Ok...sent the PressaBella back according to the directions they gave me on the phone. Saw the credit on my bank statement very quickly. Of course I wasn't refunded the $20 they charged to ship it to me, and it cost me a little over $8 to send it back (only $8 for priority mail with delivery certification)...so even the $20 they charged me for shipping was a rip off. All in all, ordering this has cost me nearly $30 plus time and gas money running it to the post office. I wish there was a way to warn people about this product BEFORE they buy one, so they don't wind up screwed like the rest of us here.

This is the worst iron I have ever had. And have no phone # to call. Does anyone have one? I will send mine back. It takes me twice as long to iron and water comes out the holes it also keeps going off and on. Not a good product.

Wish I had know about this site QIV'07...after several attempts to use the iron as advertised, I sold it for $5 at a yard sale. A true scam--it does not work as shown on TV--in fact, it does not work as regular iron either. Guess you could scald yourself if you are not very careful!!!

I have called the company and spent time on hold until I spoke with an actual human regarding the faulty cap. She was so nice and willing to refund the price, I think, but I was still a believer, and thought that merely replacing the cap with the "new redesigned" one would solve my problem. I have received two notifications that the cap is on back order and am still waiting. I now realize the scam they are running and regret the purchase, but it looks so effective in the infomercial... I was duped for sure!

Junk. Wish I'd have found this web site before ordering. Broke during the first use. I'm going to send it back. I hope to see a credit to my Master Card very quickly. Can anyone tell me if they've had problems with their return of the product?

Ditto. this is a big hunk of yellow junk. I burned myself twice, dribbled pools of water onto my garment and blew the circuit breaker in the process. Unfortunately this was a gift from a friend who bought it for me after I gushed about the infommercial(I usually never watch them but in a weak moment I was taken in by some of the best actors(con-artists)going. Does anyone know if it is possible to return this monstrosity successfully?

I saw the infomercial on Channel 22 December 12th. 2007. It looked like a good item to have. What made it even more interesting is that if you wre to call immediately, you paid 2 payments of $ 39.95 INSTEAD of 3 payments. I called and chaged this purchase to mmy Visa card. Got the item O.K. but upon receipt of my Visa statement, noticed that I was charged $ 155.53 instead of the suggested cost of $ 79.90. This is FRAUD nd these people are CON-ARTISTS. Watch out for them they will take your money and send you a product that is not all that great

I knew when I didn't get an invoice in the box with my purchase I got an ugly feeling. I had to search the internet for phone numbers. I appreciate this blog. After reading everyone’s story, I realized what I needed to do to return it. Thank you for taking the time to help others. It didn't go unnoticed. It is a Dangerous product. This is why I am returning it. When a company only can take your calls M-F it is not a company that cares for the consumers.

This product is a complete scam. I saw the infomercial, which impressed me, but too expensive. Got it new [] for a fraction of the price but even at $5, it still would have been a complete ripoff. The main reason I wanted a new iron is b/c my old steam iron occasionally dribbles water, a fatal offense for delicate fabrics. By comparison, the Bella Pressa shoots out clouds of useless steam and spews out spatters and puddles of boiling water onto your garment. It does this unpredictably at the correct temps. and settings, with the steam cap fully tightened. I had such high hopes for this iron, I did extensive tests of a variety of fabrics and articles of clothing, including hanging clothes. It failed everything to an unbelievable extent. There was not one task or type of ironing that was not much more difficult and time-consuming to do with this iron. In many cases, wrinkles could simply NOT be removed at all. I could elaborate at great length the numerous failings of the Bella Pressa but others have said a lot already and I don't want to waste more time on this worthless iron. I am writing because I am appalled at the atrocious performance of this expensive product and in hopes that others will be spared. For this reason, I plan to write a Review for []. I'm curious about how long this product has been on the market and whether [] has tested or reported on it yet. For the record, I will briefly report the following. The reason the iron 'won't scorch' according to its promo, is that it is not hot enough to effectively iron. I only tested silk (as shown in the infomercial) at 'Silk' setting. (My old iron didn't scorch after 90 sec. on 'Silk' either.) The temp. in all settings is way below that of a normal iron. The steam IS somehow different from what Pressa Bella calls 'wet steam' (ordinary steam). It lasts a nano-second in the fabric, then is gone. Even when you manage to get the iron on the fabric in time, it is minimally effective. Turning the iron to higher temps. helps slightly but also leads to 'iron shine.' The best it can do is ironing cotton all the way up on 'Linen.' At this setting it is capable of leaving iron marks but incapable of pressing a good crease on a pr. of trousers. It is barely possible to regulate the copious steam, you cannot target smaller areas, there is no water gauge, and the water runs out repeatedly with a long delay to cool, fill & reheat. This is to say nothing of extra electricity and a distilled bottled-water bill estimated at 10-15 times that of normal. If I hadn't read these reviews I would not have realized that the outfit selling this on TV is clearly dishonest and that many others have found the iron COMPLETELY UNSATISFACTORY. I certainly would have known, however, that almost none of the claims made in the infomercial are true. Kind reader, if you have made it thru this review and have not already bot. a Bella Pressa, I am confident you will not be the next victim.

I am on my second Pressa Bella and am having the same problem with the iron - as all of the others have articulated. On both the knob has broken rendering it pretty much useless. This has been a very costly mis-judgement.

I am so glad to see that I am not the only person having problems with the Pressa Bella Dry Steam Iron. I thought it was just me, but every complaint that I have read is exactly the problems that I am having with my iron. Not only does it not get the wrinkles out and spew water all over your garment when you try to use the steam, but the handle gets too warm. I am very disappointed in this product and wish that I had never bought it. It is nothing but a rip off. I arranged to make the monthly payments on my credit card, and instead the whole amount was taken out the first payment. I hope that I am finished with them. I agree that a class action law suit should be brought against this company. It is a good looking iron, but that is all. By the time I get through steaming what I am trying to iron, I have to actually put the garment in my dryer to dry up all the water left from the so called "dry steam". Okay, lesson learned, just another ripoff!!

The iron is a scam! Does not heat properly on soleplate; steam limited. Does anyone know how I can return this, sent without a return address. Attempted toll-free number, was trapped in automation hell for 40 minutes and I gave up.

My wife saw the Pressa Bella advertised on an Infomercial. She wanted one for Christmas. I ordered online, without researching (something I've NEVER done before), and I'm sorry I didn't. After reading some of the other comments, I'm glad I just paid one complete charge of $107.00 (so far, I'll keep checking with my CC Co). Needless to say my wife was not happy with this irons poor performance. It just doesn't press, iron or steam as advertised. Made in China not Italy. And it's too complicated and time consuming to operate. I did call the 800 Customer Service number I found on their website. First Cedrick asked if I had the original box. Yes I do. He said just ship it back USPS (I pay charges) with Delivery Confirmation. That's it. No RMA number, nothing...and put a note in the box with your name and address. Then I called again. Linda asked if I had the original box...yes. Original shipping label? Yes. Then just ship it to 300 Returns Road. Wallingford, CT. 06493 Again I asked if they issue an RMA number? No. Do I put my name and address inside the box? No. Also she didn't mention the USPS or Delivery Conformation Service. I printed up the original invoice with the original order number (part of my conformation via email), and put it in the box anyway. I'll ship it back then keep an eye on my CC. This is first and last time I (or my wife) will order anything advertised in an Infomercial.

I readilty read the instructions & the following day I tried to use it but itsd no good the wrinkles is still there & the steam is not working they say its a dry steam but its the water that is coming out and the soleplate is not heating. so I told my husband that we should returned it to get our money back but the sad thing is there is no phone no,& address that we can send the product and they charged us for 1st payment $76.44 and we still have a balnce for the 2nd payment. Hope you can help us to return our money back.

I purchased a pressa bella and I have had all the problems everyone else has, sole plate not heating, water dripping, all the caps they have sent me has been defective. Upon arrival. I have to give it to the company, they have done all they can to make right the problems. But, the product is really a big problem, and it was adevrtise incorrectly, I have made inquries thru the attorney general office as to what they can do to stop such advetisement and return funds many have spent on this product.

I purchased from [] b/c I thought they were reputable. The iron is a PAIN to use. It is frustrating to hold, it drips HOT water, the steam is not "dry" and it is so difficult to use. It is so heavy. Worst of all the wrinkles never press out of anything and the iron just seems to get hotter and hotter. It is a joke. The promos used are insulting in that they lead you to believe it is a product from Italy but is actually made in China. As American consumers we all need to WAKE UP about what we buy and where it comes from. We all work hard for our money and this purchase was certainly a waste of my money!

I let myself get suckered into trying tyis product in July 07 based on their money-back "guarantee". I absolutely hated it. It did not perform as advertised. Worse yet I was given no packing slip, no invoice, no phone number and no address for return. I looken on line and found nothing but their order line. I called CT information for a phone number for the address on the package: none listed. I mailed it back anyway and tracked the receipt of the package. Now I'm fighting with my credit card company to get the charge off my bill. Help!

I am really glad I found this website, or I would not have known the phone number to call to try to return this defective merchandise! Unfortunately I had no access to a computer when I succumbed to the infomercial and ordered the thing. I called the number, and they were really nice - lets see how my credit card statement is charged. But clearly, the product that is shown on TV is very different from this; if I had known it was made in China instead of in Italy, as the ad said, I would never have purchased it. Like everyone else's, mine sprayed & dripped hot water, and it was nearly impossible to get just plain steam. Certainly not like the great bursts of steam that they showed on the infomercial. I could live with it being so heavy and unwieldy if it worked the way it was supposed to, but I ruined two shirts with the boiling hot water.
