I had seen the tv infomercials that show it to be such a powerful vaccum. I went online and ordered one...then found myself adding all these extras like steamer, filters, hoses, etc. If I knew I was going to be spending $200 I would have gone to WalMart. After 2 months of nothing I contacted them to be told there was a backorder problem. When it got near 3 months I received the vaccum, but none of the other items. I tried out the machine and found that it had NO suction, and after ten minutes of use it overheats and shuts off so you have to wait a couple hours to cool down. It was such a piece of junk that I contacted them and told them so; and also said to forget about sending any of the extras. So I got an email stating that the rest of my order would be cancelled. But they had collected for all of it. After trying for three more months I have not been credited one dime. I always thought they were not supposed to charge you until they are sending the item. But they did and won't give it back. I also would like to know what the vaccum used in the infomercial is, because it is not anything like the one they send.

My original order was in Nov of 06. They contacted me and told me there on line system had screwed up and my order was never placed. In January I OK'd the order. I got the vaccum's but no free steamer and the dust clothes they said I would recieve by letting them take the entire payment for the Vacc's. I have called and they said I owed $20 for the shipping of the steamer which was charged on my credit card but as of yet I have not recieved anything. Their service sucks and it looks as if I'll be out a few bucks. The Vacc's aren't all that great either!!

I ordered buy one storm vav get one free on 1/14/07. Today is 3/24/07. I have not recieved them. I was directed to a customer service site that I cannot find. There should be something we can do about these thieves. Maybe stick one of their vaccums where the sun don't shine. Linda

Same thing happened to me! I contacted my credit card company and an disputing the charges. I have also contacted my local television station but haven't heard back yet. This has never happened to me before. How does one go about starting a class action suit? I don't know how to contact everyone or what is required, but I DO believe we have cause, don't you?

I ordered this product in Nov. 06 buy one get one free via an automated system and I received four vacs. Charged twice for the item & shipping. After examining the products and realizing the poor quality I shipped them back via Fed Ex at my expense for a refund. Now i call the customer service # and it only directs you to email. No response since nov. I did receive the steamer & filters (that I don't need now)wit the vacs. I'm out of $371.67 (charged) & $56 to ship back.

I ordered the millinex vac in July '06 and I have attempted to call and email several times with no response. Still haven't received the vaccuum or my money back. I paid $170 and I am a single mother that could really use this money for supporting my child. These people need to be shut down!! I don't understand how they can get away with taking money from so many people and still be in business. Isn't there some kind of law against this??

I too ordered the vacuum from an infomercial in which they were offering 2 for the price of one. I did receive the Steam Cleaner as a free gift, which didn't work well. I ordered the vacuums on Dec. 1, 2006 and have placed several calls inquiring as to the status of my order. I am told that the products are on back order and that they are being shipped from California. They were supposedly shipped via FedEx on 1/29/07 and it could take 4 to 8 weeks for delivery! I live in Washington and there's no way it should take that long. I still haven't received the products! I wonder if FedEx knows they're using their name as the shipping company? I can't believe I've been scammed! I did a Google search to find out if I could contact the company instead of customer service and found this site. I can't believe it. Never again!

I received my vacuums and steamer but have called several times on the 3Pack Filters in which I was told they were on back order but I had paid $17.97 plus shipping already. Each time I called I was told they were on back order. I guess I am one of the lucky ones at least I received the vacuums and steamer now I just have to find something to replace the filters because the vacuums are not good with out them Maureen

I ordered the vaccums in January. I have never received my product. Everytime I write I get a response that someone will notify me within 7-10 business days. As I read the other stories I was shocked to see the amount of money taken from their account. So far I have been lucky and only one payment was taken from me. That payment does not include shipping and handling which was another charge of 37 dollars. The first thing I will do Monday is cancel this card so no other money will be withdrawn from my account. The customer service number was the same ast one lady stated. I cannot believe I've been a victim of a scam. I have never been caught up in such a thing and will never get caught up again.

I ordered my powerstorm vac in November or 2006 and have still not received it. I have tried repeatedly to reach them without success. They took the money out of my account 2 weeks after I ordered it. What can I do about this?

The customer service is lousy, I was overcharged one payment, and the filters I ordered a month ago have not arrived yet. The customer service number(1 800-278-6886) I have in my invoice is useless, I'm being referred to an e-mail address with also poor results. I'm very angry with the service I have received from this company.

Like many, she called and they told her she would soon be receiving it and that it was already mailed out. A friend of hers ordered one and received it, therefore, she did not believe this to be a scam.Soon enough, the phone number was not working and the web site referred her to an email address. Is there anything that can be done??? If so, please post ur suggetsions...thank you.

I wrote up a complaint to the Attorney General in my state and I got the papers online and copied them. Filled them out and sent them in about a week ago. If I were you I would do the same, because this is wrong that these people are doing this. What planet are they from? I have made numurous phone calls and e-mails and to this company (Millinex and Igia) and I'm not putting up with it any more!

Sad but true..so many of these stories of hard-working folks getting scammed out hundreds or more. Seems many have had the same bitter experience with Milinex that I have. I ordered the 'buy 1 get 1 with free steamer' after seeing the infomercial..seemed like a good product. Well I wouldn't know, because I haven't recieved anything from this company since I ordered in late Oct. 06. Their e-mail address for order inquiries is USELESS! Back-ordered or not, 6 months waiting for a product is worthy of serious & direct ridicule!

I ordered the Milinex Power Storm Vac on 11-14-06. I called before x-mas to ask when was I getting it, they told me it was on back order to call back. I called again on 1-15-07 they told me it was still on back order. I asked them how can it be on back order if I ordered it in Nov. They told me to call back again. So I called again on 1-29-07. Then there was a recording telling me to refer to this web site and this pops up. I was shocked at how many complaints there were, I couldn't believe it was a scam. I sent them a check for 156.85, I was supposed to get 2 vacuums, they wer BOGO, I didn't get anything. But they did keep my money. What can I do to get my money back. Somebody please help.

I ordered a Power stormvac in August 2005 and was billed on my AMEX card on September 9, 2005. On November 16, 2005, I called 1-800-711-3357 to cancel the order because I did not receive the stormvac. I was given a confirmation number for cancellation of order. I waited two billing periods and no credit was issued to my account. On January 24 and 31,2006 I called the above number and left my name and number. No one returned my call. I called again on February 3 and spoke to Rosa in Accounting who told me the credit of $426.41 would be issued by the end of February. I called on March 7 and was given 1-800-709-2216. I called and spoke to Cathy who told me the credit would be issued on March 17 and gave me two confirmation numbers for the two charges posted on my account. From that point on, and up until August 17, 2006 I have called just about every week and was getting cut off after be on hold for 30-45 minutes. On August 17, I called and was given 1-800-278-6886 and spoke to George who told me the company was taken over and I should email my refund request to customerservice@milinex.com. I have sent emails since then and I only get confirmations of my emails. Nothing else. This company owes me $426.41. I have kept a record of all the calls made and who I spoke to. I have yet to receive anything from this company. I tried calling today, March 12 and there is only a recording instructing callers to send an email to customerservice@milinex.com. It it truly a disgrace. Rose

I ordered the 2 vacuums on the evening of 10/14/2006. I changed my mind and called the next day to cancel the order & I was told the item was already processed and shipped/ I said in amazement " how can that be, I just ordered them yesterday and it doesnt seem possible that they could already be shipped." I was told that I should just return them when they arrived and I would get a credit. I assumed my card had already been charged but the charge didnot go through until 10/17/2006. The vacuums did not arrive so I called in november & december to report that i had not received them and by this time i was upset and said I wanted my account credited immeditately for non receipt of product. I called again on Jan 22, 2007 and was told the credit would be issued in 7- 10 days. Never happened. I called again Feb 9. 2007, spooke to the mgr. Justin, and was told the "processor" had been down for weeks and the credits could not be issued, but the problem was being resolved. But they did not know when the credit would be issued. I called again the end of February and heard the same story. I just called again and got an answering machine which referred me to their website and this sited popped up. I should have realized the scam when I was told the next day that the item was shipped. I just could not imagine any product being shipped that fast but the girl was sure the itmes had been shipped as they were very prompt with their shipping. I have obviously been lied to by every employee at this company and I am extremely angry and want my money back, to say the least. How can I participate in getting these people arrested and charged? and is ther any way to get tmy money back?
