Natural Health Hoodia is a Reoccuring billing scam. Theift by credit card. Natural Health Hoodia offer a product on national TV but does so with a reoccuring bill scam to your credit card. In spite of the fact you inform the sales person who takes your telephone order you DO NOT want another order or to be re billed monthly. They do it anyway! They do so without notice. The company claims to legaly do so by hiding the fact in small print. Or in ticky wording by the sales person. A Scam is a Scam when the company bills your credit card without clear notice. An honest company would mail a letter asking if you liked the product and if want to reorder. Or a sales person would call asking if you liked the product and if want to reorder. Natural Health Hoodia is a Reoccuring billing scam. Theift by credit card.

When I first read about Natural Health Hoodia, the ad seemed so legit, I thought, why not? Two pills a day didn't work for me, so I took more, because I found that my appetite was not suppressed at all. I continued taking the product for about a week and nothing. In the ad they tell you that once you take the free trial, do nothing and they will send you more and bill you. That was my understanding. I called customer service and told them not to send me anymore, so I wont be billed. Turned out, the person told me that I will be billed $59.00 or something in that range because I didnt return the product. I told him that they did not make this clear. I thought you got the "free" product and if you didn't call, they would bill you! Turns out this trial was not free at all. The product didn't work and I am out $59.00 or so.

I signed up for the 2 week free trial and was to just pay shipping and handling. When I recieved the 2 week trial, I called and cancelled before the 2 week was up and nobody informed me of having to return the pills considering I had already took them. About three weeks later I was billed 59.90 for a 2 month supply. I never even recieved a 2 month supply. Do the math on a 2 week trial of pills and a 2 month supply. It doesn't add up. They are a scam. I am currently disputing this with my bank and hoodia somehow has won the first dispute but I am disputing it again. I will not stop until I get my money back. I will do whatever it takes.

I ordered this product on the free trial off of the website on November 23, 2007 because of the info commercial on tv. It never arrived. Yet, they charged my account. I made various attempts to contact them finally getting someone to reply by email saying they would look into cancelling the order. I never heard from them again. I contacted them again by email wanting a confirmation that they had credited my account for the total charged and that they had cancelled the order including any future orders as well. I didnt get an answer so I phoned their 800 number. The lady that answered said they had cancelled the order and didnt know why I never recieved the order that it simply looked like it had never shipped. This was on December 13. She wanted to know if I wanted to try again. I said absolutely not, I don't want to deal with a company that has so little regard for a customer that they cannot even verify with an email that an order has been placed even though it was requested and could not confirm an order number or a shipping date or that the order was cancelled or why the order was not completed to begin with. She said she was very sorry I was unhappy could she help me with anything else. I said, NO, just make sure you have cancelled that order and credited the amount back to my credit card. I want nothing else to do wtih this company.

I like everyone else tried this product on the 15 day trial period. Also it seems, like everyone else, this product did not work for me. My appetite was not suppressed at all. If anything, I was hungrier. As I did not pay anything but shipping for the product I did not think about returning the order. I also forgot that by ordering the 15 day trial period that I would be receiving an automatic shipment for a 3 month supply to be charged to my credit card. The shipment I received was delivered to my office. The order date on the invoice states June 4, 2007. The postage date is June 6, 2007. I do not remember when I received this product. The mail room at my office delivered it to me and I put it under my desk and forgot about it. I work in international arbitration at a large law firm and the days melt into each other. So, I forgot about this package that I received. I finally opened the package several days ago (July 25, 2007). I called customer service today as indicated on the invoice to get a return authorization number and to make sure the automatic shipment was cancelled. I spoke to Dinora in customer service. She informed me that cancelling the automatic shipment would not be a problem but the product could not be returned as there is only a 30 day guarantee on the product. No where on the invoice does it state that the product has to be returned within 30 days to receive a refund. When I told her this Dinora said she would get me a refund authorization number and put me on hold. When she returned to the line, she informed me that the 30 day return was stated on the website and she would not be issuing the refund authorization number and I would not be getting a refund. I asked Dinora, how can there be a 30 day guarantee on the product when I was sent a 90 day supply? She restated about the website. So, my question is if there is only a 30 day guarantee on the pills and I had actually taken the pills, does this mean that the 2nd and 3rd month pills would not work and it would be too bad, so sad because the guarantee was only for 30 days? I do not and would not recommend this product to anyone. I agree with the person that posted that this is a scam.

I have tried Natural Health Hoodia for about 30 days now and truly I have seen no real significant change in my appetite as they so state. I called to complain and they advised me to take 2 pills 1 hour before every meal. That comes to 4 bottles a month!!!! A whopping $129.00 a month. I don't think so... I have sent them a request via e-mail to discontinue my order. I won't even attempt to try and get my money back. But I will tell the bank to stop any request for payments from Natural Health Hoodia because if I don't I will get billed a few more times before they finally do it. Trust me every other company around does this scam to take another $59.90 for a couple of more months. Check out the website that classifies the best ones on the market. I need to find it again and I hope it's not backed or funded by the one they rate number 1. Julio

I order the Natural Health Hoodia with the toll free number 18668234567 and website []. As advertised, I was to be given a 15 day free trial and received 2 bottles (60 tablets) of hoodia on October 3, 2006. When the completion of the 15 day trial period came, I called to get an authorization number to return, (the paper work said you had to get an authorization number to return). The man I spoke with said 15 days was really not enough time for the hoodia to get into my system and said he was extending my free trial period to an additional 20 days and he wanted me to double the amount I was taking to 2 tablets 3 times daily. I specifically confirmed my addition trial period, and he agreed I would need to call to get a return authorization number by November 6th, 2006 if it did not work for me. The pills did nothing for me.... so on November 6th I called to get a return authorization number. The person from Natural Health gave me a return number. The following day I logged the return authorization number on the return and sent the empty bottles back to the company (I used all of the hoodia during my free trials and return the empty bottles because the paper works said "return the 2 bottles with no questions asked") I mailed the return through the US Postal service utilizing the Priority Mail service with a tracking/confirmation number. On November 8, 2006 (2 days after the cancelltion) the Natural Health Company charged my account 59.90. I called the company to inquire as to why they still charged my account even though I had a return authorization number. The girl automatically said I did not return them and even though the bottles were empty that I was still suppose to return the empty bottles. I told her I did return them and even had a confirmation number from the post office. I gave her the confirmation number and she than said I was suppose to have them returned by October 31st. I asked her to do the math of 15 day trial and a 20 day trial equals to 35 days which would put the trial period into November...not Oct.31st. She then said that they never give an additional 20 days it always an additional 15 days (well. an additional 15 days would have still been past October 31st). She was very rude and said she would have to speak to her supervisor. I was placed on hold for 40 minutes. When she returned to the call, she said it would have to be turn into the corporate office for a ruling since I did not compile with the October 31st deadline. These people at Natural Health Hoodia are liars and scam artists. Please do not let them get away with doing this. Please do not let this company scam you out of your money, especially since their hoodia does not work. AP
