In December 07 I ordered this product in hopes that it will improve my performance at the job. I am currently a Drill at Fort Benning, GA. I ordered the 10 DVD set. The workout was great but what kills me is the special offers you recieve with every order I checked the box marked Activit Supplements for $1.00. It did say that I will get one bottle for $1.00 and nowhere did it say that after the first bottle, I would be automatically enrolled into an auto shipment. Much like many of you. When I first noticed a new charge in Jan 08, I started my campaign so to speak to resolve this. I have sent countless emails, live assistance, and phone calls to no avail. Last month I sent a written letter stating that I wanted off their mailing list. Today, 1 OCT 08 i noticed a new charge from a different company. Wondering what it was I called it. Turns out it was Beach Body. If you have called the number you will know they are Indian. I spoke to one customer service rep. and got no answers. I asked to speak to his supervisor and asked him where they were based out of. To my suprise, I was calling India. I finally got a hold of their corpoarate office in California. Spoke to one lady who actually cancelled my order/membership. I asked her if I could speak with her manager who was busy on the phone and would cal me back on the number They have on record. She repeated the number which was wrong, I corrected her and she read back the correct number. About 4 hours later I still didn't recieve a call. I I then called Beach Body again and got the rudest customer service rep who basically hung up on me when transferring me to his manger. I asked him about the phone call I was suppossed to get and he said I was called but the person that answered said I didn't live there. I once again asked for the number they had on file and low and behold it was the wrong one that I had already corrected the lady one. I finally got ahold of his manager after about 30 minutes on hold. Pleaded my case and she would not budge. Said she would meet me half way and refund me for 2 months which by my math is a total of 1/4 of the way. As a service member I told her that I would get ahold of JAG to elp me with this issue. She still wouldn't budge so I took it one step further. I told her I wanted only 4 months out of the year refund. Only 4 months which is nothing for them or I was going to file a complaint with not only JAG, but the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau as well. As soon as I said that she processed my request for a 4 month refund. Supposedly I will get it in two weeks. I will Keep you posted on the progress and hope my story will help you out.

I originally purchased P90X after seeing the infomercial, I didn't pickup the phone and call I went online and did a little research on the product and company and then ordered it online. If you're looking to avoid any upselling that always happens when you call any advertised product, I recommend you go to [] and go through one of the companies [] sites. It's a simple process. If you're serious about getting results and getting the support the company promotes then I highly recommend finding a Beachbody Coach to work with, buy the product via their coach website, costs are the same, and make contact with the coach to verify if they are in fact someone you can work with. P90X is a challenging program but the one thing it isn't is a scam.

My only complaint with Beachbody, having been a customer since May, 2005 when I saw the Turbo Jam infomercials, is their customer service department. I'm sure it's outsourced and when you figure in the Eastern citizrns accents and a phone delay when you call the 800#, it's not surprising to find the orders are incomplete, incorrect or just impossible to sumetimes rectify. But to keep the DVDs prices low, the customer service order center is outsourced for costs' sake. I don't think it should be, since Americans need the jobs here, but every one wants both great service and low prices. I'd pay more if the CS banks were here in the U.S., but not many think as I do. As for the DVDs themselves, I have almost all of them, accessories, supplements and plan to be a TBB coach. These DVDs work IF you're willing to put in your time, press play and be patient with yourself. No one gets a great looking body w/o hard work, time invested in yourself or giving up vices like smoking, sugar, white flour products and such. And, although losing weight is the hook to get you to buy Beachbody stuff, and I'll get more, including Chalene's new DVDs out this fall, Debbie Siebers's new DVDs and Tony Horton's One-on-One subscription, the ultimate goal other than losing weight is to get your body, mind, soul and spirit running as bank vault door tight as your body, the machine, is. My suggestion in the future: When ordering products form Beachbody, you can become a Club Member (it's $40 quarterly, easily a fraction of the price for a standard gym membership) and get the DVDs for 10% off retail price and deal DIRECTLY with the CS reps in the U.S. of Beachbody. Or, you can order directly from their website and still get the upgraded rush delivery with your intended payments. Two things with that, though: When you order from the Club Member side of Beachbody, you cannot do a monthly payment thing with them, so have the money on your credit or debit card outright. On the Beachbody side, you CAN monthly payment your things out, BUT plan to pay a hefty shipping charge and the bulk of the payment from that side will be in your first month statement. The final two won't nearly be as much. And you don't get a discount, either. Nothing's perfect. Think of it this way: If Beachbody were like your cell phone or cable company, and mine is [], I'd've dumped their sorry behinds long ago. Maybe you would've too. Thanks.

Bought the P90X on []. Great work out, a little intense 4 me since I had back surgery 8 months prior. It works obviously if you follow the nutrition plan which is straight forward and push play. But was too much 4 me. Wound up reinjuring my back and had to give the DVDs to my friend. Will try again soon. Bought the product on [] and only negative was that I couldn't return the pull up bar which didn't fit in any of my door jams. I ate the nutrition bars and thought they were a decent purchase. Just glad I didn't have to hear all the sales talk.

I am reviewing P90x, not power 90, but p90x wasn't on the list. Some of these reviews below are circumstantial, and probably only happened to a couple of them. Either that or i got lucky. I bought this product and thought it was fantastic and i still continue to use it today! i also bought an additional pull-up bar found on their website, and it works fantastic as well! I am very pleased. However, the P90x company mailed and charged me for 2, even though i only ordered one. I called the number on the box, they told me to send it back, and the cost was erased! Problem solved in 10 minutes! I think its a great product and works great as long as you follow the program. And yes, it is very intense. -Chris T.

I ordered p90x from the website without any complications. I double checked my credit card accounts the following months and there were no 'hidden' or additional expenses incurred. This company is not a scam! I'm very happy with the dvds and will continue to do business with beachbody. Hope this helps ppl that are skeptical

Dealing with Beach body is a challenge. Like many others here I called to purchase 'ONE' of their products. What a chore. Love their products. Abhor their tactics and service.

I ordered the P90X system about four months ago and have been doing the workouts consistently. I love the program, and beachbody.com and milliondollarbody.com have both been good resources. I avoided the hassle of dealing with the company and being upsold on extras by purchasing it off ebay.

Are you serious? It's the same for all of the things that everyone here complains about. If people get screwed by infomercials it's your own fault. They are not forcing you to be a sucker and to buy their junk from late night infomercials. Just don't even pick up the phone in the first place. Change the channel. Why not just go to the mall or a fitness store with your family? Better yet, why not join a gym? Or go running? Or not eat like somebody is going to take it away from you? God. Get over it. Regards, MT

I was ripped off by the P90X company as everyone else seems to have been on this list. I ordered the P90X product but did NOT SUBSCRIBE TO ANYTHING else! They have been withdrawing from my visa account monthly and even worse I haven't been receiving anything. This is what happened in the last two months to my visa account: 28 Apr 2008 PPL*BEACHBODY FITNESS 866-370-8219 CA 90.37 86.87 USD @ 1.0402 28 Mar 2008 PPL*BEACHBODY FITNESS 866-370-8219 CA 90.75 86.84 USD @ 1.0450 I immediately knew something funny (and infuriating!) was going on so I did a google of P90X to find their website and that is how I found this site - I am shocked this is happening to so many others! I now have to somehow get the visa withdrawals to stop! The management of this company really shoiuld be locked up - I'm going to spreaad the news and point the media to this web page and it would be great if you all could do this too. Your local newspapers, email cc's to government, CNN, Globe & Mail, places likle this. I'm glad I found this site. Cheers, John

First off, thanks for this space. Yes I called for this product and went through the 10 or so minute extras speech. Al I wanted was the exercise dvd's. I feel a fool for falling for the line, "The chin-up bar a especially made for ultimate fitness." I called after the 30 days for the Return Authorization number for the pills. I also called customer service to get the $38.87 charge reversed on my credit card for the so called support. I never logged in to their website and quite frankly totally do not remember it being mentioned at all. I explained to the customer service girl that I thought they could not be serious to think that all that was said in those conversations would be remembered. We are have busy lives right? I asked her, "Miss? Without looking on your screen, can you remember my street address I just spoke to you? She confessed she could not. I told her that I will never recommend this product to others. You have to admit they are pretty desparate for money if they use these tactics for a couple extra fin. By the way, I recorded the entire conversation (told her I would for my protection), and she said, "That's okay sir, we do too." I talked to their call polling people. All I got was an general interpretation saying "Sir you agreed to blah, blah." No content from myself or the order taker was ever quoted. That too me says alot. Bottom line, they are not a good organization to deal with. Warn others to borrow the dvd's from their poor friends (like me) that got taken.

What a joke! I tried to order this for the low price of $14.95 which was a limited time offer and called the number. The women on the phone didn't even know what power 90 was and kept saying "rocking bodies" for 59.95 After some discussion she gave me the number for "customer service" and they didn't know of the offer and said that I must be "confused" I told them that I was actually watching the commerical as the gentleman on the phone was talking and it said the offer again. I decided at that moment that any company that doesnt' have it together to this degree must be a scam! Sounds like I was right. I'm just glad that I had trouble and dind't order it!

After seeing P90X on the tv my wife and I decided to order. There was a promise to UPRADE to FREE EXPRESS DELIVERY. Our order was placed on March 9, we still have not received our items. The date is now March 19. It has been 10 days. We have contacted customer service several times and found them to be rude, and nothing but scam artist. The are NOT willing to help you at all, after waiting on hold at least 10 or 15 minutes each phone call. They said our order had been shipped but could not provide a tracking number for at least a week. We tried online customer support and waited 45 minutes for a live chat with them. They were extremly RUDE and refused to help us at all. We spent 170.00 and have received NOTHING. Finally, our order was shipped after 6 days, and we contacted UPS. They stated that the package was being shipped BASIC priority. Which means our order will not arrive for a few more days, still! So from the date of our order, it will take all together 13 days, if it even arrives then. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a company in my life. PLEASE do not order from them!! The representative online refused to send us an email conformation or tracking number, she said UPS would update through email. ANOTHER LIE. UPS does no such thing. Why could they not provide a tracking number? Because it HAD NOT been shipped. We thought we would NEVER receive anything in the mail. It's okay that it didn't arrive in 2 days or 5 days because this was a SPECIAL offer anyway, and we feared that our account had been debited and we were never to receive the order. We just wanted it to arrive EVENTUALLY anyway. It isn't right to LIE to customers. This has been reported and we hope all other complaints will be as well!

P90X - Caveat Emptor! Such a great product I am amazed that beachbody stoops to the levels it does. I ordered the P90X on the web site, and there were a lot of attempts to up-sell during the purchase process. No biggie. They are in business to make money. I was promised a free trial of the vitamins which I accepted.(first mistake) When I received the product there was a notice inside that said that I had a free membership on []. Everything seemed fair to me at this point, and I logged in using the password. (second mistake) After about 30 days, I noticed that my credit card had been billed by beachbody. The free trial of the vitamins was aparently a subscription which they intended on regularly billing my credit card. The same was true of the membership on []. It took several hours to resolve this mess and explain that I did no t want the vitamins on a regular basis, I had to pay shipping to send them bak. Additionally I did not want to pay a monthly fee for my FREE membership on []. Given the price of the product, a free trial of the vitamins, and a membership on the web site seemed like a reasonable bonus for buying on the web site. I guess the moral of the story is READ THE FINE PRINT. The product itself is great, the videos keep you motivated, the books are easy to read. Just be careful with any "freebies" the company may offer. They're not fee!

I decided to order the p90x system online. After a very extensive ordering process where they repeatedly try to upsell you, I came to the end where you commit to the purchase and the invoice came up completly wrong. I had a bad feeling throughout the entire process and the incorrect invoice confirmed it. I called customer service and was amazed when I actually got through and they cancelled the order! I agree with everyone who says the ordering process/customer service really stinks however, I feel the product is good. I ordered the p90x system [] and received it with no issues or strings attached.

I ordered P90X - it is a good product but I was supposed to get free shipping - it was 43.85. I couldn't use the chin-up bar - it wouldn't fit on my doors - to return I would have to pay the shipping...long story short I would only wind up 15 dollars ahead if I returned the bar and I would have to trust MDB to refund my 44.85 - I didn't think I would have much luck with the credit so I have a useless chin-up bar...I also found out that I was signed up for vitamins and the club - this was going to cost me almost 400 dollars a year so I canceled. I am going to contact my credit card. They are extremely devious in their marketing...they pull you in with the dvd's but get you with unmentioned shipping and hidden charges - bottom line - don't deal with this company - if you want the program but it elsewhere...the company cannot be trusted to present things in an honest way.

I love the Beach Body products. They have giving me a variety of fun and effective workouts. But as with the other complaints, they have the very worst service department on the earth! Not one of my orders have gone through without some difficulty. I have written, called and e-mailed the company over twenty times and you never get a stragiht answer or resolution. They actually have been quite rude to me at times. My solution is ordering Turbo Jam products and Power 90 through other venues. [] has been good if you buy from others and not BB. It's so sad to have good products and horrid service.

No complaints about the product...nothing but complaints about their marketing, sales and refund practices. I too fell victim to the Million Dollar Body Scam. If you notice PRODUCT PARTNERS LLC DOES NOT LIST the price of this product on the invoice they send you when you receive their product. However they do list the price of everything else. This is to divert you attention from the fact THEY ENROLLED you in the program. Unless you are diligent with reviewing your monthly credit card charges, they can easily defraud you out of hundreds of dollars. I have reported my experience with the Better Business Bureau and suggest eveyone else do the same. To avoid anyone else from buying this product I am sharing what I purchased with family and friends FOR FREE!!!!!! Then it goes []...so instead of me referring everyone to BUY the product I'm going to bite into profits....
