If she is truly an attorney -- you should always check, especially someone on TV -- and has malpracticed your case, please report her to her state's State Bar. That is the very least. You could sue - probably as a class action - if she's insured. If not either of these cases, I guess you got a very expensive lesson in hiring attorneys.

My husband hired this pitiful firm after the infomercial enticed him to call so they could give him a consultation and later told him to send in $2000+ so they could help him out. They sent a fancy package later that had all of our financial information...stuff that we already new and did not need them to compile for us and not what my husband "hired" them to do. (All of my husband's tax issues were before our marriage.) Then they said sorry we can't settle anything but we can set up a payment plan with the IRS but they needed him to fill out a tax return for a few years back...another stalling tactic. They refused to work anymore to help my husband until he got the information. We later paid the IRS for the year they were requesting and still would not work on anything until we filed a tax return for something that had been paid already without their assistance whatsoever!!!! They are looking for a reason to send all their clients the letters saying that they have discontinued their services based on failure to communicate yet they will not answer the phone and will not return calls. I'm sure they've made this an exact science. Why would people call them to start with? When my husband finally did talk to them after the letter about discontinuing representation, they were very quick to lead him down the road of "you are firing us?" What the heck...they've got their money already. Listen people...whoever is thinking about calling these incompetent excuses for tax attorneys, they are bigger crooks than the IRS themselves. You are better off calling and trying to work something out with the IRS. You will not be out the fee these people charge for "helping you out" - what a joke!!!! Bottom line...this firm does false advertising just like the miraculous weight loss info-mercials that people fall for all the time. They probably can't even fill out a tax return much less settle anything with the big boys. I'm sure the IRS is well aware of this scam as well and I wish they would make a statement against them.

Luckily I came upon this site before going forward with using this service any further. I contacted them about 1 1/2 years ago to handle some back taxes. They referred me conveniently to their new Tax service. After an overly aggressive guy gave me a spiel on how they were new and how they would handle everything with very minimal involvement from me, I decided I would give it a shot. BTW the guy was very rude and would not let me get a word in edgewise. I payed them $175 and hired them to handle 1 year of my back taxes and then we would go on from there. So after a conference call to the IRS to obtain my info, I felt everything would be fine. a week goes by and I receive all of the IRS info in the mail which I was told to forward to RD tax service. I contacted the guy(he was the head guy also BTW)he stated he had no way to receive it by email yet cause they were so new. So anyway I faxed all the info to him. A few weeks later I get an envelope full of paperwork that I was supposed to fill out, which was actually more work than it would be to fill out my own return. So I angrily called to no avail Mr.R*** and he had voicemail saying he was sick then a few other excuses. Finally I had to move and it was put on the back burner due to frustration. After i moved all of a sudden 6 months later i get a letter stating that if I didnt respond to such and such that I would forfeit my rights to their service...again many calls I finally reached someone, new this time explained the situation and she said there were no notes and she needed all of my info again, so after blowing my fuse we commenced with calling 3 different IRS places wasting more of my valuable time and effort. Finally after the IRS would not cooperate she asked me a few questions and long story short it got handled finally after a year I had 1 years taxes done!!!!Never again will I use their services and I am thankful I read these complaints cause I had plans on using them to resolve my Taxes for so called pennies on the dollar! Save your time and money by finding someone with more credibility.

i hired the law office of roni deutch im2001 i payed them 3700 to get me an offer in compromise 2.5 years later i was notified by i.r.s. that the law office turned in an oboslet form i called the firm and they were very evasive about it then they turned in a form that was grosely under the i.r.s. guidelines.icalled the firm and proceded to complain about their incomptance and they lawyer i was talking to said if your that dissatisfied i will take that as you just fired this firm then he hung up the phone.i turned him into the attorney general in arizona they told me yes they were at fault and to get in touch with the state bar in california. i filed a complaint against roni dutches law firm. for sending in an obosolet form 656 and then sending in a form that was grosely under the i.r.s. guidelines both offers they turned in were declined i received a letter from the state bar of california that there was no wrong doing on the firms part i sent them another letter saying i guess its ok if the law firm files obosolete forms and forms that dont conform to the guidelines and then quit useing the excuse that they were fired as the state bar called it there was no ethical misconduct

I would like to add my opinion on the Tax Attorney scam being used by the company known as Roni Lynn Deutch. They have done nothing to stop a wage garnishment. They give me numerous letters daily asking me for the same information that I provided them with when my case started. $2800.00 later, nothing has been done to save me from my wages being garnished. Warning to all. Do not fall into their trap!!! I think that they are in cahoots with the IRS!!
