I like the rest of the people that got ripped off, havn't recieved my vacuum yet. It was ordered in November of 05. I have called many times and have talked to several people and they told me I would have a full refund to my account withen 10 working days, and still nothing yet. My credit card company said that now I've waited to long for a dispute claim. Talk about bein dooped.

Well, I wish I saw all these complaints before I ordered.  I ordered the basic vacuum -- and saw that my debit card was charged for double the price.  Seems like that's their tactic.  Then, when you write to the email, it comes back and undeliverable.  When I spoke to one of the representatives 2 weeks ago, she said that the money would be credited to my account within 24 hours.  Then a week later when I called again, they said, impossible -- it takes 10 days at least because the forms go to a different office in a different city, blah, blah.  I'm going to cancel my debit card tomorrow -- but if by chance I am credited, it will go through, even if you change your debit number.  That's just a little bit of info that the bank gave me, so it's possible to still get our refunds. What a mess.

On April 22nd I saw a add for the power storm vacuum. I ordered it, it also came with a free steamer.  I used my visa check card, they charged my account for $429.50.  When i saw that it was suppose to be half that amount, my card was charged on April 27th. I still haven't gotten the vacuum yet. I went online May 5th to look up the vacuum, and i saw all the complaints and misleading.  So i went to my bank, and they can't do anything yet because i did order the vacuum.  They said that was not fraud, but if I don't get it i will have to go back to the bank.  I suggest everyone to stay away from the Powerstrom vacuum.  I called the 800 number and the 212 number nobody wants to talk to you or else you stay on hold forever.  I sure learned my lesson.

I seen the product on tv and was in need of a good vaccum.  However it has already been over 2 weeks and no vaccum has been delivered. They got me for 112.00 already, I already called my credit card agency and they have refunded it back to my account.  These people are lyers and what goes around will all ways come back and bite you.  I don't understand how they could of been allowed to even be on tv. I guess they are real good at being scam artist.

I too ordered the powerstorm on April 22nd and didn't get wind of this situation until May 1st.  When I saw the complaints I immediately called my bank and had my debit card cancelled.  I was very fortunate they never charged my account.  My bank is keeping an eye on my account.  Thank you so much for your information.  I have never been scammed before and it's not a good feeling.

On April 15th I saw and add for the power storm vacuum as a bogo. So I ordered it for $120 plus shipping and handling. It also came with a free steamer plus shipping and an upgrade package and a mop or some such. They offered me so much on the phone, some I took some I didn't, however I never wrote down the $$$ amounts, and I never actually got to speak to a person, which these days is not unusual. Anyway, I used my visa check card and they took $489.50 out of my account, I was completely shocked by this amount, I was expecting about $250 at the most. Now I did get someone at Windstorm corporate phone number that was on my bank statement, she said that my order has not shipped yet but it would soon. She also stated that I was getting 4 units with 4 upgrades and 4 steamers, etc. because that is what I ordered. I said no it isn't and that I want the second set of everything cancelled and refunded since it hadn't shipped yet and she said that was impossible since it was in the warehouse and packed up already, I would have to return what I didn't want. Now doesn't that mean I would have to pay shipping again? Plus I paid for expedited shipping so that I would have this in 7-10 days, so I asked for that to be refunded as well. She said that would be done but it wasn't very convincing. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow to dispute this charge. I wish I had done some research but I assumed it was pretty brazen to advertise on TV if it were a scam so I thought nothing of it. On a side note, thankfully my bank just merged and I received a NEW card with a NEW number just days after all this took place so I can't  be billed again and again like I read a few people here were.

I orered 2 sets of Power Storm Vacum on 4/17/06.  I received the huge carton box by USPS FIRST CLASS yesterday 5/2/06.  Looking at the invoice they charged me following: 2 SF7739-2 Power Stome Vac  $239.70 4 Deluxe PowerStormUpgrade  $100.00 Shipping USPS First Class   $109.80 Total $449.50 I called Customer Service immediately at 1800-278-6886 and waited on the line for 36 minutes.  Velonica Hill who picked up line and said she was the Manager and she couldn't give me any reasonable anser but kept saying that I ordered so.  Then she hung up on me.  The ad on Internet says One cdomplete vacum set is $59.85.  I have never had this kind of trouble with ordering TV marchandise.  Please help.

What a mess! I made my first infomercial purchase. What a mistake. My vacuums were never delivered. The email I sent to millinex was returned as undeliverable. I was on hold 3 times about 20 minutes each and finally gave up.  I called the 212- number, which was corporate headquarters and was told nobody was in the office, I could call back tomorrow.  I had to cancel my debit card for fear this company would keep charging to it. I was sure I would never fall for a scam. Well, I did!! THanks for the chance to vent.

I ordered the powerstorm vac and they charged over 100 dollars to my credit card account a few days later.  However after several months, I did not receive my order.  I called and emailed the company but there was no answer.  I also wrote a letter to the company stating my problems.  There has been no answer to any of my emails, letters, or phone calls.  DO NOT BUY THE IGIA VAC!!

It seems I'm another gullible one scammed for this sweeper.  There is absolutely no way to get in touch with these people and they took the $319.70 from my account too.  Wrote the Governor of Caltfornia, the BBB and the Attorney General of Ca and the FCC and I see the company is advertising again and I don't know how to let the public know about these scam artists.  No one seems to care if the public is ripped off or not.

After making the same purchase that so many others have made as well, I then found this site. Just a moment to late. I too seen the infomercial for this Vacuum and BOGO offer and jumped on it, shame on me....I know better to do my homework first. Nothing has been taken from my account as of yet as I just did this an hour or 2 ago. Since then to say I am scared from all the horror stories is an understatement! I already have my bank on alert, e-mailed a cancellation notice....AND contacted any and every news station you can imagine. Via e-mail and snail mail) Wether their intentions are to screw me as well as all of you.....I will fight to the finish as these people need to be exposed! So keep you fingers crossed and know that I am all over this! Signed, Failure is NOT an option! I will post again when this story explodes as I will see this thing through!

April 15, 2006 Saturday, I called the number on the screen to order the power storm vacuum, it wasnt a live person but I continued to process my order. I was convinced to order because I thought it was cheap, only 3 easy payments of $19.95. I gave my credit card number over the phone, but since the automated thing kept asking too much question, I hang-up the phone, so I expected that no transaction should happen since I discontinue it and did not confirm the order. Same day I tried to check online and found their website (I wished I saw this forum first) I ordered online with upgrades and only ordered 1 vacuum with 3 easy payments of $19.95. I thought I would only pay 19.95 plus S/H plus warranty and upgrade addtl. of $55. But on the confirmation page it says my bill is $162.83. So I said, I'll just call them up on Monday April 17. So, I called them up on Monday and left a message, then called them up on Tuesday and left a message again, still no response from them. On Tuesday, April 18, I checked my credit card and I was surprised to find out that they have immediately charged me! And they have charged me twice! April 17 a charge of $122.93 and April 18 a charge of $223.08. So I called them again and left a message, finally I got a call back from them and they said that they already shipped it and can't cancel them anymore! Amazing! they can ship it right away but they don't have time to answer their calls. So the Lady told me to just refuse it when the 2 shipment arrives. She gave me a phony tracking number for USPS! I called them up again and left a message but have not responded to my call anymore... Until I found this website about the complaints, and one of the post here was their customer service number. So called the 1-800-711-8357 and I was able to actually talk to a live person! She knew all about my transaction and I asked her very nicely for her help so I can cancel my order, but she yelled at me and told me that I already purchased it and then she hang-up the phone at me! I was so upset, so I just called Capital One and made a dispute of the charges they made! I just hope they will return the money. I'm not the one who pays for my credit card that's why I'm in deep trouble! Who ever can help me with this, I would really appreciate it so much.

On 2/12/06 I ordered 2-2 for 1 power storm vacs, and 4 of the extended warranties.  Shipping was to be in 4-6 weeks.  ON 2/15/06 I called to cancel the order and was told that it had already been shipped. Was told to call when product arrived to get a return authorization code (535000), and return the product for credit to my Visa card.  Briana (CSR) also told me to call when I had receipt for the return package and they would process my credit within 72 hours.  Vaccums arrived on 3/20/06/  On 3/28/06, CSR Briana gave me the Return Authorization Code of 535000, and on 3/31/2006 I returned everything via Priority Mail with Signature Confirmatin Number of 2103-8555-7491-1638-0486.  Product was received (and signed for) on 4/4/06. on 4/7/06 I spoke with CSR Patricia who said she was immediately processing, herself, the $40 credit for the extended Warranties and that her supervisor was immediately processing the credit for the vaccums ($239.70), and that both credits would post within 72 hours.  When credit did not post to my account, I've tried for days to contact the company, and found that phones had been disconnected.  Finally, on 4/20/06, I got the new customer service number 1800-716-6886 by calling the sales number.  I have called this new number every day and was put on hold with a voice message of "thank you for called cusotmer services; all agents are busy; we'll be with you momentarily."  I've been on hold for up to an hour until today, 4/25/06 when I spoke with Erica.  She said my credit was in process.  I told her that it was suppose to be posted within 72 hours (by April 12).  She said there was nothing she could do.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she put me into a voice mail.  I left a voice mail (three times).  Called the Customer SErvice number again, and reach Erica Again.  I asked her to check the date my credit was processed.  She now says it never has been processed, and that she cannot process it. I asked for the corporate office address and phone number. She gave me Milinex Power Storm Vaccum, 20100 South Vermont Avenue, Torrance, CA  90502.  She did not have the phone number.  I guess I'll never see my money again, but I plan to pursue this with the FCC and FTC.

While watching the T.V. guide channel April 15th I was so excited when they began to show this infomercial about a vacuum, something I was in desperate need of, so when the show was over is ordered this fabulous machine. I went through the automated phone process and agreed to a $120 charge for 2 vacuums at the price of one. On the 20th when I went to my bank, they informed me that I had been overdrafted. I had $172 in my account when they charged me $313.70. $135 in overdraft plus a $30 charge for the overdraft. Then my fitness club tried to get their $25.50 for there monthly charge and there is another $30 charge. This happened 4 times. Now I am in the rears for $433.70 because of this scam. I will be contacting the attorney general.

I usually check things out on the web before i order them. This time, i am sorry to say that i didnt. I've been needing a new vac for so long and i loved what i saw on the informercial for the Storm Vacs, so I ordered. Today, Monday, I rememebered I wanted to check it out online. I read all your complaints on this site and started to freak out so I called the customer service number. After holding for 9 MINS i was HUNG UP ON! Then called back, I was told the 'system' was down and i would need to wait for 2 days and call back. Well I waited for 10 Mins and decided that was not a good idea and I called back again. I got the SAME person, she gave me another # to call because she said i am not in her system yet (wait- i thought the system was down??). So i called that # and its NO good! its doesnt work! So i called back to CS again and the SAME girl answered. I told her she have me a bad #. She said there was nothing she could do for me and if i didnt want the items, the only way to TRY get out of it was to dispute the bank charges. WHICH i PLAN TO DO!! Done even try to buy this item!! this company is nothing but a huge CROOK!

First, I want to say a big THANK YOU to Justin Leonard for this site. I wish knew about it before my involvement with IGIA. I originally posted my story on this site on 01/14/2006 (please refer to this on Page 1). To sum it up, six months later I am out of $259.14 and I never received my products (NOR DO I WANT TO ). This post is just to let everyone know I still have had no response or delivered Vac's from IGIA or any refund of monies. This all started when I did an online purchase from millinex.com, after viewing the infomercial. It is now six months later and "I can't get no, Satisfaction" (or products which I no longer want)! PLEASE, PLEASE, do not ever buy anything from this SCAMMING, so-called company...ever! Use this website as you use your dictionary for reference. Listen to what everyone is saying....It is the absolute truth. Research .... and LISTEN!!! I am trying to have my money refunded from my bank, but this too is doubtful since I used a Debit Card instead of a Credit Card (they still are allowing me to file a Dispute Form). I am reporting IGIA and "Millinex Power Storm" to all the resources I can think of; BBB (both New York & California), The Fair Trade Commission, Attorney General, Local Police Dept. and my local Media's Consumer Fraud Dept. I don't know if anything will come from all this but I do hope I can stop at least one person from making the same mistake as I and so many others. Does anyone think it is fair that WE are the ones that have to take the time to answer all the questions, fill out all the forms and do all the "legwork" while IGIA's CEO's are probably on vacation (using our money), in Maui?"I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE". If we all stick together & fight this "Company" (I should say "Companies"), file the complaints and do the "Legwork", we can and will help others. These people have to be stopped! Note to Yevgeniy from Millinex (please read the ONLY Defense Post), BULL....!

I ordered the vaccum in april this year. They said the was going to take out installments of $39.99 a month for three months plus shipping and handling. They took out $139.99 the first time plus $216.00. I called them and they were suppose to refund my money (per supervisor) but instead took out another $136.99. I was told now that the supervisor was on vacation and was hung up on. I am now at a loss as to how to get my money back!!!!
