I am really glad I found this website, or I would not have known the phone number to call to try to return this defective merchandise! Unfortunately I had no access to a computer when I succumbed to the infomercial and ordered the thing. I called the number, and they were really nice - lets see how my credit card statement is charged. But clearly, the product that is shown on TV is very different from this; if I had known it was made in China instead of in Italy, as the ad said, I would never have purchased it. Like everyone else's, mine sprayed & dripped hot water, and it was nearly impossible to get just plain steam. Certainly not like the great bursts of steam that they showed on the infomercial. I could live with it being so heavy and unwieldy if it worked the way it was supposed to, but I ruined two shirts with the boiling hot water.

First of all I order 1 pressa Bella they send me 2. I cannot open the area for the water to go in and If am going to steam dry I need to put water into the iron. The plug for the travel do not fit any regular socket

Thank You, frustated Liz with putting the company tele #. Not only is this iron costly, I also rec'd 2 irons even though I only ordered one. There was no info in the box who to contact in order to return. All other irons I had were must easier to use. The next one I purchase, I will buy in the store. I will no longer watch infomericals. I am returning the irons tomorrow, will let you know how I make out with the credit to my account. Ellen from Long Island

The yellow cap and the items that screw into it came completely apart after using this product five or six times. I contacted [] where I bought the Pressa Bella iron and was told that they had no information on product guarantees, customer service numbers, etc. They also informed that they are no longer promoting this product. Then I researched on line to find a contact number (1-800-648-8891).Tiffany (service department) was very rude but finally connected me to a supervisor's phone message line. I am still waitng for her to call back. End of story...I have an iron with broken parts,I have to watch the commercial on T.V. at least once a day to remind me that I am out a lot of money, and I am just a LITTLE frustrated. Liz

I just recieved this product in the mail and the steam cap won't come off it's like it is jamed. There is no number to call back and there is no bill and the numbers that you call don't even help you at all.

When I saw the commercial I get impressed and decided to buy one. Thanks God I boutht it [], so it cost me just a portion of what other buyers are paying for it. This is very dissapointed because I spend more time filling the iron with water, that is just a little bit. It just give me time to iron 3 pieces not more, with my regular iron I ironed around 10 and was greater than this. Other Fact is that this iron weight a lot, much more than the regular one. I am so upset because I throw away my old iron which I miss a lot. This heavy weight iron does not worked like the commercial said and obviously it is a scam!

I purchased this via an automated phone service. It took about a month to arrive. It had no return information or any phone number to call about problems. I searched the web and found this site. I called the number on my credit card report 1-800-528-4800 and reached a rep who asked me to put my address and a 17 digit order number on it an ship it back to the return address at my expense. He also told me they would refund all but 59.80 (shipping & handling) of the 239.00 they charged me. I told him this was lousy service. But they refused to refund the S&H. I read the directions and tried going by them several times. no matter how hot the Iron is it still sprays A LOT of water!!! I bought the extra one for my mother thinking it would be a great gift. The Mini one doest even spray steam when you push the button. There is a rubber lid you can press that creates a small puff by forcing pressure in the holding tank. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! And they call it a DRY STEAMER!! Worst I have ever seen. Sick that they can do business!!! I wish I had searched online first. I called my credit card company to inform them adn dispute this charge. They are acting on my behalf. I am having to pay almost 100.00 in shipping only for an inconvienence. I told the guy on the phone this and he said at least it wasnt for nothing??!! What lovely customer service. His name is Vass operator # 391

The Pressa Bella Iron is totally worthles, and to me it looks like a scam. I called the company and asked to return the iron and the lady answering was not friendly at all. They dont pay for shipping and it take 10 weeks to get reinbursed. The Iron should not be allowed for use because it is actually dangerous. Read all warnings and make sure that children are not around. I got burned from steam and the clothing stays wrinkled and the water last for a short while. To iron a shirt took 20 minutes, and I had to fill water 3 times. The shirt is still wrinkled. Worst iron ever made and sold. Hope it can be stopped on the market and a class action lawsuit would be in place here. Keep fighting.

I just received by normal postal delivery today 3 irons -- which I did not order. I ordered 1 pressa bella and the mini iron only and have been charged on my credit card statement $309.25! I am steaming angry because there is no one that you can speak with at their 18009601625 telephone number to complain. I googled for info and saw this site. I will be returning all of the irons tomorrow and if I do not receive my refunds in a timely manner, without charges asscociated with the 3rd iron -- I will continue to a pressa bella "pain in the you know where" until I do. After reading your complaints - I have no intention in trying their product -- especially after they have misshipped my order and have charged my credit card -- not for two payments of 39.95 totalling 78.90 and the addition handling charges of 19.95 and 9.95 for the mini -- but a whopping 199.45 over the costs for the one pressa bella iron and the mini of 109.80!!!

Ditto the other complaints. I have a burn on my hand from the iron spitting out boiling water when it is turned from the upright to the ironing position. It runs out of water too fast, wets the clothing instead of steaming it, takes forever to heat up. Don't buy it.

This iron was an expensive rip-off. It doesn't iron well - even with the steam on as shown on TV. The steam cap is now stucik on the iron and won't come off. When it did work correctly it needed to be filled repeatedly. I've only had the iron a couple months and hate it. I'm a bit of an ironing fanatic and am exptremelhy disappointed in this iron. Wish I'd never bought it. The entire ad was bogus information.

I purchased the pressa bella about 4 months ago. I tried using it several times to no avail. I kept thinking, it must be me doing something wrong. I would read the directions over and over and try again. It's like everyone says. Water drips from the bottom of the iron. It would have to refilled after one piece of clothes.Definitely a big waste of money. My total charges were $179. I never bothered to try the mini iron. I wish I wold have found this site before I purchased this iron. I look more closely before I buy from infomercials now.

8/5/2007 - Sherry writes:
First, it doesn press well....... however, you must refill the iron at least 3 or more times just to complete one item. And, you are supposed to unplug and wait too long just to fill and plug it in again. Way too much time. I tried to cancel the order and not take the small iron but there was no human to talk to. Then, when I returned it, this is where the rip off is. $30.00 is non refundable for S&H. I will NEVER buy from an infomercial again.

I bought the Iron to Iron and Steam my Clothes-NOT MY LEG!! My left lower leg got boiled and steamed. I had 2nd degree burns, alot of pain and alot of grief. Explained to them the unit is defective- I was ironing-the iron was on the left side of the iron board.I put water in the iron as per directions, then pushed the button for the steam to work. I was preparing my blouse on my iron borad to be steamed. All of a sudden I here a sssissss sound then spurt spurt-In a quick moment I saw steam and hot boiling water spurting out of the recepticle where you place the water (in and the yellow cap which was on properly tightened as per operating instructions) My Son yelled "watch out mom"-the iron fell off the left side of the board onto the floor steaming and spurting and signifigantely burning my left lower leg- My left lower leg got boiled and steamed almost all the way around the leg. I am now SCARRED for life! When the unit was sent to me in June there was No Invoice, no customer service number, no return address- I kept everything, even the box it came in. I finally found the credit card info it was put on and the 800 number given was Bogus and I got nowhere with it. After much investigation on the net I finally found a customer servise number- I will say the Rep was very helpful and understanding, said I would get a full refund- Still waiting!!!!

I ordered 1 pressa bella by telephone. I received 2 irons. i had a bill of 179.00 and still more was to be added.I was furious that i would have to pay to ship it back. The company after numerous phone calls said I would be credited when they rec, the iron. I have now tried the iron I ordered and it is a piece of junk.It won't stay hot enough to iron a shirt. It took me longer to iron 1 item then it ever has. The steam iron was awful spit water all over my pants and shirt. The little iron stays hot but dosen't even steam at all.Thank goodness its free. I wish I would have found this site before I ordered that iron. []

I purchased the Pressa Bella Dry Steam Iron and paid over 107.00 for it. What an extreme disappointment. The iron only spits giant wads of water out of it - and I found this out AFTER I tried to use it on my nice new silk blouse. It says it is a dry steam iron, I learned the hard way that all steam is water evaporating - so there is no such thing as dry steam. I called customer service and got someone who hardly understood me, I was asking what the problem was, they told me I had to let it warm up for 10 minutes before the steam worked properly. I hung up ready to try that. Then I remembered I spent EXTRA for the deluxe model (I don't think there are really two models because the one I got doesn't say DELUXE on it anywhere) which has an auto shutoff. So I called back, asking how long the iron takes to automatically shut off - I was told 9 minutes. When I told them what I had been told earlier about the steam not working until it has heated up for 10 minutes they indicated that I must have gotten a faulty iron and they would send me a check which I could use to return the iron to them and they would send me a new one. That was over a month ago. Since I had to iron something that as NOT going to be damaged by water I decided to give the iron another shot. I left the iron on and got busy - only to come back after 15 minutes to find the iron still on (my theory about no two types must be correct - or they charged me for the deluxe and sent the regular one) I used it and it did not remove wrinkles unless I pushed down really hard. Then when the steam ran out (which happened really fast) I released the tension/vapor lock and tried to open the cover to put more water in - the thing broke apart in my hand. Then today I saw a charge for another 39.95 on my checking account from Pressa Bella so I called them back again. They indicated that this was the remaining balance I owed them - I was never told this would be in two payments and do not believe I owed them anything additional. When I asked about the money they were to send me so I could return the iron they said we "credited your account" - I told them I wanted to simply return the machine and get a full credit because I was not impressed. We will see if they will give that to me when I return the iron tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

I recently saw an add on T.V. for the Pressa Bella. I thought WOW, I have to get this. What a mistake!! It does nothing the add says it does. The steam lasts for about twenty seconds, if that and you spend more time filling it with water than anything else. It does not get the wrinkles out of anything. All it does is spit water. I received the mini Pressa Bella that was to work like the big one. What a joke. The mini one does not even steam. On the add they claim this is made in Italy. It's made in Japan. It says so right n the box. When you call to order you have to listen to almost an hour of advertising, before you can even place your order. I have never been so ripped off in all my life. Please stay away from this scam.

I tried the iron which did not remove wrinkles. It only spit water all over my garment. I followed all directions numerous times, yet the product never worked. I spent five dollars to send it back. When they refunded my money, they kept $20.00 which was listed as a shipping and handling charge. So I am out a total of 25.00 for trying a product which I believe was not designed to work. If every person returns the product, and Pressa Bella keeps the shipping and handling charges,(it doesn't cost them $20.00 to mail each of them)they stand to make a fortune. They also claim that the iron is an Italian product, yet on the iron it states: made in China. This is a total scam from the get go.

I agree that the product is way overpriced and that the automated phone ordering system hides the shipping charge. I ordered 4 irons 3 days before Mother's Day, and received them 1 day before Mother's Day .... in time, thankfully, to try one out before giving them as gifts. The steam included water which wet the garment, and the "steam lid" was difficult to remove. I called PressaBella (1-800-648-8891)and was courteously advised of price breakdown and return shipping instructions. I immediately sent all 4 irons back by UP (and kept the UP tracking number). After UP notified me (by e-mail) that the return package had been received by PressaBella, I once again called 1-800-648-8891)and was again courtesly advised (after they confirmed the UP tracking number) that they would send a return statement to my credit card company....and they did....for not only the merchandise but for the S&H charge as well. Not a good product, but very nice people in Customer Service (1-800-648-8891).

this product is pure garbage, and the company uses legalized extortion. the infomercial states purchase one iron and get a travel iron free. this was never honored, when i called to place the order the customer service rep. offered to split the payment, never stating when they do this they don't send the travel iron. when i called to checked they said it was because i split the payment. then when i returned the trash they sent i was charged $40, for shipping the irons back to the company. i paid $25 to ship the irons back to them, with insurance and tracking. it's just one scam after another, don't buy this product or deal with this company.
