I bought Russ Dalby's Winning in the Cash Flow Business about 2 years ago. I found the material confusing and so difficult to understand. Now I keep getting emails saying I'm offered a special Rapid Results program, but they want me to pay $2,000-$5,000 for this program. It says they will let me set the budget and terms, but they really want more money from me. Mr. Dalby sells people a dream and hope for (I paid) $130.00; then he gives them confusing and incomplete directions (I got 3 CD's. Two were just people saying they made it rich in the business; they gave absolutely no techniques used or any other help, and the third cd doesn't even work - literally, it doesn't play in the cd player); the other materials I got were books supposedly showing how to make the deals, etc., and a video which was just a rehash of the infomercial; lastly Mr. Dalby's associates then call me repeatedly telling me that for me to cash in on the dream they sold me it would cost me additional thousands of dollars. Mr. Dalby, if I had thousands of dollars to throw away in the first place I wouldn't have been enticed into buying your program. When I call to ask about these special programs being offered I am rudely told that I shouldn't have even bothered calling unless I can pony up thousands of dollars and you are marking on my account that I have no monies to donate to your get rich fund. If your offer of help is so genuine... do it for free. Otherwise I don't see that you want anyone to be as successful as you.

I too have been taken by this crazy scam. Lucky for me I am only out of pocket $39. Once I received it and began going through it, I realized it was BS and 1 out of 10,000 might actually be able to use this. I contacted Kirsten Gum via email as I was shocked she would be a part of a scam like this. Of course I heard nothing. I then contacted the Better Business Bureau and after many weeks they finally refunded my money by reapplying the paid amount to my credit card. Do not settle, contact the BBB, file complaint, contact your local Representative or Congressman and let them know what is going on. Make copies of all of your letters, emails etc....and what ever you send, send a copy to Russ Dalbey too. It will be frustrating and time consuming. Make it happen and get your money back! Good Luck to everyone. It

I purchased this program a few years ago and spent a lot of time, energy and money in trying to make the program work. I hoped so much it would be different from all the other companies that are like it, but as I thought - Russ Dalby's program is also just a scam. Immediately I was being called to urged to purchase the mentor program "If I qualify". Well of course, I did qualify if I was stupid enough to invest several thousands of dollars. I thought that perhaps things would be different a few years later, and after re-investing in their supposedly new & improved program to find out that nothing has changed except the coaching program which is more expensive. Trust me people - do not invest your money in this company. It is a scam along with all the others out there promising the same thing.

I am in debt big time because of this scam and all the expensive programs. They encourage you to charge your credit card with a huge ammount of money in return. However in the end, you are left with no money and a big credit card debt. I even went through the BBB to get my money back and it did not work. Be warned--do not do this and do not charge anything, Please.

I called the 800 number in Oct. 2007 from the TV ad. The start kit was $39.95 the operator upgraded me to a large program with more benefits for $276. When I received to books and cd's I entered my information on the winning for cash personal website that was included, from the personnal website there was a popup to learn more about winning for cash. I called the 800 number and spoke to Emil he asked me a ton of questions and said I would be perfect for the protege course where I could make a ton of money and that it was a 20 week course, but first I had to be interviewed by Mr. Chris Tate who makes you feel like your can make thousand of dollars in no time. Well I feel for it and purchase this course for $3895, Mr. Tate never said that I could not cancel this course. They mislead you when they have you on the phone. I looked over the course several time and I felt that this was not for me. I contacted the 800 number to cancel. The women that I spoke to said I had to speak to a manager because I purchased the protege course. I spoke to Nick he told me he did not want me to cancel and to give the course another try, he said he would not cancel the until I gave a try. I called back less than one week later to cancel the course again within my 30 day trail. Nick was so rude and nasty and would not cancel for me. I asked him to then cancel and refund my $276 and that I would deal with the rest of the money in some other way. Again he got so nasty with me on the phone I hung up on him.
Well my credit card was never credited the money. Please beware of Russ Dalbey. I have filed a formal complaint against the company and Russ Dalbey and its employee's.

I bought this stupid package 3 months ago, after going through it, I realized I should of researched it first, it sounds like you need at least $20,000 JUST TO GET STARTED!!!! Which when you buy the damn thing it tells you, YOU DON'T NEED TO INVEST ANY MONEY OF YOUR OWN", B.S!! I have read many people's stories, some are really sad, I too have a family to raise, Russ dalbley is stealing money from my little girl. Has anybody ever thought of taking any LEGAL ACTION towards him??????? There has to be alot of errors in his scam that he never thought to take care of. Better yet take it to the medias attention, he'll be exposed, nobody likes negative attention!!!!

When I signed up I was so excited about really making money with this program. It turned out to be so hard to learn. You have to pay them alot of money and more people call even after you paid them for the program asking you to spend ten times more for coaching. They rip you dry. So very expensive. I paid for coaching too anyway like over $600 being I was stupid and I figure maybe they are really good at teaching. Not really. You learn online and you read miles and miles long of web pages that I don't think anyone would have the energy to read. Gets really boring and confusing. The teaching was terrible. They spend so much time talking too much basic stuff that all the mathematical stuff you really need to learn is not explained clearly at all. Something like this has to be learned in college or something. This business you would be a notebroker. I like math but this type of figuring out is very difficult and complicated. I feel they need to really improve the training and coaching and charge lot less money. My dreams never came true here. I am not a lazy person and I am an entrepreneur trying hard to make money online but too hard with this company. I wouldn't recommend it unless you been to college and know real estate already. I signed up some time a year or 2 ago. I just saw this website today so I figure I can complain.

Well as most stories have gone we all are looking for extra income, to improve our quality of life. I want to hit Russ at his conscious, My family has gone through alot of ups and downs, like most families do, Russ, my wife is a Breast Cancer survivor, I am presently unemployed, I could go on, but why! Your program not only mis-represented what can happen but you knowingly took money that feeds our kids, pays for their schooling, and all the necessities we need. Can you sleep at night???. I have never tried one of these programs, so I read the mailer, had my brother in law read it, and we figured lets try. Received it,called the support line and all I got is you should talk to a lawyer for guidance, Russ what goes around comes around.

Hello Everyone, After purchasing the basic course from Russ it became very obvious that it is indeed a scam. They immediately begin calling requesting that you invest more money. The rep even went so far as to say that you could not be successful without further investment. His exact words were that "it would be next to impossible without further investment". They have the nerve to ask for thousands of extra dollars before you even understand how the basics work. They prey on your sincere desire to start a low costs business with unlimited potential. These people are manipulative. Having spent ten years in Real Estate Sales myself, and closing over 20 Million Dollars in Sales, I had the knowledge and ability to flush them out quickly. The rep was honest in saying that he had never used this program himself nor had any of the other reps to his knowledge. He actually said that they could not as part of their agreement with Russ. I now act as a consultant and I have trained other real estate professionals and mortgage professionals too, and I can promise you that the only good mentor in such a complex business is someone who has actually worked for a period of time, or one who currently works in the field everyday and makes their living in such a manner. A true coach, educator, or consultant does not read to you from a script. These guys are boiler room sales personnel. Invest your time and your money somewhere else. The emails and phone calls still continue to this day. I ignore them all and so should you! It is obvious that Russ makes his income from your willingness to invest yours in him.

My husband and I called in last October and signed up for the initial Making Money business and paid about $600. We were really excited and when they called the following week, we signed up for the "winner's circle" plan for $6000. I got the information, called the people on the list, sent postcards and received two calls out of several hundred contacts. Both parties wouldn't come down on their price, because they didn't want to lose money. I couldn't believe how hard it was to find noteholder information and then 3/4 of my postcards got "returned to sender." I'm out $6600. I gave up and thought of trying to recoup my money after a year has passed, but has anyone taken any steps to try to recoup their money? Thanks.

Wow! I've read some of the reports and my experience is similar nearly everyone! Certainly the concept of purchasing notes at a discount makes sense, but it would be nearly impossible with Russ Dalbey's program. The clear give away is when you are politely asked in the product literature to contact their office as part of the start up program and you speak with a focused, very well spoken person who talks with you for the first minute and then recites their script for the next 10 minutes or so. What does he have so much to talk about? The Protege program that encompasses personal training and marketing material that all but guarantee your success in this business. This program, which was smoothly presented, costs over $4000! I must admit I thought about it but as always I must confer with my wife on major financial purchases. When I asked him for a syllabus that smooth voice went up an octave as if he was frightened by something. He stuttered and asked my why I wanted this. I said that I would present this to my wife. He was irate and that is when I knew somthing was up, but my wife had already said, "No!" I am out a couple hundred bucks and I am okay with that. The calls kept coming for weeks, both home and on my cell usually within seconds of each other. The emails you get from them always makes it seem they are giving you something of value that you must partake of. It's always about spending money. For some free good detailed information on the note business if you think this is still for you try www.papersourceonline.com. They've been sending me emails for over a year and the information is realsitic without the phone calls and sales hype.

i bought the program to try for the 30 days. i had dalbey's peoples calling me also wanting me to join their so called winning circle. they don' want to give any helpful information towards your success. your unable to access any of their websites that they give you nothing is truthful they treat you like you are the people that you should be calling to buy a note from. basically they want all this money from you and tell you it will take months to years before you see any thing back. they want you to work according to the adviser so my take on this is that they advertise this business 4 your business your money. that is how russ dalbey and his staff make their success. each person that orders his stuff and is stupid enough to give them thousands of dollars. russ you are a scam, but i got to give it to you your successfull on ripping people off. you prey on peoples need for wanting more.

I think for those defending the product, they just have to see the informercial again. The defenders of the program already have a lot of background knowledge and had chosen this kind of investment using a different route. The fact that you only have a single page of defenders and multiple pages of complaints tells you the success of the program. Maybe the program works, but it's success rate is very very low. If you ask any of those protege advisors if they have sold any note, the answer is no or a dodge to your question. So they are teaching you to do something the advisors and coaches have never done. If you have read the entire program you will realise it is the same marketing technique they use on the people whom they are supposed to coach. I went through the entire list of 250 leads that they gave me, and found out that one name was repeated 48 times and other names were duplicate or triplicate. This turned out to be slightly over 100 leads. Of the leads, the most recent note was 4 years old with a then balance of 28,000 and some dated 2001 worth 7000. Searching their phone numbers, I only found 28 contacts from that list. Of the 28 contacts, 95 percent were listed in the do not call list, which leaves you with about 3 people to call. I don't say that the program does not work because I could put in the hours but it is very deceptive in that it is made to seem easy. I received calls concerning the protege program and signed up but asked for my refund right away. I asked the advisor why they were pestering about joining the protege program despite claiming that you can succeed without them. He told me, it would take a good 2-3 years to ever find a single note to sell on my own that is with a lot of hard work. when reminding him that they offered a one year help, he quickly replied that the help is very limited. In conclusion I think Russ Dalbey needs to be clear and honest with anybody interested in the program and have statistics of the success rate so that people know what they are getting into. For those struggling with getting your refund, a good way would be writing a letter to the better business bureau who often find out any misleadings and follow through.

I am a disabled senior, living on a fixed income. I saw this info commercial one late night in August 2007. I thought that this might be something that I could do to generate money for my 15 grandchildren to have a better start in life for college, so I purchased it because it say 30 day money back garantee. I called, gave my credit card they took $321.00 of my money and sent me the program and about one hundred names of people holding notes. I went over the program and the phone calls started coming. They offered me private lessons for $750 more, which I didnt not have. I had all I could do to come up with the 321.00. After trying to work this program and to solicted the help of my daughter-in-law too. It was a complete waste of my time. I am so tired of getting ripped off. It seems that the good people are always the ones being taken. Is there any recourses we can take? I want my money back. Of course, now the 30 days are over. I am so sick and tired of getting taken. This is about my fifth time being ripped off trying to find a better way of life for my future generations. Sincerely, Audrey of Washington, D.C.
