well me and my fiance purchased the system because we saw RED on tv so we called 1x. Next thing i know RED called us about 20X's from different #'s private, unavailable, you name it. We had a very sweet talking rep who assured us that it will work hassle free and if we wasnt satisfied we had 90 days .... so she said. After a month it broke didnt work and we called and complained they said they will send us another one so dont pay 1st payment til i recieved new one and then send the old one back... why did i trust that of course never recieved new one and 2 weeks later i get a suprise draft in my checking acct from you guessed it fraud RED themselves complained about it and they told me basically oh well i was giving wrong info and they hung up on me... great customer service right.. yeah right. Well 2 weeks later another suprise payment comes out now mind you the RED doesnt work and screws came out so i cant use it and they knew this still didnt recieve the one i was promised so another overdraft hit my acct because the date they took out the money wasnt the correct date. So it hit the fans now im -142.00 in my bank acct so i call 888-424-7623 and i have never been talked to that way in my life by a suppose to be customer service agent.. he said again oh well they can do what they want i told him do not go back in my acct that way because it is not the authorized sate i signed up for he said he will go in it now if he likes and take the remaining i said well im not due until jan he said dont matter if you cant pay balance now im going to take it i said no you wont because theres nothing there you wiped me out i demanded a sup she was just as rude as he was and told me she will take it out since i told her my acct has no money in it and that i cant pay with that card i told her i will mail in the money order for the amount she said that will be fine but im going to charge your card anyway because i believe its money there i told her it wasnt she said she could do it because 3 payment of the 33 dollars was a courtesy she can take the whole payment if she likes i got very upset again and told her im not due yet she begin yelling and hung up. I called back and spoke with another rep and she said RED can do what they want and this time i recorded her statement i plan to file a legal suit against RED for misrepresenting a product , unauthorized use, and fraud. Thanks for reading my story

I called in 4 times about this and was told that ups lost the product, after speaking with them they said the only thing that they had shipped me was the arm part, but the red exerc. customer service said that it would be taken care of, not too worry. today i spoke with joe l. at ext. 206 ,he said i'd get a full refund in 3-5 bus. days, hope i do , but won't hold my breath, if i get the refund i'll let everyone know. this is the # to call 713-532-2408

I purchased this product fom an infomercial!!!!!they told me it will be 14.99 plus shipping and handling!!! They charged $60 dollars to my account!!!The infomercial stated that this product can't be purchased anywhere else and they made it seem affordable!!! After recieving the product, i was told that i have 4 more payments of $50....!!!! i tried to return it before my 30 day period and they refuse to accept it!!!!! Now im seeing this product all over for as low as $79!!! how insane?!!!

Purchawed the Red Exerciser from the Infomercial on 4/18/07 and received it right away and semt the rquired info for the $50.00 rebate on 4/25/07. As of 11/26/07 (7 months later), I have not received the $50 Rebate! I called 7/9/07 and was advised in 2-3 weeks. Called 10/11/07 and was advised I would be in the November payments. Called 11/26/07 and was advised in would be the 1st week of December that the check would be going out. What can I do?

Don't buy anything from this company, they are not honorable! The infomcerial made it seem affordable, but once I called, I discovered that it was more than expected. I tried it anyway along with the arm section for a total of $224.55, they paid the shiping. I received the DX, the LX can be purchased in many places for $100. I tried returning it via UPS, I paid the shipping charge, but they REFUSED to accept it twice! UPS said that they have a lot of problems with this company.

I ordered this product back in May thinking I had purchased the regular chair for $100 +. Instead the last payment was charged against me yesterday for a total of $273. What a blatant rip-off. The same thing can be ordered [] for around $50. I am in the process of trying to return it (unused) for a full refund. I don't expect any miracles in that area, but I surely hope enough people read the horror stories to stop buying this product!! I have tried for months to contact them, and finally reached a live person just yesterday. The bad thing is that at the time I ordered this, I was unemployed (with some money in the bank) and thought I could afford the $100 product. Almost $300 later, I've now incurred ridiculous bank fees, and have gotten behind in more important bills, because I was not expecting this charge each month. This was definitely not a smart purchase on my part, but I also feel like I really got scammed by these idiots.

I am complaining because I sent the 50.00 rebate and never received. When I called I was treated horrible, told to call back several times, (cell phone records to prove calls) and then was told I would be called but never was. Don't offer a rebate. Just make right in the sale and there wouldn't be complaints. Appears as a scam to me.

I ordered the Red Exerciser and they said I would lose 4 inches in two weeks. I lost the 4 inches in my waist. Well they didn't say my arms would get firmer. I think it is false advertising to just mention the waist. If I had wanted firmer arms I would have ordered a product dedicated to firming the arms. I called customer service demanding my money back and they said I could send it back for a full refund. They were so "nice". Who do they think they are fooling. I demanded a supervisor who was actually happy to hear my arms had gotten firmer. How rude. If anyone else has had this problem, let me know. They shouldn't be able to get away this.

I had a horrendous experience with this Red Fitness this morning. The firm, under their supervisor Susan Spratley is despicable, I am working on going up the food chain. So far, I believe that Red Fitness is affiliated with Donnie Chang/Vivian Chang of the ABC Advisors (American Born Chinese Advisors.) Any of you technoweenies out there.....can you help the rest of us figure this out? Thank you.

My mother ordered this product in Feburary 2007, she was told she would receive a 50.00 rebate which she did not receive and that the first payment would be including shipping and then there would be 3 add payments of 39.00 each which should have paid for this junk in June of this year it is now the middle of Oct. 2007 and she is still having this amount on her Discover card, she has paid for the junk at least twice. As one other letter said we have no paper work or phone number to try to call anyone, her credit card company is in the process of trying to help her get this stopped. My mother is almost 80yrs old and she does not think about someone trying to cheat her, she is very trusting which was her first mistake with this company. if she has to she will cancel her credit card just to keep them from charging anything else to it, so i am sure her credit card comp will try to help her since they do not want this card stopped. She has learned a very valuable lesson about ordering anything from TV.

We ordered the Red Fitness Exerciser and decided to send it back on Sept 10, 07. The UPS tracking showed they received it on Sept 13, 07. It is Oct. 20th and have not yet received any credit. Checked with the credit card company it was charged to and they said all credits are to be applied within 15 days of the company receiving the product back. The credit card company immediately put the charge in dispute, gave us a temporary credit and said the company had 23 days from that time to give us a credit. The credit card company will deal with Red Fitness. We did not even bother with the Red Fitness Company after reading all the problems others are having with the company.

HORRIBLE!!!! RED started falling apart during my first workout! Poor quality, over-priced, and I felt no muscles engage while working out. I got more of a workout doing sit-ups. It didn't even feel like it was working. Plus, the workout video looks very unprofessional. The man in the workout video calls the erector spinae muscles the "erectus spinae." He even at one point refers to RED as the bike.

I called their toll free number after seeing that bait and switch false advertised infomercial. I was expecting the chair for the $14.95 as advertised. I made sure to look very closely to see if there was any hard to see info that would indicate more money. nothing so i called and the quick taling sales person blew right by my question after she announced 4 more payments. the 14.95 was suppose to come with 2 or 3 videos and set of pullies. I asked to speak to supervisor, someone else got on, eventually she said she would have a manager call me, she gave me her mord. This is consumer fraud, i would like their toll free number if anyoe has it, but it looks like they have had many complaints. so many dishonest people, i want to report them to consumer affairs. is this also wire fraud? hmmm.

I purchased the Red exerciser and the Arm addition on 06/25/07, paid $232.55, thinking I had done a great thing. My purchase price included $12 for rush delivery. I waited and waited, finally it arrived, or I should say that half of it arrived 16 days later. I immediately called the company and told them that I only received half, that the Arm portion was missing and they said that they had a backlog of orders and it would be out soon. I said I wanted half of the $12 rush delivery back since I only received half of the product. They agreed and credited me $6 on 07/11/07. I opened the product and realized it was a big joke, like one of your other people wrote, like sitting on a bar stool and alot cheaper. The DVD worked okay, but I was not pleased. I called for a Return Authorization Number and was told to wait until the Arm portion arrived and return them together since I purchased them together. I did that, I returned both packages on 07/11/07, and thank God I used the post office's delivery confirmation and insurance. It cost a little extra, but it was worth it. They received the packages on 08/03/07 @ 15:07 based on my delivery confirmation tracking number. I gave them until the end of the month 08/30/07 to credit my account, to no avail. I spoke to Gladys on 08/30/07. The first thing she told me was that they had credited me for the Arm portion of the order which was $35.80 because, that was all they received. I told her that was impossible since the boxes were taped together by the postal service as we were instructed to do. She did some more research and said, oh yes we have it all and will get you the rest of your credit of $184.75 within 72 hours. I was pleased. They refused to credit the remaining $6 for the rush delivery, but I was just glad to hear that I was getting the rest of my money. I waited, and waited and waited. By 09/06/07 I still had no credit for the remaining $184.75, so I called the customer service number 888-424-7623. I spoke to Joel and it started all over again, they only received the Arm portion, they didn't have a delivery confirmation #, etc., etc.,; so I went through the whole process again and miraculously enough, they found all the information and confirmed that everything had been returned and I would be getting my $184.75 credit within 72 hours. I said thanks and hung up the phone. The waiting game begins again. On 10/04/07 I called inquiring about my credit and I spoke to a most hateful person named Cathy, supposedly they person who handles the credits. Again, they have on record of my return and by this point I am livid. I immediately ask to speak with a supervisor and she refused. She finally said okay and asked me to hold, she left for a few minutes and came back and said that there were no supervisors available, but that the supervisor said this is what she should do. The conversation continued with me getting more and more upset, because I felt like I was having Dejavu all over again, or that I was like Bill Murray in Ground Hog Day. Anyway, she finally acknowledged that everything had been returned, and I would get my credit within 72 hours. I asked if she could guarantee that and she said yes, because she had done it and that everything was in the computer this time, and it hadn't been in the past. I hung up, then I called back to customer service, got a different person named Jessie and verified that my information was in fact entered into the computer and it was. So I waited again for them to issue my credit. It is now 10/11/07 and I still don't have credit for a product that I returned on 07/16 and they received on 08/03. So I tried something different, I called my credit card company and gave them the whole long drawn out story. I was told that a credit would be issued today for the $184.75 and that they (the credit card company) would just reverse the charges and take the money from the merchant (Red Fitness). How cool is that. I advisor told me that each merchant and credit card company has strict guidelines imposed on them be Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Discover and that they have 30 in which to issue credit to consumers (me and you) and when they don't do that they can get in big trouble. My advise to those still in waiting for a return like me is to call your credit card company and report them, just like I did. Good Luck...

When i ordered the Red exercise machine I asked many questions. I have back and neck injuries. No problem I was told. Also you can't purchase this machine anywhere. I called my Dr. and was told to cancel and that they should advise people to ask first if it is safe for them to use. They still insisted it is safe and then I was told well they are sales people. I also said I saw it being sold for $96.00 a a store nearby. I never even opened the box. They said I had to accept the package then call for a return# and then I had to put it inside the box and also on the outside big in black marker. Oh & I would be paying for the return of the package. What a rip off and I don't even want to know what is on the inside of the box, because the company is not honest. I feel sorry for the public who fall for their dishonesty. I was assured if would be returned by the 12th of Oct. because they told me it had to be back by the 22nd. or I would also be charged for a reshelfing fee. I wonder what kind of fight I'm going to have to get my money back. Well I'm ready to fight. I paid $214.00 forthe same product at the store for $96.00 What a scam they have going. Thank you!

The resistance knob does absolutely nothing. You get the same exercise & resistance from sitting on a bar stool and rotating back and forth....and much cheaper. Don't waste your money.

I bought the exerciser way back in april the beginning of the month--received it in may the end of the month.--you are right the DVD does not work I thought it was something wrong with my player--but I tried it on several--also I did not get any screws. I mailed everything required for a $50.00 rebate. I sent it registered mail which ended up costing me another 11.00. But I wanted proof that they got this. I got the receipt in june. I called them several times asking about my rebate--they assured me that I would get it in two weeks. Well here it is the end of september 2007 and I still don't have my rebate. I guess they feel they can lie to people and send incomplete equipment and that's our problem. Unfortunely we are way too honest for this type of company. You can be assured that I will tell all of my friends not to order anything from them.

I ordered red exerciser months ago. I received a partial package and few weeks later the rest meaning the arm exerciser. By June 29, 2007 I called and spoke to Trina needed screws because apparently the ones I got were stripped. "I will send it out right away, call me when you get them." Well its September 20,2007 and no screws. So I called and guess what the same girl answered the phone, Trina, told her I am getting ready to report them and she said, "Gladys is sending them out today." I said I will give you til next Thursday(7days to reach me)Not sure if I am scammed yet but wish I had the interest on the money I paid as opposing to the months of waiting unable to try the product out. Bet if they had to pay interest you all would get your exercisers right away. I will keep an update on my progress as if my life isn't already busy enough. Good luck everyone.

I purchased RedExerciser DX. PROBLEM: The DVD is damaged or maybe blank -- it will not play. It tried to read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read (etc.) but would not start or display a menu or anything at all -- nothing! I tried it on three different DVD players, all of which work OK, but none will play the DVD. There doesn't seem to be any physical damage like scratches or smudges -- I think the disc must be empty, or at least defective. I sent an email a week ago (explaining the above) to: help@redexerciser.com but they did not respond to me. Then I phoned 888-424-7623 and spoke with Chris. He refused to help me unless I purchased from him (and I did not - I purchased from another of the many websites selling this item). I mistakenly thought this redexerciser.com was the manufacturer's website but apparently it is NOT - Chris's response indicates they are private resellers who do not support RedExerciser customers unless those customers purchased through them.
