I odered the Natural Cures Revealed. Since that time, I've been getting charged $9.95 for an email. I tried several times to find out how to cancel and to tell them I was totally unaware of ordering anything other than the book. Finally after reading your site, I got the number 800-240-3417. I don't have my account number because I didn't know I had an account. Finally, I went to [] and sent an email. I am now waiting for a reply. Otherwise, I will now have to cancel my credit card account. DON'T ORDER HIS BOOKS...IT'S A SCAM

Kevin Trudeau's company Natural Cures is a major "SLAM" company! One of the worst!!! I ordered books and next thing I know, my card is charged 9.95 monthly. My bad that I didn't catch this sooner. I was charged 6 months. I caught this months back and tried to contact the Natural Cures. Interesting enough, there is no customer service phone number, just email for customer support and <a href="mailto:billing@naturalcures.com">billing@naturalcures.com</a>. I sent an email months back to cancel and for refund. They did neither. In fact I received no reply at all, just additional billings. I finally got in touch with someone @ [] (800.877.1203 X 3961. It was explained that I received the info for on-line newsletter with the book order. I did not. I am careful about this sort of thing. There was no login info to any on-line account. Therefore, I had never logged on to the offending website! It's hard to cancel something when one has no account ID to do so. Remember back in the day, when you'd go to your local restaurant fill-out a drawing card and drop the card in the box for a chance at winning a vacation or meal or something else enticing? Then you realize your phone service or something else was change without your knowledge? All because you ignored the fine print and didn't "check the box to not accept" what ever was going to happen. That practice was know as "slamming". Kevin Trudeau does the same thing. This is becoming more and common and more sophisticated. Slamming scams should be outlawed period. I am guilty for not catching this sooner. But know one should be slammed this way. The company and its representatives are crooked. If the representatives are just following a script, then more shame on the company management and Mr Kevin. FTC step on the clown a couple of years ago and they should step in again. The best to do is NOT ORDER BOOKS or anything else from this deceptive organization! Buyer beware!!!

Well let's see. I do have a story to tell about this conniving scam artist. But nothing you probably haven't already heard, so I won't bore you with that. What I wanted to do is provide everyone out there with the following Customer Service number (1-800-240-3417), which by the way took me forvever and a day to find, so you can contact this low life's representatives about cancelling his stupid newsletter, and his dumb-ass book and whatever else of his may be causing you grief. The bottom line folks, is that we've all been had by this scumbag, Kevin Trudeau. He a lying thief that is taking advantage of good, honest, hard-working American people. Let's be honest, Trudeau is nothing but a common "thug", no better than a gangster like Al Capone. He will, God willing, get what's coming to him, just like Capone did.. Anyway folks, now that all that is off my chest I feel a little better. LOL!! Hope the telephone number helps. Charlie

I finally stayed on hold long enough with their customer service dept. to where I finally got a hold of someone and told them to cancel the monthly subscription charges. So far I haven't seen any charges for Jan. so I think I got them stopped. I also filed complaints with my credit card company for all the previous charges and they reversed them. But, you have to file a complaint for each charge separately which is a pain. The BBB has no legal authority to do anything, so it's pretty much a waste of time to go that route.

Kevin Trudeau is one of the greatest scam artists in American history. His book Natural Cures preys on those Americans who have become increasingly disillusioned with our healthcare system. You purchase the book only to find out that if you really want the "secret" to living healthy you have to sign up for his website. <br />
Truth be told, Kevin Trudeau has NO formal medical training or experience. His book is based on speculation, conjecture, and the experience of other people. Trudeau says he doesn't believe in studies and those studies he does approve of cannot be found ANYWHERE. Kevin Trudeau has made his entire life living on the ignorance of others; touting everything from magical bracelets to special potions. If you do nothing else, please do not buy anything that Kevin Trudeau is selling. Don't believe me. Then read the other 500 or more testimonies from people who were suckered into buying his product. Did i mention that he has been prosecuted by the government over and over for misleading the American public concerning his products. Bottom line, Kevin Trudeau is the worst kind of scam artist because he knows that what he is selling is anything but the truth.

I ordered the two books from Kevin and then tried to cancel the trial website and newsletter membership. They did not cancel it...even though I did talk to someone. They still charged my card. I will have no choice but to stop this card and get another number. I wish I had never saw his face. He is a FRAUD!

I purchased the Kevin Trudeau Natural Cures books several months ago (not overly impressed) and being a subscriber to a few reputable newsletters, didn't notice the billing for NATRL CURES 800-237-1957. Never did receive a newletter from them. When I finally did notice it, called the 800 number several times but always kept on hold. I called my credit card and was told that I couldn't cancel the card because NATRL CURES would continue to autobill and that would reopen the credit card that I just closed. what a freaking nightmare! So I'm going to file dispute forms at the suggestion of my credit card customer service. I wish I was the type that held on to all paperwork, I realllly want this scumbag Kevin Trudeau to be stopped from scamming people. I learned the hard way to be less trusting... <br />
:( and if filing a dispute doesn't stop Mr.Trudeau from continuing to steal my hard earned money, I'll try the better business bureau. Too bad the high schools and colleges don't teach courses on detecting consumer fraud.

I purchased Kevin Trudeas book, Natural Cures because I saw the infomercial, and was possibly hoping for a cure. My father passed away a month ago from Polycystic Kidney Disease, and I was diagnosed with the same disease 2 months ago and my 14 year old son a month ago. What I see is that this author is insulting our intelligence by stating the same thing over and over in 567 pages, I could not get past page 20, it was too much to take.I am sad for all of us that were taken in by his false claims. It's not our fault, We only wanted a miracle.

I ordered the weightloss cures book. It came as promised but it was seriously different from what he said on tv. No normal person can afford it. He never said that part. You would have to have a personal trainer and a dietician on your payroll to do what he suggests. Now I keep getting a charge for newsletters on my credit card. When I ordered the book I said no to all the offers that were given. Now I can't get the charges to stop. Kevin is a scam artist and nothing more

I have Lupus & Fibromyalgia and have gained a lot of weight due to the medications. I seen this on T.V. thought it sounded Great, if I could lose some weight naturally and it not inter-fear with my medications. I would have to give it a try. Anything would be better than taking more pills. I ordered the weight loss book and my step-mother ordered the other 2 cure books for myself and my step-sister whom also suffers from fibromyalgia. ALL OF THE BOOKS are a load of crap. If you were to order and take all the natural things and do all the stuff they suggest you would be broke and sicker due to all the money you had spent to get NOTHING! These are the types of things that make people not read or order things from T.V. or the Internet that could be of help to them. This should be illegal and is immoral. I guess that is freedom of speech, but no where does it say freedom to rip poor, sick, and people seeking help off of what I know to be money that I really didn't have to spend. Why is it that they say you can try it for free for so many days but they want their money now. But when you want your money back you have to jump through hoops and you may or may not get a refund? I have not gotten my refund! DO NOT ORDER ANY THING FROM KEVIN TRUDEAU! He has a new scam book about curing debt. Don't get sucked in and report him to the Attorney Generals office. Let's stop him before he can get rich off of people like you and me!http://www.infomercialscams.com/scams/natural_cures

I also got scammed. I ordered the book from TV. I thought it would be good, maybe helpful. It was not. I told the lady on the phone that I didn't want any additional perks, no 9.95 website, magazines or anything else. I also used a credit card that I closed the next day (thought I was smart). Anyway, 2 months went passed with no bills, then a charge appeared on a different card. They back- charged everything and continue to charge to this day. The CC company has several blocks and actions against them. However, as soon as they block it, this company changes the name and re-bills. I am ready to close this account and hope that is the end of it. Otherwise, I will be talking to my attorney on this.

I also purchased the Natural Cures book. Absolutely said no to all the other offers and still was charged for some newsletters that I never received. When I called the toll free# from the packaging, the message said that there was an emergency and to contact my person via their cell phone!!!I had to dig up my bank statement and get that original number. Of course, there are no options for what I wanted, so I had to talk to someone who wanted to sell me another one. I asked why I was charged for these newsletters and he told me it was part of the deal, I had declined I told him, he said, that wasn't an option. I said, where were these newsletters? He said, it was electronic, I was sent a password to get into them. Of course no money was refunded, he stopped the newsletter as of that day. Like others stated, the book was a bunch of bunk about how everyone wants him to shut up and then you are to pay extra to go to his website and get the info you thought you were getting in the book. But I was foolish enough to buy 2 books and the CD's. I also bought the Weight Loss Book, another load of crap. Save your money, google online, this guy is now selling a book about the secret to financial success "They" don't want you to know about. We know his secret, it's selling books that are a scam and keeping money. How is he still operating? I am going to contact the Attorney General. Just complaining about him is not going to get my money back or at least stop him in the future.

I too ordered the two "free" books (pay only the shipping) September 2007. I found more of referencing where to find cures than stating them in the books. I could have found all that on the internet myself. Anyway, took 10 weeks to get the books. Was charged first week of ordering the book and was charged for the newsletter within that month (and did not recieve until a month later). I tried to cancel the newsletter as everyone else has tried to do and everywhere I turned was a deadend. I then recieved some bogus letter in the mail about becoming part of some elite group that Kevin T. was backing. That's where I became suspicious and started my search on the web regarding this Kevin T. fellow and found complaint after complaint about his book and charges for a newsletter that couldn't be stopped. I then went to my credit card carrier and explained the fraud going on here and changed/canceled my card. I got rid of that pest in my life. He's got to be stopped by for this FRAUDULENT way of making a living. And if you want the real truth about healthly living and herbal health check out the website "KNOW THE CAUSE". How does this guy sleep. I ordered the "Weight loss cure" in a weak moment in the middle of the night. The book it's self has nothing new to offer. It's the $9.95 I'm being charged every month for the free news letter that has me so angry . I have not tried to get a refund yet, but after reading your letters here I don't feel very hopeful. Kevin T. is nothing but a snake oil salesman, and should be stopped. I don't understand the human race. R.

My letter to Natural Cures tells my story: Last fall we ordered a couple of books by phone. The total was over $20. I specifically told the sales person we DID NOT want any other material—no additional books, no newsletters, no “free” anything. Just the two books. The charge for our books appeared on our credit card statement—which we paid. The next month, a $9.95 charge appeared on the statement for your newsletter—which we had NOT RECEIVED. I called our credit card company and they graciously reversed the charges. I had hoped that was the end of it. But, no, the next month Natural Cures again billed our card $9.95. Again, we had not received a newsletter and did not want to receive one. I again had the credit card company reverse the charge. After this happened a third time, I called our credit card company and asked what we could do to get you to STOP BILLING us for something we did not order, did not get and did not want. They said they were powerless. The only solution was to cancel our card. That is exactly what I did. From the first day, I tried repeatedly to contact you by phone to tell you we did not want the newsletter and to STOP BILLING our credit card $9.95 every month. Of course, I could never get through to anyone at Natural Cures. I suppose one of the reasons you can advertise for people to make “HUGE MONEY” is because you don’t care what they say, you just start billing their credit card $9.95 every month whether or not they even receive your phony “newsletter.” Just yesterday, January 14, 2008, we received in the mail your Volume 34, September 2007 Newsletter. DO NOT SEND any more material to us—newsletters, advertisements, or anything else. We never want to hear from you again. Hopefully I have made that clear. You can be sure we will NEVER order anything else from Natural Cures. You should be ASHAMED of yourselves.

I feel for each and every one of you for I too was scamed by Kevin. I order the book and returned it only never received my money back. I called and called the customer service number and after almost two frustrating months I notified the Better Business Bureau. I emailed the whole story and they fought for me and I received my money. My mom always told me that when ever a company could or would not work with you the BBB would go to bat for you and they did.
1/14/2008 - Errol writes:
I think the following accurately describe what I went through. It is nearly impossible to get them to stop billing the 9.95 a month. I sent multiple emails as the site has a cancellation email address. None was responded to. I sat on the phone for hours over many calls waiting for someone to answer the cancellation line. Funny thing is when I pressed the key to join the phone was picked up immediately. <br />
I was talking to a man called David who was rude, surely and did nothing but over talk and threaten me. If I did not listen I would never get a refund I was told. In the end I found Heather Hippsleys number on the FTC site. And she asked I email her information, proof of the emails, and that I was continously being billed. She explained the FTC was working with attorneys in Boston against the firm televising the infomercials. In three weeks I was fully refunded all of my amounts. I suggest that if people are having problems they follow what I did. Find Trudeau on the FTC site, there are 93 entries BTW and send Ms. Hipssley the info. They can get the refunds. The uncomfortable thing is that people that are willing to do what they do, have my financial info. I watch that account like a hawk. Good Luck.

I ordered the books with several 30 day free trial offers included. I was able to cancel every offer but this one...because they never sent the introduction/opt out form that usually comes before they bill you. The e-mail address is useless, the mailing address is useless.I didn't want to have my card number changed because of legitimate charges require too much paperwork t change and I have had insufficient funds resulting from these charges. I tried return to sender/cancel sending the newsletter back. The billing stopped for a month and then today,I got another newsletter.

I got the book, " Natural Cures That "They"don't want you to know About") by Kevin Trudeau, can't recall how. I tried an inquiry to their website, as I recall, and don't recall ordering anything, but I may have. I just realized that I am being billed on my credit card $9.95 each month for a news letter, Natural Cures, now for 5 months, Oct2007 through Jan2008. It shows on my acct as natural cures 800 237 1957 I have never received a single issue of any such newsletter. I have not ever had an opportunity to try the product I am reporting -never have seen it. Lew
