild claims with no proof to back it up.

5.95 charges twice a month since I bought these books. I joined nothing stating there would be a club or monthly charges. The only way I can stop these charges is to get a new debit card with new numbers.

I'm sorry to say, but I was also scammed. I ordered a Natural Cures book late 06, and I'm still being charged $9.95. I agreed over the phone to receive 2 books for the price of one, at about $20 incl. shipping. Strangely, the first charge was for $9.95. Then, a second charge ($9.95)appeared a couple months later, then a third charge ($9.95)appeared this month - 2 months later. I called American Express to dispute it. The Amex customer service guy looked it up and said that I'm on a Natural Cures re-occuring charge for some book club? I NEVER agreed to any book club, nor did I ever receive anything other than the 2 books I ordered - I guess that's a blessing. This wonderful Amex customer service guy said Amex will do an investigation on it and notify me in about 30 days. Amex also deducted the charges from my account at that moment. All I can say is, "Way to go American Express!". I hope you other scamees will have some resolution to your Natural Cures fiasco. Best of luck.

There is not way to contact this organization once you have purchased something from them. I ordered a book from the organization. When the book arrived a long time after the order and the debit from my checking account and I opened up the box containing the book. I was at that time upon reading the contents of the box notified that my 30 day free trial of whatever had begun the day of the order. As a consequence I was about to be billed for additional charges. I tried several times to contact the company buyt to no avail. When i finally contacted someone at the ordering number [800.240.3417] they gave me the following website which is actuall an e-mail addresss: customer support@itvdirect.com
Almost word for word with the other complaints about Natural Cures Newsletter. I did not want it to start with -- was told I could cancel, but after 3 months of trying by phone and email [4 different emails] at different times to cancel this I finally gave up and called my credit card and they said they would remove the charges. This company is impossable to contact to cancel. They will probably try to continue to charge me every month. The information they are selling in the book and newsletter is nothing new and you can find it anywhere on line for free. Book, newsletter, the whole experience is a total scam. I got taken on this one, and I must say I order on line all the time and this is the first time I have had a problem with a company that you cannot even contact.

I saw the second Book, More Natural cures on an infomercial, and since I suffer several chronic illnesses, I became interested. I ordered the book, which I was supposed to get for just the shipping costs, and gave my credit card information. The operator did their job and tried to sell me alot of other things, but I was VERY clear with her that I didn't want anything except the book. I should have cancelled right when they started hard selling. But I hang up without ordering anything else and thought I had gotten off with just the book. However, every month since then, my account has been billed $9.95 and I've received a five page computer generated "newsletter." I can't get it stopped, and I'm probably going to have to cancel my cr. card to stop it. What I want to know is, when do we start a class action suit, and where do I sign up for that, and will I be debited for it every month? Because I'd rather be paying money to a lawyer to stop this garbage than to deal with these people.

Please can someone investigate and get this guy in jail where he belongs?. He is defrauding sick people, and inflating the charges on the credit card bills via ITV company SHAME ON YOU "Kevin Trudeau Natural cures" infomercial: so-called 'free' book, pay $9. 90 shipping. (NINE dollars ninety) My credit card has been overcharged. that is, $19. 90 NINETEEN dollars ninety. I had the same run around as others trying the 'customer service numbers'. I note from subsequent research that this is a common con-trick and scam with this book, and using the ITV order service. I have reported this to the FTC, and am filing complaints with BBB and any other consumer organizations, and will post as many online warnings as possible. With so many thousands of complaints already circulating, no doubt this scam will eventually be busted. Since giving my number for the order, I note a MASSIVE increase in repeated telemarketing calls (tho we are on the do not call list) I believe they are related to this scammer who has likely sold the numbers on. We have now cancelled our credit card to avoid further fraudulent charges experienced by others who posted warnings.

Well, I bought his first book in the store. thats the ONLY way to get his stuff. i was stupid and tried ordering his second book from the TV. well, i got the book late, BUT, it gets better. now, i get calls every day from people giving away free gas for only 1 dollar, then after 30 days, its 20 bucks a month. i have also been charged about 30 dollars from vitamin companies for vitamin trials i obviously never ordered. ITV sells your info, and you can really get screwed out of money. i had to change my banking info just to get these vitamin and other scam companies to stop charging me. never order his stuff off line, or from TV. THERE IS ALWAYS SMALL PRINT THAT WILL CHARGE YOU MONEY! if you want his book, buy it in the store. also, the money thats charged on your credit card, on your statement, the phone numbers they give are WRONG and send you to vitamin companies. so, its a wild goose chase to get your money back.

I haven't been as scammed as many others have been solely because I only purchased the two books. I haven't been to a website yet to register for anything else. I did receive the books but only with an extra tax bill at the Post Office. I paid about $30.00 for the two books but on the customs form they put the value as being $80.00. So I got ripped and had tp pay tax on $80 instead of $30. I made a call to the customer service line and she told me that was their policy. HOW RIDICULOUS! Thats like me going to the store and buying a pair of jeans on sale for $20 but then getting to the till and the cashier says,"Well since they are worth $60 then you have to pay tax on $60. I am learning now that before you buy anything on TV as I almost did this morning (Dual Action Cleanse) Check this website! What a mistake I would have made. Bottom line - Don't do the auto-billing to the credit card. Thanks to all you who took the time to register a complaint!

I too have been scammed by these people. My mom is who turned me onto Kevin's books over a year ago. I finally saw an infomercial with Kevin saying to order his book for $29.95 plus s&h and get his other two books for free just pay s&h. I called and ordered in the beginning of march. They kept trying to gt me to sign up for his newsletter and website for free with the option to cancel. I am a sucker for things like this because I always was able to cancel. They offered me free gift cards for trying them. I recieved my books and newsletter and a paper telling me how to get online about 2 weeks later. My mom was able to sign in with the login provided twice. She couldn't find anything useful on it. It was activated on March 13. I went to sign in later that day and couldn't sign in ever since. I have sent three e-mails to them with no response. I tried finding a number to cancel with no prevail. I also since ordering have been recieving calls from soliciters, on my cell phone, since ordering. These people know me by my first name and the last 4 digits of my card number. I have been checking my bank account and have been getting charged for things I know nothing about. I also got charged for a newsletter when my 30 days is not even expired yet. I also never recieved my packages with my free gift cards either. That's when I called my husband and he referred me to google this site. I can see by all these complaints of similar problems I am gonna have to report fraud on these people. I have no time, much less patience, to deal with this. I am going to cancel my card and close my account. Someone needs to seriously report these people and file a lawsuit against them now.
