I purchased the Smart Space Power Vac (name is being used now) on 1/31/08. I was to buy 1 and get 1 free (along with a power steamer). The cost was to be 59.95 to 19.95 shipping and handling. I received 4 vacuums, no power steamer and was charged 193.90 with 159.80 owed. I am cancelling my credit card as we speak so they won't get the 159.80, and I have been on hold with their customer service for over an hour. My checking account was overdrawn because of the excessive amount, so I had other things to bounce and my bank charged me a fee. I'm getting an attorney and suing this company.

I ordered 1 tv power vac and was supposed to get one free. Well, they sent me four and charged me $94 for shipping and handling. They charged me $353.70 on my credit card. They don't answer the phone when I call to report a problem. A recorded voice says someone will be with me shortly, but no one responds. This is definitely a big scam. I'm going to hire a lawyer just because I'm so angry. I will never order from tv again. I learned a lesson. I'm calling my credit card company and sending all four machines back to these creeps. Is the tv station aware of this problem? Surely they don't endorse such scam artists.

I am with the many others who feel duped. I went through the automated order process and they make it sound like you have to say "yes" to get the extra "free" vacuum they offer (HA!). What you are doing, however, is ordering another one that you have to pay for. Their is no going back or talking to a human to clarify what has taken place in the ordering process. AND, I could not get the vacuum to pick up anything on my carpet either. Duped and disappointed. Unfortunately with my FOUR vacuums, every time a turn a corner in my house their is a reminder of my stupidity. P.S., I'll be happy to retell this story when the class action lawsuit starts. Count me IN!

I wish I had read your comments before ordering this product that is indeed too good to be true. I was charged $156 instead of the $39 per month + shipping of $20. When I called and asked them to refund the difference and take two additional payments on the schedule they advertise they told me they could not do it. I asked for a refun, they said no as well since it supposedly JUST shipped this morning. I called UPS and they had not picked up from their warehouse yet today so I called them again and asked that they not ship and I was told no again. The third and fourth time I called I was hung up on. Crooks.

in december of 2007 i finally recieved the vacuums that i ordered plus 2 more. i was to pay in installments over 3 months.(39.99 each) free s&h for which i was charged 94.00. 193.90 was billed to my credit card with a remaining balance of 158.80. I had to cancell my credit card to insure they would not recieve any additional money. now i am recieving letters from a collection agency for the remaining balance. they said i could return the 2 vacs i did not order but must pay to have them shipped back. I am contacting the attorney generals office to file a complaint. plus the vacs don't vac.

I odered the cyclanic vac. They had doubled my order and charged my bank card $175 for shipping with the intent of charging me for the four vacs when I had only ordered the one with a free one plus free steamer. Three payments of $39.95 for a total of $119.85.
i called my bank to stop payment, I have been trying to call them for over a week with no success to cancel the whole shipment. I have the date, time and channel I was watching where I saw to order,I also will be contacting the post office and the Nebraska County Att. office. It is a shame to find out how dishonest some companies can be. It ruins it for the good guys.

I purchased 1 and got 1 free smart space power vac but they sent me 4 vacuums and charged me for two! Tried calling them several times! Most of the time i get a busy signal. When the phone finally goes through, I am put on hold for a very long time. Very dissatisfied with their customer service. As of today (01-15-2008) I still have not had contact with a live person over the phone! I don't recommend this product at all. Tried it at home and am very displeased with it.

This is also known as Smart Space Power Vac or Windstorm Vac or Lazerstorm Vac. Doesn't it make you wonder why they keep changing their name? Here's my story: They say that "God protects his fools and idiots", but the next line should be "But not from Infomercials"!!! I ordered this product and waited with great anticipation (6 wks)for this marvel of all marvels. Then, I got it. Yeah, I got it alright. Boy, did I get it! I could say "This vac SUCKS",but it doesn't. It couldn't pull hair off a dead cat.
1)Offer was for "buy one, get one free" for $59.95. I was charged double $119.85. BUT WAIT, order now, within the next 9 minutes, and we will send you a FREE 2) Power Steamer, I was charged $20.00, BUT WAIT, order now and we include FREE shipping. 3)$57.00 + $16.24 tax. A total of $133.19 was charged to my American Express, leaving a balance of $79.90 in 2 monthly payments. YEE HA WHAT A DEAL!Then,I did the research. Why aren't these people in Jail? A. Don't buy this junk! B. Send it back the cheapest way possible! C.Dispute ALL charges with your creditcard co. D.God doesn't protect you from infomercials, but my American Express always does. They don't put up with these CROOKS. Not for one minute. (I'm just a card holder; I don't work for them) E)If you don't have amex, Get one. Then it's safe to swim in the water with all these sharks. D) I live in the great state of Texas,(where this crap comes from) and will forward this letter to the State Attorney General. I suggest you do the same.
Signed, OLGEEZER in El Paso

This company is the worst I have ever delt with.. My mother received two boxes from this company, the surprise was that she had never heard of the company and had no idea what they were. She phoned the (866)626-7956 customer assistance line and was informed there had been "Several" fraudulent purchases made in the Nashville market and that all she needed to do was contact UPS and inform them she was refusing shippment of the packages, and that all her 475.25 would be refunded in 7 working days. On the 9th day my mother called the company back and they informed her it would be 3 more days befor she received her "partial refund". Now they were not going to refund the S&H charges. After fighting with them about this, they informed her they would refund all the S&H charges. Now 4 days later they have credited her account 3 seperate payments totaling 415.25. So once again she calls to see where the other 60 is and they tell her she was only getting a "partial refund" on the S&H charges untill she could prove that this was actually a fraudulent purchase. The first day this happened my mother had her Debit cards cutoff thinking her account had been compromissed. The jerk she spoke with today yelled at her and told her he did not think this was fraudulent because whomever ordered from them had all her information, hmm isn't that what identity theft is. This company "sucks" and if anyone knows of any consumer groups that can get the word out on them please let me and everyone else on her know.

I seen the commerical on TV and thought it would be a great item. When I called a computer automated service picked up. I ordered the vacuum. I was never told a total. I ordered in May of 2006. I tried to cancel my order before it came because all of a sudden I thought something was wrong. I ordered on Saturday, I called right back to talk with a live person and never could get one. I then called on that following Monday. I spoke with someone who finally told me that my card had been billed $330.25. I just lost it. I told her I wanted to cancel my order but she said that it was too late the vacuums had been sent and when they arrived just send them back for a full refund. I did receive the vacuums on 6/21/06. To my surprise there were 3 of them in the box. I only expected 2. I did try the vacuum, but it did not do all that they said it would do. So I called customer service and spoke with William. He instructed me to return the vacuums and I would get a full refund. That was on 7/17/06. I packed the vacuums and mailed them off on 07/18/06. I did get a signature confirmation that they received them back on 07/25/06 at 10:59 am in Torrance, CA by a Laura Garcia. I then called customer service on 07/26/06 and spoke with a customer service rep. He told me I could expect my refund in 3 weeks and he assured me my account would be credited the full price including the shipping. I waited 28 days then called their customer service department on 8/22/06 only to be told another company is now handling this account. I would now have to email my request and that I would get my full refund, but she didn't just know when. I have been on this for sometime. I still haven't received my money back. I just figured that is what I get for ordering from TV. I have since not even watched another infomerical. But today 12/2/07, I turned on the TV and there was the vacuum that had scammed me. It was under another name. But I would know that vacuum anywhere. I couldn't believe it was still out there, ready to rip off millons of other trusting Americans. I called the number, I actually got a person. I told her why is this vacuum still on TV. She wouldn't answer my questions and she just gave me her customer service number and website. You can bet on Monday, I will call that number. I will also get on that web site. They now call the vacuum the Power Vac by Smart Space, Milinex isn't listed. I know if you see the commerical, you would agree with me it is the same vacuum and almost the same commerical as the one that we all have seen and still see in our nightmares. They even offer the same deal. How can this continue to happen. Why doesn't our government do something to stop this. So you can take a product and change the name and still sell it to Americans knowing it is a scam. I thought we had rights as citizens. I thought we were protected from things like this after they have been proven to be a scam. I just don't want someother American Citizen to be scammed by this vacuum. Don't buy it no matter what they call it. I hope something will be done to Milinex by our government. They deserve to be punished. If this was any of us. We would have had to pay the price for scamming our neighbors. Why not THEM! I hope all of you still feel the same way.
Thank you and good luck to everyone. website www.tv-vac.com and the customer care number is 1-800-591-7462. The number listed on the TV was 1-800-664-4201

I also order the vacuums that was buy one get one free on 5/15/06 from Milinex Power Storm, I ordered 1 and received 2 orders which came to a total of 4 vacuums. I was billed on my credit card $389.50 included shipping. I sent 1 of the orders back and have requested a refund for it and keep getting the same email saying it is being reviewed in 7-10 days. I have tried calling and cannot get a live person. It has been over a year now and still no response. This company needs to be stopped. I cannot believe that they can keep scamming like this and have not been caught. It is now November 2007 and still no refund. I hope that people will check this company out before they order. Good Luck to all of us on getting our money back.

They sent two sets of the vacuums, that's 4 total vacuums. We returned the extra 2 but were never credited for them. In addition the shipping charges were 38 dollars, all the way to the west coast. Si we were bilked out of 175 for the vacuums and another 38 in shipping. No doubt they resold them to someone else for a profit.
