I ordered Kevin Trudeau's two natural cures books. I paid for express shipping because I didn't want to wait 6-8 weeks. The books were "free" but the shipping was $28.95. Shortly after ordering them I looked up the history on Kevin Trudeau and decided it wasn't worth the money and tried to cancel the order. I could never get a live body on the phone or anyone to reply to my emails. The books didn't come within the "express shipping" time frame so I thought they had cancelled the shipment. I was expecting some other books by mail so when I got a package I opened it. It was the Kevin Trudeau books! After several weeks of more calls and emails I have finally gotten through to a live person on the phone. I was told that I couldn't get any refund because I didn't "pay" for the books, just the shipping and the shipping is non-refundable. So, I wasted $28.95 for nothing. What a scam! Plus, when I ordered the books I fell for their "free" magazine trial offers. Ugh, it took me over 30 min. on the phone with an automated voice to get them cancelled before I got any charges for them. Who knows, maybe I'll still get charges on my bank account. I'll have to keep combing through my bank statements for questionable charges. What a hassle. To anyone reading this...It's truly not worth it! If you're interested in these books, etc., please do your research on line first. There's plenty of free information out there on herbal remedies for just about anything that ails you. Don't fall for the hype, please! I definitely regret ever doing it!

I say they are the liars.Who ever starts a lawsuit against this man I am all for it to take back what he took from us. This is unfair and unjust and I want my money back. I saw the informercial early in the morning and it caught my attention. I have always been one to struggle with weight issues. The book Weight Loss "Cures", what they don't want you to know" sounded like something that might have some insight. The first representative was only doing his job, spoke broken English and initially included the newsletter with his opening line. He obviously had script in front of him that he was directed to read. I only wanted the one book. As our conversation continued, of course this was after I had already given him my credit card information, he continued to offer me book after book after book at ridiculous prices. I finally said to him that I was only interested in the ONE book I called for and all he kept saying was "I understand that Ma'am", then would offer something else. I finally became very frustrated and indicated that I wanted my order cancelled. At that point he became a bit nervous and continued to talk about products. Unfortuantely, I hung up on him because he wasn't listening to my request to cancel. I immedietly called back and got a different representative and told her that I was interested in cancelling an order I just placed and she explained that she was NOT able to do that. I asked to speak to her supervisor, Robbi, and he told me the same thing. He told me I had to call the 800-240-3417, which I had already done, twice and and it told me the hold time was 20 minutes, and the next sentence was "our office is opened from 8-5:30." Then hangs up. I told the "supervisor" what it said and that I felt the number was a fake number given out to potential scam artists' victims. I requested his manager's name and he refused to give it to me. I repeatedly asked for a first name of his manager and again was denied a name. He insisted I had to call this number to cancel my order. I work for a financial institution that I happen to have my credit card through, so hopefully I will be able to block these charges before this company can pull any money from it. I wish I would have checked this company out before I called. This has taught me a very valuable lesson to never fall for something that sounds too good to be true!!!! I realize the representatives are only doing their jobs, but I also believe they know what they are doing and it's just wrong to do this people. Some day they will have to answer for their wrong doings. May the good Lord be with them on judgment day.

In 2005 I ordered the snailmail version of newsletters. I cancelled and received refund shortly thereafter. I then ordered the online, but did not feel that it was helpful because it was still under construction. I also cancelled that and the charges were no longer taken from my account October 2006 - $71.40 was charged to my account for the snailmail subscription that I had cancelled a year earlier. Sent an email to Natural Cures right away and they sent me a tracking number with the assurance that I would receive a refund within 30 to 60 days. I did not notice the number on my checking account statement. I waited the 60 days which was the wrong thing to do because I could no longer file and unauthorized charge on my account. Wrote to the email addressed provided and of course did not receive any answers. January 2006 talked to a representative and was told the refund was authorized but not done at this time. Two weeks later - Talked to a representative and again told the return was authorized. When I asked more questions I was hung up on and sent to the voice mail. At that point I left a message and sent emails to all three email addresses provided. Of course no answers were forthcoming from any of the sources. On February 14 I again called and talked to a representative. I was informed that they were waiting for Shop America to authorize the refund. I have gone to Shop America and left a message, but don't know if I have reached the right party. Besides Shop America and ITV are the same. I will call again.

We ordered the natural cures books when they were running a supposed special on tv where you get the books free and you just pay shipping. You also had to take a monthly newsletter that you could cancel at any time. Well.... That's just not true. I tried to e-mail and still got billed on my credit card every month. I tried to call. No Luck!!! Finally I contacted my credit card company and they just so happen to have these people on file which meant they had had ALOT of complaints against these people of the same kind. I would never do this again. Good luck if you do decide to do this.

I ordered the books online in January and never recieved an email confirmation for my order. A couple of days later my credit card was charged, but still no books. I called the number listed on my statement and get a phone message to leave your name and number and they will get back to you but never do. I tried getting in touch with them via email, but the whole things seems like a scam, they didn't have my name or order according to the person i was communicating via email, yet somehow they had my info to charge me. I'm disputing the charge now and am filing with the better business bureau.

I saw this infomercial very early one morning. I am sick and I really hate having to take medication so, the Natural Cure books really appealed to me. I thought about going out and buying the books from the store but ITV was offering two books for free, shipping only. Being a natural skeptic, I should have known it was too good to be true but I was tired and feeling sick so, I called the number and placed my order. Right away the order taker tried signing me up for all kinds of stuff, I said no to everything and started to get annoyed so I said, ya know what, let's just cancel the order. The order taker panicked and said we were done, etc.... I was offered 3-5 days shipping for $9.99 and I took it because I wanted the books right away. It took three weeks for me to receive the books and I called ITV to complain and they said they would credit me for the shipping. Well, it has been a month and I never received the credit. I also have tried to cancel the newsletter but I can never get through to anyone. I am in the process of canceling my credit card to prevent any other charges. The books are crap. If you want to read about conspiracies, it's the book for you but there are no natural cures. There are a lot of references to websites that you can visit to do more research about some cures but that's about it. The book is just a scam to get you on KeviN Trudeau's website. The only real cure he mentions is Apples Cider Vinegar which can be found at any natural remedy website and doesn't always work. I have found more natural cures on my own than by this book. It's just a huge scam and I am upset because this man preys on sick people. When you have a chronic illness like I do, you are desperate for any relief and that is what this guy depends on. Also, ITV has sold my name, phone number and e-mail to other companies. I have been getting a lot of soliciting phone calls and had to put my phone number on a do not call list. Also, my e-mail has been FLOODED w/ offers and scams and these people keep using my e-mail address to sign up for other e-mail addresses and I keep getting contacted by AOL and Yahoo asking me if I tried to sign up for a new account. I never had a problem w/ telemarketers or spam before. This guy is a scam artist and should be in jail. He should never be allowed to sell anything to the public ever again.

The books are not what I expected - in fact they're pretty worthless in information value - and I've been attempting to call the number listed on their "Return Policy" sheet delivered with the books to ask for a Return Authorization number (within the 30 day period) and have been unable to reach anyone by phone. I also cannot connect via the email address listed on the sheet or the one on the recorded message when I attempt to call (which is different from the one on the printed sheet). I may be stuck with these useless books and only wish I had googled "Kevin Trudeau" before ordering. After reading several of the other responses, I'm now very concerned that more charges are going to show up on my credit card. I'm alerting my bank and hope that may do some good. This will definitely be the last time I order from an infomercial - I guess I should have known better! Is this a form of legalized robbery or what?!!

I ordered two books and books on tape and received the Weight cd also. I saw that I did not agree with Kevin about health issues and called and got permission to returns the books and cd's. On a email on Mar 6, 06 they acknowledged they had received the shipment. It was about then that none of their telephone numbers worked. On 6/26/06 I received another email stating I would receive 64.90 credit by Violeta, an employee. I explained that I had had to close out my credit card company and they would need to issue a check to me or I could give them another credit card. After that I never could reach anyone personally or by phone or email.

The newsletter is not what was promised. I've tried to cancel the newsletter, writting letters to cancel the newsletter, returning the newsletter marked "dead" on it. I still received the newsletter even after they thought I was dead. I've sent emails. I tried the FAX number, but it doesn't work either. A friend found this website, and I've taken Brian's advice. I've cancelled my credit card. That seems a bit extreme, but I don't want these people to get more of my money. By the way, the book was a joke. I've known about natural cures for years. There was nothing new in that silly book.

Yesterday I received my bank statement to find out that Natural Cures had taken two 9.95 fees from my account in the month of January on two different dates for books I had already paid for. The first amount was taken out in Nov. 2006, and here we are 3 months later with another fee. The bank says we can only try to get satisfaction from Natural Cures, or write a letter of dispute and send it to the credit card company. I have had no success trying to contact anyone there, and have left messages all over!! Why is this guy still in business? I will be happy if I can just avoid any further charges. If a lot of us feel this way, and you multiply the bogus charges that people will never get back, the guy will advance to be one of the richest men in the world. The books are worthless...no index, no real help. He mostly just complains about the medical community and the money they are making. He should talk!! I will use the books for doorstops.

This book is a joke! I ordered it thinking I was receiving nature cures. There is nothing in this book but a lot of nothing. No nature cures at all. I am a nurse and I know this book could be very dangerous to people that may not understand about medicine. This book tells you to never take antibiotics for no reason unless you are a few days from death.I'm sorry but who in the world would tell people such foolishness. I think he is a joke.He needs to be banned from publishing anything else.

Attention anyone trying to get any type of refund. I have been trying to get a refund for a year. I have called this company as many as 20 times a day & I understand that not everyone has that kind of time but so far I have received $11.90 of my $99.88 back. Call 1-800-215-0063 when you are prompted use ext. 2516 this is to Kathy. She is in charge of customer service. Leave her a message with why your calling, who you are and a phone # for her to call you back on. Keep calling until someone returns your calls. I even told her that I would not stop calling until someone returned my money. They refunded the rest of my money today...if it doesn't show up on my acct. I will be back here to let all of you know. By the way I never got my book & got a couple newsletters that I didn't want but they never failed to charge me.

I like so many others, sent off for the Natural Cures Book that is advertised on TV. After receiving the book and free newsletter, I eagerly started to read this book, which offers no real information or otherwise. All it offers are pages and pages about government conspiracy and what "they don't want you to know". I believe it's called the old "Bait and Switch" scam. You have to futher invest for any so called real answers. Unfortunately, I cannot entirly let them take all the blame, I just didn't follow up on this situation, that is untill I found a $72.00 charge on my credit card. That's how I found this web site. I did contact ITV Direct, the charge is for future newsletters. They agreed to remove the charge off my credit card, so we will see just how it really goes. For whatever trouble it may end up being, I am willing to cancel my credit card. But I will keep you all informed as to how this situaton plays out.

I was curious why I hadn't received my books. Well, I found this website. I know why now. I just called my credit card company. I have been charged for 3 books. I even told them I wanted the books delivered 3 to 5 days. I have not gotten them. So, my credit card company is going to try and resolve this...........although, it could go on for months from my understanding. Now, I wish I had bought the stupid book at []........I wouldn't have to worry about this situation.

Kevin Trudeau implies on his infomercials that his Natural Cures books include all the info. he discusses and promises. They don't. You have to pay for a website membership to get all the info. he discusses and makes you think is in his book. Also, a customer is not allowed to cancel an order even minutes after it's been placed over the phone. You have to accept the delivery and return it and lose the S&H. There is no mention of this policy on the phone when ordering, or on TV or in fine print anywhere. A person should be able to cancel any order shortly after it's been placed by phone with a full refund or alerted to this unethical policy. Kevin Trudeau's company needs to correct their customer information regarding the number of days it takes for "rush" delivery for an extra/optional charge of $9.95. The ordering dept. quotes 3-5 business days. Customer service dept. quotes 5-7 business days. There is a very long wait by phone to speak to customer service. I assume it's because there are an infinite number of returns, unhappy callers and misunderstandings because of their "shady" and dishonest wording selling and returning their product. Companies with integrity and legitimate quality products don't have to resort to trickery and loop holes and "an absolutely no cancellation" unmentioned process. Tracy
